Dog food place overpriced rubbish food staff miserable idiots why are they still open should been shut down long time ago they are better places to go in Walsall wednesbury don't use this place bun and peri next door is 10 times better than this crap chunky chicken

I can only speak for the piri fillet burglar meal. Phat !!!! Juicy tasty excellence. “Wham fillet “. Struggle to finish it. You get what the name suggests. Chunky chicken burger. Chips pretty nice too ,,grande portions. They must sell other crap that lets the reviews down. I’ve had the odd bad burgar but very rare. I’m there most days tbf. Could be they sort me out. Compared to everywhere else in area it’s head n shoulders above the rest. Nice guys too that work In there. Never no rubbish. No waiting. Awsome for £6.50 plus a drink. Can’t be missed if u like a fat taste piri burgar

Absolutely VILE!!!!! Got the 4 chicken wings as a meal. This came with a sprite and chips. Chips were overly salty and didn’t have a nice taste. The chicken was Horrific it tasted absolutely disgusting like it had been sitting open for days it tasted ROTTEN!! It’s also smelt really bad I don’t what it was but it completely put me off. Also they CHARGED ME EXTRA when I gave them a 10£ note. They charged me 4:50£ when it said 3.50£ on the leaflet for 3 wings . When I asked he was rude and snappy. It was also filthy and the seats were ripped. I won’t be coming here again and I won’t recommend anyone coming for the wings and chips. Horrible food and service. Couldn’t even finish it.

It’s disappointing that I’ve tried food from here that was nice however the donnor kebab I ordered was so terrible. It was cut so thick like big salami pieces, tasted like frozen donner. Chunky chicken should stick to chicken not chunky donnor slices.

There is a young chap by the name of sully who works behind the counter, his age is between 12-14 and this is absolutely horrendous due to the hours he works of child labour

Fried chicken nicely seasoned and not dry. Always get the bucket to feed family which is relatively cheap and value for money. The in-house chilli dip is not too tangy or spicy but just right for my liking.

Peri peri whole chicken at £10 a pop is reasonable in todays Britain. But the chicken is not marinated properly inside. It was just plain, tasteless chicken inside.

Absolute nonsense of a place and very rude staff picked up an online order and it was incomplete after I took it home then another online order placed for delivery this time and it’s been 90 minutes and yet no food when we called they lied that we had asked for a later delivery when we actually ticked deliver ASAP liars

Please do not go here to buy any food. This place is the worst chicken shop I have ever been the service was poor the person was rude and acted towards me as If I had caused him a convenience for being there as his customer. The fillet in the burger was cold and rubbery the burger was full of mayonnaise absolutely disgusting worst burger of my life. I had one wing and I nearly was sick it tasted off it tasted rotten So I threw the rest of the wings away. Awful.

Amazing chunky chicken branch! This was my first time trying Chunky Chicken and it certainly won’t be my last! I came from London and stayed over at my Uncle’s house in Walsall and was surprised by how reasonable the prices were! Where I live in London, you won’t get 10 wings with 2 medium fries for £5 that’s for sure! The customer service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and efficient! The food was amazing! The wings was hot, piping fresh and well cooked throughout! The wings were bursting with flavour and was definitely well seasoned! I really enjoyed their wings and I must say those were the best chicken wings I’ve had in a while! The flavour was epic! The wings were aesthetically pleasing and were of a great size! Chunky Chicken is going head to head with KFC that’s how good their chicken wings are! They are honestly better than Dixy who are further down Wednesbury Road.The fries were amazing. They were fresh, crispy and delightful! Overall, I am very satisfied and I will definitely be ordering from here when I visit my Uncle in Walsall! I strongly recommend Chunky Chicken to you!

Bland and cold burger and wings

Ordered from just eat, the driver didn’t turn up with my food, so I rang up and they immediately sent me my order again no problem, the rice wasn’t what I was expecting I loved it! And the peri peri chicken was beautiful, they even chucked in extras to say sorry! Love this place

Never got the phone call from the driver. Been said that phoned me x10 but i didnt get even one notification or a misscall. Only the message that the food is on it's way. After calling the restaurant i have got shout at for not picking up the phone, when i just politely asked if food is going to be late. RUDE! I have ordered there almost each day and got treated like a dog. After asking if the driver can deliver (probably already cold food) back, they said that i have to pay for the delivery. NEVER AGAIN ORDERING FOOD THERE !! good job you have lost a loyal customer.

We (Euro Car Parts) stumbled across this place a few months back. We don't order from KFC any more. The food is always Hot, arrives in a timely fashion, portions are decent and great value for money. the dipping sauce that comes with meals out of this world. Always the right level of spice. Can't recommend these guys enough.

I have been a chunky chicken regular customer for years.( which of course implies I love their food) their peri burger meals are delicious. But recently I’ve noticed a decline in the quality. The chips were rock hard and the chicken in the burgers was very dry and hard. The whole order seemed like it wasn’t made fresh. I called Chunky chicken regarding this and I was told nothing could be done. Customer service was disappointing as well. The person I spoke to didn’t have much to say. Quite disappointed to be honest as customers we expect brilliant quality

So far so good, though have to tell them no salt on the fried chicken as there is is more than enough in the batter mix. Can always add salt from home but can't ever take salt out of a meal.

I have ordered from Chunky Chickens many times and we have enjoyed the food but today’s experience was really bad! When we looked at the peri peri chicken platter which we ordered it looked so weird and tasted tasteless. Their rice was not the usual rice and the cheesy fries were so salty. Beef Burger and the chicken mini burgers weren’t too bad. Spent nearly £25 for nothing, chucked most of it. I normally don’t leave reviews but today I’m so disappointed I can’t believe the quality, won’t be ordering from there again.

It's like making 3-4 drops of dipping sauce in an entire sauce, selling for £0.30 with just the bottom of the cup. I bought 5 cups of sauce. but not yet combined 3 cups if pouring all the cups together The head of the shop, please check with the staff. Not selling, but taking money Should pay more attention to the buyer.

We order from here as when we first came across it, we couldn't fault it. Ordering through Uber unfortunately twice now we have stated that we require an item to be clear of salad and especially cheese due to an allergy. 3 times now guess what cheese not one bit plastered. If they answer phone they just make excuses. Also send normal meal when pay for large. Very dissatisfied as when they read orders and get them right the food is brilliant.

What an unexpected find. Found this lovely take away with small inside eating area when going to watch my son play football at nearby stadium and wanted a quick bite. Delicious freshly cooked crispy chicken with rice and cheese balls, just what was needed. No hot drinks. Helpful staff, off road parking.

The guy in the grey t-shirt (who told us his name is Ali) was very rude! I had both my brothers with me and he spoke to us in a rude manner and looked very aggressive. Once everyone had ordered there food he refused to serve us. We will not be going back due to him

I love chunky chicken. Their food tastes so good and the service from staff is amazing. Literally the only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because 70% of the time I eat here I get sick the next day. Ive become unwell so many times after eating here that I’ve actually stopped eating here which saddens me a little. Also my immune system is weaker than most.

I’ve had chunkys often. The chicken is good quality and you can tell that it’s real chicken. They have really fast delivery! It’s also reasonably priced.

I order pizza from Chunky chicken quite a bit and it’s very nice, BUT tonight i ordered a 12” Meaty pizza as per usual, as I was eating i saw green spots on the bottom of the pizza. I then quickly checked the bottom of the whole pizza and it was covered in mould spots. I called the restaurant and they sent out a new pizza but didn’t seem sorry at all. I am very unhappy with the mouldy pizza and their response, i asked for a refund and they said they can’t give me one. What an embarrassment on their part. What happened to treating the customer with proper respect, I just ate mouldy pizza and can’t even get a refund?! I’ll get over this soon but damn I’m disappointed and will order elsewhere from now on.

Inferno burger meal is really good. It’s my go to place when I’m in Walsall. Depending on who serves you, they usually try to charge you for a sauce even though you buy meals - 50p for a half filled tub is just ridiculous! What would you rather have - I don’t come back or give customers the sauces with their meals so they’re coming back? The brother with the beard and white patches on his beard always treats us good and has fantastic service, he’s a good lad.

Such an unprofessional disgusting service, when you order from them and you are in a location where they have to put a ticket on to park they refused to deliver, they had to drop food off to me and could of parked for 30p for 20 mins but the delivery driver drives around with no money and couldn’t afford to put a ticket on, there attitude stinks and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone,

I came today and asked for a half chicken meal. When I picked up they said no drink. Really? £8 for half a chicken and fries. Ok so I thaught it’ll be tasty. They call this peri peri?? It’s steamed chicken swimming in disgusting herbs and water. Utterly disappointed. Daylight robbery

The shop is very unhygienic while I was there waiting for my order on of the staff sneezed and he did not cover his face. The customer service was bad the wings was not good the were not cooked properly you will feel sick after eating 2 wing. Same with the burger. I would not eat there again.
