Unfortunately the food is just not worth the prices being asked! I don't mind paying high prices for good food. We had such a good experience when we first started having our meals here. It's such a shame that they have put profit above quality. This review is not a reflection of the hard working, friendly staff. But a mistake on the management/owners side. £14/15 for a small wrap and fries is very over priced for what is more of a take out venue. We have had numerous problems with the app also and this has never been fully rectified even after talking with one of the owners. We have gone from using this place twice a week to only on the odd occasion. Such a shame.

We ordered a delivery for the first time. Efficient service but a mixed bag of quality. The wraps were excellent and succulent but the 1/4 chicken breasts, whilst meaty, were over cooked, dry and difficult to eat. Skin on fries came arrived soft rather than crispy. But it all tasted good!

It is not the first time I have had cause to complain regarding the over expensive and dry chicken, but having complained before I expected things to be very different with this new branch, sadly they are just the same, the chicken was served dried out and impossible to eat, they still owe me the money???????????

Thank you chicken and blues for being really helpful with my order over the phone and going the extra mile to make my order perfect. Also my food when it arrived tasted amazing. I will definitely be back.

Muy tranquilo en el restaurante, aunque parecía estar ocupado haciendo entregas, la comida era deliciosa: buenas alitas de pollo, muslos y medio pollo, las papas fritas estaban bien calientes y las porciones decentes, el personal era amable y el restaurante agradable y limpio, mesas espaciadas y desinfectante disponible + menús desechables visitaría nuevamente vale la pena intentarlo si en el área

Visited today when the “eat out to help out” offer was on. Manager pre warned us there would be a wait for food, which we didn’t mind. Food was great - we knew it would be having visited before. Manager apologised again for the wait after our meal but he really didn’t need to as it was a much shorter wait than we anticipated. Fab service and the staff are clearly trying really hard during a busy and difficult time.

Popped in today to get a lunch for me and my friend. That was the best food we had for long time. Friendly service and short waiting time. Cant wait to visit again! Wraps are to die for! Well done guys!

I remember when the first one of this local chain opened and the the food was really good. But unfortunately I feel as they have good bigger the food has suffered. We ordered on a Monday lunchtime as a lockdown treat we bought a chicken wrap a Jack fruit wrap some sweet potato fries and fries . I just about ate my warm chicken wrap that felt like it had been warmed by someone sitting on it the driver over .my wife had one bite of the Jack fruit wrap it just fell apart complete cold mush .and as for the fries they where both stone cold so unfortunately dont think I'll be using again

A lovely little restaurant that serves (mainly) chicken based dishes - as its name suggests. Very good quality food, very tasty and pretty inexpensive.

Just stopped off here with the Mrs on route home for some quick dinner, spot on service by all staff and food was lovely, the owner finished off the meal with a nice touch and gave us some complimentary wings to take home, 10/10 would recommend

Food was late for half an hour and when it came it was cold and undercooked.

Our food arrived 30 minutes earlier than we had asked for it and it was cold when it arrived! We unfortunately won’t be ordering from them Again

Great whole chicken plus excellent chicken burrito and sauces fall less price than the competition.

The wraps are very filling and very tasty. I'd definitely order again. Xx

I ordered the quarter BBQ chicken and it was so bland it tasted like nothing. the wrap was ok. buffalo wings where decent. however food gave me a stomach ache,

Very disappointed in the food this evening. Food was 15-20mins late. Food arrived via a bicycle from Winton to East Howe very far to travel on a bicycle. Only slightly warm. Food all squashed, soggy and bags falling apart and had to take items out of bag from delivery guy. Gravey spilled out. £52.00 total order with 20% off and still charged for delivery! Not impressed.

Unfortunately the avocado in both are wraps was hard and not ripe. We also found the sweet potato fries way too salty. But the chicken and wraps were good, plenty of chicken and good amount of filling. Quick delivery as well.

The wraps were massive and very tasty! The sides were cocked to perfection but unfortunately the portion size were a let down, especially for the price of £3.50. Overall, would order from here again.

Is the chicken in the wrap supposed to be stone cold?? Lettuce tasted unwashed will not be using again

Ordered food 7:20 food didn’t arrive by 8:30 called up food would be leaving in 5 and wouldn’t be long still no food by 9:10 called again which staff were not helpful at all, food finally arrived parts of food was cold (only food in foil was warm) chips and sweet potatoe fries were soggy and cold, halloumi was stone cold which resulted in it being rubbery. Overall serive and food very disappointed will not be ordering again!!

Cold food. Shockingly made. Gristlly chicken. Not the right sauces. They basically slapped up our 35 quid order and did t care about the quality. Really poor considering normally is not bad.

spoke to kesha on phone. ordered many times from here also been into restaurant many times with friends never had a problem. this particular time my food was 30 mins late and when it finally arrived it was freezing cold. I called up and made a complaint as to which the lady said she could send another but at this time it was already late so we agreed next time i called I would get a free meal of the same I ordered this time. last night I called to order the meal I was owed, to be told she can't get hold of her boss so can't authorise it and to call back another time. I agreed kindly as I thought thats fair enough. I then ordered and paid for my food online with my card to get a email saying they cancelled my order . absolutely disgusted by the way I've been treated especially considering how much I have been to this place. The lady is very unprofessional and rather rude . not impressed

Food is great, portions are good size. I've never been able to eat a meal for one in one sitting. Really enjoy the different sauces you can get too. Delivery times are a bit...but so far the food has been worth the wait every time. Still hot when it arrives, so that's good. Have never been to the restaurant or had to call in so can't rate their service.

Everything was way too salty. I’ve drank 70 pints of water in the hour after eating the food and my body still feels like the Nevada salt flats. In fact, my body is so salty that my son has turned into a stone statue, which isn’t a bad thing as he’s being quiet for once. Definitely go here if you are obsessed with salt.

Our first time ordering from Charcoal Chicken and it was the best takeaway I've had in a long time. Delivery was about 30 min earlier than expected. Food was of good quality and very tasty.. Would recommend.

I ordered at 7:40pm it was at my door by 7:53pm that's crazy service I got an extra leg for free just because which is greatly appreciated, chicken was solid, gravy is great and you get a bunch of it for £1 Burrito was really good, taco mayo complements it nicely, wrap was good too (double meat is unnecessary imo, they really stuff the regular one as is) Chips were well seasoned and cooked well too Will most likely order again in future!

Food was nice but would of been much nicer if it was a bit hotter. We would of appreciated a call from the restaurant to say they were busy or how late it was going to be to manage our expectations. Would order again but maybe not on a Saturday night or for such a large order.

we had had a slight issue with our previous order. I mentioned in the comments and asked them to check all ok. when delivered the first thing the driver said was how sorry the owner was and they had added an extra chips, and to contact them if there was any other issues. it’s nice to see a restaurant deliver great food and great customer service. we were regulars already but had always collected, and the staff were always great. nice to see they treat their delivery customers just as well.

food was good and lived upto expectations but the service and delivery time was brilliant arrived 25 mins before the allocated delivery time and everything was correct however the only part of the meal that let it down was the nachos and the lettuce in-the wrap and burrito

We order from here a lot and we are always pleased with the service and quality of the food here couldn't recommend more.

food was nice but a bit cold. delivery took roughly an hour longer than stated by just eat, not acceptable. driver didn't even apologise for the lateness.

Really good chicken and coleslaw, definitely ordering here again.

Such good chicken and great value for money. Really enjoyed the meal. They did forget the dips and mix up coke and diet coke but ultimately the owner was so nice and apologetic. We will definitely be ordering again as the food was delicious and the staff tried really hard to fix the mistake.

Having bought take away in person from Charcoal Chicken Co. and having once eaten in their restaurant area, I was delighted to see that they were on Just Eat. Ordered a meal for delivery and it proved as good an eating experience as visiting them in person had. Not your run of the mill chicken joint. Something special.

Heaviest chicken wrap I've ever held, it was very tasty too.

Really nice meal. Tasty chicken and curly fries. Delivery around the quoted time. Wrap fell apart and garlic bread a tad bland but overall good.

Food arrived 15 mins before time stated which was brilliant, however the food was sub-standard and not hot, in fact we had to microwave to heat up!! To be honest I was looking forward to a Nando's style meal and was hugely disappointed!! I appreciate this restaurant isn't claiming to be Nando's but I was expecting slightly better food. I had a veggie and chicken wrap, both were completely sloppy and had no flavour other than the sauce included in wrap which again wasn't great!! The veggie wrap was thrown together with a mass of lettuce, which in theory should be tasty but it was limp with so much water. The best part of the meal was the skin on chips which were hugely over priced for the quantity we received. I'm really disappointed and will not be ordering again. I'm gutted to have wasted my money on this meal tonight.

Unfortunately having ordered my food for a delivery time of 20:00. I came home at 19:50 to be informed by a house mate that the food arrived just before 19:30 and was quite cold by the time I sat down to eat it at just past 20:00. I'm sure this was a one off but if you ask for asap on delivery and it arrives 30minutes earlier than expected that's great but not when you have ordered your food to be delivered at a certain time, a few minutes here for there but 30!

Ive heard so many good things about this place, I was so excited to try it, but boy was I disappointed...

We are not usually ones to write reviews, however, we would just like to say how lovely our meal was tonight. It was a lovely change having a takeaway that tastes fresh and delicious that is hard to come by these days. The chicken was incredible and the milkshakes were amazing! Food delicious. Gravy wasn't as good as normal. Restaurant added 25 minutes to the order, but we arrived 1 minute before they suggested it would be prepared. It was ready to go and had clearly been sitting for sometime as it wasn't piping hot. Plus the staff said "we were just about to call you".

Ordered and had a collection time confirmed. Food actually not ready when I arrived and finally turned up 7 minutes late. The chicken was very dry and had a very salty taste. The jalapeno peppers were tough and tasteless. Very disappointing.

Ordered at 7pm, food didn't arrive till 9pm, was not very warm, when I rang up to ask where the food was they gave us a free Ben and jerrys so was satisfied with the customer service, it's a shame as their chicken is AMAZING! Just better when is hot
