Served by Maja and Barbs today. Both knowledgeable about allergies and the food and drink options. Food excellent as ever. Today we had the curry goat hash, jerk halloumi and slaw. Goat cooked to perfection. Also enjoyed a cheeky Mocktail.

Went to turtle bay in Bournemouth on Saturday 6/4/24. The atmosphere was lovely. The food was just incredible and the cocktails were 10/10. I 100٪ recommend eating here.

me and my friends were served by kitty today and she went above and beyond and made our experience so fun!! she was ontop of our drinks and food all day and we were never waiting for help as she was always available to help us :) couldn’t have asked for a better server for me and my friends on her 20th birthday

the food and drinks were quite alright, service on the other hand was okay at most. First and foremost, massive shoutout to Chloe, who this review is not directed at! She was great. Now, to set the scene, it is my best friends birthday and everything was actually going pretty well until me and one of my friends decided to step out for a cigarette; where we were greeted, or rather dismissed, by a blonde member of staff, in uniform sat outside (we later learned the girls name was Maya), who shouted “see you never” as she thought we left. She also seemed to find this situation very funny whilst my friends and i were complaining to her manager, very dissatisfied. This was a very disheartening experience. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this turtle bay, despite exceptional service from some of the other staff, purely because our experience was ruined by a minority of the team. again thank you to chloe though, because she was a star and did everything she could to compensate

Came to Turtle Bay for my Birthday - never been to the one in Bournemouth before. My friends went out for a cigarette and two members of staff (both on a break sat outside wearing their uniform) - one with blonde plaits called Maya - both thought my friends were leaving, so gave them a cold, unfriendly goodbye of “see you never” “don’t come back again” etc… and laughed as they walked off. We went to the manager to complain about the rude, unprofessional behaviour, and Maya came from behind the bar, laughing saying “was that me? it was only a joke haha”. wasn’t very funny to me or my friends trying to have a good time. we felt uncomfortable for no reason. The manager gave us shots and apologised, saying she gets bad reviews a lot and serious action will be taken place. But she went back behind the bar laughing and making drinks within 5 minutes of this happening. Won’t be back again, but thanks Chloe for apologising on her behalf and making our night a bit better.

Chloe was incredible the best waitress I’ve ever had and if I could request I would request Chloe. Also her washing powder smelt so good

I normally love turtle bay but after going out for some fresh air two waitresses turned around and screamed rudely “hopefully see you never!” I got the name of the one it was mya (blonde hair ) I am just so disappointed that nothing was done afterwards the manager on shift was unbothered and the waitress didn’t apologise, all she did was say “it was a joke”. This is unacceptable

Came for drinks. Kitty was a lovely server! Drinks are reasonably priced however can lean on the more expensive end, after 9pm you get two cocktails (of the same) for the price of one. Good spirits are all round good atmosphere. Thank you Kitty.

Turtle bay in Bournemouth is always a great place to go. The food is always high quality and hot, as well as being very reasonably priced for the portion sizes. All the staff were very friendly and our waitress was very attentive. The drinks, while expensive, are also a must have. Try and go before 7 or after 9:30 for the 2 for 1 cocktails, especially if you're only visiting for food, as this will save you a lot of money per drink. The rum share deal is also something to look out for. Edit: After yet another trip the food remained to its high level. Our server Josephine was incredibly attentive and helpful.

I had goat curry, it was delicious. I love the cocktails happy hours - buy one get one free. The customer service was excellent.

Booked in for three hours, they let us stay for almost four. Drinks selection was huge and everything I got was delicious!
