We had the Thursday Special at £45 for two including a couple of glasses of wine. It was all excellent, especialy the steak with patas bravas and the cheese to finish - excellent value

I held my hen do party at tapas and tunes on Saturday 24th August 2024 ...what a wonderful afternoon we had. My experience could not have run any smoother with the hosts Bridget and Sam from booking months ago ...helpful ....attentive ..organised just what I wanted... I held it in the upstairs room 16 ladies ...the food was superb and drinks on arrival best sangria I have had in a long time ....well stocked bar which was good for a hen do ....music stage and disco ball supplied ...terrific value for money would highly recommend....this is first time I've been but will definitely be back but next time with my fiance after the big day .. Thank you for making my girls day special 💗

Popped in here on the of chance, we were pleasantly surprised, the choice of food, the cafe was a great find for us just needing a light lunch Our choices were Chorizo Pintxos and Potatoe and Onion Spanish Omelette The omelette takes as while as it’s cooked to order, the food was very tasty, the only down side that there too much to look at on the “specials board” Staff very polite and attentive, would go back if in the area

Visited for the first time on Friday 9th August 2024. Very relaxed atmosphere. Super friendly head waiter greeted us and started extolling the virtues of his wife's cooking. He wasn't wrong! Lovely meal and great service. I'd definitely return!

We booked on the day It was full and was offered a bar table for two not realising what it meant. We arrived slightly early only to find out that the table was actually a raised table with high chairs sitting side by side facing a wall. We turned it down but was offered a table outside. It was slightly cold but we decided to accept and stay. The surroundings were not pleasant not really suitable for outside dining. The food was just above average for Tapas. The owner and he son were very pleasant. Generally good service We had five different Tapas and shared a dessert, also a glass of 125mls white wine a glass of fruit juice and a bottle of alcohol free beer The cost came to £62.64 including service charges. We thought the price was high for the food in Otley.

Found this lovely place by accident, and so glad we did! Amazing authentic Spanish food, lunch deal is fabulous value. Everything we had was delicious, probably up there with some of the best tapas we have had including Spain. Wish we lived nearer!

Our first visit and wont be our last, all our party really enjoyed the tapas, very tasty and good portions. Service was excellent too, one of us said best meal this year so far and difficult to beat!! WOW

First visit here for lunch and we were blown away with how good it was. We ordered 6 different tapas dishes from the lunch specials that came with a free drink. Complimentary bread and dips came first then gradually each of our choices arrived. Everything was great, the meatballs were amazing and on a par or better than ones I have had in Spain! The portions were great, previous reviewers mentioning them have obviously never been to Spain or understood the concept of small plates. It was amazing value with great service, get yourself down there.

We had been looking forward to going here for some time. However, after appalling service we won't be back. Why do restaurants believe that if they're busy it's OK to provide terrible service? We arrived @6pm on a Saturday night. Table of 5. We ordered our food and it was only after waiting for some considerable time, we asked where our dishes were. Some time later we were told they'd run out of the dish. Why did they take the order for a dish they no longer could provide and why did we have to ask where the food was before we found out it wasn't coming?? We ordered replacement food and after a very long time we gave up waiting and left hungry and disappointed. We won't return. Oh and they didn't have live music.

Great little addition to Otley's restaurants, great food, different specials and choice always changing.

Had a lovely evening, the food was exquisite, mussels were spot on and the charcuterie board was very good indeed. The staff are nice and the owner seems to really care. Only issue was an obnoxious man threatening bad reviews despite having happily eaten everything. People like that spoil the ambience for everyone. Thankfully he has never been in when I've been there before. And I hope he will not be there again. A real gem and definitely worth a visit. Thanks TnT

Amazing Spanish food (Im Spanish and very fussy with food). Bridget and her team made a great work with the food and service. Great Spanish beer, Estrella, to go with it and lucky to have the talented Mestisa with Latinoamerican music provided with perfect atmosphere and fun! A jewel in the centre of Otley!

The food was delicious plenty to choose from. We shared our dishes between the two of us. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Ordered the Patatas Bravas (V) as a dish to share with my vegetarian partner, only to be told after enquiring of a meaty taste that it is cooked in the same oil as the Calamares and Choritzo. Should have told us you were vegetarian, was the answer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our delightful tapas here. Both imaginative new dishes and classic small dishes were delicious and served by friendly welcoming staff.

Fabulous atmosphere upstairs. Great food whilst watching guitarist playing Flamenco music

Fab!! Came with a group for a hen party and we LOVED our meal and drinks. Excellent value and delicious, will definitely come again and would recommend to anyone looking for tapas in Otley.

Thank you Bridget for accommodating us on Mother’s Day at short notice. Oh my, did we enjoy the delicious food. Every dish perfectly cooked and presented. First visit to Tapas and Tunes for my daughter and son but I think they’ll be back soon.

Although I was on my own on a Saturday early evening I was made very welcome - and not seated outside the toilets either. Food was great again and staff attentive and helpful. I was even assured that I didn’t need to rush off to free up the table. I will be back and highly recommend on your own or with a group. It is preferable to book though as it rightly gets very busy.

My favourite eating place in Otley. I am vegetation and find their tapas fresh and varied. I just wish they were open more.

First rate place. Strongly recommended. Great Spanish food so authentic it was extraordinary to be told that chef is not Spanish. The berenjenas were amazing - best we’ve had outside Spain. Fourth visit and will certainly be back.

A hidden gem! Popped in for lunch, looking forward to visiting again on a music night. Had tempura calamari which was cooked to perfection along with a tasty paella. My wife really enjoyed her chicken sandwich and the brocoli & stilton soup was perfect. We definitely recommend!

The quality of the food and service is good but unfortunately let down by the portion size. The cost/ portion and quality does not compare to a family run tapas restaurant in the city centre. Unfortunately we wouldn’t visit again unless this was readdressed - shame.

Sad to say very disappointing, it was our first visit to this restaurant, the portion sizes are crazy small for the price, 4 adults £180 and we left hungry, we won’t be returning I’m afraid, I know times are hard but 3 meatballs for £8 and 3 dates for £7.95 not great value.

Great choice of tapas to suit all tastes. The cheese was especially good. Relaxed atmosphere. Lovely wines. Recommend to us by a local lady. Well looked after, left happy and pleasantly full.

LOVED the food and what great hosts. We booked at the last minute so there was limited availability (which is usually a good sign). We were not disappointed. Great food, hospitality and setting. There was live music on this evening which we unable to attend but given the opportunity to see the venue. We will be returning and recommending to others. We’ve no photos to share because the food wasn’t on the table long enough to take a picture.

We had a delicious lunch, fantastic flavours and the portions were perfect. We had the lunch set menu which had a good range of dishes to choose from and was a great way to try a few different things. Very reasonably priced. We particularly enjoyed the calamari and the patatas bravas. And the cauliflower with harissa and pomegranate. Also, the olives were amazing! We enjoyed it all! We had a lovely table by the window, and the service was really friendly and prompt. Highly recommended

Came here with my mum for lunch on a Saturday. It was very quiet- just us at first and then midway through our meal a couple joined. That suited us well though. The food was amazing and really reasonably priced. In particular, the halloumi with pea and mint guacamole was gorgeous. We also really enjoyed the broccoli with almonds and the houmous with tabbouleh, tomatoes and pomegranate molasses. The chicken and chorizo paella was very good as well. Good sized portions but not massive. We didn't get dessert and later wished we had as were a bit peckish not long after (also the desserts sounded lovely)

I’ve been trying to contact them for several days in order to make a reservation. The website indicates that they are open. However the online booking system was unresponsive, an email booking attempt was ignored and calls were unanswered, with no voicemail system in place. I passed the restaurant today and saw a sign displayed saying they were closed for a holiday. Why couldn’t their website, phone service and email system have been set up to inform people that they were closed. Not everybody who may wish to use this restaurant walks past their door regularly. This business needs to have a more professional, customer friendly communication system in place.

First visit, booked for 11am brunch. Atmosphere and space is nice. Food took 45 mins to arrive, only 2 other customers. I had a hunger headache by then. Food was ok but overall a bit disappointing.

As a party of three, we booked a table for lunch. The venue looks tiny from the front. However it is like a TARDIS once inside. It is tastefully decorated, with comfy chairs. The ladies chose from the lunchtime menu. Choosing Calamari to start with and Paella as their main. I went off the main menu. Choosing Boquerones, pain a tomato, Gamberone a ajillo, then the slow cooked lamb. All enjoyed with a bottle of White Rioja. The service was excellent even though it was relatively quiet. The only down side is at present it only opens Thursday to Sunday. But with quality food like this. It's popularity will increase.

Fantastic evening, was recommended by friends to visit this little gem of a restaurant .. the place is really stylish, staff welcoming & service spot on .. Menu is really comprehensive with a selection of really good Pinxtos & Tapas standards .. BUT .. our favourites had to be the Specials board with delicious Lamb & Beef dishes. Lamb in Apricots & Almonds was to die for .. our friends had a Steak sharer board cooked to perfection .. 2 jugs of traditional Sangria , yes with a traditional Brandy Schnapps & Cointreau included , went down very well .. After eating downstairs we caught the Jazz band that we’re playing in the Upstairs restaurant..Speaking to staff they have really great live music regularly in the upstairs restaurant All in all the perfect evening & would highly recommend it

My partner & I ate here last night after a recommendation having moved up from London. I have to say the trip to Otley from Roundhay was worth it. Absolutely fabulous food and attentive service. Some of the best tapas we've tasted (apart from Seville (close though) - but that's not a fair comparison, really). We particularly liked the Baked Camembert and the Tortilla Espanola. We can also highly recommend the Dark & Stormy cocktail! I've read some reviews here where people think it's expensive. Let me tell you, coming from London, you guys up here don't know how lucky you are. We thought it was really good value, and it had a great ambience. We'll be back again, that's for sure.

After hearing such good reviews left disappointed. Really small portions for the price limited veggie options. Lacking in flavour expected so much more from here. Not sure we would visit again.

Tapas and Tunes is amazing. We rented the room upstairs for a private function. Bridget was brilliant, very attentive, listened to everything we wanted and executed it really well. We chose our buffet food and wanted most of it to be gluten free. Bridget went out of her way (along with the chefs) to ensure that even dishes that weren't normally GF, were made specially for us. Could not recommend them highly enough. Thank you so much!

Little bit disappointed I have to say, very small portions even for tapas and quite pricey for what it was. Tiny little place meaning you can't go to the toilet or get up without being on top of other diners.
