Cocktails OK (at happy hour) food alright too. Service good.

Steak was chewy and tough, had to ask numerous times to have our food and drinks order taken. Waitress had a drinking attitude the whole night as if she was doing us a huge favour by serving us. Spent £300 and begrudgingly had to pay a £30 service charge. Cannot think of anywhere worse to eat in Bournmouth

The food here is great, and the kitchen clearly cares. They even made a breakfast off menu for my son. However, my order came wrong, and the waiter asked me what was different.

Great Service & Location, But Disappointing Gluten Free Pizza My partner, who is coeliac, and I were excited to find gluten free pizza on the menu at this lovely seaside spot. The location was perfect, and the service was excellent, friendly and attentive throughout. Unfortunately, the food let us down. We both had gluten free pizzas (with an extra charge for the base), but the base was poor in quality and not enjoyable. The pepperoni on mine was badly burnt, which made it worse. It's always great to see gluten free options, but the taste and quality really missed the mark, especially disappointing when choices are already limited.

We ate here on a sunny and hot April afternoon, had a spot on the balcony with a brilliant view of the beach. Service was really friendly and the dishes we ordered were delicious. The paella had some much seafood in it as well as chorizo, and the calamari and chicken wings were very good too. They welcome dogs too so our little chihuahua was happy people and dog watching from the balcony. Definitely recommended!

We were really looking forward to visiting Bar Aruba on a nice sunny day. When we arrived the first thing we were greeted with was the awful smell of people smoking weed outside We were seated very quickly and our drinks order taken straight away, these took about 15 minutes to arrive only for my wife’s pina colada to have barely any rum in it, she drank it and ordered the 2nd as it was happy hour, hoping to get a stronger one this time. The food took an eternity to come out too and looked delicious, we had ordered Mac & cheese as part of our meal but that didn’t come, so I asked the waitress (who had little to no interest in her job) and she rolled her eyes and went to sort it out. The head microwave operator must have been working as it arrived quite quickly bubbling away like a volcano about to erupt. Soon after leaving I felt unwell and had an uncomfortable evening suffering with S&D

Some Staff were a little abrupt. We booked dining but requested to stay sat in the bar area as our baby was asleep and were told that's completely fine just had to order food at the bar. Went to order food at the bar and we're told they weren't doing any food. Then had to explain the situation seem reluctant to serve us but they did. Then I asked about the mothers day free glass of prosecco which seemed the staff were clueless about. So the had to show them there own Facebook post, then concluded in the staff having a secret conversation about it while I waited. I believe I ended up paying for the prosecco anyway as the meal was more then what I had worked out it to be. All in all a little unprofessional plus the lift to get the pram up upstairs is all abit of a faff. If you were on your own with the pram I'm not sure how you're meant to make the staff aware that someone downstairs requires the lift. Luckily I ran up while my wife waited downstairs. Won't be rushing to return.

Worst roast ive ever had. Parsnips and carrots hard and inedible (was it served straight out of the ground??). Chicken dry, yorkshires tasted of pure oil. Waited over 1 hour for a meal that was undercooked. The staff kept ignoring us, had to fight for attention to get our glasses refilled. Then they put a 10% service charge on the bill. Jokers. 😂

Should spend less money on decorations and more money on staff. Also - service charge without notifying.

Great place and views , staff so happy helpful too really great vibes and wether dancing, eating or chillaxing on balcony or all 3 , it's beautiful

We popped in during the daytime for a quick drink and stayed for hours lapping up the sunshine on the balcony overhead pier. We had great cocktails and atmosphere…so popped back again in the evening for the dj and a bit of dancing! Great vibe even for us 50 year olds!

Ryan was an absolute delight. What a fab cocktail experience. Highly recommended - if you want to have a fun experience and start the night off in a friendly fun atmosphere visit Aruba. Thank you Ryan we will be back x

Teníamos la hamburguesa zinger de aruba y era excelente. Picante y dulce al mismo tiempo. Teníamos la oferta de almuerzo de £ 10, una hamburguesa o pizza con una bebida. Excelente relación calidad-precio. Los niños tomaron un macarron con queso 👌 y una pizza infantil. La pizza era un poco grande para un niño de cuatro años, pero ella lo disfrutó. En general, la experiencia fue genial. Nuestros servidores Charlie y Jim eran geniales también. Hasta la próxima.

Atmosphere nice. Bartenders awesome quick to ask if you have been served. Security giving signs to each other when you go toilet thinking you are some dealer or druggie lol. Like I asked where is the toilet you don't have to follow me to see if Im really going toilet I am not a child and If I wanted to do drugs I would hide it that you wouldn't even recognise what happen. Chill security not everyone who comes for drinks is a druggie.

False advertising. Clearly states breakfast till 11.30, but been told 10 minutes ago, they have stopped food.

Great location and amazing lunch. We had the Sunday roast family sharing platter - wow!! Really tasty and lots of it! We will be back!

Aruba enjoys a prime location on Bournemouth Pier, offering a lively bar atmosphere that’s not typically associated with breakfast—but surprisingly, I found the experience quite enjoyable. The vibrant decor and laid-back vibe made for a refreshing morning setting, different from the usual café-style breakfast spots. I had the French toast, and it was excellent. The bread was thick and perfectly soaked, resulting in a custardy centre with a crisp exterior. The balance of sweetness and richness was spot on, making it indulgent but not overwhelming—exactly what you want from a proper French toast. However, the coffee was a letdown. It lacked depth and flavour, tasting more like an afterthought than a well-crafted brew. A venue of this calibre deserves better coffee, especially if they want to attract more breakfast-goers. Overall, it’s a fun and unexpected spot for breakfast, with great food but disappointing coffee. If they can improve that, it would be a fantastic morning destination by the sea.

We went here for breakfast. We were served by Aaron who was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious; I had the french toast which was so good. On top of that our meal was buy one get one free (apparently applies throughout February). Would definitely recommend.

Our Christmas party took us to Aruba for a cocktail masterclass with Jim. Jim is an exceptional host. From the start he was welcoming, always had a smile, relaxed and professional - his cocktail making class was so much fun, he involved everyone, all ages and abilities, had a great personality and had the whole group laughing from the beginning to the end, wanting more... Can't recommend enough!! Thanks Jim and Aruba!!

Bad attitude club staff from personal experience and last night heard of similar from a pal on separate occassion. Staff mess up but if you complain, they throw you out 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 Plenty better, friendly venues in town to go to instead.

Ryan the bar tender was really friendly and helpful for picking up drinks and telling us what was in offer. He was attentive and received really good service. 5* to him

Went today (Sunday) for a roast, unfortunately no roast left at 3pm, the food we had was nice but had to wait a long time, and we were left without service or even checked on for awhile. Waitress was lovely, think she was on a break but other staff didn’t come over.

Aruba is a stunning establishment. Right on the seafront with sea views, a balcony and even stairs going down to the beach. Perfect to watch Bournemouth fireworks from. 🎇🎆🎇 The food is sooo yummy and our waiter was brilliant, so friendly and attentive to us. The decor in Aruba is beyond beautiful with some amazing spots for some selfies and group photos. You can even rent an area and buy party packages which is fab. The only thing that I have found on one or two occasions is the other customers can think they 'are more worthy/entitled' to be in there based on how you act and dress. NOT the staff but the other customers.

Actually a much more cool and funky place than expected given the location above the arcade. I can't speak for the quality of the food but a good place for a drink. However, music is basically club volume - a bit too much

Last two Fridays been to pier for food. Lovely both times. Service was excellent, friendly and quick service. Would defo recommend.

Not much atmosphere, slow service. Cramped in at the table, when not many customers where there.

Had worst food experience ever. We did order seafood boiled £90 and we left with empty stomach, lobster and prawns was overcooked dry, the sauce taste horible. We did complain about the food as mussels seem to be expired and smell so bad. Member of staff take our food and check with kitchen, after she come back she did say mussels been delivered today. No other solutions were offered. Ofcaurse we did pay for food what we not eat as we not that kind of people. For this i wont recommend this place at all, as the location at atmosphere is lovely staff and food isn’t pleasant.

I left my purse behind at this place. £90 in cash and all of it was still there went I went back 20 minutes later unbelievable. Whoever runs this place should be so proud of your staff I am amazed! Special thanks to Rosie Charlie and Ondra who helped return it! Xxxx

Went for a Sunday roast and it was incredible. Chose the bottomless sharing board and already booked to go back next week. The service was great all very lovely and was all very quick. Really great overall experience

Great location, right on the seafront. Staff were very friendly and super helpful. Lunch (amazing pizza, nuggets and chips!) It was brought out super quickly as we were in a bit of a rush. Fantastic service, thank you!

Enjoyed food and drinks in the midday sun. They were very under staffed and had to wait a lot between orders. Food was good and drinks were fine. A little pricey, but the views are exceptional.

Went here for a friday night out it was alright but had strong secondary schhol disco vibes and had to pay to get in. It wasnt that busy but staff looked more intrested in chatting to each other than serving drinks. We got bored and left within 30 mins

More of a bar and night club than a restaurant now, and pretty noisy. Good atmosphere if that's what you're looking for, but the food was generally over-priced for what we got. Good service and views though.

Booked a night for my sisters hen do at Aruba under the previous beach please package and we had a blast! The hostess’ were super lovely and attentive. Really impressed with security who took concerns over female safety seriously. Music was really good at the start of the night!

Girl behind the bar put us off very rude !!! We decided not to stay or drink reddish brown curly hair black top miserable and didn’t say please or thank you … gave out drinks without speaking to us after being rude about size of wine ! We visited sat 21st at 5pm

I’m not one for giving reviews, but myself and my family had an English breakfast here and without doubt it was the most appalling food I have had.cold, dirty plates and glasses, in fact my glass had lipstick on it. The price for two eggs, one hash brown, one rasher of streaky fatty bacon, small pot of beans, and a cold rubbery sausage I wouldn’t feed my dog with, and half of small tomato. The price £12.50. A complete rip off.

Well over priced for what they have. Its the whole tax on a view. Pay over the standard for a view of the sea

If you have a gluten allergy this is absolutely definitely is not the place to go, staff don’t have a clue about allergies , and given you gluten containing food is not a concern to them, after eating half of the wrong pizza it’s ok to bring gf one and not charging me that dosent make it ok, that dosent make up for making me very poorly for a few days after, staff need training as could be more serious for other allergies

The burger and linguini tasted very nice, the waffle hoewever was very tough, even when using cuttlery it was difficult to cut through.

I called the day before and booked a table for 2 for 7pm by the windows away from the doors. When I arrived there was nobody at the actual front desk and nobody to tell us that we had to go into the venue and go to the food service area. Eventually we decided enough waiting about and we walk over to the bar. Again waited for another 5 minutes only to be ignored (it wasn't busy) . Decided to walk to the food service area on the far side and spoke to the lad on the desk. Said I had booked a table for 7 by the window. He looked round and said sorry no tables by the window. I replied but I booked a table by the window and he said sorry and seated us a bit further back in the food area. We had lovely food, however I had the muscles and they were very nice until the the aftermath. The pizza wasn't cut very well and we asked for a pizza cutter to get a steak knife. This did not go well. Upon asking for the bill. I was very shocked that the venue has decided not to take cash anymore. I have eaten and had drinks in Aruba many times before and never been refused the use of our own currency. I find this very poor as we should be allowed to pay with cash regardless. Overall experience was not the best. Ruined the entire evening. The 3 stars on service is for the reason or all the messing about prior to meal. Service staff for the meal is a 4 from me as they did alright.

Not impressed at all, I went to the bar to order drinks, not many people there, 10 minutes later, still waiting, staff served 5 other people who came after me. The only thing I can think of is I am close to 50 and the staff served younger people before me, I gave up in the end and went to Key West instead who were much, much better.

Visited this place today to see family and catch a bit of the air show. The atmosphere was chilled, the staff were friendly too. Nice and clean and dog and children friendly during the day, what is nice. I ordered a pineapple,lemonade and a slice of orange, a pint cost £3:00, I then asked if they had any nibbles like crisps, they said no, but the closest thing would be a portion of chips, so I said yer go for it, the total bill being after to £8:00. That makes the bowl of chips to be the most expensive chips I've brought in a food establishment. I jokingly said they must be amazing for that price and the guy replied "why yes they are" They arrived in good time but not what I was expecting for £5:00. Tasted a bit like fast food fries, and a very small portion too, I've enclosed a photograph, so you tell me, does it look like a £5:00 bowl of chips. I think not. Lol. But I will say the few chips we got were cooked okay, but I could get more for my money at Mcdonalds. I think they need to review their prices and portion sizes because its put me off eating here again.

I went to an event at Pier Pressure, and I was really disappointed at the after party. The bouncer at the door was discriminatory and wouldn’t let me in, no one goes cristal clear to a after party but I had only 3 beers. It felt unfair and made the whole experience really uncomfortable when all my friends were let in except me, i kept asking to speak with someone in charge because I paid for that but they had no one, i feel sorry for them, probably they been bullied when they were younger I don't recommend the place 0 stars

Hotspot for young adults and couples in the evening but very flexible environment and great for families in the day. They also have a kids corner in the restaurant with board games and other activities to occupy children. We spent a lot of our holiday in this place. Went for breakfast here twice, we chose the French toast and savoury stack of pancakes (bacon and maple syrup). Both so delicious! We also ate dinner here. We ordered the chicken wings and fish & chips. The food served at dinner was nice but somewhat overpriced. We ordered numerous cocktails here throughout our visit. The prices were expensive however we did not mind as we were in holiday mode and also feel like the prices are worth it for prime location of sitting on the sun terrace overlooking the sandy beach. We used this terrace to watch the Friday night fireworks which was amazing! The atmosphere on a Friday night suited us as a young couple with a live DJ playing 00’s R&B songs, but some families might find it a bit too noisy.

Great place, little pricy but you get what you pay for. The buffalo sauce for the wings is incredible, great level of spice, great tang and not your run of the mill franks. Shout out to whoever is making that sauce - it SLAPS. Well worth ordering the wings here!

Had my birthday lunch with family. Ash was a lovely waitress. Really bubbly and friendly. Our service was spot on. We will definitely be returning in the near future 😁

Only been here once but is was for the HSWRK Pier Pressure after party so it was absolute fire! Following the amazing party on the far end of the pier, this place went off! Big ups to Jethro and James who supplied the best housey vibes. Yes, the photos are wobbly and blurry but they perfectly represent my state at the time of taking them. Oh the venue was a great space to party in too!

Good cocktails, busy on Saturday nights, wasn’t impressed with the choice of music.

Worst jerk chicken I ever had, when we ordered the server said it’s only chicken breast available, I said okay but when the food arrived it was just steamed chicken with jerk sauce on top and more sauce in remiken , the chef who is cooking or serving has no clue what is jerk chicken please train you head chef and let him know what is jerk chicken which you change £25 just for a breast of steam chicken and rice

Drinks a tad pricey and choice of beers fairly limited. Nevertheless wonderful view onto the peer, beach and out to see. Balcony smoking/ vaping area handy if you're that way inclined. Large, airy environment for an afternoon drink. Attentive staff (food not sampled). Shame they don't take cash. It's the location than makes this place worth a visit.

The best venue in Bournemouth. The view is magnificent. The menu, staff, activities, ambiance are amazing. Thank you very much everyone. We love Aruba :)
