Antalya Restaurant in Coventry

Run out of fries, no shawarma. We had to leave with our kids because of 40-1hour wait for our food. Ended up taking it in takeaway boxes. First and last time for us.

I went here with a friend for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. She had been here before but I hadn't. The staff were friendly and attentive, and there was a good selection on the menu. We were given a free basket of warm flat breads with some dips. These were lovely and fresh. I chose the mixed grill with cous cous and salad, and my friend had lamb chops with cous cous and salad. I tried Turkish tea for the first time. It was a bit bitter, so I put a sugar lump in, and it was delicious, I ended up having 3! When the food came, I was amazed at how much there was! There was a lamb kofta kebab, a chicken shish kebab, bbq chicken wings, bbq lamb ribs, and a mixture of chicken and lamb shawarma. Everything was absolutely delicious, and I'll definitely be coming back.

Been visiting the place for a number of years. I believe the ownership changed a few times. However, the food continues to be tasty.

Celebrated my birthday in this Restaurant we all enjoyed different meals.

I've been visiting this restaurant frequently for the last 5 to 6 years...food was good... but it has changed a lot in terms of quality and quantity of food ..

Another place to add to my go to list for authentic Turkish food. The food was spot on with flavours and everything complemented each other. The staff were very polite whenever they were available. They were hardly seen though. The portion was generous and we enjoyed the dips and warm bread. The price was reasonable as well. It was an overall pleasant experience

Food was amazing. Came over to meet up with some family and this place was brilliant. The bread and dips to start were a lovely accompaniment to the meal. Staff were very pleasant, portions were huge. Overall a fantastic place to eat.

Ordered some food takeaway tonight,all the order was wrong ,instead of lamb they have put chicken and instead of chosen salad they have put different salad all the order was faulty and not delicious at all very bland taste . Very disappointing.

100% will recommend Antalya Restaurant - delicious food, amazing staff - always makes sure to look after you and are very friendly. Their manager Shahin is very helpful and is always ready to help when needed to. Overall Antalya is very welcoming and makes you feel like you’re all one big family!

Lovely desserts made in the house!

Food great as usual. I understand it was a busy Saturday evening but before our arrival we agreed with restaurant that they will prep all the platers we wanted, but unfortunately it was still 60 minutes wait. No one asked us if we want anything to drink, no one offered Turkish tea, no one really cared. When we finally get some drinks waiter said that there is no more glasses for us. I'm very disappointed, that's not a standard we used to in this place.

Food average, they don't accept cards and staff were in a hurry to clear the table removing plates while we were still eating.

Went here for 9.11.24 waiters waitresses were unfriendly food was awful prices ridiculous drinks not fresh were diluted passed off as fresh Had to send a dish back to be rebaked Staff stood over us and started clearing up while we were still eating had to say 2x were not finished wont be going here again

Cash only! Didn't notice this on the website. Food was lovely, lots of attentive staff. Food comes really quickly. Felt a bit rushed as main came out while we were still eating starters, but it was actually quite nice having lots of bits / plates to pick off. Complimentary houmous, bread, olives and dips at the start of the meal is a really nice touch. Love that. Halal, no alcohol and several veggie options so suited my group. 1 of us ordered a dessert which never came, but we didn't raise it as she decided she was too full anyway. Just FYI they're pre-made desserts Will definitely go back though, good portions and very tasty. UPDATE, second visit. Still great food, a much better, friendly service, and didn't feel rushed. Premade dessert are very over priced, but food is great, huge portions and fresh..

Some seriously good eating to be had here! The charcoal grill menu is outstanding, fresh and tasty. And once you’re done, wash it down with some lovely Turkish tea!

Great atmosphere, you feel like you're in Turkey! Lovely decor, great food at very reasonable prices and very family friendly (there was a great children's birthday party going on while we were there, with the staff bringing birthday cakes and singing Happy Birthday. Staff all very attentive and friendly. Do remember it's cash only. And Saturday night, it's best to book - but this time they managed to squeeze us in!

Very good value for money. Great food , well served by staff. The restaurant is clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We will come again, though it's pay by cash only.

It’s really great to visit here one of my favourites but their staff is all the time in rush feels like that they just want to serve quickly which is good but they also want customers to leave quickly as well😂

They won't ask if you have any allergies. They will get you burning hot chilli sauce instead of the ketchup you asked for. Be careful if you take children. Cash only place. Food is average.

Jokers!! Instead of grilled meat you get fried in the deep oil!!! I was able to talk with one of the chefs and he said everyone likes that, I don't know how all customers like to eat meat full of oil!! Also I want to add the meat was not fresh, light smell !! Never recomand this place, there are better restaurants in town!!

The food is ok nothing special apart from lamb Shish which was not nice at all. Over cooked hard bits of lamb cubes! Chicken tasted good but one piece wasn’t cooked. Lahmacun is nice, the free starters bring is very nice but tiny portions for say family of 4, drinks reasonably priced and the service staff nice and always around if you need something. Average atmosphere. If I am in the area ever again I would visit again but not ordering lamb Shish or maybe Chicken Shish also the CASH ONLY policy is a deal breaker for me ideologically I don’t like shopping at such places. Their Lamb dinner also lovely. Not expensive at all and service charge is not automatically added to the bill.

Shocking restaurant, found dark hairs in my rice, when questioned. They told me it was mine. But I have bright blonde hair ? Food was very average, microwaved food would taste better

The food was fantastic. I got a takeaway, and the tea they provided whilst I waited was great as well.

My favorite spot in the city to experience good Turkish food. You have plenty of options to choose from the menu and I love their chicken shish and kunafa. You get the best kunafas in town. They do have private parking but I felt it's a little difficult to identify. Do call them if you can't find them but it's just behind the restaurant. Note- They are cash only and you have a tesco ATM just across the road.

The best Turkish resturant in UK. Very tasty meze cold starter, fresh lahmacun is same like turkey, we ordered sharing platter for 5 people and we taste it all. Everything was perfect , they have a parking in the back , tea is on the house very nice calm atmosphere, staff is very friendly, price is definitely fair. we will be back definitely

Average Turkish restaurant. The food is a bit bland considering this is a Turkish place. The service was nice. Atmosphere isn’t bad. The parking is in a one way street. There is ample parking. Being a large restaurant it is weird that they’re cash only. That’s a big inconvenience especially when you’re going as a group.

This place was full of families with a lovely vibe. We had bostin’ food at a decent price. Great portions, fabulous fresh salads, tasty meats and smoky aubergine. Don’t know why it’s had such poor reviews in recent months, only thing I can agree with is the hummus, freshly flavoured and very nice but I personally prefer more garlic and lemon (but there is sliced lemon to squeeze). hardly a reason to give a bad review!

Parking available behind the restaurant. The deserts are clearly a winner. They have managed to maintain the authenticity. Will definitely try again!

This is the third turkish restaurant we tried and it's the best one in terms of taste and quality. The portions were huge that we got most of it back home. The waitresses were quick to serve. The cost was justifiable for the items we ordered. Free tea and bread was a bonus we didn't expect. The restaurant, kitchen and toilets were clean. PS: It may be a little bland for the Indian palate.

First Time as local.. 6 of us Birthday Dinner.. We had Platter for 5 plus jug of mixed fruit juices £91.. The Starters of Fresh Traditional Bread and Dips went down a treat so much.. The Platter enough for 10 People so lots were packed as Leftovers in Foil Trays.. Good Friendly Service and Atmosphere.. We return soon.. This is a Cash Only Payment Restaurant but not a problem.

This was our go to Turkish restaurant but that is no more! We have just ordered a lamb doner kebab as a takeaway and it was inedible! It could have been made from horse meat for all I know and was full of sinew, bone and fat - the meat was similar to having to eat chewing gum. If I had been sitting in the restaurant I would have sent this back and likely eaten elsewhere. Antalya restaurant whatever you have done with your cost-cutting this will lose you customers!

I had the platter for 2, its gone up from £29 to £33 and the portions become so small however there was few pieces of chicken and lamb shawarma. It’s not worthy it anymore

Lunchtime visit with work colleagues. Great value lunch menu. Two of us had chicken. Two had lamb. We all really enjoyed what we were given. Very fresh and wholesome.

The food was nice, but expensive. They also only take cash which I find odd, but there is a cash point opposite. Mocktails were delicious!

Staff didn't of the reservation upon arrival even though reserved over the phone. Tables so close that you can't even pull your chair and sit, staff was watching that there were no space yet nothing bothered to help. Staff literally pushed arrogantly when I was paying at the counter. Not sure if I 'll visit again.

Visited this resturant after our daughters graduation. Upon entering the resturant we noticed posts on the wall stating cash only!! Was not impressed with that at all. The waitress pointed to a Tesco opposite side of the road. We ordered a platter and few soft drinks. Food was delivered within 5mins. Gorgeous array of meats and chicken along with salads and dips. Food was delicious, although, some of the meats were quite fatty than fleshy. The customer service was alittle unsatisfactory. We didnt see the waitress again, until we had finished eating.

I have been going for meals takeaway and eating in. Fantastic restaurant value for family and pocket. Taste first class. Calm waitress love customer service. Wish they can allow own drink while you dine..... maybe outside or upstairs 🤔🙂

Staff is not very helpul and are running around like crazy. Taste profile is ok. Veggei bayti is the most delicious item on their menu. Meaty items are not very spicy and a bit chewy. All the mains including vegetarian dishes cost £14 and above! That's way too expensive.
