I went to the atual restaurant specifically for the curry goat, to bring home for my husband also ordered some other meals to try! To my surprise once home the curry goat was missing trying calling several times , but no luck! No answer! Food is good but was very disappointed as my husband was looking forward to eating the curry!

First visit to this restaurant. Served by the lovely Hattie who was very helpful and pleasant. Chose the jerk chicken with rice & peas and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, so much so the plate was clean, except for the bones!

First time going into the food court, I myself thought I would try the Caribbean so we found Rhythm Kitchen, nice menu selection & the staff were so friendly especially after I asked about ingredients regarding my nut allergy - the chef was so considerate. The food was some of the best we have had in ages & good value for money. Definitely will return soon! ❤️

First time trying this place and I’ll definitely be back to try the pork. I had a craving for jerk wings which was exactly what I went for. Super quick being served and they were really friendly. There was quite the wait for the wings, around 10 mins. The wings were delicious, fantastic flavour. The only downside is that they weren’t that hot on arrival so by the time I got to the last couple of wings, they were completely cold. I’ll come back though, the flavours were banging.

Was served by a lovely young women by the name of Hattie. Looking at the Prices I was going to change my mind and Go to Nandoes. But Hattie reassured me the food is excellent and the result did not dissapoint. I had the Stew chicken with Rice and peas and steam legs very happy with the quality and Service

I was at Stratford today and we decided to go for Caribbean food. I asked for curried goat with roti and selfish fritters. The fritters were very nice and the sauce was superb, however, the fritters were oily. The curry goat was very disappointingly salted. Very very salted that I couldn’t eat it. I managed to eat the roti without the meat. And the other thing that turned me completely off was, the potato’s with skin in the meat. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Not to my liking. I’m sorry but Rhytm kitchen won’t see my money again. Ps the workers must have a bit more costumer service skills. They were serving me at the same time talking to other and not paying attention!!

Mi amigo y yo vinimos aquí esta mañana, a primera hora cuando abrió, y fuimos los primeros clientes. Honestamente la comida estaba deliciosa, teníamos cabra al curry, col (omg yum! ) y yo tenía patatas fritas mi amigo tenía arroz, era encantador. Y he estado en Jamaica una auténtica comida jamaiquina. Esto fue muy bueno, y un gran servicio. Sin duda volvería de nuevo 🤗

As a Trini - very little to criticise about the curry goat, plantain and rice. I prefer the curry itself to be slightly 'sweeter' but the plantain balanced this plate beautifully and the heat was very tolerable. Before I ordered I was worried about the portion size. I stand corrected and I knew I had made the correct choice for lunch. Thank you for bringing the cuisine I love to the table. Continue!

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Rhythm Kitchen twice now, and my experiences have been a bit of a mixed bag, but overall, it's a solid spot if you're craving Caribbean flavors in Westfield Mall. Jerk Pork: I've tried the jerk pork on two occasions, and my impressions varied. The first time, it was phenomenal—definitely a 10/10. The meat was tender, juicy, and packed with that signature smoky, spicy jerk flavor that had me savoring every bite. However, on my second visit, the quality dropped a bit to a 7/10. The pork was still good but lacked the same level of seasoning and tenderness that made it exceptional the first time around. Oxtails: The oxtails were decent but could use a bit more attention to seasoning and tenderness. They weren't bad by any means, but they didn't quite hit that melt-in-your-mouth, fall-off-the-bone quality that I usually look for in this dish. I'd say they're worth a try if you're a fan of oxtails, but they could definitely be improved. Sides (Coleslaw & Rice and Peas): This is where Rhythm Kitchen needs the most improvement. The coleslaw and rice and peas were pretty underwhelming. The coleslaw lacked the creamy tanginess I was hoping for, and the rice and peas were a bit bland. These sides are supposed to complement the richness of the main dishes, but they fell flat in adding that extra burst of flavor. Overall: Rhythm Kitchen has the potential to be a go-to spot for Caribbean cuisine in Stratford, especially with their jerk pork when it’s on point. However, consistency seems to be an issue, and the sides could use some improvement. I’d still recommend giving it a try, particularly if you’re in the mood for some good jerk pork—just be prepared for some variability in quality.

Really helpful staff as I had no idea what I was ordering. I settled on the Oxtail with two sides for 16.45. Food was ready in less than 10 mins and was delicious. The low mark for atmosphere was only because it's a food court here with communal dining. Plenty of space though on a Thursday.

I had a curry goat meal and wow it was delicious 😋 one of the best I have ever tasted. Cutlery was shiny and spotless and the guy serving was very polite. Would I recommend. Hell yes. 👍

Felt like I was at the food court at the airport. The restaurant is situated in the food mall so you can sit amongst diners from different providers. Staff were wonderful however I felt the food wasn't authentic with the rice being rather dry

Such tasty food, had the oxtail and my family had chicken and ribs. All plates were delicious and 2 sides is quite generous, definitely fills you up. Honestly, the oxtail was so tasty, well worth the price. Can't wait to come back :)

The dish was good. I liked it. The amount of meat is large. The 2 choices of accompaniments are a plus. The amount on the plantains is small.

This has been my place to go to eat Oxtail as I consider that this place does the best Oxtail stew I ever had, however the staff seems very unhappy, might be a thing that managers can look into and it will be the perfect place to eat.

Rhythm kitchen always delivers with the boneless curry goat roti wrap. Good portion and seasoned well.

Food is disappointing. For the same price or cheaper you can get much better food from the selection of places in the food hall. Rice and peas was clearly old and the jerk chicken was very average, and im being generous. Fruit punch was decent though. The food was not worth the price.

I’m posting here because I’ve been calling and no one has answered. And I won’t be back in Stratford until next week. I bought the fried fish meal yesterday on my way home. I had half of it last night and it was all good. Today, while having the rest of it, I bit into a piece of metal which seems to be from a pot scourer. This does not give me confidence buying anything else from this restaurant. And it’s a shame because I often stop there on my way home and wait sometimes up to 30 minutes to receive the fish. And I’m always telling others about it.

Everything I've bought here taste great. Their coleslaw is the best I've ever had, their jerk chicken is great, their roti is great and so is their sorrel. A bit pricy but well worth it.

1 star because I cant give 0. Ordered oxtail , steamed veg , basmati rice & coleslaw. Absolutely 0 flavour in food literally couldn’t eat it. The coleslaw was warm ? The steamed veg had no flavour and seemed stale. There was pieces of rice in my oxtail sauce aswell which was weird ? Overall so highly disappointed after seeing good reviews on TikTok but I guess that’s for the Walthamstow one not Stratford. Would NOT recommend.

Sorry uncle who was making my oxtail last night you got to rethink how much oil you using. There's too much oil in the oil tail, roti was not great either. But the plantain was good. By far the worse oxtail I had.

The customer service was terrible! I waited at the till to make my order but I was totally ignored by all 3 staff members. I asked one of them if they were open today and he rudley replied 'yeeep' and he proceeded with what he was doing. I waited at the till for a further 5 minutes but again, I was totally ignored. I was going to spend quite a bit on orders but the rudeness of the staff have put my friends and I off for life!

Date 28/8/24 Time 7.41 I attended rythm Resturant in Westfield Stratford after being recommended, an went onto their menu online to see what is available an decided I would purchase a boneless goat roti at £12.45, when I was about to make my purchase I was told it is £13 .45 an not the price I viewed on their menu list, Quite disappointed that after speaking to 3 members of staff an asked if they could honour the price viewed on their website I was told their till would be down after, an how Westfield has not updated, .. customers are not administrators an not aware whether goggle will or about to update their menu prices, consumers go by what is seen online, very poor!!! An on this premise I score ZERO!!.. an do not recommend this restaurant, … awful service

1 star for the bottle of water. Ordered jerk salmon and rice.....30 minutes later no food, ask the young man by the till what's happening ,his mannerism came across as if he did not want to work . He walked to one of the chefs spoke to him. The young man casually tells me there was no Salmon can I wait a few more minutes. I asked him why was I not informed, he failed to answer. No sorry no apologise for the inconvenience. 5 minutes later after my family has eaten I requested for a refund he appeared cool with no reaction and did not hesitate. I asked for manager he says he is the supervisor, I told him I would've appreciated a sincere apology and still nothing no response. Ended up with no food and shocked by the casual, no care customer service. Well done Rhythm kitchen well done!

Went for a Caribbean tea which cost £40 per person. Subpar is an understatment. If you are going to serve hi tea at least try. The food I received was 3 Salish fritters which were over cooked and hard on the outside, 3 slightly larger than thimble sized plantain cornbread’s, 1 jerk chicken wing skewer made up of 3 halfs of the wing (yes that is 1 1/2 wings) two flavourless scones, a mini cheesecake and a rum cake the size of a 10p. The teas were made from cheap supermarket tea bags. On top of that the food arrived cold, the 1 and only rum punch had no punch, so I bought 5 shots of rum which cost me £28.15 which were sold as 25ml but we was only given 20ml. The only thing high about the tea was the price. The pictures are of £80 worth of food.

Wow is all I can say. Amazing food very good portion size great price and the most friendly staff. I had the curry goat rice and peas and plantain...tasted and looked great. Had a job to finish it as a much larger portion than expected....I did my best though lol. All staff smiling welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be going back when in Stratford again

The guy behind the counter was lovely, i’ve never been here before and he took his time to explain everything to us. He also complimented our outfits that were matching. The restaurant was busy at the time we were visiting but that didn’t matter. The food came quickly and tasted delightful! We’ve had the jerk chicken, mac and cheese, salt fish fritters, plantain, black peas rice, oxtail, sweet potatoe fries and the coleslaw. We also had some homemade punch i believe. The food was warm at the time of arrival and tasted freshly made. The sauces tasted nice also, beware of the hot sauce if you can’t handle spice really well because it is really spicy, we loved it because we are used to eating hot foods. We told him we came all the way from Amsterdam to try the food and he was happy about that. I would defenitely reccomend this place if you want food thats worth your money. I think we’ve paid like only £55 for all of the food we’ve got. I would surely go again if it was around the corner. I would say try it yourself if you want good jamaican food.

Food is way too pricey now. The ox tail and curry goat has less meat and more of the dumplings or potato. Not worth the price. Was very disappointed on this occasion. UPDATE. Gave them another chance in 2024, and the food is rubbish now. Oxtail and curry had no layer of oil indicating it was boiled instead of stewed. Toooo spicy, The spice literally sent pins and needles through my body - definitely over spiced. My cue to never patronise again.

Went here last week and had the plantain, roti jerk chicken wrap, and rice and peas. The wrap was phenomenal and tasted amazing! Plantain was crispy around the edges and soft in the middle, divine! I'm coming here again soon and I'll try the curry goat next! Compliments to the chefs

Ordered Mac and Cheese, expected a nice good portion for £4.90 price, container was filled half way, looked microwaved, doesn’t taste good, oily, and took pretty long to prepare. I wouldn’t come back here based on this experience.

Don’t get the braised oxtail. Quality ok. But 17£ for a rice&peas, a few slices of plantain and a bowl of mostly bones and barely any meat is a joke. Wouldn’t eat there again.

I didn't enjoy the jerk chicken meal at all; it tasted burnt. I actually asked the guy at the till to recommend their best meal, and he recommended that. If their best meal tasted like that, I wonder how the rest would taste. The plantain was well done—soft and juicy. I liked that, but not the jerk chicken. I couldn't eat much. I would have gone for the ribs; maybe that would have been better.

Went yesterday and orderedthe jerk pork, steamed veg, mac and cheese and fried plantain. Was 10/10, these guys know what they are doing.

03/07/2024 My daughter & I attended this place on the 1st floor of the Westfield Stratford Centre and Absolutely loved this restaurant. Authentic West Indian cooking. Curry meat was tender and flavoursome, (would say Goat, but not sure it's an accurate description as not sure if goat meat is readily available in UK), nevertheless, the meat was seasoned and well cooked, bursting with flavour. The rice was lovely, just one minor comment, couldn't taste the coconut cream. The Coleslaw was delicious as was the Jerk Pork & Sweet Potato chips. The portion sizes were in keeping with a West Indian meal and we were full. We added a Rum punch to liven up the afternoon, which was pungent but not too strong. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will go again. Thank you to all the Staff, who were friendly, helpful and efficient. The prices were reasonable and in keeping with the area. Keep going, you're doing gr8 👍 Unfortunately, we forgot to take pictures, but rest assured presentation was good.

The blandest jerk chicken I have ever had. The only nice thing in the plate was plantain. Do not recommend, not worth the price at all!

Service: Unwarranted sassiness from lady that took my order and deliberately substituted my order without asking me, I got home to find my rice and peas had been replaced with chips. Food: Jerk chicken was average and was in a pool of stew, plantain was all mushy and the portion was insultingly small. Atmosphere: Very lively food court atmosphere but seating was an issue hence why I ordered to go. Overall: I was last here a couple of years back and I have to say the standard has fallen across board, I'll stick to my local Jamaican restaurants(especially since customer service comes with same level of sass).

Sorry to say but very basic with confusing flavours trying to be Caribbean.

Overall Rhytm Kitchen exceeded my expectations. I ordered the chickpea channah, rice and peas, and steamed veg- and ate it all. As someone that usually doesn’t finish their food due to getting bored of the flavours, I was happily surprised that I enjoyed every bite of this. The value for money is great- for £12 you choose a main and two sides, with all portions being generous. The food itself is so yummy and really tastes like a home cooked meal which is something many Caribbean places I’ve tried in the past have lacked. You would expect this kind of quality of food to come from an independent restaurant rather than a small outlet within a shopping centre which just adds further props to them. The team are super friendly and happy to advise or answer any questions which adds to the experience also. They feel more like a group of friends/family rather than a company team which I think is important in creating good food. They did advise me that they have their own location in Walthamstow (not far from Stratford) where there is a more homely feel, with rum tasting events and live entertainment which is great if that’s what you’re into. They also use a loyalty stamp card scheme which is great if you’re someone that eats out often!

Was disappointed! Ordered Red snapper and literally got 1/4 of fish! No tail! No head! Just half the middle, That’s after waiting 40 minutes and cost £17.45 with 2 sides. Tasted ok…. My mate ate her whole meal before I had to go back to the counter and ask to ask, “If they had forgotten me!” I used to really love this place, dot think I’ll be going back.

Can’t believe such high quality authentic Caribbean food is in a shopping mall. The oxtail was so juicy and soft and tasted amazing. The slaw was sweet and sharp. The rice could have had some more peas but that’s not a complaint on flavour. The service was friendly and fast and the server seemed compassionate about the food and his workplace. I was told about their other restaurant and will be visiting there asap and will 100% come back here when I’m next in the mall!

The meat was really nice (curry goat) and the chef was very pleasant and passionate. As a Caribbean person, I thought the roti skin was pretty authentic.

As a true Afro-Caribbean, I think that Rhythm Kitchen did Carribean cuisine justice! Not only that but the staff made sure to accommodate all our needs! Great place and I would definitely recommend!

I've been left with no choice but to leave this review after watching a movie in wesfield me and my 14 year old granddaughter was a bit pekkish so we decided to try the rhythm kitchen? We had the BBQ ribs and chips on Saturday at 19.35 and to b 100% honest have been sick for 2 days stomach cramps sickness and diarrhoea 2 experiences I don't want to talk about on here never been so sick in my life my granddaughter was worryingly sick I would never eat there again tried to phone management and can't get a answer on the phone after 2 hours of trying every thing I've wrote is the truth good luck make sure y take some wipes with u
