Rushall Balti in Walsall

Food was generally good but chicken and lamb was overcooked for me. Delivery was good. Probably worth a 3.5 star. Complimentary popadom was nice

Recent takeaway delivery. Lamb tikka was dry and overcooked. Chips were dry and stale. Chicken tikka chaat masala has a fabulous taste but chicken was dry. 2 starters and 2 curries with chips a naan and 2 chapatis for £32 - bit expensive. There are loads of decent curry houses about so you need to up your game. I’ll be going elsewhere. Sorry

£37 for 2 curries, 3 naans, chips and 2 rice. Hour and half wait, food cold and curry half empty. Lack of taste and chips like cardboard. Would not recommend!!!

My 11 year old grandson recommended this as he had a family birthday meal here some weeks ago. Looking at the 2 year old hygiene rating we went with some trepidation! However they had upped their game significantly. Very clean bright modern decor; excellent service; and very enjoyable meal. Absolutely no complaints. Thoroughly recommended.

Great food, good service, staff are always welcoming. Good value for money. Excellent menu. Everyone is made to feel special, and are well looked after.

Just enjoyed a wonderful meal at Rushall Balti,been told many times how good the quality is,so had to try for myself,and I wasn’t disappointed. Food was fresh, full of flavour and delicious,naan breads were freshly baked,light and tasty, well kept pint of Cobra beer to boot topped off by excellent service at at a ridiculously low price. Definitely returning as was very impressed.

First time we used this restaurant and had a take away, it was awful!! The popadams were horrid the oil they were cooked in was pass it’s best and tasted terrible! The Nan bread was like the ones you buy from Asda and the chips were far to oily. The curry looked like a stew with a bit of curry powder!!! Apart from all that the mint sauce was beautiful....

My daughter has just moved into the area so we decided to pop out for something to eat. If you drive here expect to struggle to find parking as it is on a very busy, and complex, multi-traffic light junction on a very busy road. There is parking around but all on open street, two wheels on pavement variety outside residential houses or take your chance on using closed businesses drives, etc. Only two other couples in there when we arrived. Place is bright, well presented and clean. Staff are polite and food choice/prices are reasonable but the service was really slow, especially considering it was empty. What should have been under an hour was getting close towards two hours and we had a fifty mile drive home afterwards.....

terrible ,do not visit.i suggest the chinese next door are far better value.drivers expect tips when they arrive.which is usually late.nan breds are overpriced and are rubbish.

Had a few lovely curries here the food is always hot ,they always cook whatever you want it’s never any trouble such a lovely warm atmosphere and the staff are so friendly

Lovely food nice eating area friendly staff a little pricey but overall great night here went New Year's Eve lovely food they put on free naan breads to compliment your food you can take your own alcohol or buy from there bar but drinks are a little pricey but a great night out

Food is fantastic and the staff were wonderful with the children, treated them like adults, lovely atmosphere and good quality value for money. I will definitely be returning to this establishment. Take your own drinks too!!!

The wife and I have passed this place many times but never noticed it being busy. Parking is a bit awkward in the tight busy roads nearby and I am sure trade suffers because of this. It has been here a long time in one form or another and I am thinking it must rely heavily on its take-away trade. First impressions are of a very clean and well presented modern themed restaurant. Our waiters were pleasant and welcoming although I bet they would have loved more to do. The menu offers all your typical dishes but unfortunately I didn't notice anything "unusual" to tempt me. We shared an onion bhaji starter which was very nice. Our mains were good especially the chicken which was excellent, tender and moist. The wife's balti and my Naga curry were very lightly spiced compared to most of the places we have visited. This style is down to personal preference or dish selection and reading other reviews is probably not an issue for most. Our side orders were very good. The prices are excellent here although a few poppadoms will rack up the bill. BYOB is a big bonus and if needed I noticed they have beer on tap.

I like sitting in and I like taking away from here. Very nice food, great value for money. I like a Curry and this place delivers a good one. Good stuff

The food was lovely here ,and you can take your own drinks which is a bonus ,only a stones throw from our house takeaway is very good as well .

Tuvimos una comida muy aceptable aquí esta noche con unos amigos. Aunque no parece que haya artículos vegetarianos entre los medios en el menú, nos dijeron que podía servir cualquier plato como una versión vegetariana, así que no hay problema para conseguir comida para vegetarianos.

Best Indian food in the area , albeit not the fastest service . Not much atmosphere but nice enough place . Worth the wait tho cos the foods great .

Utiliza este restaurante balti cuando era un simple para llevar hace unos 15 años cuando vivíamos en la zona por 6 años y la comida siempre era buena y nunca he tenido ninguna queja. Luego nos cambiamos de zona y nunca he encontrado un sitio que podía igualar. Fue en el área de nuevo este fin de semana y tengo que decir que sigue siendo tan bueno como lo recordaba. Rushall Balti habilidades bien, muy recomendable.

Mi marido me llevó para una comida para celebrar mi cumpleaños hoy tuvimos una muy buena comida el personal era muy atento y educado. Como ha sido mucho tiempo desde que han disfrutado de un comida mucho sin duda volveremos

Have visited about once a month for the last two years and never been let down. The food is top quality and the staff lovely people.

I had a Tandoori Special which came with salad. The meat selection was well cooked and plentiful. The only down-side was that I asked for sparkling water, which was only sold by the bottle. Unfortunately it had lost its sparkle! They were unable to replace it as it was the last one. They offered alternatives.

Please bear in mind that I have visited and championed this restaurant for years however it is now the expected standard to have to wait for hours on end and their customer service is anything but abysmal!!!Great food, awful service from an advocate :(

Have now visited Rushall Balti on a number of occasions and love the food, service and atmosphere! Me and my partner wanted to find a nice, quiet, friendly Indian, and we have certainly found that here. The service is prompt, and the staff are very friendly. The food is delicious, can tell it is freshly prepared and cooked with passion. The restaurant itself has a nice modern vibe and is spotlessly clean! It is also reasonably priced. You cant ask for much more. Will definately be visiting again!

Hi, visited Walsall for the weekend and stumbled on the Rushall Balti. It was quiet but we fancied an Indian. We were not disappointed prompt polite service, lovely food at a very reasonable price. If we were in the area again we would return. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Really good hot food, a bit slow sometimes but the food is always to a good standard for takeaway food which can be indifferent from other places.

Ate here for the first time just to try it out as a change from our usual indian restaurant down the road. We ate in. When we arrived it wad 8pm on a Saturday night and we were the only ones in. My meal was delicious however my other half found hers quite bland. Keema naan had plenty of meat and the arabian rice was very tasty and full of flavour. What let the plave down was the service. Although everything was served at a good pace the staff themselves were very quiet and didn't seem very confident. One of the waiters only had about 3 teeth which was a little off putting. I also didnt like the fact that a large group of people turned up about 20 minutes into our evening and were sat right by us. I would have thought they would have been taken to the other side of the restaurant as we were a couple wanting a nice quiet and romantic meal and they were in for a curry before going out on the town and wanted to make considerable noise. Although my main meal was amazing (lamb tikka chat) the general experience was below par.

In the past big up rushall balti been ordering for many many years end of not anymore .always collected as much quicker for the second time wrong order given .get home and we have someone else's order .In all fairness they delivered 30 minutes later Almost the correct order but not quite. Decided to phone and let them know because at the end of the day how do we learn to improve without input was told"we do our best that's all we can do try us again."sorry but to get the order wrong twice not acceptable .kismet in Bloxwich next stop

We booked for New Years Eve. We were one of the first tables in, and though it got busy, both in the restaurant and takeaway, the food was just as good as usual. Staff are pleasant and friendly too.

The restaurant looks very nice, clean and modern and totally put of place as there's nothing else open round it apart from the chip shop next door. I've never seen more than 2 people eating in which is a shame because it would be busy if it was in Aldridge or somewhere apoplectic actually go out to and not stuck on a main rd by the traffic lights on Rushall lol

Have visited several times and always get a warm welcome. I had the North Indian garlic chilli chicken and my partner the golden chicken curry. Both thoroughly enjoyable and in a pleasant atmosphere with warm friendly service. Highly recommend for an informal curry.

Ordered food for delivery 3 times and every time it was late by at least 1 and a half hours we thought it may just be because our house is hard to find so ordered for a fourth time food was again 1 and a half hours late I kept calling and they kept on saying ten minutes until it finally arrived we have now decided not to order again !!! Terrible service

Used the recently opened Rushall Balti on Pelsall Lane for a takeaway on Saturday. I found the standard of the food to be excellent - it arrived on time, perfectly cooked and of a very high standard. This restaurant is also a sit-down restaurant. I hope they continue their high standards - it will become a firm favourite!!!
