We used to go before it changed hands but went on 12/5/25 where very impressed with the new decor and the food was excellent and very reasonable spoke to the owner and chef and told him how good the was and there was that much we couldn't finish it will definitely be going again,if anyone in the area give it a try you won't be disappointed

The guys at Istanbul are just great! The chilli sauce is absolutely amazing, and the homemade lamb doner is top quality. The salad is a delicious mix of leafy greens and satisfying crunch—always fresh and well-balanced. I usually go for the Chicken Special and the Mega Burger, and most of the time, it’s been an excellent experience. On the rare occasion there’s been a hiccup, the team has been quick to put things right and even offer compensation. That level of customer service really stands out and gives me confidence every time I order. Top marks for great food and genuine care—these guys keep me coming back! We had an amazing meal at Zen last night. The food was incredible, probably the best Thai Green Curry I’ve ever had. Everything tasted unreal and I’d happily eat it all over again. We were only in Birmingham for the evening and we’d recommend it to anyone!

Chicken served cold. Female manager had a cudnt careless attitude. Chicken was replaced. She shudve offered to replaced the whole meal . Chips were cold by time chicken was re done. And she forgot my salad had to ask waitress where it was

First visit and it’s just great ! Superb relaxing ambience, feels like you’re in Dubai. Service is quick and the guys are very sociable. Made us feel very welcome. Shisha is tops. Will defo be back and can highly recommend.

The presentation and taste of the food are first class. Attention to detail is excellent. The team are very attentive to all of your needs and are also very knowledgable about everything on the menu. How this gem of a restaurant doesn’t have a Michelin star is beyond me.

Estaba solo, pero estoy familiarizado con el diseño. Pedí papas fritas Holybush speacil balti con papas fritas, por supuesto. La comida era preciosa, llegó muy rápido, varias mesas llenas diciendo cómo estaban disfrutando de su comida como yo también. Gran servicio, ambiente encantador, muy dispuesto a ir de nuevo.

Vinieron a tomar el té de la tarde y ciertamente reservaron a través de un cupón sobre vivir en redes sociales, pero no fue bueno, por decir lo menos. A pesar de que reservamos dos semanas antes no tenían registro de la reserva. Éramos las únicas personas en el restaurante y cuando le mostré al caballero el vale en mi teléfono parecía inseguro de ello y estaba muy preocupado si necesitábamos pagar un suplemento de £ 5 cada uno en lugar de comprobar su reserva. Volvió tres veces. Me había llevado a mi marido por su cumpleaños y fue extremadamente embarazoso! Nos ofrecieron un cóctel que era agradable, a pesar de que la imagen prometía una bebida gaseosa. Cuando la comida llegó después de una espera muy larga nos quedamos decepcionados. 1 . Se suponía que teníamos que haber presentado sándwiches abiertos como en la foto. Se nos presentó pan tan seco que se enrollaba en los bordes, que consistía, Atún mayo, queso y pepinillo, huevo y mayonesa y carne de res y rábano picante cortado en dedos. No es lo que pensábamos que serviría en algún lugar como el Hyatt; quizás más acorde con un café de la ciudad. El mismo cuchillo había sido utilizado para cortar todos los sándwiches, así que tuvimos que encurtirlos todos. Estaban vestidos con dos hojas. 2 . Los pasteles estaban bien, pero la pannacotta era líquida y no nos dieron una cuchara para comerlo. Tuvimos que verterlo en nuestras cucharas de té ya utilizadas con nuestras bebidas calientes. 3 . Los bollos estaban deliciosos y calientes, pero solo nos dieron crema y sin mermeladas. Tuvimos que esperar hasta encontrar a alguien y pedirlo. Parecían sorprendidos y dijeron ‘¿oh, tú también quieres mermelada? 4 . El té que tomé era bueno, pero mis maridos café se le sirvió negro (sin oferta de un café con leche, etc) y era terrible, él lo dejó. La única parte buena de la experiencia fue nuestra camarera que era dulce y se esforzó al máximo. En general, esta experiencia fue una vergüenza, ya que había tomado a mi marido como un regalo. Visitamos regularmente Qavali y el hotel du Vin cerca y son en comparación excepcional. La ironía es que llevé a toda mi familia a almorzar el día de Navidad y había contemplado a Aria. Nunca volvería a ir allí de nuevo basado en esta experiencia

We got married here 13 years ago and had fantastic food and service then but for some unknown reason we have never returned-until tonight. It was hubby’s 70th birthday and so as we had an appointment later in Telford we decided to revisit Butlers at the Park House Hotel on a Monday evening in July. Despite previous reviews about slow service, we found the staff extremely attentive and we weren’t kept waiting huge amounts of time for any courses. The food was all extremely nice, well cooked, tasty and very reasonably priced in today’s economic climate. It appears many restaurants now have limited opening times during early week but as a hotel Butlers is still open every evening. The restaurant itself appears to have been refurbished recently and has a contemporary feel to it which is very pleasant and all furniture appears very new. It was lovely to revisit this hotel/restaurant which holds many precious memories and a delight to see that the food and service is still as good as we remember. We definitely won’t wait another 13 years to revisit.

We really enjoy visiting Den Engel after new owners took over a couple of years ago. There is a wider selection of drinks and the bar has had a wonderful make over which looks fantastic. We particularly enjoy sitting outside during warmer weather. Most of the staff and the manager are very welcoming. We did try to visit one evening after a meal in a local restaurant but were told under 18s are not allowed after 8pm. Fair enough, we didn't realise, but the member of staff was very abrupt when telling us (asking our 14 year old for ID when she could have just said she wasn't allowed in), but maybe she'd just had a bad shift?

Perfectly good food for a fair price. The service is a bit iffy, largely dependent on when you go; in my experience, lunch is usually much quicker and easier than dinner. I wouldn't cite my meals there as anything extraordinary, but it's always quite tasty.

We stayed for 2 nights at this pleasant hotel. We enjoyed the food (breakfast and dinner/wine) The room was clean and light with windows on 2 sides. The staff were very helpful, bright and cheerfull
