Lite in leeds online order , delivered half of the food and the other half they forgot , I talked to Ellie one of the managers who was understanding but didn’t get back to me , then I spoke to Kelsey another manager she was rude with a harsh raised voice , thinking she’s a miss know it all , horrendous attitude towards someone who just wanted answers. Took over 2 weeks to give me back my refund for the food that wasn’t delivered. Won’t be going to this branch any time soon ! No customer care !!

First time ever trying nandos!!!! The restaurant is situated in the light mall which has a few different restaurants in it. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had the beanie wrap/pitta and it was delicious!! Not bad value for money either.

I had an outstanding experience with Stuart’s service here at Nandos The Light. He demonstrated exceptional professionalism and a keen attention to detail. I am thoroughly impressed with his dedication. Highly recommend Stuart for anyone seeking top-notch service!

Went on 17/12/23 1.36pm host Jess as per receipt. As soon as we entered there was the most miserable girl as a greeter. People were coming and walking away as she could not be even bothered, reminded me of someone hungover. When we got in we didn’t receive our food for half an hour. Tables that came in after us got their food and when we questioned staff he disappeared saying he will find out. We just had to sit and wait. Wished we had walked away too. The food that we got did not match our order stated 2 butterfly pieces again asked someone disappeared we had to go over yet again and ask again, and the woman stated the one piece is classed as 2 as it is a butterfly with 2 wings like wth? She said this and went. So then they decided not to come anywhere near our table to ask about anything. Nor how our meal is.Missed our paid peronaise. We left quick too. Nando’s is one of the places you go to and the service is brilliant but I would strongly urge you go somewhere else. The one in Liverpool is brilliant they know how to look after customers. Usually go to the one out of town centre but walking distance across from bus station. Leeds the light absolute shambles weren’t even that busy!

It was my first time at Nando's and the experience was fantastic. Especially the black girl, I think her name is Jess, who went to my table several times to ask if everything was ok with my food or if I needed anything. She explained the menu and helped me choose my food. Very friendly and attentive. I went back to the restaurant and I hope to find her there again!

As in all Nandos, the team are great, polite, cheerful and accommodating. Food usual good Nandos, we were told we would have to wait 210 minutes but it was less, seated and ordered straight away. Most of the staff were young but you couldn't fault the, commendation to them all xxx

I regularly visit this restaurant. For a Nando’s it has a personal feel. Chris, unsure of your title but I’ll call you the boss, isn’t what I call a typical Scouser, but one of the friendliest members of staff. Nothing is too much and he’s always willing to get his hands dirty. A true gentleman and asset! Where do I start with Isabelle from Co Durham! She is amazing. A true welcoming breath of sunshine! I’m always made to feel like a Rockstar when she’s in. Superb Customer Service!!!

I’ll start by saying I have NEVER reviewed anything online until now. I’ve eaten inside this restaurant many times and not had any issues until tonight. Ordered on Deliveroo at about 6:30pm and wait time kept going up. After 2 hours, I called to find out what was going on and a male manager, who was apologetic at this point, said there was a driver issue and they had been in touch with Deliveroo to sort this. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited even longer. AN HOUR later, driver updates kept changing and still nothing. I called the restaurant again and a lady answered the phone and said I’ll get my manager to find out for you. I was on hold for 5 minutes and nobody came back to the phone. I assume she left the phone to wait for me to hang up so she didn’t have to deal with it. I called from a different number and she picked up again. I explained I was not at all happy and said I knew she’d left the phone on purpose (she didn’t deny this either). She then said, I’ll have to get a manager. Again, left on hold for a few more minutes. A manager came to the phone with no apologies this time and I said I wanted my money back. She said this wasn’t possible directly through them. I said it wouldn’t allow me to do this on the app so they need to sort it from their end. This was at 9:20pm so almost 3 HOURS from ordering. I was told they would call Deliveroo who may then contact me. A driver then called and asked if our food had arrived and I said no, we’ve cancelled the order. He said the restaurant never contacted Deliveroo as the drivers were still assigned to it. What a joke honestly!! Having worked in hospitality myself and used Deliveroo myself as a member of staff, I can’t believe how this was dealt with. Disgusting customer service - especially from the last 2 phone calls with the female staff!

I ordered online for click and collect. When to nandos however my orde was not on the system. I had 20mins left to open my fast, the manager put my order on the system again and got my food ready. She gave deserts to me and my sibling on the house. She also gave dates to eat when we open our fast. The staf kept apologising. Thank you for sorting my order out and for the desserts. Very friendly staff.

Having visited various Nando’s before, we knew what to expect. Service was quick enough, however, it was let down by the tough butterfly chicken.

The food was amazing, and the service was even better, our waiter Tom was excellent and gave us the best experience even though we came at a busy time. He gave great customer service and was very friendly and welcoming. Will be coming again.

We had such a great experience with Ismail being our waiter he made us feel so comfortable and kept checking on us if we were in need of anything . Such a wonderful person with a great aura .

We popped in last minute before our cinema visit and waited a short while for a table as they were busy but we were quickly seated and were served by the nicest guy. Ishmael came to check we managed the online ordering and food came super fast, he was super friendly and nice and made us feel really welcome in Nando’s. We chatted a little about how hard this season has been for restaurants. It’s my upmost hope that all customers would treat you amazing staff with respect it’s been such a tough time for you. My partner and I ate at the light and it was a bit of a disappointment. Chips luke warm, chicken in my wrap dry and tasteless. Got to say it was a shock as always been perfect before at every nandos.

Visited this place last week and enjoyed the food as always you know what to expect with nandos. The service was quick and easy using the phone to order. Can't fault the staff or restaurant would happily visit again.

Lovely, friendly staff. The social distancing was handled very well with a good queuing system. The food arrived in good time and tasted great. I would definitely recommend for a casual day out :).

21 Feb in this Nando's I ordered and paid for a QUARTER of a chicken. My friend ordered a half chicken. She got a leg and 2 pieces of chicken breast. I got 1 skinny leg. When I queried the maths of the situation the waiter said. 'well I know it might not be fair, but its how they cut it up, it's quite random - some people get a leg and breast, some people only the leg. ' WTH???? I have a pic which I have posted below ...

I was there for a late lunch with my family and what can I say staff very friendly and food is tasty. You have to come here to try.

Literalmente lo peor. De Nando Siempre. . .Les preguntamos si todavía estaban sirviendo a las 10:30 cuando entramos a comer algo. El caballero de la puerta fue muy acogedor y nos sentó a nuestra mesa.Una vez que elegimos nuestras comidas, cuando ordené, me dijeron que no tenían más que alas y pollo mariposa. Me decepcionó, pero pregunté si, en lugar de hacer muslos en el fino pitta, podían hacerlo con la mariposa. Me dijeron que no, pero podría tener un pitta en el costado. Me aseguró que comeríamos ensalada con nuestras comidas para compensar la falta de comida que tenían disponible, pero era simplemente una SOLA hoja de lechuga. Cuando cuestionamos esto, el camarero simplemente dijo que podríamos pagar una ensalada completa, pero que no podríamos tener más.Broma absoluta: deberíamos haber sido avisados de que no había stock / stock limitado cuando llegamos.Las mesas estaban sucias, los baños estaban sin mantenimiento y asqueroso, había comida en el interior de los menús que era asqueroso.En serio, si te gusta Nando, no vengas aquí.

The waitress was really pretty 😍 she gave me the eye and I loved it. But the food gave me chlamydia and killed my cat.now I am pregnant with quadruples, with aids. Also hitler happened so??? Just saying ygm

Decent Nando's - food didn't take too long to arrive and food was tasty. Unfortunately one of my friends found avocado skin in her food though, so not ideal. She didn't complain though - so could have been rectified if asked, recommend being a little more careful with food prep!

La comida es buena pero es muy normal, no hay nada que gritar. Probablemente, lo mejor es que no suele estar demasiado ocupado, por lo que no estará esperando una mesa.

As usual the quality is consistently good and staff were polite and friendly. Wish that my chicken portion had been a little bigger, but I pinched some of my husbands.

I visited this Nando’s after my long shopping trip at Leeds trinity. Which meant me and my family were starving, we waited for over an hour for the food to arrive (it wasn’t even busy) and the chicken was very dry. As a fond visitor of Nando’s I know my chicken and that was horrible. I drowned it in sauce but to no avail it still was dry. Will definitely not be coming again because of the terrible service and dry chicken!

I visited this Nando’s last week for my date night and everything seemed normal.My date ordered butterfly chicken and when it arrived the waiter said “do you want any sauce” my date said no thank you and the waiter said “no take it u fussy nobhead”I straight away said “excuse me” and the waiter slowly whispered in my ears “I killed Micheal Jackson” at this point I was totally freaked out and decided to leave without eating along with my date, as I reached the entrance I slipped on some white sauce and shouted “what the hell” I turned around and the waiter was there with a smug grin on his face and said “muah ha ha ha u thought it would be easy to get away sugertits” I then ran the fastest I could to McDonald’s and never returned.

The title says it all, we ordered our food us usual however me and my friend completely forgot about the drinks and wanted to go back to the bar to order some. Unfortunately no one was there at that point because the member of staff who took our food order was cleaning some tables while other female blonde member was following him in every step. When they both finally went behind the bar we found them quite upset when we tried to interrupt their chat in order to get some drinks. I have many friends who would love to do this job and would have much more respect towards the work place..... It is a shame honestly cuz the food was amazing!

I have never in my life been served such awful food! Dried up chicken NO salad!!!! Roll so hard you couldn’t cut it!! Sweet potatoe fries were equally inedible! Manager was polite in his defence that’s why I scored a 1 and not a 0!

Went in yesterday, five of us at a very quiet 5:00pm. (Wanted a quick meal before going to the theatre.)There seemed to be an array of staff behind the counter but no one acknowledged us until someone mentioned we were waiting. Then we were asked to wait while the table we would be sitting at was cleared. The waitress took a few plates away, then went and seated several other customers and had another chat with some other staff. If staff weren’t so busy flossing and chatting then we’d have been happy to have eaten here as a large group of 5...

Visited on NYD, and they couldn’t supply all the first choice menu items. There were 8 of us, and the food varied quite considerably. My chicken (double breast burger-medium) was dry and lacked flavour. We had to sit outside and it was cold so the food cooled very quickly. We shan’t be hurrying back.

The food was ok, not great . What I didn’t like was that on top of the price mentioned in their menu they add tax. It should be included in the menu price.

I cant believe the attitude of staff. I saw the burgers being delivered from kitchen to the bar, waiting to be completed with sides. Staff just missed them several times and gave priority to other orders that came later. Children waiting and impacient looking at their burgers being sidelined for 10 minutes. No apology from staff when asked why.

This is the second time I’ve tried Nando’s for vegan food and it’s great!

Came here as a birthday visit for my nephew! Loved every bit of it was served so well, even had a little treat. Would definitely recommend! The food is so yummy and their cheesecakes are amazing!! Deffo returning

Consistent Nando’s fare but my favourite Nando’s in the Leeds as it’s better laid out in a larger restaurant and therefore a more pleasant eating experience.

Fuimos al mostrador y los dos nos sirvió Neasha, que era tan encantadora, con una sonrisa enorme y una actitud acogedora. ¡Esto hizo que la experiencia mía y de mis amigos fuera muy agradable ya que amamos a los nandos! ¡Neasha deffo merece una promoción de algún tipo, literalmente, el mejor servidor de clientes que he tenido!

They got my order wrong a few times and they compensated me for the inconvenience. The young manager type person was great. The staff serving at tills are friendly. This place is halal. This Nando's is in a lovely building.

Felt so disappointed to find that the original vegi burger has been replaced by 2 new burgers. Stopped eating at nandos as the new burgers are not nice. Really miss and crave the old vegi burgers

Came to Nando’s with the lads, they didn’t have any chicken thighs or butterfly chicken. Poor service and poor choice to choose from. Also no choice between halal and regular chicken. Not happy. The lady serving also assumed I was Spanish, and served me in Spanish - I’m English!!!

Estive neste restaurante apenas uma vez. Sou cliente habitual do NANDOS mas a este local definitivamente nao volto. Apesar de a hora que fomos jantar o restaurante se encontrar com poucos clientes, podemos reparar que as mesas se encontravam sujas. A comida veio morna quase fria e parecia que o frango tinha sido aquecido, bem como o arroz.

called today for evening meal, it was busy but soon seated and order taken. Girl on till, very patient and kind, all staff very Nivea really, food usual chicken and it, I had sweet potato and butternut burger, won't have it again, starters we ordered 3 together but all came separate, annoying. otherwise good meal rest of the party enjoyed theirs.

We have visited here a few times, food is consistant that is why we return, we know what we are getting, can get a little busy, but that is atmosphere.

The staff in here are always so attentive & helpful everytime i have been here; even in the busier periods so well done to the management team for overseeing such great staff members.

I often like to look for a brand I feel comfortable with and I don't feel much more comfortable than with a Nando's OK, so the ordering can be a bit confusing when you first visit but thats only a small issue.

Not one to go to nando's often. But the chicken was very tasty. Roasted vegetable portion and side salad were too small for the extra price, expected more. Service was average. Table next to us was not cleared when we arrived and only sorted as we left. Food was good, but not worth the charge for the sides. Think my view on Nandos hasn't changed, won't be my first choice but would return if in a group

Went for a quick meal before a night out. Quickly shown to a table by friendly staff. Ordered food came out quickly and was delicious. Only issue is one of our sides didn’t come to the table and it took the manager to find it. Otherwise what you would expect from Nando’s!

James the manager who was working fri evening the 27th was very helpful and professional. It was my first time visiting nandos since I have become a coeliac so I was a bit apprehensive. James went above and beyond to ensure my allergy needs were met. He was well informed on cross contamination and even stopped what he was doing to take my order at the till to ensure allergy was passed to kitchen. Very impressed and no ill effects. Definitely be back :)

Good food and good service, however the portion are smaller in comparison to other Nando’s I’ve been around the world !

My friend and I came here after seeing the XFactor tour at First Direct Arena. It was nice to find somewhere still serving food gone 10pm! We were not waiting too long to be seated or for our meals! Staff were friendly and attentive. If I had to nit pick - I thought one of the waiters could have told my friend that the olives were "not free" a bit nicer. I know that seems obvious but there were not on the menu or had a price label with them, on the ordering desk. Other Nandos stores have served meals which haven't been very filling in the past but I can't say that this time. I had a quater of chicken with lemon and lime herbs with a lovely pea and avacado side and peri chips = delish. Plenty of chips too which I thought was pleasantly unusual. I would come here again when I next visit Leeds!

This branch delivers on the Nando experience which is the same as any other and does it well. With its location, it’s a busy branch, so even on an early Friday evening we had to wait for a table. We had a 20 minute wait for a table and a bit of a wait for food but given how busy it was not too bad.

Seated quickly, ordered and food arrived in a decent time. Food was superb no faults chicken was cooked to perfection.

Stopped off for meal with family after a day in Leeds - service was good - it was busy. Easy to order the food at the till and it arrived super quick - you go and collect your cutlery and different level of hot Nando sauces. Bottomless soft drinks which is great for the kids. Prices are very reasonable and it’s worth a visit!

Since my last visit to this branch, a few years have passed.... We had time to kill before visiting the cinema, we tried Nando's... what can I say? this is how it should be.... it was busy, which is a good sign, there was a buzz around the place, the staff seemed on the ball and were very welcoming, the food didn't take long which was good as we had tickets for a film showing.... the chicken livers were great, cooked correctly with adequate flavouring... the chicken was tasty... yes yes nando's chicken is seasoned well but I have experienced poor quality in Nando's chicken before, I have also experience burnt chicken and over grilled chicken.... on this occasion the chicken was juicy and had a good char on it..... return inevitable as I now no longer fear an in-edible nanny's before watching a film.. thumbs up... keep up the good work.

Dropped in at short notice. Plenty of room and a quick welcome from the staff before showing us to a table. Ordering process was easy and the olives were second to none. Chicken butterfly for main course. Cooked quickly and to perfection the choice of Piri-spices ensures you have a meal to your own taste. Very little difference to any other Nando’s but one I’d certainly visit again.

Great restaurant for meeting up with family and friends. Food offerings are terrific. Healthy choices with outstanding flavor.

Although we had to queue for a table, the wait was worthwhile. The chicken was moist and very tasty. The staff were professional, attentive and polite considering the pressure they were under. We will certainly go again.

Quick service, close to cinema and other amenities. Food is great, well it is nandos. Always a winner for couples and family.

4 of us decided a quick lunch visit. My colleague had chicken livers and said it was great. 2 others has chicken butterflies. I had previously tried the chicken butterfly already but last minute decided upon the chicken thighs instead. The boneless thighs were more succulent as the chicken butterfly breasts were drier.

Was hungry yesterday so went for some quick dinner. Staff was good & friendly. Chicken & Chips was piping hot & fresh. Saw the staff checking the temperatures of all the hot foods & cold foods!! Bathroom was nice & clean. Would go again.

Highly recommended for a quick bite to eat. Prices (like other Nando restaurants) is good value for money.

We went for a lunch, the chicken is halal and it is near to where I live. We go for a wrap chicken with chips and rice. It is like a take away resturant as you have to order and pay and then they will bring it to your table. In Kuwait it is a menu restaurant which I hope it the same here and variety of dishes. My order was delicious: the chicken was boneless skinless as I love it to be. But the next time I will take it to my home and eat it there because I did not like the atmosphere.

Always go to nandos and I always love to go I think the food is fantastic but the speed of the service in here is slow. The lighting in here is awful too.

On a visit to the theatre we first called at Nandos. This was a request from my granddaughter.We were going to see Mamma Mia at Leeds Grand. The food was OK chicken a bit dry, we could have had it exchanged but we're in a little rush. We told them we were on a visit to the theatre and the service was excellent. So on reflection I'll give 5 stars.

Quick bite to eat before The Specials in Millennium Sq quite a small Nando's in a very smart & trendy food mall, two boneless chicken breasts x 2 one extra hot, fries, rice & garlic bread meal deal £25 waitress very good soon replaced the very hard garlic bread.

Portabello mushroom and halloumi pitta was really tasty - served with sweet potato wedges. Being a vegetarian I've always stayed away from Nandos thinking they just served chicken - but I'm glad to say I was wrong. Service was good too.

Constantly good food. something for all the family. Fun sides. My daughter loves the mash and goes extra hot. I like a salad with hot chicken and hubby enjoys medium spice with healthy side's So we all happy.

So i have been going to Nandos since i was a child and moving to England i must say i was very happy to find a little piece of home here. We took a friend there to celebrate her wedding as she had never been before and wanted ti try i t after all she was marrying an African man. the chicken was cooked to perfection. there was nothing to fault and once the staff knew it was their wedding celebration they gave her extra chicken on the house. since then she likes Nandos

Went to Nando's at the Light pre theatre, had a fantastic meal. The staff were amazing and it was great value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend!

This was my first visit to Nandos, and I wasn't impressed. My daughter and I went on a Wenesday at teatime, the restaurant was not busy and we were shown to a table quite quickly. The place was cold, the table was sticky and our order (2 burgers, fries and soft drinks) came to over £25 which I thought was expensive.The fries were cold and we asked them to swap them for fresh ones. Instead, they took our plates away and the burgers were then cold by the time they brought everything back! We were limited for time or I would have asked for a refund and gone somewhere else.The burgers were ok, my daughter is a fussy eater and they got her order right first time, which some places struggle with. It was below average, for something I expected might be good.The staff seemed pleasant but not very engaged ... I won't be returning any time soon.

The place is cold, the service in very slow. I waited 45 min for a salad and the restaurant was not so busy. It was very difficult to find something that they had to order. Never again!

We went for dinner last week with friends, a good experience, the half chicken was excellent and so full of flavour. Service was fast and a good vibrant atmosphere, will be back!
