Got takeaway, only got half the goods. No garlic sauce no extra pitta bread. Not happy. Avoid

Fresh lamb and chicken kebabs with homemade chilli sauce. Perfect Turkish food with excellent service and a lovely hidden away dine in option.

Food item missing - entire main meal. Delivery driver was on our road but couldn’t find the house as he wouldn’t listen to me or look at house numbers, just kept referring back to Google maps. Food was OK but nothing amazing.

Istanbul used to be really tasty, it was really bland today and not what it usually is. Delivered in good time as usual.

taste and temperature was great and delivery was early however i ordered the mega mixed grill meal which stated large chips on the description and they never arrived with my meal

The food is lovely. It's definitely not £10.90s worth though. The Kebab meat and chips I had. The chips are fries. So it's basically half what you used to get but the same price. It's happening everywhere. Save your money.

We came with a group of friends and had an amazing experience. The food was amazing, and the service was very fast.

We went in with a group of family members (4-5 tables put together) and the place was set up beautifully. We had a variety of cold starters, going all along the table, the food kebab mix was delicious. My nephew wanted nuggets and chips and they were happy to assist and support. I really loved the service and the food. Thank you for an amazing evening and would definitely recommend.

also when I ordered the driver forgot to take the cash (okay simple mistake). when he rang over an hour later after receiving the order we was all already in bed (11.30pm) I spoke to him and said I would be at the store at opening to pay for it as we are all now in bed. he comes to my door around 20mins later waking me up. also my ezme was missing

I have been a long term fan of this restaurant but after today my opinion has completely changed… visiting with a group of friends a young lady began to take our order we ordered 2 king size chicken kebabs plain no salad and no chilli sauce due to allergies and dietary requirements… after 30 minutes our food is brought over and what a shock both have chilli sauce and salad we told them and they were abit reluctant to change but eventually they did… we then can see the staff member empty the chicken from the plate into a tray and begin to wash the chicken in the sink then proceed to reheat on the grill(I’m still shocked writing this as was the gentlemen sat on the table next to us) we called they staff member out on this and he straight away knew what he was doing was wrong… Guys if you value your health and well being please AVOID this restaurant as they are more bothered about a quick earner than the health and well being of Loyal customers

We realised that the time frame had expired so phoned the restaurant. Was given misleading info leading us to believe the food was on its way. After 3 further phone calls including speaking to the ‘manager’ the food eventually arrived cold and subsequently not the anticipated quality from Istanbul…£10 for a kebab!…I expect better

So disapionting, this used to be one of the best burger stops in the city, 2 delivery times and still late, chicken was more like a wet sponge, fries were soggy and the burger was so full of fat it fell out the paper, and everything was cold.0/10.

Good size portions, fresh salads and chicken pieces were tender and very tasty. Felafal wrap I had for lunch at work the next day. The lakmajou was a good size and delicious. Could not fault any of the I ordered.

Food took a good hour to arrive and was just lukewarm when it finally turned up. Kebab was tasty but the chips soggy and cold, the salad was salad & the baklava was soggy and very, very oily. Disappointing, I used to love the Istanbul :(

Great food big portions defo us again

ordered for 6pm, said running late and would be with 6.25. Arrived at 7pm, cold, paid £30 for the privilege! 1 tray of salad between 2 people, 2 trays of kebab meat and 3 pittas,could have got for half the price at the chippy down the road. Asked for some money back and was told "no, sorry for being late, restaurant extremely busy"! Will not be ordering again, should have read other reviews first, and not ordered at all.

The food was great. I order regularly and know they are always very busy but when an item is missing why won't Just Eat compensate for it. I didn't ring because it was busy and thought I'd get compensation.

Always the best quality Doner meat 👌 but every now and again there seems to be a lack of Doner meat 🍖 and the sauce should come in a pot and not on the meat in the tray 🤔

The food was stone cold it’s one thing the Order arriving late but they couldn’t even provide me with hot food. It wasn’t even warm. All the driver could do wasapologise. The driver did not even offered to replace the food. I had to speak to the restaurant directly. , I know I don’t even get to eat with my family because I had to go work the food took so long to get here and then was cold absolutely going downhill this restaurant when I always ordered from here but the quality has declined

I ordered a large doner kebab meal and medium Efes pizza. The service wasn’t very friendly at all. I didn’t mind waiting for the pizza, as I know it takes time, once it was ready I had to order doner kebab meal again as they had forgotten. There were 4 or 5 people behind the counter but they seemed much more focused on making the orders for delivery than me standing in front of them. Unfortunately once home, my husband found the kebab a total mess, inedible and cold. My pizza was also cold and not very nice at all either so it all went in the bin, total waste of money. If this had been an order on Uber eats or Deliveroo I would have got a full refund.

Had family around so I ordered the family special, for £40 and there was meat barely enough for two !! The food didn’t feel fresh the pitta bread was stale the only thing we enjoyed was the salad! Very disappointed.
