The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

My husband and I dined here a couple of weeks ago on a Thursday. We had the Steak and Tapas menu where we had a selection of a few tapas starters which were absolutely delicious 😋 We then had the steak (which arrived on a board, cooked medium and sliced), served with vegetables, fries and a peppercorn sauce. This was amazing and cooked to perfection. Plates cleared and taken away, we had a 10 minute breather before embarking on our dessert selection. Again, we were not disappointed. 2 glasses of wine for my husband and 2 sparkling waters for myself ended the evening perfectly. Next time, we shall be there with friends. It really does have the wow factor and a huge asset to Otley. Bridget and Sam..........thank you so much for a wonderful evening

Not a great experience, the food was average! No atmosphere, the waitress was not very friendly or personable. Everything felt like a chore. Tapas Prawns were ok, salad, little gem and tomatoes with a few sunflower seeds, uninspiring and lacking taste. Albondigas (meatballs). Raw in the middle, I told the guy behind the bar, he just told the waitress to get the kitchen to get another, no apology or explanation! Second portion arrived, raw in the middle again. I returned them to the guy, he was nonplussed and said did I want something else. I did not. I would say don’t bother and I will not be returning or recommending.

Esta fue la quinta vez que he estado para el brunch sin fondo siempre una reserva a primera hora de la tarde entre la 1 pm y las 3 pm La comida era excelente como siempre, así como el servicio. Nuestra camarera Rebecca (disculpas si olvidé su nombre) nos cuidó y se aseguró de que siempre estábamos recargados Sin embargo, en esta ocasión y por alguna razón a los 15 minutos de la ambientación apareció un DJ y comenzó a tocar temas house y rave a máximos decibelios. Nos sentamos relativamente rápido dado lo ocupado que estaba en el momento de la visita. a la llegada nos preguntaron sobre alergias que es genial y nos preguntaron si habíamos estado antes que no lo habíamos respondido que no y nos sentamos. para nosotros diciendo al servidor que no habíamos estado antes no recibimos absolutamente ninguna orientación sobre cómo pedir nuestra comida, dónde obtener salsas o incluso cubiertos de. tuvimos que preguntar a un par en la mesa de al lado cómo pedir y que por alguna razón no nos dejaba pagar. intentamos marcar varios miembros del personal para asistencia y nos ignoraron. cuando la comida llegó nos preguntaron si necesitábamos algo a lo que pedimos cubiertos ya que todo lo que nos dieron fue nuestros platos y el servidor fue increíblemente grosero en su respuesta. ella nos dijo abruptamente 'es por allí ir a buscarlo usted mismo' entonces se alejó. esto es un servicio al cliente terrible. más tarde, alguien vino a preguntar cómo estaba nuestra comida. mi amigo que había visiblemente pollo crudo mal cocinado mencionó esto al miembro del personal en el que respondieron con 'así es como se pretende que se vea su bien' el pollo en mi plato de amigos era rosa y frío en el centro.

the staff were nice and impressively on it for such a busy restaurant, really impressive, can’t be an easy job. Not really sure what I expected in terms of the food, but not the wettest halloumi I’ve ever seen. Never seen halloumi wallow in its own crapulence before. Genuinely couldn’t face eating it. That said, again, the staff were brilliant and the place kept me comfortable and warm while I waited for my train.

Staff are slamming glasses onto the tables, no eye contact, one of them was carrying the glass with her fingers in it when I saw her. Dragging their feet and if you look at them they quickly look away, no care in the world for anything. I normally respect service staff because they go through a lot, but these lot need to go through school of common sense and manners.

Mr Anthony welcome us warmly. Took a good care of us, even helped us with the menu. I would reccomend

A very welcoming place to dine. The food was delicious and the service received from Stephanie and Josh was excellent. Happy hour is 5pm to 7pm, and the drinks offered are great value priced at 2 for 1.

Paid £30 to reserve a table, told to sit anywhere , when questioned why we didn't have a reserved table the person serving asked if we had a problem! ,very hostile attitude. we sat the same person threw the menus on the table , not a word spoken and then walked off. The place was dead - no atmosphere a couple of people sitting with laptops and no one eating, so didn't understand why they charged £30 to reserve a table ! we ordered food and drink at the bar, after looking at the delicious pictures online of the massive homemade Yorkshire puddings and lashings of gravy very much looked forward to it. What came back where 3 stone cold plates - even the gravy was cold, a bit of brown unidentifiable meat, slice of burnt cabbage, a couple of roasts and 2 obviously Aunt Bessie's Yorkshires, still frozen , we immediately sent all 3 plates back , and because of the attitude of the server said we had decided to leave , could we have a refund please? Went over to the till, upon we where asked what we had ordered and how much it was, I offered my card to receive the refund ( again as we had paid when we ordered ) and was snapped at for not understanding it doesn't work like that , after apologizing for not understanding the till arrangements in the establishment ! I was then told to leave you have your money back ! checked my account, no we don't so just told to email and it will be sorted, Not one word of an apology ! and ruining our day out - Avoid at all costs - Never been anywhere like it the staff are the rudest you could begin to imagine - they really should go and work on a doctors reception or something instead of contributing to why hospitality is on its knees !

Woodside Stores has been a good old fashioned sandwich shop for years. Even though it has recently changed ownership, quality and service have been consistent. It offers fantastic value for money and is worth a visit!

The Cosmopolitan is being refurbished, last time we were there for a Wedding, the food was sumptuous and the staff were friendly and helpful, we were entertained by The Chris White Jazz Trio who added a touch of class

Lite en leeds pedido en línea , entregó la mitad de la comida y la otra mitad se les olvidó , hablé con Ellie uno de los gerentes que era comprensivo pero no me respondió , luego hablé con Kelsey otro gerente ella era grosera con una voz levantada dura , pensando que es una miss know it all , actitud horrenda hacia alguien que solo quería respuestas. Tardé más de 2 semanas en devolverme mi reembolso por la comida que no se entregó. ¡No iremos a esta sucursal pronto! ¡No hay atención al cliente!

Tuvimos que pedir dos veces tazas para nuestras bebidas y subimos al mostrador, todo siendo ignorado por el personal. Luego esperamos una hora a que nuestra comida saliera con la única explicación que se ofrecía era que había una ‘mezcla’ en la cocina. La única compensación que nos ofrecieron fue algo de perinaise gratis.

The chicken strips were undercooked, the fries were cold. The worst part was when the boss Naveed started shouting and became severely aggressive with the situation , he could not contain himself. After requesting another portion of fries and properly cooked chicken strips , Naveed denied my request even though the chicken was clearly raw in the middle. I won’t be coming back again . Never seen such a disrespect owner .
