Haven't been to nandos in years but probably wouldn't bother again. 6 of us went for a friend's birthday. 3 meals were brought to the table and about 10 mins later i had to ask if the other 3 could come out aswell. One was missing corn, one had burn't corn and gravy was brought out well before the rest of the meal so was cold. One meal came out with mac and cheese side that we didn't order so let the staff know so they just took it off our plate and added it to another plate when we could have touched it. For the price we paid for 6 people I wasn't overly impressed with the service. To be fair I will add that we did go on a bank holiday Monday.

Room on arrival had a soaking wet floor, absolutely stank of damp. Very basic. Bathroom had mold patches in between tiles. No Prosecco in room on arrival, as paid for and arranged. Very disappointed had a two night stay. Spa is very dated, never been to anything like it before. Pool was crammed with kids. Our package was booked for a couples spa weekend. Food was ok nothing special.

Lovely dinner at Borders tonight, would definitely recommend the Atul Kochher designed flavours of India dishes. Kaela welcomed us with a great smile, knew the menu and worked tirelessly to make our night a bit more special, given the restaurant was very busy with 2 large golf society groups. A great big thank you to her.

Hadn't seen my friend for a few months as she hadn't been very well so decided we'd go for a coffee. Upon arriving we were greeted ever so nicely by girl with glasses who was clearing some tables. We had ordered 2 lattes, a cheese and tomato toastie alongside 2 slices of carrot cake. Although the price shocked me at first due to how expensive it was, the lattes and cake were delicious, it was just a shame that the same couldn't be said about the toastie that didn't arrive for over 15 minutes. I approached a staff member (who i was later told was the manager) regarding the waiting time for the toastie, she looked at me with a face that looked fed up and miserable and rolled her eyes at me when i had told her how long i had been waiting. She then shouted across to someone to put a toastie in for me and continued to shout at other staff members. Every other staff member was so very nice, just disappointed with the lack of respect shown by the manager, it's no way for anyone to behave when were spending money let alone a manager. I received an apology on behalf of the manager from the young girl who came over to the table with my toastie and 2 free coffee vouchers for next time, which im unsure as to whether or not i shall be returning.

This place is more suited for a drink, if there is a sport fixture you wish to watch. The restaurant is not cheap and you feel as if you are eating in a sports’ bar. The open plan design for us does not work. The old eatery, before refurbishment, was so much better; a cozy bar with TVs and bar food, and separate higher end eatery. Definitely not a change for the better! We used to visit regularly, but not anymore.

Little to say other than my duck with peaches at £15.50 was poor.smallest duck breast I’ve ever been presented with and a fair percentage fat. It was smoked - not mentioned in the menu. Two pieces of flat warm peach, lettuce leaves and a sauce and grated nuts ( on the bottom of everything) completed the dish. Very unappetising. Wife had chicken which mirrored my comments, especially with regard to size!

Absolutely fine if you like the bare bones of deep fried delights - we were staying here for a few days and I honestly struggled to find something to eat. Apart from a few tapas dishes, it Burger, burger, burger, burger, steak sandwich, fish & chips or 1 solitary pasta dish. No specials, no other option than what was offer ! Service was absolutely diabolical, on one occasion, our table of had 1 dish served 10 minutes before the other 6 and the remaining 8th dish 20 minutes after that !!

On entering the shop this morning the employee was wearing his blue gloves and touching various items to set up: outdoor ramp, food board etc. He was very polite and went behind the counter to serve me, he handled money and put toast in the toaster, set up the kitchen - again still wearing the gloves.... Never once did he take them off, change them or wash his hands... I didn't say anything, I wanted to go to work stress free. Needless to say I threw the toast in the bin... Polite service but no hygiene

My father recently stayed at the hotel (booked for 3 nights, only stayed for 1 and did not get the refund back for the 2 remaining nights). He also received a parking fine even though he registered his car plate at the reception. I called on his behalf to ask the hotel to cancel the parking fine. I spoke to Catherine who is the manager there, she reassured me that if I email her the fine letter and the invoice she will email the company to cancel the fine. 2 weeks go by, I haven't hear anything. I then went on to contest the fine myself and sent all the evidence to them (email correspondence with the hotel). I then, for the 4th time, tried to call the hotel and to get through to Catherine. She could not recall talking to me 2 weeks prior so I reminded her of the situation, and told her I also contested the fine. She then started raising her voice at me saying 'now you gonna lose the case! I told you to leave it with me!', btw she never told me not to contest it and if I do I'd lose the case (even though my dad was a guest at the hotel and registered his car). I told her I was worried because it's been 2 weeks and no communication from her, she then said 'you worry too much' I kindly asked her to lower her voice and try to understand my frustration- mid sentence she put the phone down on me, I tried calling back- phone engaged, they most likely blocked my number. I was absolutely shocked- not only they didn't solve the issue, the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional without any desire to help. This interaction is not even worth 1 star. Absolutely terrible service!! Please avoid this place at all costs!

I order the ham egg and chips some simple hard to get wrong you would have thought The eggs had been cremated the chip warm and the ham was tasteless and look like it had been left out over night I know it’s a Wetherspoons and not a Michelin star but it was really poor I should have sent it back typically British I didn’t like to complain Won’t. Be eating there again
