This was my 2nd attempt and this time we managed to be served and eat. Delicious food, pricey. Nice staff, clean, only one negative observation - food is not served to everyone present at the table at the same time. But still highly recommended.

We had the pleasure of organizing our son's Holy Communion party at the Slovianka restaurant. It was our best decision. The food was delicious, the service was extremely nice and professional. If you are still wondering where to organize a special occasion party, call the restaurant and book a date.

I've been here before and everything was fine, but last week I was at my friend's birthday party, we came at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, and after 2 hours they told us that they were closing, but when we arrived they didn't tell us that they It closes at 6, I didn’t have time to finish my dish and my friend’s holiday was ruined, I’m very disappointed with this incident and after this I won’t go here again!

ordered a table for 12 people for 4 o'clock in the evening, the guests came at 4:20 and at 6 we were already told that they were already closed, but no one warned or said that they would close at 6, my guests were very upset

Total crap! I expected a great restaurant after seeing beautiful photos of Polish dishes. I went there with the desire to eat a delicious dinner with my family, and what I found shocked me. Chicken broth? I didn't know that one of the simplest Polish soups could be so messed up. Instead of broth, I got water that tasted like something cooked in a 10-liter pot using one leg. We thought it was just a bad start and, not discouraged, we waited another 45 minutes for the second course (considering that there were 3 tables occupied in the pub, for a total of 6 people, and it's a Sunday). Not to mention the fact that every few moments Our peace was disturbed by the ringing of the microwave bell. The robber cake arrived, and with it another disappointment! We got completely raw flour with potato added. We left without causing a scene, but unfortunately with empty bellies :) Ps I have no idea why there are so many good reviews, but something must have gone wrong with this place.

Honestly, the service was nice and specific, but the portion was a disaster, I went for dinner and got an afternoon snack, not enough salad, not enough sauce and the portion wasn't great. Well it wasn't wow.

The restaurant delighted us not only with its delicious food, but also with its amazing atmosphere. The service was exceptionally professional, making our experience unforgettable. I highly recommend this place for lovers of excellent cuisine and pleasant service.

Good food and nice decorations. Went with a group of 10 people and service was excellent. The kitchen forgot one order, we didn't have to wait much longer and the dish was offered by the restaurant, which was very nice of them. Had chicken cutlet, kvass and vodka, paid around £21 The chicken was good and tender, with mushrooms/greens stuffing.

Czekałem na obiad 30 minut który po podaniu jadłem max 60 sekund, porcja dla niemowlaka, ziemniaki jakieś gumowate, 3cm na 2 cm kawałek mięska, troche surówek i 15f nie ma. Po tym 'posiłku' dopiero obok poszedlem dobrze zjeść, a Wam juz na przyszłość dziękuje.

I’ve been to this establishment for quite some time, but only recently I remembered that I wanted to write a review! Very clean and cultural place, kind staff and funny movies on TV. I would like to write a poem about food, but I’ll put it in a few words - it’s wonderful. As a girl from Ukraine, I was very pleased to again feel the smell and taste of my homeland, which I missed and miss. I will definitely come to you again soon. W restauracji nie byłam parę ładnych lat. W tam tym tygodniu było to po raz pierwszy od bardzo dawna. Jedzenie smaczne jak kiedyś, jedynie okres czekania bardzo długi. Miła obsługa.

My ribs were even ok, but the chicken soup was a water with the lard and raw dumplings half Cooked purchased from the shop, definitely not self made! The cook had no taste at all! Will NEVER come back there!

Beautiful authentic food, reasonable prices and lovely, cozy atmosphere.

We had the most lovely, tasty meal just now. Grandaughter had meat pierogi, daughter had halloumi with rosti and mushroom sauce and I had pork chop with rosti and mushroom sauce. Husband had chicken stuffed with spinach and cheese etc. The portions were large and nicely presented . We are looking forward to returning soon, we live in Leicestershire but it will be worth the journey.

Oczekiwanie na jedzenie to okolo 1 godziny, obiad zostal podany jednej tylko jednej osobie a druga musiala czekac 15 minut. Wiec w parach nie polecat wyjscia. Kelnerki brak wiedzy o potrawach lub czego kolwiek co jest w karcie. Potrawy bez smaku. NIE POLECAM

Food was alright. Not especially good or especially bad. Never tried this type of dish so don’t know if it’s authentic or not. Generally lack of flavour. The best dish is potato pancake with sauce on top.

100 % recommended this lovely restaurant. Polish and Ukrainian food, absolutely delicious. Surprisingly when I arrived there not been too much people. Maybe later evening because I arrived just 1 hour after they opened. Ordered pipe beer, Ukrainian borsz, pork roll filled with ghurkins etc, dumpling and cabbage 😊 kindly stuff, even I can charged mobile. Nice music. I will be back again.

Just made it home from Slovianka and I’m probably going to spend the rest of the evening on my sofa, holding my tummy and muttering “OMG” - in the good way! Friendly service from the waitress with five different accents, tasty food, good prices. I’ll be back!!

We booked a table in advance . Apparently there were two large parties happening - a hen do and a baby shower . For some reason they only had one waitress . We were nicely seated away however the food didn’t meet the expectations. Potatoe pancakes- very greasy and oily . Chicken I ordered wasn’t freshly cooked - more like cooked a day or two ago and kept in a fridge and then reheated . When wanted to order more drinks it was impossible to order as the waitress (who was lovely ) , was waiting on the other tables . Not sure what happened there and why were they understaffed but it wasn’t fair on the waitress nor on customers . Quite disappointed in the whole experience

Unfortunately place on avoid list... very slow service, first round of drinks has been forgotten and never delivered to our table. Over one hour waiting time for meals. Waiters running to local shop for supplies multiple times... Never get promised glass of champagne for ladies... Big No NO!

Pyszne jedzonko, , przyjemna atmosfera, wspaniali i przyjaźni właściciele, czyściutko i schludnie . Poprostu rewelacja.

Meal was great. I wanted to have a coffee and desert, but the 'waitress' was more interested in her phone than to come, ask, clean up and generally be interested in doing her job. Shame. There was a lady that did cooking "amongst other things" and provided great service, warm welcome and a big smile, unlike that waitress, that should be working at McDonald's.

Choose another restaurant,food not so good and service appalling,waited an hour for food then my wife's meal ,wasforgotten and sever didn't even notice, definitely won't be back EVER

An excellent restaurant. The dishes are very tasty and large for quite a reasonable price. I've been here 3 or 4 times and never had a meal i didn't enjoy. Highly recommended.

Average food, my husselback potato was just a non crispy, undercooked jacket potato. Tasteless. The rest of the meal was ok. My “polka” kotlet was actually a devolay rather than a schnitzel. Presentation is good but it’s just masking average food. The restaurant itself is quite pretty. Front of house staff were polite and welcoming.

First visit here over the weekend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Varied menu with many tempting options, my food was delicious. My only criticism is that it was a fairly small portion, but that wouldn’t stop me returning.

We visited this restaurant a couple of times with friends and family. Great choice of food for everyone. And what is really important the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Great place for lunch, dinner or a party.

Worst experience ever!!! Before going to this restaurant make sure there is no concerts going on in there!!! When we entered the restaurant it was pretty quiet. After 10-15 min a group of people started karaoke ridiculously loud. My ears started to hurt. Appalling. I couldn't even hear my girlfriend sitting in front of me. Luckily we cancelled our desserts and left as soon as we finished our main meal. I wouldn't be posting this if they offered a discount. The food was tasty though

Tatar: minced raw meat with raw egg on top, a classic (tartare) not suited for everyone, to me: delicious! Baked salmon: nice, but it is something you’ll find everywhere. Now, the soups are another thing, I had the renowned SOLYANKA, different and beautiful, a lunch in itself. Then, a one kilo Golonka, could feed two, especially after the Tatar and the soup... what a feast! To drink, try the KVASS, it is very much like coke but with aromas of bread! Also tried and happy with the pierogi and the Poledwiczka. Staff is very friendly and the place is sparkling. I read previous reviews about the portions being small, that’s a thing of the past! Visited on 05-08-2020.

Wystrój z klasą, przypominający góralski. Obsługa na najwyższym poziomie, Pani uśmiechnięta 😊, kontaktowa. Pierogi smaczne 🥟, odpowiednio doprawione, przyzwoita porcja dla kobiety. Jeżeli ktoś tęskni za tradycyjnymi polskimi pierogami to jak najbardziej polecam!! 🙂
