Terrible food, no jamaican cooks in the kitchen the food is unauthentic! Chicken was undercooked and "jerk sauce gravy" tasted like ketchup

We have never tasted food on a takeout from a West Indian takeaway like it is home cooked food.Rice was amazing you could taste the pepper and seasoning, ox tail was soft and flavourful .Cant thank you enough that finally a West Indian take away that has got it 100% perfect.Great portions ,delivered in well presentable containers and totally delicious.Belly full now zzzzzzzz

I don’t know how this place get good reviews Must be people that don’t know about West Indian food the food is dry and old been sitting there for god knows how long had to throw it in the bin never again am I going to buy from this shop the food was nasty The festival was stale and not fresh the jerk chicken was dry and tasted horrible the rice and peas did not taste good Waste of money there’s much better West Indian shops selling better food go somewhere else is my advice. The reply to the owner the food is not even cooked in the restaurant gets cooked elsewhere then it gets microwaved and served not fresh food. Staff became rude and defensive when I asked if it was authentic Jamaican cuisine. Not authentic Jamaican/Caribbean cuisine. So I'll take my money somewhere more respectful and better; Wembley, Hanwell, West Ealing, Sheperds Bush, Harlesden etc

Top class food! I go there weekly to get my favourite jerk chicken with plantain. Go around noon on the weekend to get your plantain as it finishes fast. The grilled smoked chicken is super tender and juicy. Their sauce is goes very well with the chicken. Apart from that, the service is good. The bald guy(sorry I don’t know the name) is always super friendly and greets you well. Please bring cash as it’s easier for them, they don’t accept card. This place can be considered as one of the gems of Greenford.

The mouthwatering Ox tail and Jerk Chicken were fabulous, had been the best Caribbean meal I had so far. Jollaf rice could've been better but it doesn't change my perfect rating to this restaurant. Strongly recommend!

Not sure what’s happened? Is there new ownership. I need to know asap, the layout of the shops changes and the chicken did not taste nothing like it has been the last year. The jerk was dry and the meat on the chicken was really Chewy. The price is still ok and the portion sizes are still good. Changed review maybe the chicken that day was a one off. Today the chicken was juicy full or flavour and better.

Awful jerk chicken. Bought the large meal which was meant to come with 1/2 jerk chicken and rice and peas. For something that cost £15 the portion was lacking. The chicken tasted bad and dry as they didn’t even put any sauce/gravy on it. The only thing that was good was the rice and peas which I had to eat dry. They also force you to pay for veg which isn’t expensive (£0.49) but annoying as they don’t allow you to complete your order if you don’t add one (plantain/steamed veg). Overall my order was £20.53. The large meal cost £15.48, I also got a festival dumpling for £1.10, service fee was £1.66 and delivery £2.29. I’ve ordered the same meal from here before and thought I’d give them a second a chance but nothing has changed from the last time so I had to write a review this time. I can’t be the only one who feels this way about this meal. £20.53 down the drain just like that because I’m definitely not eating this. Thanks for ruining my Sunday 👍🏾

the Jollof Rice definitely didn't taste like a proper Jollof to me (as my Mother is from Ghana so I'm used to eating it often), someone went a bit too crazy with the black pepper too; but to be honest, I've had it from Nigerian places in Harrow and they have done far, far worse. But I wasn't expecting it to be accurate, this is a Carribean place. The jerk chicken and the oxtail were what I was expecting to be good and they were excellent. I would definitely order again. This restaurant also uses high quality packaging, I live almost 4 miles away and ordered online and everything still arrived piping hot.

Very unsatisfied with my order. First time ordering from here and my order was missing an item ( plantain) Ordered oxtail and not enough sauce and there is hardly any meat mostly bones. Not the best experience ordering from a new place

Everything was amazing , I’ve been to many Caribbean restaurant and you can really tell the difference with this. Just the perfect seasoning , even the steamed veg tastes amazing, usually it’s bland from other places. We tried many things from the menu recommend 100% especially because we had it delivered and it was still as good as in store

Great food, been here quite a few times now and the service is great. I’ve tried the jerk chicken, the passion platter with oxtail and curry goat, meat was falling off the bone. Rice and peas and boiled rice is good. The Mac and cheese we had was the nicest we’ve had from a takeaway in a long time! Only small small criticisms would be, more sauce for the oxtail or curry. More filling in your patties, the flavour is there I just want more of it - there’s more pastry than filling! Also the plantain could do with an extra minute on each side so it’s nice and brown. Otherwise! Great spot, great food and local for me!🤩 will definitely be going back

So I gave this place a benefit of the doubt and ordered again from Uber eats. The curry goat gravy taste good (flavour wise) but the meat pieces looks like there was a bit of oxtail in it. And I am so put of by the way the curry clotted in the delivery box as it has too much fat/lard or oil in it. It was so bad that I had to reheat the curry and filter all the oil out of it. See the picture, I know you want to sell tasty food but not at the expense of a stroke. It’s just too negligible!

My friend raved about this place so I thought I'd give it a try through Just Eat App. Most of the items were unavailable, but I found some items which looked good. As soon as I placed my order, I immediately received a text saying that my order had been cancelled and I would not be charged. Dissaponting experience. I will not be ordering from them again EDIT : Instead of the owner replying to me to explain why my order was cancelled without explanation, (after which I would have gladly taken my review down) they resorted to replying with a childish youtube video. Really professional.

Ordered a chicken soup and asked for scotch bonnet to be added as I’m sick. They delivered my soup and it was soooo goood! && they added the scotch bonnet. Just what I needed. Thank you so much

Wow wow wow!!! The food I just ate, I HAD to leave a review. Had the jerk chicken, rice &peas, coleslaw and plantain and despite how full I felt - I had to have seconds because it was absolutely amazing! The chicken was cooked to perfection, everything was an 11/10. Looks like I found me a new Jamaican spot because I will definitely be returning

I recently came across this restaurant and I’d never tried Jamaican cuisine prior to my experience. I must say, I was surprised and grateful I did as the hospitality was outstanding and the mannerism of the staff was welcoming. I explained I’d never tried Jamaican cuisine before and the staff member took time to explain all options available and didn’t usher away any questions, he was attentive and polite. The food itself was well prepared and the portion was larger than expected, the chicken was cooked to perfection and the rice and peas along with the goat curry was scrumptious. I’m glad I came across this restaurant and my only regret is I didn’t earlier! I’m now a regular customer and the restaurant has never disappointed me. I wish it all the best, you deserve all the recognition and positivity which comes your way. Muz

Next time call instead of replacing any item with one you’ve run out of. Not cool. I could and would have ordered from somewhere else. Your reply speaks volumes. Instead of apologising for replacing plantain with steamed veg, you say “Im impressed”. I will not order from you again if you cannot simply say sorry for getting it wrong. I needed plantain for a dish I was cooking and instead of calling me to tell me you’d run out, you decided to replace it without my consent and it’s not about £0.49 - it’s the principle. You do not know that I ordered that dish JUST for the plantain, do you? Keep moving. Kmt.

If you’re looking for loaded portions this place is it. if you’re looking for flavour this place isn’t it, they are missing the most important part which is seasoning. They have high quality ingredients but no seasoning in the rice/chicken etc. There is room for improvement.

Listen, I’ve had my fair share of Jerk chicken. But boy! Full of flavour it was delicious. They served up good, platter was enough for two. Generous portions, jerk sauce was also delicious. I would definitely be coming back for more. I know it may slightly be more on the pricey side. But well worth it, the only feed back I can say. The plantain needed to be a bit more ripe and sweeter. This is the best Jamaican/Caribbean food in Greenford. It’s a little bit tucked away with no parking. But park behind the tesco’s near by and it’s a 3 min walk. Will definitely come back for the curry. If anyones passing by it’s a worth a try.

I arrived at 21:45 with my daughter and step daughter, to dine in, to find no one at the reception behind the counter. We called hello, and stood there for 1min seeing that there is a camera behind the reception area. We just left and went to the ‘Original German Donner Kebab’ restaurant across the road. Maybe they are great for takeaway only. Definitely not recommending this place to sit and eat… it’s a shame… maybe they’re great for takeaways only. Looking across from ‘Original German Donner Kebab’, 22:22, still no one there and the door is open. 22:26 someone talking to customer.

Great tasting food! Everything halal! The employee was really kind, helpful and patient. We arrived at around 10pm yet we still got steaming hot plates. Oxtail, Mutton Curry, Jerk Chicken and the Mac N Chesse were phenomenal! Can definitely recommend this spot. We‘ll come back here for our next trip!

I was disappointed with this place I called in for collection I spoke to the gentleman on the phone and said I would be coming to collect the food and when I arrived they hadn't even started making the food. I still had to wait 10 minutes for the food to come out and which the food wasn't fresh. I asked for coconut rice and the rice didn't taste nothing like it which I think they heated it up in the microwave which if that is the case it's very bad. The tables was very dirty they didn't even bother to check if the tables was clean so we could eat in clean conditions it was left dirty from the previous customer. But overall the food was a 6.5 out 10 I feel like what made it nice was the sauces which they had on it. I won't be going back there as they have alot of improvements to make on the food quality.

Do you know when you get that particular taste for something on a Sunday? Because I did and I wanted oxtail with rice and peas, sticky plantain, and a wonderful tasty steamed veg that hit my palate with what I was hoping for!! 😃 I am a happy customer. I even called them back to let them know that they got it right an my appreciation. Try them out and I can guarantee you will be gobbling down your food woiii gobbling down your food real… Very good portions but I think it’s cash only. Anyway that was my first time and I’m sure it won’t be my last.

Ordered a takeout at roughly 10pm scheduled for closing at 11pm. Looked at the menu only a handful of meal options - ordered the oxtail which came with rice and peas and steamed veg. There was in 1 person was eating inside. Food took around 10 minutes to be handed to me. The worker was nice and polite and I paid by cash but a card option is also available. Decent portion size, food was fresh and reasonably palatable for £10 Positives - Decent value for money and competitive prices for around London. Small menu which I preferred. Negatives - Nowhere to park had to drive and park all the way down the high street. Food took a little longer than I expected. Before I ordered the worker did say not all the menu options are available at this time even with the very limited meal deal options. Food was prepared in the back could not see any of the available options - Caribbean food is so wonderful to look at wish some of it was on display and available to view. Not the most tasty Caribbean food ever, not crazy tasty. Food was fresh and was a big portion size for 1 mrsl. Overall enjoyed it, it's definitely worth a try particularly for the meal price around London.

I ordered via Uber and the food did not turn up. Unfortunately, when speaking to the manager he said dealing with my order “was not his problem”. Overall, their customer service is dire! I would not order from them again! One of the worst experiences of customer service I have had the displeasure of experiencing! They even refused to issue a refund or resend the food. I have truly never experienced anything like it !

Slow service while ordering also the sauce for the jerk chicken comes from a ketchup tub? Don’t even get me started on the actual meal I also tried their curry goat there is 0 flavour which you would expect since the food is not cooked by an actual Jamaican chefs the only decent thing was the mac n cheese but the portion is tiny. 👎

I have a customer for the past few days and I love the food from Passion Jerk Centre. The best part about it, is that they will give you get a good portion in all ranges.

I drive across London for this everytime. Always worth the trip. The best Caribbean food I've ever had and genuinely lovely staff. Can't say enough good things about this place. Incredible food, fantastic service :)

Visited this Jerk Centre on Sunday 5th September and I was extremely pleased with my experience. Quality tasting food. Real authentic Jerk sauce, flavouring and seasoning. Excellent customer service. Good portion sizes. Can eat inside or takeaway. Will be visiting again very soon.

This is a tough one because I never like to leave bad reviews for small businesses, but that was hands down the worst curry goat I've ever had in my life. Paid for a large and the portion was medium at best which I could get over if the food was nice, but it was completely flavourless. Got a small amount of meat that tasted like it had just been boiled in water. The beef patty was somewhere between school dinner quality/prison food. The only reason its 2 stars and not 1 is because the saltfish fritters were very very good.

Food was nothing more than ok. Rice and peas bland, curry goat fatty and mostly bone, jerk wings were delicious however the actual jerk chicken was a bit bland too.

I placed a large order from Passion Jerk Centre to cater for a birthday party. Hassan was incredibly helpful and made sure I got the best deal for the amount of people. Myself and everyone else absolutely loved the food - in particular the fried chicken and mac and cheese. This is the only Caribbean takeout I’d order from in the area and can’t wait to have more! Good food and amazing customer service.

I don’t even live in Greenford and I have to come here for Caribbean!! I’ve tired the Mac & cheese, rice & peas, curry chicken, jerk chicken, jerk wings and curry goat. Everything is always tasty and full of flavours and the prices for the amount of food is really good.

So tasty. One of the best oxtails I have eaten. Aromatic, beautifully sticky and rich. Only thing I will add some ox gravy on the rice. Keep the good standards guys.

All these reviews are capping the food is dead. The jerk is dry no flavour taste like ketchup with chilli sauce. Mac and cheese taste like craft mac and cheese. Rice and peas dead 💀. Curry mutton no flavour just basic needs more flavour and salt. I would rate it 1/10. Dead food everyone capping on this reviews.

Best halal Caribbean takeaway in town, I tried the Mac and cheese with jerk chicken… and all the delicious flavours burst into my mouth! I Highly recommend and will definitely be back to try a variety of the food!

Recently visited this Caribbean Take Away for the first time, my daughter was is need of some good soul food. I would say she's quite a connoisseur of Oxtail, she loved it! It's not one of my favourite dishes, however I returned the very next day for the same. Portions are extremely good size, price is brilliant & the food ... well I've given 5*. But why not try it for yourself. Staff very attentive. Highly recommend 👌🏽

Tried Passion Jerk takeaway for the 1st time. The portions were large great value for the price. Im a true lover of plantain and with most takeaways its usually dry and hard but with Passion Jerk it was succulent moist and very tasty. I will definately be back to try out some of the other dishes on the menu.
