Twelve Eatery in Bournemouth

So happy to stumble across this gem yesterday. The food was divine, every mouthful was delicious and the girl that served us was an absolute star. I wish I lived closer to come here more often. Thank you Twelve Eatery for a great experience ☺️

We went for the camenbert, scallops, the burger and the steak. All were incredible. Vegan fine dining in an atmosphere that could be very pretentious if it wanted to be, but instead has a friendly, cosy vibe. Would recommend!!! Only regret is not having room for the cheesecake.

I like my meat, so does my mate. So we both were unsure what to expect here today. But what a Fantastic experience we had , food was beautifully presented and the staff are clearly passionate. Extremely tasty food! I honestly didn’t think vegan food could be this GOOD 😊! credit to chef & all staff 👍

I enjoyed the visit to Twelve, it's a lovely restaurant if you are looking for vegan food. It was something different for me and not my bag but for some it would be amazing. Totally recommend if you are looking for a plant based menu

On our stop in Bournemouth, we stumbled upon this place. What a nice surprise: the atmosphere, the service, the food. The taste of their plantbased dishes are stunning.

Some of the best vegan food I have ever had wasn’t amazed by the crumble but they happily took it back and the other dessert I had was wonderful

First visit to this fully vegan restaurant in Bournemouth. Wanted to take my omni friend for a treat and a treat it was! We loved everything about our experience, from the excellent food, to the attentive service with a smile and relaxed atmosphere. Will certainly return.

Avoid if you are gluten free - I messaged in advance as I am coeliac and wanted to be sure I could have their nut roast, they said it would be fine so we booked for my birthday. It wasn’t until we arrived and had our starters that they said I couldn’t have the nut roast. They told me whatever they gave me would be comped so I should get over it, although the rest of my party were only there because it was my choice for my birthday, and they then served me still frozen Yorkshire puddings alongside my meal. If they had been honest from the start we could have saved a lot of time and money, they seemed very confused by the concept of having gluten free food despite it being marked on the menu. Really disappointing and quite an uncomfortable dining experience.

Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and super friendly service. Only thing that that I could ask for more of this the food becuase it was so tasty. My partner said is was the best vegan restaurant he'd been to in 16 years!

That was my partners birthday, I brought cake and flowers from somewhere else , so the staff been really helpful to organise our bday they are so friendly I really love that place , but the food been a bit expensive hope they put the price down lol 😉. otherwise i highly recommend %100

Stunning as always! Service impeccable, these guys always go the extra mile which is why we continue to come back. Without asking they wrote happy birthday in chocolate on my partners dessert and presented with a candle. Such a great restaurant and so pleasing to see it busy

Heavenly divine. Left speechless by some of the flavours a thoroughly beautiful experience provided by a passionate and creative team. I can honestly say this was the beat food I have ever tasted .. The flavours were out of this world and i could not believe it all was vegan … i had the scallops which were made out of mushrooms - amazing but the creme de la creme was the raw lasagne - the flavour was to die for. We then finished off with the coconut cheesecake which awakened every taste bud i had … we certainly will be visiting again. It is now my all time favourite restaurant not just because of the food, but the staff too, who were so professional and charming.. The only down fall was the music - it was far to loud and not to my taste but apart from that a big 5 stars all the way.❤️

Truly exceptional experience. Long-established yet we only came across it recently when searching for the top-rated restaurant in town. It’s top rated for a reason - the food is fantastic, the service superb, and the ambience delightful. My menu choices on the night:- 1. Vegetable Tempura - scrummy! 2. ‘Ribeye Steak’ with peppercorn sauce, parmesan chips and vegetable garnish - delicious! And fully satisfying (55g of protein) even though (or is it because?) it was totally vegan and I am normally a meat-eater! 3. To share: (a) Dulce de Leche Cheesecake with toasted coconut and ginger crumble, and (b) Chocolate Orange Tort with blood orange sorbet - both luscious! All served with friendly aplomb, in a lovely atmosphere, at an easy to reach (and to park near) location. Nothing short of excellent! So good in fact, we have already booked up again for next week!

Brilliant restaurant! No need to be vegan - you will enjoy the food. Everything we tried was delicious and well presented. The decor is nice. The waiter was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the restaurant’s offerings which are all healthy organic… vegan virtues. There are very few vegetarian restaurants of this quality, where being vegetarian is irrelevant. Lifelong vegetarians, keen travellers and have tried hundreds of restaurants in our time. This one is in our top three. World class !

These guys have hands down done an amazing job at creating wonderful vegan dishes! No processed food all made with real ingredients. The cashew Camembert & beetroot gnocchi are to die for! Absolute must! Lovely cocktails too!! Highly recommend.

Been looking forward to coming to Twelve Eatery on a trip to Bournemouth for a while. My first time at a vegan restaurant and it was amazing. All the food was delicious and to be able to eat anything from the menu was a welcome change. We had the ‘scallops’ oyster mushrooms, raw lasagna, teriyaki tofu, cheesecake and chocolate torte. All were amazing, particularly the lasagna so tasty. Will definitely be back to try more from the menu. The people who work there are clearly very passionate, so friendly and helpful with menu choices. The decor and music add to the lovely atmosphere.

Food is good. But way too pricey for the food that is served.

I couldn't be more in love with Twelve. I always feel so relaxed there and I can feel the love and passion that goes into the food. It's more than just a resturant! Dalton & Greg are beautiful people too which makes the experience even more special. I literally don't want to dine anywhere else! 💚

The flavours from the kitchen are only constrained by the imagination of the cooking staff. Look forward to more "Wonka type" experiences in the future.

I am so happy that I finally tried this place!! I only eat raw foods (mainly fruit). I had the raw lasagna, and it was quite literally, the very best raw meal that I’ve ever had! So much flavour, it was delicious 🤤. I’m craving more already, so will without a doubt, be going back very soon for more. The whole menu looks lovely though and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. My new favourite place 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽.

Twelve is phenomenal. The flavours, ingenuity and technique in the food is fantastic, matched by a drinks list obviously made with love and personal, charismatic service. It's not often you get a strong ethos, and food & drink of this quality under one roof. When you do, it is normally fantastically expensive. Twelve is a rare thing that informs, delights, made this meat eater have one of his favourite meals in a long time, and all for a fraction of the price that would be fair. Can't recommend enough

We came for new years day lunch today and were blown away by how delicious the food was. There is a fantastic range of vegan food to choose from, and a lovely selection of drinks. The food was freshly prepared and tasted absolutely amazing. The service was excellent. The venue is stunning and it's lovely that dogs are welcome. This is a real gem of a place, and I highly recommend.

Nice food . Nice place bonus it's all vegan. I've been vegan years . The Xmas menu was on so not as much choice but ok. Only thing I would say even though I'm vegan I don't eat vegan cheese and a lot of the choices contained it

The service was very friendly and efficient. The ambiance was perfect as was the decor. There were four of us eating and the food was absolutely delicious! Very good value for money and a really pleasant lunchtime. You can tell the people who work here are passionate about what they do as well. We will be back! :)

Delicious!! My partner & I enjoyed a wonderful Sunday lunch here. All the staff were friendly, catered to our needs and ensured we enjoyed a wonderful culinary experience. Our starters, mains and desserts were all superbly prepared, cooked and seasoned to perfection! You can taste how fresh the produce is and that they lovingly make the yummy vegan proteins in-house. We highly recommend and look forward to going again soon.

Superb food and wonderful service.

Looked up best vegetarian places to eat in Bournemouth- twelve came up. It lived up to its name- service was lovely and the person taking care of us was attentive and passionate about the food they serve. Food was AMAZING! I recommend you give it a try- don’t be put off that it’s a fully vegan menu- all the food was incredible and made with skill. Also loads of GF options! Try the ‘camembert’ it was one of the best things I have eaten in a long time. Will 100% be telling friends about this place and we will going back for more!

Went here for my 40th. The staff and atmosphere were lovely. The food is great. The only reason for the 4 stars was the waiter messed up the starter, then asked if my husband wanted another wine with his dinner and he said yes but the wine never arrived, but it was put on the bill. It was busy so maybe that's why. Would still go back and highly recommend.

Amazing vegan organic restaurant. Great design and the best desserts in Bournemouth! The nut roast came with all the trimmings, very tasty and aromatic. The Dolce de Leche cheesecake was the best cheesecake ever! My friend had the berry crumble which was also amazing!

Everything is so tasty! Beautiful well presented meals! Perfect portion size, I intend to try something else at each visit so I don't miss out! I'll be returning soon! 💚

Walking into Twelve we were struck by the ambient music coupled with a low rumble of chatter and strong silence coming from the kitchen except for the chefs prepearing the food. The front of house staff were very perceptive greeting parties at the door, walking us through the menu and answering any questions we had in a way that shows care. The food was surreal at times leaving us wondering wether what we were eating was in fact vegan. Could not recommend this place enough!

Incredible food with knowledgeable staff to give insight into what was on the menu. Miami vibe interior clashed a bit with the rainy autumn weather but can imagine it being amazing in summer. Lovely cocktails too

What an amazing restaurant! We had heard that Twelve Eatery was worth visiting but I was sceptical about an all-vegan menu. How wrong I was! A fantastic evening from start to finish. Delicious cocktails to start followed by the highly rated pan seared king oyster 'scallops'. For our main meals we had the Mediterranean raw lasagna which is served cold but has incredible flavours and the roast 'chicken pie' with seasonal vegetables. For dessert it was a no-brainer to go for the dulcet de leche cheese cake which lived up to the heady expectations we had read about in reviews. The experience was topped off with the chance to talk to co-founders Daulton and Greg who were incredibly generous with their time on a busy evening to chat with us about their journey and the amazing food. Thank you so much. We will be back!!

My family and I came for my birthday meal and words can't explain how good Twelve Eatery really is. My girlfriend and I are vegan and had been dying to come here..it did not disappoint! It was really nice being in a place that shares the same way we feel about being vegan. I felt at home. The customer service from the gentleman (I'm so sorry I've forgotten your name!!) serving us was absolutely second to none. He explained the ethos of the restaurant in great detail as well as any questions about the menu we had. The food was astounding, as was the presentation. There is something on the menu for everyone, whether you're vegan or not and the atmosphere was really relaxed and laid back. Thanks so much guys. We'll be back again very soon!

My partner and I eat here whenever we want a nice treat meal out- incredible food every time, with lots of gluten free options for us (my partner is coeliac and has never had any issues eating here.) Highly recommend the vegetable lasagna and the vegan Camembert, but everything we’ve tried on the menu we’ve loved. Can’t recommend it enough!

Recently went to Twelve with a friend and oh my, the food was exquisite! The two owners, prepared made from scratch food, they both served, chatted to customers, advised. They knew their stuff! I have never tasted anything quite like it. Whether you are vegan or not (we are not) , GO! You will not regret it

The raw lasagne is unreal, the dulce de leche cheesecake quality. Really top notch food not even just vegan, friendly service, great kombucha which I usually dislike but got to be healthy as felt quite run down. Such a wicked place.

Really good restaurants. I had the mushroom scallops and the tofu and mushroom main. I have to say the scallops were amazing, I was really surprised with how good they looked and tasted. Wasn't super keen on the main, but can't hugely fault it as it's more my taste than the quality or anything. The Kombucha was nice too. Would really recommend going.

Absolutely phenomenal! The restaurant space itself it’s gorgeous, very comfortable and has a great vibe. Dalton who served us was so friendly and personable and you can see how passionate he is about Twelve which was lovely. And the food…oh the food!!! Every single dish was incredible, so much thought had gone into the ingredient combinations to create a host of glorious flavours on each plate. Hands down some of the greatest food we’ve ever had!!! Cannot wait to return and we will be recommending this fantastic eatery to everyone ❤️

Stepping in the atmosphere is great, lovely decor, gorgeous smell, lovely staff greeting, is vibrant yet relaxing. They are really passionate about their food and ingredients and really look after you. I've never eaten a wholly raw dish before then I had the vegan lasagna which was divine (room temperature), Puglia wine, mixed nuts and a cheesecake to finish it was amazing and I will come again.

I was in Bournemouth for the night and deliberately hadn't booked anywhere to eat. How lucky we were to find this absolute gem AND get a table! Many things sold it for me, but three key things that stood out the most were: 1) The enthusiasm energy, passion and friendliness of the two staff members who looked after us. They clearly have such a passion for the restaurant's food and values and this came across in a fun and approachable way and they got us really excited about the food too! 2) Their approach - all the food and drinks had been carefully chosen to meet their ideals of healthy and sustainable and tasty. 3) The tasty food, lagers and cocktails! The scallops, burrata, teriyaki tofu, cheesecake...YUM! Totally recommend.

Excellent venue. Very creative and intriguing dishes, I’m not even vegan but wanted to give this is a try based on a recommendation and was not disappointed at all. Ordered scallops and the Camembert starters and the steak for mains with cheesecake.

This is the most incredible SENSATIONAL restaurant you would’ve ever eaten at. If you’re a meat lover you will love every dish as though it is meat and if you’re Vegan and not a meat lover this is most definitely the best dining experience you would have ever experienced. FACTS!!!! Fantastic cocktails amazing dessert phenomenal food and staff are super friendly knowledgable and passionate. Please note I’m very sorry to show but it deserves being mentioned. The toilets are so clean and the hygiene factor in the gents means the toilet seat has handles.

We had a lovely meal. Crispy tofu was excellent as was the steak. Cheesecake was lovely and the chocolate tort was to die for. Probably one of my best pudding choices! Friendly, welcoming and interesting staff. A highlight was the AF champagne. We will return.

I solemnly swear, the Twelve Eeatery is simply incredible! The food is excellent, innovative and will dance seductively around your tastebuds. Plant-based food can be sexy in the end! Omnivores, trust me you won't miss a thing and will experience something different - for vegans like me and my partner, I'll boldly state with conviction that the Twelve Eatery will at some point in the future become a destination of culinary pilgrimage! The restaurant and menu are thought through to the last detail, you will enjoy an outstanding service and in addition, there is an interesting story to the enterprise (ask Dalton or Greg for more info)! I am living in London, but have been to the Twelve Eatery four times by now already - it is my favorite vegan restaurant and I go, whenever I am in the area! Every single person I've brought with me was astonished and revisited their opinion on vegan food. Thanks for making this possible, guys! As far as recommendations go, anything I tried so far was superb. But my highlights are the King Oyster 'Scallops', the Teriyaki Tofu on a bed of New Forest Mushrooms and the 'Cheese'cake. You'll also want try the Apricot Lager, it's too delicious to be true. Please, go there as often as you can - this restaurant deserves nothing but success!!

I had dinner here during my short visit in Bournemouth and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. From the ambient setting to the warm welcome from the owner and then of course the amazing rib-eyed steak, I recommend visiting this eatery when in the city.

First time for me and my boyfriend to eat in a vegan restaurant. It was delicious, if nobody tell you it's vegan you will not know. The owner make us try the Camembert it's was crazy as it was the same taste as the real one. The presentation of the food and the decoration are beautiful! I totally recommend this restaurant, you will love it for sure!

Myself and my partner came here whilst on holiday and had a fab time. Food and service was amazing. Had a great chat with the owner and felt really appreciated. Reccomend the teriyaki tofu 👌 10/10

I am an omnivore and Twelve has totally changed my mind about vegan food. I had the scallops to start which were sensational, followed by the burger which was full of interesting flavours and so packed with protein very filling. Even their chips are excellent! The dulce de leche cheesecake was heavenly! The service was great, friendly and very professional. It is a lovely small restaurant with great ambiance, we will definitely be returning! I highly recommend

Delicious vegan food and fabulous service.

Never again. Made me physically ill all night and the next day. Also husband was ill from it. Food tasted like glue, was a sticky guey mass, absolutely disgusting, even the "bread roll" wasn't proper bread but "gue" sticking to teeth, all a horrid taste. But i was brought up with manners so its obviously rude to tell the very hospitable staff this. I thought I'd be safe with the dessert, surely made of real fruit... but no... more glue like stodge, horrible bittiness... dread to think what we actually ate, were never asked if allergic to anything, no idea what food was made of. I was vegetarian for 15 years, which meant eating fresh fruit veg, healthy real food, not processed blobs. I didnt realise vegan is unhealthy processed stuff which i need to avoid for my kidney function, so very annoyed i wasnt told this. My diet is strictly non processed food, non salt, non sugar, (unless in fruit naturally). We felt it was deceptive the menu outside saying burgers etc all menu items sounded like real meat... why be vegan and want to eat something which looks and sounds like meat? Makes no sense... i never ate anything that looked remotely like meat when i was veggie, just healthy real freshly made, natural, non-processed food! Tanyrate, not knowing it was vegan we were led to seats inside where the ambience was lovely, by a very friendly pleasant man. Once we were settled we were told all food was plant based! Having been veggie for years i thought id try it, so my hubby and friend said ok. Hence we ate and i really wished we hadnt. I have never felt/been so physically sick after eating before as this. I refuse to let it spoil our day out so tried to forget it but it still bugs me so feel need share.

Just visited twelve after 3 years and it definitely didn't disappoint! Absolutely gorgeous food, gorgeous music and gorgeous atmosphere! Best vegan food I've had in ages! And the waiter was dishy too hahah! Thanks for a gorgeous evening 🥰

Great. I really like the poached pear and blue cheese salad for starters. The teriyaki tofu was lovely and truly tasty. The affagato was also great. Service was fairly prompt.

We drop by for dinner every time we're in Bournemouth and I swear Twelve get better every year! The raw lasagna was genuinely magical. Thank you and see you next time 🙂

The food was lush, the prices felt a little high, but the service was absolutely impeccable, the knowledge of the menu, food and drinks alike was absolutely astounding and made the whole experience very memorable.

What a find!! Found this place via Google maps when I was on a business trip. Delicious, delicious food and great ethos. Service was excellent and the menu unique. The food feels like lovely comfort food but you don't leave feeling bloated and it's all vegan! Creative and planet friendly combinations. It is expensive to say the least but I felt that it was a memorable meal therefore was happy to pay the price. I'm not sure if the price is due to cost of ingredients but if they could make it a little cheaper it would be even better as the food isn't necessarily *fine dining*, just really good quality home cooking?? I dunno. I'd probably still be happy to pay that much if I lived in the are on a regular basis though. The atmosphere was lovely and service very attentive. As a designer, I felt the interior wasn't in-keeping with the general vibe of the place and didn't really reflect the brand or the menu. Branding could be stronger? However, if the owners love it... What does it matter when the reviews evidently speak for themselves.

All I can say is go here if you like tasty & interesting food, as you don't have to be a vegan or vegetarian to appreciate it. Very happy to recommend and to revisit as it was all very tasty & very well presented.

Delicious food, really friendly staff and a brilliant atmosphere. The "camembert" starter was a particular highlight, also the Grapefruit Sherbet cocktail. I want to go back and try everything else now!

We had early dinner here. Had the raw lasagna, truffle tofu teriyaki dishes and cheese cake. All delicious. It's our second time going and was just as good as the first time. The owners are really nice and friendly. Looking forward to going back next time we are in the area.

Average tasted but well presented plant based food but for sure the place is overpriced. For 2 person, we paid £74! Without dessert :/
