Nando's in Coventry

Haven't been to nandos in years but probably wouldn't bother again. 6 of us went for a friend's birthday. 3 meals were brought to the table and about 10 mins later i had to ask if the other 3 could come out aswell. One was missing corn, one had burn't corn and gravy was brought out well before the rest of the meal so was cold. One meal came out with mac and cheese side that we didn't order so let the staff know so they just took it off our plate and added it to another plate when we could have touched it. For the price we paid for 6 people I wasn't overly impressed with the service. To be fair I will add that we did go on a bank holiday Monday.

I ordered off the app. The food was not delivered yet I was charged for this food. Customer service stayed it was failed delivery . I am out of pocket and no food. Never order online using the delivery service .

Went with my wife and ordered 2 half chicken meals with 2 sides each and 10 wings separately. They brought out the 10 wings with my 2 sides on its own so I brought it back to the counter and told one of the waiters that ‘it’s been delivered wrong…a minute later the manager comes over asking ‘what’s wrong with it and it’s what I ordered’. I said to him I ordered it as 10 wings on its own and the 2 sides with the chicken. Not letting me speak he basically said take it as it is or get a refund’ Took my refund and left…that’s the last time I’ll step foot in a Nandos store His name was Alex and he is the manager of the Coventry Arena branch

Had lunch in Nando’s after a visit to Coventry Transport Museum. My first visit to Nando’s and I was surprised how nice it turned out.Good service nice staff and tasty food for reasonable money.

One of the Best Nandos I’ve been to ,excellent communication very polite staff,will only visit this one from now on ,well done to management for lovely atmosphere

First and last visit to Nando’s. Staff looking very unhappy, had to ask if we will have someone come to take an order or do we order at the till. No cluttery given, not to mention member of staff polishing cluttery on our eyes just with a dry napkin. I work in hospitality myself and I know how these things should be done. My child supposed to have a scoop of gelato with her meal, never came and because we were so disappointed with the treatment from staff and food being not tasty we completely forgot about the icecreams! We ordered grilled chicken, there was no sign of it being grilled more like boiled or steamed 🤦🏻‍♀️ I will Not be recommending this place to anyone I know.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. They were even patient with the kids helping themselves to drinks. 😀

We visited for lunch with our family and immediately we were met with an amazing staff supervisor named Fabian and he took such good care of us the whole time we were there and offered our kids the colouring activities without us even asking. He is a great asset to this Nando’s. Oh and the food was great as well, everything was in my order.

Able served us, swiftly seated, great food as always, overall very pleased with the service and experience.

Great customer service, Abel and Sarah (the manager) treated us really nicely, really welcoming and Abel (who has served us many times) as always was lovely to speak to. Had a minor fall at the restaurant, I was looked after really well and they compensated for the injury!

Never had been to this Nando's before. In very busy shopping centre although no issue with parking. Nice looking Nando's although a bit smaller than others. Girl at register wasn't terribly friendly, a bit sour faced and not a great communicator nor very engaging. I had wanted avocado in my pitta only they don't do that anymore, nor do they do salad. Why not????? They just put a bit of coleslaw in the pittas now. Why do they have to ruin everything in this country. So my chicken pitta was very very plain, with very little hint of "salad." just chicken in a pitta. how boring. I also think it's a bit tacky that you don't get one side included with your order. No, you have to pay separately for a side. They've also gotten rid of some sides like sweet potatoes. It's like they cater to the dullest brits. happens everywhere here. if it tastes too good, they cancel it. Food took a long time to be brought to us. So, overall, food is good, but please bring back the salad in the pittas including the avocado. And please hire someone at the register who isn't so miserable. Your food is not cheap so why do you give the bare minimum?

Didn’t visit - but ordered takeaway. Female Management is obnoxious and inept. Question the rationales when they defend inexcusable impolite insolence of inexperienced ignorant female staff. ‘Karens’ place not Nandos. A no-go for darker complexion customers!

Ordered food from the website and the driver stole the food. Unfortunately they use deliveryoo. Delivery who refused to refund me so I called the restaurant and they advise me to collect. By then I thought it was best if we met inside and we were treated very well and they were very apologetic. Katy treated us like Royalty and gave us free drinks. Made up for stolen food.

Popped in on spur of the moment without booking and was greeted and seated really fast. Had a great round table for six with space for pushchair. Food came quickly and was hot and tasty. Only dislike was the red wine…. Yuk and found the ordering app a pain as it lost half the order, wish we had gone to counter to order.

Stated they were open for orders, stated delivery time was 55-70 minutes, sat my children down with the menu as a treat for them and they placed their choices, go through the whole palarvour of getting everything in the basket, select to check out, select payment method - BOOM! Sorry we are NOT taking orders right now! It isn't fair! It is very time consuming! They should honour the people already logged in making orders and not leave us all wasting our time ordering from a menu that they are switching off any second it's wrong! Wont be ordering from Nandos again now, well done! Lost a loyal customer through this nonsense with Deliveroo

From the moment I entered I was greeted with a smile from Abel and a friendly manner. He fitted us onto a table straight away and the floor staff were excellent in following up on our time their. Me and my family were looked after and the food was great. Once again a great stop !

Service was rather rubbish, they got to order wrong (despite ordering on the App) and old got drinks with the food. Food was lovely as usual. Ordered some gravy, not as good as KFCs.

good food but don’t think it’s value for money wouldn’t eat here to much more for a treat think it could be a little pricy if u had children I know u can fill ur drink back up for free but only so much u can drink dessert was ok

Not often you see a grubby dirty Nando’s but if you want to this is the one.Ventilation doesn’t work properly so you get to enjoy the smells and fumes from the kitchen tooThe Nando’s formula pretty much guarantees good food but for the price they could clean this grubby little restaurant

Visited these premises Saturday 6th April as my partner and I needed some sustenance. The place was fairly busy with people loitering outside and many queuing inside to place orders. It appeared that the majority of tables were occupied, so my partner and I placed an order as a Take Away. We waited patiently for or order to be completed, and I assembled plastic cutlery and sauces in small containers in anticipation of the completion of the order. The attendant called me over [Order 657] and assured me that the bag he had for me had our completed order. Taking the bag in good faith, we left and drove to the nearby hotel that we were staying in for a special event.The order placed totalled £22.55 – but the £3.70 I paid for the nuts was NOT included. I felt cheated, as I had trusted the member of staff to have known what he was doing (as he had said the order was completed and in the bag). Because boxes had handwritten lettering (some in-house coding known only to staff) – I had no way of knowing my order was incomplete until being in a position to open up all the contents. This was my first ever visit to this specific establishment, and it is clear – amongst the chaos and confusion – that the left hand simply had no clue what the right had was doing. I suffered LOSS due to the incompetence of inept staff who lied to me about my order – took my money – and FAILED to give me what they had stolen from my bank account. I would advise that you do not use this facility, as they have no clue about customer service, and are willing to fleece customers without batting an eyelid. I for one, will never visit this facility for as long as I live!

Great food and atmosphere. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. A very good evening out. My meal was well nice 👍🏾

I usually love Nando's all in UK. Coventry, London and Newcastle upon Tyne best ones. Any GCC countries you will not find these menus food as they are not the same unfortunate.

We ordered a whole chicken but we did not get that. It was missing a leg and two wings. CHEATED!!! The coke was flat and the glasses was not clean. The staff seems friendly.

As expected, excellent quality the we expect from Nando’s. One member of staff, Sully exceeded our expectations.. and certainly deserves recognition!

We waited at least 40 minutes to be seated at a table due to how busy it was, and there was a gang causing trouble in the car park which disrupted our dinner; but the food and service was impeccable once we were finally seated, nice place to go just wish we'd picked a quieter night!

This place is always a top choice for me and my friends. You can be sure to get fast service and the meal to your table within 15 minutes of ordering! would definetly recomend.

Food was lovely, service quick and staff very professional. The only drawback was that there was no nappy changing facilities.

Ya sabes, es muy. Si usted ha estado, entonces sabes que. Si no has estado o sólo han sido una vez, entonces no sé. Es básicamente cosas como pollo, arroz, puré de guisantes n. Se puede hacer más en casa y tan buena, pero fue este enorme siguiente. A mí me gusta.

Visité Nando's por primera vez en la víspera de Navidad. Fue 5:00 pm y no particularmente ocupado. Medio lleno tal vez llevaron a nuestra mesa rápidamente que estaba en el otro lado de la zona donde comensales. Menús dado. No nos preguntaron si era nuestra primera visita a diferencia de muchos otros comensales eran. No sabía que tenía que ir al mostrador para pedir comida. Así que después de una larga espera, me paré una camarera para decirle que estábamos listos para pedir. El aspecto de su cara! ! Mientras estábamos esperando oír claramente podíamos jure camarera en la estación de bienvenida. No es bueno dado estaba sentado en el otro lado con niños y es un restaurante familiar. Comida llegó rápidamente. Pedí un plato completo para 2 - 3 personas. Éramos 3. Es descrito como "un pollo entero. . . . . . . . ". Lo que llegó fue 4 las patas de pollo, además de 4 lados. Donde estaba el resto del pollo? ? ? ? ? Hacer las gallinas no tienen pechugas de pollo? Ambos lados estaban bien. No nos dieron los platos, tuve que pedir. No nos molestamos en pedir flan como preocupado lo que iba a suceder. Así McFlurry en el camino a casa que era. No me apresuraría, y no una primera gran experiencia y bastante decepcionante.

I have been here with my family. I am a vegetarian and i liked the veg option however my sister and friends loved nandos chicken. The sauces are fantastic.

Firstly the staff and the restaurant are absolutely fine. I just don't understand why nandos is so popular. The food is OK its tasty enough but its pretty basic stuff. The portions are pretty meager especially for the price. The price which to be honest unless you have a discount card or similar its a bit of a rip off. There's lots of better places to go really.

Food is fantastic. Absolutely delicious chicken. Friendly staff. Chicken is baking hot. Salad not wonderful. Portions very small. Prices VERY high for small portions

The managers here. (except James, he is very friendly and didn't ignore us, despite we made a complaint) We ordered food and I accidentally said the wrong table. James happily went to correct this problem - he seemed happy to do it. The food came over and one of the orders were wrong. We asked a boy called George to correct the order - he kindly tried to. He went to the pass - which we could see. He brought the food back. We called him back over as nothing had changed. George went back to the pass and asked the chefs to redo the food. The chef then yelled at him and pointed at our table very angrily. He seemed to be telling our waiter off - this we thought was very bad. It wasn't his fault at all - he didn't put the order through and he didn't make the order either. He came back with the food, he apologised about it being wrong and went on to helps others. The sauce had been scraped off of the wrap - me and my friend work in a restaurant - this should never happen, a new one should always be made, especially when it's the chefs fault. We then asked the manager to come over (I think her name was Debbie) she was very rude. Basically said that there was nothing wrong with the chef yelling at the waiter in front of everyone. She didn't even apologise for the poor service we were given, then she ignored us, stood around by the kitchen until the end of our meal (we sent the food back 3 times... we were here for a very long time) when one of her staff members overheard us talking about how little work she did as a manager.

Really nice food for chicken lovers.. If you are on a protein diet this is the best place that you can visit.. Really nice chicken really soft and with nice sizzling... Also the sides are very nice.. Highly reccomended

Always try to go and and eat some chicken every couple months or so, and never had any problems. (Apart from the one time they ran out of mash!! ) Love Nandos. Yay!

Nandos- everyone knows it. It's decent grub. It's generally quick. Accuracy is generally good. Service at your table is generally good. Service at the till can be hit and miss. Yes, it's generally chicken and chips, and yes you have to pay way over the odds for it. The food doesn't set the world alight and it caters for the mass market- but it's still a great place to get together for a munch with your mates and be in and out within half an hour and not have McDonald's or KFC.

Great food and restaurant just need to sort out how smoky it get blown the bottom of the dinning area best place to sit is the green house lovely on a summers day nice for a date too

So, i like Nando's, easy to cook, quick food! and ive never really had a problem when i eat in. (Okay sometimes it takes a little long to get seated and to queue up to order food - but its a busy restaurant) however ive ordered online twice recently and both times ive got to the restaurant on time (the time ive put for my collection) and the food is not ready. Both times ive waited 20 mins before asking to speak to the manager, who, on both occasions was very nice and apologetic and chased up my food, but it didn't butter no parsnips.If i put in a time on the nandos website, when i want to collect the food, it should be ready for when i am there! if not, they should email saying they cant do it at that time, this time is better, then i know when to leave the house.The food was good tho

I have been to Nandos many times over the years and it never fails to impress.The decor is very nice with comfy seats and big enough tables to fit the giant plate i normally order. The prices are reasonable for this type of establishment with half a chicken with chips and spicy rice costing £10.10. You will also receive loyalty points which when enough collected can be exchanged for free chicken!.The staff are very friendly and always make you feel welcome. The food is always of a great standard and never had a complaint. Also time for food to arrive is really good so if your hungry you wont be waiting long.If your not a fan of chicken then this may not be the place for you as there is not much of a choice other than that really but the chicken is in kinds of varieties. The peri peri marinade is just the best and if your brave like myself go extra hot you wont regret it!

I always love eating at Nando's when I'm in coventry. This place is so welcoming and delicious. Staff are always Smiling and helpful.

Yet again a great dining experience. Fast service and great food. What more can you ask for. Love the fact you can also wash you hands in the restaurant after eating your chicken

Everybody should eat at nandos regularly. Suitable for all the family and every flavour lover. How hot can you handle?!

City Centre Nando's. I like Nando's problem is that so do lots of other people. We could not make bookings for a Saturday evening and tried twice with a group of eight to turn up and get a table. So beware City Centre Nando's at peak times. At other times I would give Nando's a 3 - relatively cheap, with cheerful with friendly efficient staff. Mostly chicken, cheap wine and hot sauce.

Nandos is Nandos - the food is what you expect it to be from the brand (Unless you go to a very bad Nandos restaurant!) and my experience of the Coventry Nandos in the CIty Centre near the cathedral was excellent. Lovely busy ambience with lots of people enjoying their food.I definitely recommend this Nandos restaurant.

First visit to Nandos. Food was hot and tasty and good sized portions. Nice surroundings and loved the opportunity to try the various Nandi sauces. Loved the lemon and herb sauce. The Portuguese bread roll with the chicken was lovely. Good menu choice. Will definitely return.

Nando's regular, love the atmosphere and and the restaurant in Coventry is something special. Food and service great as it always is....dayyumm I'll be back for more chicken...!

This nando's has really good food, tasteful chicken creamy mash coleslaw chips and yummy peranaize dip, it definitely good value as I always get 20% off using my HHS card :) I always eat here when I'm in Coventry centre. Only bad point is that all nando's have very uncomfortable hard wooden seats. But I'd still recommend this place and it's halal food too.

I was served by a trainee who called me mate,I'm not your mate I am a customer .Nobody serving knew what Pinotage wine was and I had to go back to the desk to get it and was asked did I want glasses with that,no I always drink from the bottle.The food was great but oh dear please train the staff serving at the till area.

Food was gorgeous, didn't take long to arrive, service was good, price was good, would definitely recommend and can't wait to go back

I've never quote understood Nandos. You queue for ages, before sitting in the loudest restaurant imaginable, can't hear anyone in your party speak, queue for ages to order from people who really couldn't care less. I get that its a chicken restaurant (and I love chicken) but it can get a bit tiresome once you've been, erm, once. The sides are extremely poor - spicy rice which is not spicy, and you only get a spoonful. And the peas - what are they about? The chicken is never very tasty, it's always dry, if you have the burger the bread is like cardboard, they never clear your plates. I'd rather go to a KFC where you get much better chicken and better service. Oh and you can hear yourself think.

Having visited Nandos all over the world (their chicken is one of my wife's favorite meals) we were very disappointed with our visit to Nandos in Coventry. Admittedly we did visit on a Saturday evening and had expected it to be busy and accepted the 30 'mins wait for a table - this turned out to be nearer 45. Much to my amazement when I placed our order I was then told the meal would be another 35 mins. In total it took nearly an hour and a half to obtain chicken and chips. Never before in any of our previous visits to a Nandos (in excess of 30 ) had we ever had to wait to this extent and to crown our disappointment when the food eventually arrived some of it was cold. We ate the edible and left in disgust.

Nando's food is always good but 3 times we went to Coventry restaurant we found the staff was rude and did not care. You have nobody at the entrance to help you choose a table and then you have barely any attention during your meal even if you ask for particular things. Smiling could be a plus too!!
