Lo visité esta noche con un amigo. Llegamos a las 7. 30 pm y pidió un plato principal y una bebida. -Estaba bien. El servicio estaba bien. A las 9. 30 pm queríamos pedir bebidas calientes. El gerente nos dijo que necesitaba la mesa y que tendríamos que irnos. Después de que expresamos nuestro asombro por haber sido pedidos a salir nos ofreció pequeños cafés en la casa para llevar, que aceptamos. Dicho esto, tengo 60 años y hoy ha sido la primera vez que me han pedido que salga de un restaurante porque necesitaban la mesa, cuando llevaba al menos dos horas sin estar en el restaurante. Quizás es un problema del primer mundo, pero los precios son del primer mundo y la comida no es todo eso, así que no esperaba ese tipo de tratamiento. Es poco probable que regrese. Despotricen. Me siento mucho mejor por haberme expresado.

I really enjoyed my visit to Soyo! From the decor, the delicious food and wonderfully warm and helpful staff (especially Melce). I can’t recommend it enough.

Food is very healthy and delicious. I tried the salmon caesar salad and everything was fresh and nice. service was amazing. our waiter took care of each small details and really make our stay unforgettable. defenetely we will go back there.

I found this little cafe in Golders Green, the place is clean and tidy, the staff is warm and friendly...I ask for an espresso and It was really nice.

Has a large, original menu, well suited to children too. Service was prompt but we found it particularly noisy. It's a trade off between reasonable food and an unrestful atmosphere.

No hay aparcamiento en el hotel y aparcamiento en la calle es objeto de ejecución y difícil. Sin embargo, esta kosher 'no hay restaurante de carne es todavía vale la pena una visita. La decoración es sosa y las mesas muy cerca, además de un alto nivel de ruido de otros clientes que parecen gritar a sus amigos sentados en la misma mesa. El servicio era amable, eficiente y bien informado y la comida llegó sin mucha demora. El menú es bastante variado y hay cuatro innumerables ensaladas y sopas y pastas calientes en diversas formas. El pan era marrón y con su sucesión de aceitunas y con gusto casero. Entre nosotros probamos las sopas, ensalada de aguacate, ensalada y el halloumi a la ensalada marroquí y todo era delicioso y grande, así que no teníamos sitio para el postre. Los precios son muy razonables, ya que es una carretera posición y adecuarse a alta con otros restaurantes. En breve abundancia buena comida a precios justos. Sin duda volveremos otra vez y volveré a reservar.

Located in Golders Green this little restaurant offers top quality kosher dining at affordable prices. The waiters are especially friendly.If you're with kids the top floor is designed to accommodate them with a play zone so that you have your quiet time to enjoy a good meal.

Visited for breakfast with toddler. At booking requested table upstairs near play area because of this. As a large party were due at lunchtime we were advised we could only sit upstairs if we came for breakfast. Unfortunately on arrival we were told play area would not be available because of the later group booking which was disappointing. We chose to stick upstairs regardless thinking there would be space for toddler to run around and let off steam and one member of staff very kindly agreed to get a few toys out for him anyway.The food was delicious. Loads of choice, we enjoyed an enormous serving of french toast with fruit salad and poached eggs on a croissant. Coffee was strong and tasty too. We essentially had the upstairs to ourselves for most of the meal and when we left downstairs was heaving but the sound had not filtered up to us. Will definitely return when in the area.

I like to give Kosher restaurants a positive review and therefore I waited until my second visit to write a review as the first time was not great. This time we were sent to eat upstairs which is an overflow for those who have not booked in advance. The décor is not exciting and they have a kids play area which we all felt should have been removed for the evening. The lighting wasn't great and we had to use our phones to see the menu. The waitress seemed overstretched. I think she was the only one serving all the tables upstairs. It took her ages to take our order and then it took a very long time for our not very complicated salads to arrive. I had the Asian salad which sounded great but tasted mediocre. The last time I was here I made up my own salad and chose a dressing. I chose badly and it ruined the whole salad. None of us were overly excited by our choices. Last time I visited I was very impressed by their bread and could've eaten a whole loaf on my own. This time I tried to eat sensibly so I avoided the bread. I wish I hadn't.We chose to skip dessert and have a hot drink instead. I must have taken too long to decide and the busy waitress disappeared after taking everyone's order apart from mine. When the hot drinks arrived I managed to order my own drink but after about 10 further minutes it still hadn't arrived. When it was time to leave we decided to go directly to the till rather than ask for a bill and wait another 15+ minutes. I appreciate that the restaurant was busy but if they can't cope with the extra guests then don't shove them in the upstairs area and make them wait for everything. It makes for very discontented customers. I want to come back again as others have reported that they have really enjoyed their meal so I hope that the owners read this and take positive action to rectify the problem.

My partner and I went for dinner here last night. Service was slow and confused. Original waitress forgot my drinks order and didn't bother with laying cutlery on our table either. The male waiter seems a little more competent and when bringing our starter spotted the lack of cutlery and ran off to grab some. The mushroom soup was tasty but nothing special. Lasagna for main course was totally bland and lacked any flavour or seasoning - just a plate of mush (i've had better ready meals). Coffee was burnt and bitter; didn't finish it. When the bill arrived; the waiter loomed over our table expectantly so we didn't have the heart to ask for the extortionate and totally unjustified service charge to be removed. My girlfriend had a sweet crepe which was passable. Total bill came to £30. Overpriced at half the price. Unless you're just after a dessert - Don't bother.

What a lovely place! Went with my vegan friend who sometimes has problems finding something suitable to eat. The staff were so friendly and it was great to see vegan options specifically highlighted on the menu. Super food, nicely presented, good value and excellent service. Thank you!

I've visited Soyo once a week for the past three months and have always had a very good experience (see my previous review).But TODAY (18 August 2015) - service was slow, surly and came at a HUGE premium when the waiter (whose name was printed as HANAN on bill) tried to rip me off by charging a service charge of 25%!That's right TWENTY-FIVE PERCENT SERVICE CHARGE. Now, that's a con by anyone's standards - even fantastic restaurants in the USA have never tried to get away with 25%!HANAN'S colleague took the bill back and corrected it to a much more reasonable 12.5% but it doesn't feel good to be conned. And HANAN wasn't pleased...Trying to find the name of the owner/manager has proved difficult so far ... but when I do I'm going to call him - and possibly the Trading Standards Office of the local Council too.Having said all the above - the food was up to the usual high standards and I am assuming this was a localised problem with this one server.I sincerely hope 25% service charge is not going to be a regular policy at Soyo...

Here i ate the best lasagna in my life. The service, quality, and atmosphere was excellent. They seem to specialise in frozen yoghurt too, which look really amazing.

Went due vegetarian friend's insistence and was pleasantly surprised! Had very good Broccoli and Pea soup followed by"Asian Salad". They do a range of Pasta dishes and a section called"Create your own Salad"...clever idea! Some fish items also on the menu.One quibble....they have the menu divided into "breakfast" and the rest...and I do not see why the breakfast items cannot be served all day???? Staff very friendly and helpful,prices more than reasonable.I was also told that a branch is opening in Fairfax Rd Swiss Cottage.

If you want a casual dairy meal, then go here. I had the breakfast special which is wonderful! I recommend highly for breakfast/lunch/brunch.

I've visited Soyo several times and never been let down.I'll get through my gripes first: I HATE the 1990s, white walls, white plastic, Los Angeles style. It reminds me slightly of a hospital's in-house cafe and of horrible Lala Californian entertainment-types pretending to be all health and fitness and doing cocaine when no-one's looking... it only reminds me slightly, mind. The crowd and restaurant is NOTHING whatsoever like LA. Soyo is totally kosher - literally - it's a dairy restaurant. No meat - but lots of vegetarian and fish dishes.It has a huge salad selection with a make-your-own option. The salads are tasty and well-proportioned.There's also a good selection for breakfast/brunch options with a strong Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influence. Try the Shakshuka.There are also fresh smoothies and juices.And because it's dairy - a good selection of creamy puddings too.The atmosphere is lively but not wild and annoying: mothers, children, Golder's Green youth and business people all fill this place with conversation, which is easy to have because music is kept in the background.The staff are efficient and friendly and will accommodate any special requests (American-style and VERY unusual in London...)There's also a kid's play area upstairs.All in all, a good value place to have a lovely meal with friends.

I only get to Golders Green once a week or so to stick up on kosher groceries. I always take the opportunity to eat in one of the kosher restaurants. As this visit was during the Nine Days I popped into SoYo for a quick light lunch. Great buzzy atmosphere - rather like being in Tel Aviv. They now have daily specials in addition to the extensive menu, so I chose lasagne. It was hot, a giant portion and great value.Definitely worth visiting, especially if you are vegetarian.

At first glance, the menu gave me a really severe anxiety attack - little joke - I mean to say there are so many delicious choices we did not know what to select. However, after much deliberation and a wonderfully patient server who helped us narrow down our choices, we ordered. My husband had a hearty mushroom soup and the best ( so tasty, I can not believe it's healthy - his words! ) Dairy salad he had ever eaten. I loved my Top Tips crepe and would definitely order it again. The salad which came with it was very crisp and delicious. For dessert I shared the yoghurt cheesecake with my husband. I do not recommend it...get your own, it is way too scrumptious to share!crepe with

Loved the food and choice. A bit noisy though. We went on Father's day so it was extremely busy with children and so quite noisy.

A fantastic milk kosher place that at no notice handled 12 people with no fuss and made us feel really welcome even though not all were eating. Great place for teas and coffee with a huge selection

The restaurant was freezing cold, I asked if they could put the heating on several times but no staff seemed bothered. Most of the other guests were wearing there coats & hats !!!!!!!We mentioned to the staff the amount of small flies on the walls & around - no one seemed bothered........The staff seemed very blunt in most, but not all cases.I had the Champagne salad > it was so so sweet I could not eat it, also the salad was 'wet' all leaves sloppy, & poor presentation. I told a staff member who said I chose it & what was he to do - would have been nice to been offered an alternative - I would have paid.The best bit was the desert, yoghurt & fresh fruit.Bill cam to roughly £ 20/ head - not worth it & wont be returning

For adults, there was a good selection of food on the menu, but they did not have many options for children, which was disappointing. The noise level was shockingly high - you would think there were 100s of shouting people there - so much so that it is hard to hear what people at your table say. Definitely not the place to visit if you want a quiet evening.

Lovely food, great flavours. Really enjoyed the mango & white chocolate shake. The only downside was smoke. The front was open & the smoke constantly wafted inside.
