Pasha Turkish Restaurant in Coventry

Ordered through the website. Had an order confirmation email and money taken from my account. An hour later, food still hadn't turned up. Tried to call them but straight to voicemail multiple times. Turns out they were closed. Had to go through my bank to get a refund. Doesn't look like it's the first time they've done this to people. Used to be great, avoid now!

We ordered some food Sat evening about 7pm.. by 9pm it still hadn't arrived!! We called lots and it went straight to voicemail everytime! My husband then drove down there as we only live 10 mins drive away and they were CLOSED !!! ABSOLUTELY APPALING!!! Yet they've taken £30 of his money off him.

Shocking No reply after order. They were always so good. Reckon they are closing down

Ordered and waited more than 1h. After calling them, they told me their website is no longer operational, the only option is to collect. I had to give them the order again over the phone and arranged collection myself!!!

This place has gone down hill! I had the mix grill. Lamb chops were literally frozen lamb chops thrown on the grill. Not marinated, not flavoured. Nothing! Not even salted. And not cooked properly. The lamb kebab (cubed) pieces was tough and rubbery, I had to spit it out just in case of choking. The doner kebab was rubbery. It was not fresh meat, I don't believe it was even a couple of days old in the fridge. By that point didnt want to try rest of the meat. I couldn't even finish it, sadly in the bin for fear of food poisoning. The spicy rice was not rice but couscous but that was alright, that and the salad was probably the best thing.

Waited 50minutes for three different items, They forget to cook the chicken wings extra wait ! terrible service. The previous owners were fine now in new hands. Avoid if you can overcooked rice, overcooked chicken, small portion of salad no napkins, will not be visiting this place which again . I have been going there for the last 10 years terrible service avoid at all cost New owners have no clue…!!!!!!!!

Ordered four separate items from this takeaway in person waited 50 minutes ,he forgot to cook the chicken wings terrible 50 minutes long time overcooked rice, overcooked chicken, very small portion of salad before , now in the hands of new owners, they don’t have a clue what they’re doing before it was fine void! no napkins . will not be visiting this place with again been there before so many time food was always lovely with the previous owners , now has new owners. They don’t have a clue what they’re doing. VOID ,VOID, VOID .!!!!!!

The food was tasteless and bland. It seemed like it was reheated or microwaved rather than freshly prepared. I couldn't even finish my meal because it was so unappetizing.

I ordered food and it turned out to be disgusting. The potatoes were last year, they were bitter and it seemed that they had been heated in the microwave more than once and burned . The kebab was hard, the chicken was completely inedible. Very disappointed because I had guests and they were very upset. Had to throw everything in the trash.

I ordered lamb kebab but this was mistake. I know this place from 4 years and always was very good and fresh. Today I received lamb probably from yesterday. Not fresh cut, no garlic sauce but ordered. Everything disgusting, cold and not tasty. Never again

I stopped by the restaurant today. The taste of doner wrap was as good as the ones in Turkey. Above all, the owners of the restaurant was polite and decent while welcoming me. I guess this also made me glad. As the restaurant has been there for nearly 25 years, you kind a feel the old but nice atmosphere. I definitely suggest that everyone in the town should try this restaurant. Edit: Once Pasha Grill was closed, and I had to try the Sharwa the Arabic ones, the results was that Pasha Grill's doner kebab was much better and tastier!

Disappointing food from a place that use to be great. Chicken seemed uncooked and rough to bite, flavours were poor, the peppers were uncooked but thoroughly burnt on one side. Will not be going back.

I ordered online yesterday for delivery, no one showed up, I went to the restaurant and it was closed for my surprise. Money was taken from my card and no one answers the phone. I am wondering how will I get my refund.

Their lamb and chicken doner is absolutely disgusting. Chicken is full of fat and god knows and the lamb is as rubbery and artifical as anything. I would avoid doner from here at all costs.

I’ve tried this place 3 times now and once they get used to you, they don’t accommodate the quality. Last week I ordered the chicken wrap and the meat wrap- the wrap was stone cold and the lamb pieces were cold. Have decided not to revisit this place again.

Found a blue foreign object in the large Donna mix wrap ? However The Medium Donna wrap tasted nice.

Absolute rip off got a lamb shish and it came in tiny tray with a couple of 1cm square cuts off lamb. I honestly cannot believe they had the cheek to charge me £9.00 for this it’s absolutely appalling. No sauces with it which I asked for and no pitta bread or anything I took a photo but unfortunately I cannot unload it Blows my mind that they’re happy to take peoples money and think they’re going to be okay with that amount of food in return On photos the mixed donor kebab is made out to be lamb and chicken shawarma all I got was pale under cooked donor and a couple of bits of chicken. I spent £23 in total and got around £5.00 worth of food. They should be ashamed

Ordered takeout it was made relatively quickly. The supreme box and the falafel were very good. The rice with the box wasn’t jasmine it was kind of low end, but the hummus with the falafel was a decent sized portion. The salad was bland and the sauces they are supposed to give they really skimped out on. I’m Talking maybe a tablespoon of each so the food was dry and didn’t have much spice or flavor. Prob won’t order again for the price but I’ll give them 3/5.

I have started going here regular as i love turkish and middle eastern food. The service fantastic, fairly small place but cosyish, parking is a issue you may have to walk a little depending when you go. Food is prepared quite quick and fresh infront of you. Me and my mrs partularily love the spicy rice because you dont realy get it anywhere else around town. Its not so much spicy as it has a slight tang to it. The kofta kebab always consistant on taste. The hummous is nice it could be more authentic and the bread with it is tosted nicely. The salsa if you ask me they charge a bit too much for it for it being salsa in coventry and not London. However its nice. I have slowly started to become a regular. Take away is good too as iv tried it.

Went for a kebab looked nice on skewers but definitely wasn’t chicken shouldn’t be trading. Absolutely horrible needs to be consulted with food standards. Even GDK Is better

Food is not expensive but me and my husband felt the taste is not good and quality could be better. We love Turkish cuisine but this place food was disappointment for us.

About the 9th time we’ve ordered wraps from here, never been disappointed. The wraps are massive, the meat is fresh & the service is quick too. Recommended

Walked in to order a quick bite. I looked at menu very confusing choose a mix donner wrap, guy in counter said would you like a meal i said yes. I had spicy rice which was very bland and old maybe a few days ago. The wrap wasn't fresh either the meat was hard and chewy. Charged me £9.00. Not value for money. Shame new management cannot serve food quality food. Dont mind paying a reasonable price the foods gone downhill badly. Old owners made sure quality was high.

Noticed the restaurant is finally open. Was a bit surprised of the rebranding and the colour change inside. But can say the food is the same outstanding quality. The soup is lovely and the wraps are the in Coventry if I may say. Do recommend

Not good، basically they are Kurdish who are bragging of being Turkish. They are rude that they are talk in their own language with impolite looking. Totally not recommended.

I work in Far Gosford Street and I've often had a wrap or some lamb with salad and rice for my lunch. Always fresh and tasty and good quality. Missed this place when it was shut. Delicious and good value

I was walking on the street and wanted to say hi to see that they are really from Turkey or not.. because in the UK mostof the restaurants use "Turkish" brand as a mark but they can't speak Turkish :) Anyway they asked me to sit and have a Turkish tea.. and while we were talking a lahmacun came on the table that was delicious. The guys are from Diyarbakir-Turkey and they were kind. I will visit again but this time as a customer..

Tasty food - great value for money!

Used to be really nice but not too sure about who's running the show now as I see "halal" but I don't see any Muslims running it so advice caution. If this is an error on my part then I'll correct it but send me the proof that you guys are really halal please .

Nice people are working there and they treat you nice but the food wasn't fresh at all. I order lots food from the shop and put everything in bin. Very old and hard bread, which should be fresh and nice. The chips was horrible and look been kept after frying or half frying I don't know. We got humours it was just like water with olive oil. We been order Turkish humours many time in different places it was an amazing. Ohh dear them falafel no taste at all. I don't know why everything was like that for us. We was so hungry but all through to bin. All other food we ordered was zero like shawarma, which chicken, soap and more.We will never go back there and we will not recommend to any one, I'm sorry.

we went to pasha with friends just after clubbing. food is absolutely delicious and staffs are kind and friendly. we wii visit there more often definitely. it is best Turkish restaurant in Coventry. 5 stars.

I came here for the first time. It has a very different environment. Interesting also staff were friendly and kind. I was very pleased with what I ate, especially the chips, when I wanted, they are put in the frying machine. Thanks for you guys!

I’ve been going to Pasha on and off for some years now. I’ve seen the place go through lots of different owners. A few years back they started charging £1 for a little humous in your wrap you might have paid £7 for which infuriated me and I told them about it. I vowed never to go back but I did because the food was good. Well I’ve just been tonight and got three large kebabs with rice and salad and two large chips and it cost me £27! Now the amount of salad they gave was poor but the size of a large chips is a complete joke and rip off. If I had seen them serve them in the shop I would have refused to pay. As you can see from the picture they are put into a burger bun container and they charge £2.40 for each small box of dry chips! I can’t believe how they can charge such an amount, I had to wonder if this was large how small would a small chips be? In London the Turkish restaurants are much more generous and value for money. Actually forget London go to Sultan on the same road as Pasha, no wonder they are now much more busy than Pasha. I vow never to go back to Pasha, STAY AWAY! Pasha you have just lost a faithful family as customers and I will spread the word to whoever listens. Shame on you for ripping off your public!

The staff used to be brilliant at Pashas, I think the place has been took over by new owners and it has gone down hill. I think its the new owner who misbehaved on my last visit. when we complained about food his attitude was absolutely disgusting. normally you'd expect the owner to be the most customer friendly member of staff but its totally the opposite as the other staff are okay. AVOID!

Wzglednie czysto i mila obsluga. Jak na turecki kebab to szalu nie ma.. ale nie najgorzej, no i stosunek ceny do smaku to drogo. Nastepnym razem poszukam innego miejsca i wroce tylko jak nie znajde nic lepszego.

After a previous bad experience at this take away I thought I’d give them another go, I wish I hadn’t. The chicken smelt like it had gone off, when I asked how long it had been there the rude manager just laughed. Then I questioned why they wanted to charge for sauce on my kebab, they said the new owner needs more money as it was quite......DO NOT GO HERE! Go to Sultans up the road.

Various Chicken and lamb dishes. Served with rice or chips. Taste is decent and portion is generous. The shop is not very hygienic though.

A wide selection of different kebabs, and all salads are fresh for a reasonable price. The whole restaurant staff is friendly, and an improvement in terms of hygiene. Definitely worth a try especially for those in Coventry.

I cannot praise Pasha highly enough. I come here on a semi-regular basis, and always wonder why I don't do so more often. The food is delicious and ludicrously cheap, and there's a great range on offer - you can have a light snack or a full meal. Service is generous and attentive, and I can't believe more people don't know about this hidden gem.
