The Stratford Brasserie in Newham

Another disappointing meal at the e20 lounge at The Stratford hotel. I had the lobster and crayfish roll which was really a poor quality meal. The roll tasted cheap, I was expecting a nice slathering of the tarragon mayonnaise but it hardly had any mayonnaise. The roll was charred rather than toasted and the smell of burnt bread overwhelmed the whole thing. It cost £19 which was exorbitant and I could have had something similar and far better and a third of the price at the local Pret. On the upside I went to the oyster happy hour last Wednesday and it was good and today my fellow diner enjoyed his club sandwich. So the lounge e20 is still very hit and miss unfortunately.

Part of a large 4 star hotel. Birthday meal for 10 of us. Some meals were fabulous (the chicken dish, broccoli with chilli, stone bass) but the three steaks were not so great. None were cooked as they had been asked for & one was cold. Service was faultless & ambience was nice on a warm Saturday evening. Expensive for what we got, even by London standards.

Staff were nice & service speedy - but food a total flop. Chicken in the club sandwich was rubbery & tasteless & the bread stuck to the napkin it was served on. £14 for a 125ml glass of Sauvignon felt steep for the modest setting. Excellent cocktails though. The restaurant is located within the open lobby of the Stratford Hotel & didn’t have much atmosphere, there were more staff than customers on this mid week lunch time visit. Many better places around.

Been here a few times now and I have no complaints at all. The food is outstanding and so worth the money! Such a beautiful restaurant, well presented and the staff are lovely. Would highly recommend!!

Lovely food in pleasant modern surroundings. Relaxed atmosphere and no attempt to hurry us. We had the fixed price lunch. Portions were small, but food was well cooked and beautifully presented. We both had room for a pudding which were quite generous portion wise. Service was a bit hit and miss, but friendly. Toilets were really dark - a pet hate of mine, but proper towels to dry your hands so not all bad!

Pre-match dinner. Good service, nice place, insipid tasteless vegan paella for me which was mostly rice, 10 peas and 3 carrot slices and cost £19 and a tasty duck breast for my son which he said was lovely. Make of that what you will.

So So disapointed. Only booked a few weeks ago and chose this on the basis of what cocktails were available for a bottomless brunch. Got there and they had changed the choices..to ones we did not like. The said it would have been on an email but the email I received the day before had none of this info. If it had, we would have cancelled as can have prosecco brunch locally!. Finally the manager agreed for us to have another choice but that was after were were going to walk. Service was always polite but so so slow. Had to call someone over more times than not and it wasnt even busy.The food was lovely I have to say but the other MASSIVE complaint was there was no live DJ as advertised, No vibe just piped music..why was it advertised as a kitchen disco brunch. Very very disappointed and DO NOT recommend.

Have been coming here on and off since it opened but was disappointed on last two occasions. Visited for a quick drink last week. My friend and I ordered 2 different glasses of red wine but our waiter didn’t know which was which and suggested he ask the bar staff. Lunch today, first drinks took 15 minutes to arrive, food was disappointing, expensive and uninteresting. And we had to complain about the ladies toilet as one of the cubicles stank. Disappointing.

This spot has dodgy inconsistent food. The chicken Caesar salad was not worth the £16 price tag as the chicken was tasteless, the croutons were stale and there was a tiny sprinkling of Parmesan. Very disappointing. I had cauliflower cheese with the salad. The cauliflower was under cooked with a blob of melted cheese on it; it was bland and nothing special. As a local I have eaten here several times and the food over my last three visits was average to poor. On this occasion the waitress asked us three times if ‘everything was ok’. This only further deepened my resolve as clearly they were insecure about the meal they served. What a shame.

The spot was great for lunch. Service was amazing. Our waiter Michele was amazing and professional. Will definately be going back

Came here to celebrate a birthday and the music was just noise. When asked to turn down the "music", we were told they can't do anything as it's a live DJ. It was an absolutely inappropriate and horrible taste of noise which could ruin any meal. Felt discriminated against as I had to use ear plugs due to the loud noise from the restaurant. Not an atmosphere fit for the type of restaurant. Not relaxing at all. Definitely not recommending this on my food network. Real shame as the waitress seemed nice enough.

This is located right next to Stratford International Station. The waitresses and all staff were friendly and professional and several times asked how our food was. Tye portions were extremely generous and great quality. John's steak superb my lamb divine. An amazing evening all round and would highly recommend for a night out.

Great menu choices at the Bottomless Brunch. Ham & Eggs for two of us and Eggs Royale for one. Delicious food, good portions and great service. Generous with cocktail top ups and a 10 minute warning that our bottomless time was nearly up. The Frozen Espresso Martini was amazing. We also enjoyed the Mango Bellini. Thoroughly recommend this Bottomless Brunch in a smart setting.

Went for late bottomless brunch. Finally (!!) the weather was better, the staff were so helpful moving us from an inside to an outside table. Everything perfect - attentive but not overly so friendly staff, absolutely delicious burgers (we all had), great dj - all in all a perfect day, Would highly recommend, will be back.

We were seated promptly and brought bottled water. Then followed a 20 minute wait with no drink or food order taken. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. Daughter’s steak looked good, my duck leg was over cooked. Felt this was an expensive meal for the level of quality/ service. Spent less in the Darwin Brasserie at the Sky Garden for much, much better food and service.

Went to the kitchen disco bottomless brunch with a group of girls and had a great time. Atmosphere was chilled and not as party-like as the name suggests. Waiters were attentive but not generous with the refills. We all enjoyed our food and the restaurant is beautiful. Would try somewhere different next time for a more lively vibe.

Food at the E24 restaurant part of the hotel is not only great value, but delicious, and we are foodies .

Isabella was the best hostess ever! Delicious food and drinks. Music ambiance was fantastic. Brunch was great value too.

Brunch Me and my family went for brunch. Our server Patrick was absolutely amazing, he was very attentive, absolutely friendly, we will absolutely return and recommend, and be asking for Patrick to be our server.

Patrick was a gent! Best waiter and a true gem! We will come back for great food and flowing drinks!! I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday celebrations with a great atmosphere xx

We accidentally booked here for dinner but were pleasantly surprised. We decided to go for the set meal which I really enjoyed. I went for the cauliflower main which was super tasty. Also our waiter Patrick was brilliant, really helpful and friendly throughout our evening.

Really good, best hotel restaurant I’ve been to in the UK. We had different starters, which were both very good, then steaks, with amazing sauce and chips. Generous portions, we couldn’t finish, and excellent value.
