Good products if difficult to find given unhelpful staff, mostly. Better have delivered save the hassle. Staff more interested on what they did last night than helping us find a department. Food appalling still in the 70s. No gf except chips. Eat elsewhere. We go to smashburger 100m away rather than suffer ikea food. A map of the store would be useful as the numbering and naming not clear at all. It was never as bad as this. Lost some of the Scandinavian magic.

Lots to choose from....great for ideas......personally I think they're getting a bit pricey

A place to get ideas for your home as well as a good place to shop every household item. Good quality and not affordable but some prices are reasonable. It takes roughly around 2-3 hours to walk around the entire store.

The interior is clean, but the quality of the furniture sold corresponds to the price...

First time in this one and have to say it's amazing. Clean and tidy and the staff were so friendly. Eleanor in the restaurant was was really kind and lovely. Will definately be back.

Came to Birmingham from Nottingham to collect an order just under £700. Sat at Click and collect for over 2 hours. The person who was sorting the order half picked it and went home. Luckily I am a very patient person and kept very calm and collected. The lady who dealt with me was very pleasant and just didn't know where to put her face when she had to tell me the above news. Not her fault and hats off to her for facing me with such unprofessional news. If I could give less than one star, I would. Still have to drive back to Nottingham yet and it is currently 2120 after arriving at 1920. Email reads 1800 - 2000. Very unprofessional.

Got a bed from here, that did not break whilst i was having a hardcore lego recreational session. I shall be purchasing more high quality furniture from this store. 10/10 will recommend

Update: Sally from Customer service sorted out everything and was on the case with investigation. I am satisfied with the outcome and this restored my trust in the Ikea organization. ================ I have recently made a significant purchase of furniture from Ikea, and have scheduled a delivery date. Upon the arrival of the first van carrying wardrobes, I received a call and immediately started unloading the items into the hallway before taking them upstairs. Another phone call from the next van driver came in five to ten minutes later. The conversation started with him asking for directions to my house. However, he had trouble finding my house. Eventually, I had to wait for him outside when he was two streets away. Two people arrived from the second van at the location. The driver of the second van greeted the staff from the first van and engaged in conversation with them. Meanwhile, his coworker opened the van door and began unloading the sofa boxes. The second van driver returned to start unloading the couch. He requested that I open the cardboard box as it wouldn't fit through the door. However, I assured him that it would fit. He then began to shout that the hallway was obstructed and threatened to leave the sofa outside. This was because the wardrobe furniture from the first IKEA vans was blocking the way. I informed him that the first group of movers had finished unloading and would bring it up to the second floor in 3-5 minutes. He replied that he wasn't willing to wait. He was yelling and angry, not speaking in a normal tone. After refusing to wait, he took pictures of my property. I then suggested he move the sofa through my side entrance. Then, he looked at the side entrance house and shouted that the Bins were blocking his path and he couldn't deliver the package. I suggested that the bins could be easily moved. However, he responded in a condescending tone, ordering me to move it and implying that I should have done so before his arrival. When I moved the bins, he became unhappy and refused to deliver the boxed sofa to the room. I was completely shocked and started arguing in response because I felt disrespected. I had agreed to the service and did not expect to be spoken to in such a condescending and disrespectful manner. This was the first time in my life that I had been treated this way. My wife came out of the house holding our 14-month-old daughter, hoping to calm the situation. However, upon seeing the problem, our daughter began crying. I asked my wife to go back inside the house, but our daughter continued crying for more than 24 hours due to this incident. We are still shocked on how our daughter was terrified. Meanwhile, the second van driver put the sofa boxes back inside his van. I asked for his name, but he refused to disclose it. When I asked for his employee ID, he also declined to provide it. Then, the oak door from third delivery never got delivered despite showing that it is been delivered on their system with a signature which i am sure it is fake and still waiting. They refused to send me pictures as apparently they took a picture and didnt show me my signature. It is a chaos .... I made a complaint and never heard back and didnt get the money refunded for the third delivery !!

•Same as every other Ikea. •Disappointed with the Swedish meatballs, chips and peas. The warmest thing on the plate was the gravy 😕 Meatballs and chips were luke warm and peas were cold. •Chairs in the restaurant are soooo uncomfortable. Th backs of the chairs slope too far back so there's no way of sitting down or getting out without disturbing people behind you!! And the benches are too low for kids and uncomfortable for adults!!

This store is what you would expect of any Ikea store. It's large, great displays etc. etc. Large car park and easy to get to.

I visit this huge store maybe twice a year. Always a good experience. Well signed within the store and the staff are very friendly. It's very easy to overspend so an element of self discipline is necessary. The restaurant area is good too and there is much more on offer than 'just' meatballs (even though they are good).

We used the "click and collect" method and it was super fast. We ordered a shelf unit and we were able to collect it next day. When we arrived there it was already there and ready to go. Super fast, and super easy :D

A huge Ikea, spread over two levels. Loads of parking, but the car park fills quickly after opening at weekends and Bank Holidays.

IKEA now offer free delivery to a local pick up point in Worcester at a supermarket on the Wardon Villages. It's a brilliant service and the guys and gals there are absolutely fantastic.

I bought three wardrobes from here and the lady (Julie H) who designed them was amazing. She deserves 5 stars. The only downside was the trolley which had a mind of its own.

I ordered a custom made worktop in April and it was not delivered on 2 separate occasions. Glad it wasn’t a complete kitchen. Really poor aftercare and complaints procedures. To purchase from the store is ok. I would not order anything I couldn’t take away the sane day.

It's got a lot of useful stuff but we all know once you're in, give up you will never find the quickest way out. I'm surprised there isn't a Dr who episode where he is stuck in IKEA

Beware. Had my van broken into on the car park whilst inside the store. Whilst reporting it to security, there was another guy reporting his van had been done too. The staff said its a common problem.

You could spend so much money and time in here. If you haven't visited IKEA, you haven't lived. The restaurant is excellent and everywhere is kept very clean. It's definitely an experience.

Absolutely massive, plenty of variety and the route through it is well laid out. Lots of signage and opportunities to pick up the yellow bags throughout, staff available nearly every where and they're happy to answer any questions. Only downside was how busy it was, makes it impossible to get round even with the "one way" system in place (projected arrows on the floor), bit of a faff picking up the flat packs due to the size and uneven flooring, self checkout was a bit cramped, car park is well labelled though, don't be expecting a quick exit in any way shape or form.

A disorder that is not understood at all, it seems like a labyrinth of rooms. We ended up tired from walking so much and we couldn't find what we went to buy. Ample and free parking

Despite being cheap and easy to order to ikea, the product was dramatically let down by a long wait to collect, the system breaking so that none of the items were then notified to staff to say they were waiting to be collected and then finally sent to an outdoor tent which was locked. Told to knock loudly… to no response. Painful experience.

I visited IKEA Birmingham 18 May 2024 at midday. I arranged to meet my wife at the car after some retail therapy. I have had Parkinson’s for 12years and today was the day that my body chose to Freeze and I was unable to move. The IKEA team were fantastic, I was supported initially by 3 team members, then 2 first aiders who sourced a wheel chair and took me to the first aid room where I was able to contact my wife, self administer my rescue medication and sit quietly until the Parkinson’s effects wore off. Still providing top notch service the team wheeled me back to the car . It was great to see such positivity and team cohesion. I could not remember the individual team members names, but would really appreciate if all those involved were thanked for first class service. Thank you V

My mother and father (both in their eighties and not in the best of health) were looked after so well in the restaurant by a certain lady around 2.30pm today. She helped them with selecting their food, opening a till to pay, guiding them to their table and getting their hot drinks for them...and asking if they'd like a refill. They felt really looked after and were made to feel special....many thanks for looking after them this afternoon (Friday 17th May)..you absolute star 🌟...thank you 🙏

Brought a kitchen here 3 years ago and it has not failed me yet! I really do like ikea. Nice little trip there, nice little maze inside and good staff and people. Swedish food is great, I really like ikea veg hot dogs and yo desserts. My only problem is that your store doesent have a smell to it. Like it just smells of cotton. Great place !

I went for my click and collect and then stopped for some meat balls. I had the plant based and my wife the meat ones. All very cheap (£4.8) and good. I purchased a super king size bed base wich was very simple to ensemble and robust. Collection was fast. My trolley was ready so I just got it from the employee and then load in the car.

Great place for breakfast! If shopping for household items, I try to visit during the week, as it gets mega busy on the weekends.

Haven't been there for a long time, I was disappointed with the room displays and the overall ambiance throughout the store. I remember it was vibrant and overall welcome and encouraging for design ideas. We had a meal at the restaurant, the self service drink dispensers defied to play game with me and other people alike. The food choice was limited and clearly not to the standard on my previous visits. It's a shame I was disappointed with the drop in standards and lack of inspiration. It was raining outside it felt as though it was raining inside. So perhaps I'll try another time and hopefully the displays and standards will have improved.

Typical IKEA, friendly staff as always, plenty of parking spaces and nice food at the restaurant at reasonable price. Went to the restaurant on a Saturday, packed but the staff were still friendly and patient, impressed.

My 1st experience of shopping in IKEA & I wasn't disappointed!

Disappointed. After being "sold" on the idea of using IKEA for a new kitchen in a rental property following a presentation at an NRLA meeting at the Wednesbury store we went straight from the meeting to the kitchen department and saw AJ to arrange for someone to come and measure this Friday at 4pm. They were to email me with confirmation but none has been received. I called and the message told me that my call would be answered with 5 minutes. I have been on hold for 23 minutes so far (I will hang up now). IKEA said they have ramped-up their kitchen service and that is better than Howdens - sorry, but you are nowhere near their standards ....

It's ikea - you know what ikea is. Pretend you live in multiple different rooms, have some fun. Then buy some sweedish snacks and drinks

Went for a bathroom cabinet and got just what we wanted. Lovely and sturdy. Now to redecorate due to ne cabinet being narrower and longer than the one that broke.

Terrible service. Very rude and unprofessional service in the returns team by a guy name Owen. Also their mattress return policy is ridiculous you cannot try out a mattress. You can only return it for money back if you have not opened it. They will only give you a voucher. They said we have signs up saying you cannot refund you if you buy it and open it. But I or my family did not see any, as well as I was not informed by the salesman in the mattress department. Very poor service. I don't want to shop here again....

You know it will be busy but staff work well, bargain furniture easy to build and just works well.

My favourite place to buy furniture

I recently bought a kitchen worksurface which when I opened it, somebody had used a wood filler to repair some damage or flaw, the wood filler wasn't even applied well and stood out like a saw thumb, I drove 22 miles to pick this item up and struggled to get it home in my car as it was 2.4 metres long. I tried to contact Ikea to tell them about this but was (and still am as I type) on a chatbot for well over 45 minutes with no reply from a human, I tried calling but was met with a message that the weight time would be over 30 minutes, looks like to me that Ikea are happy to take your money but not very happy to sort out issues with your purchases. very disappointed as I have shopped at ikea for years and have spent thousands with them during this time.

Jodie at the wednesbury branch today was so helpful. She went above and beyond and ran all over the store to find us what we needed. Thank you for your amazing service.

People spend the day in here , it speaks for itself

When you go to enquiries to book a delivery the staff down there are not helpful at all. Had a young man mumble and point, then you're left to wait around for ages while the staff chatted and gossiped. Can't stand this place. I left a little annoyed.

Do not ever make online delivery! I do not want you to fall into their unproffesional work ethic. They went through DPD who's in charge for the delivery, which is also unreliable. Although the address which I log in for delivery was correct, my parcel was irresponsibly delivered to the wrong address and status now become 'delivered'. If they have a doubt, they can always make a call, but this was done without making confirmation to customer at all. Very dissapointed.

Good place to buy all your furniture needs. If you plan to visit in bus. Prepare to do your journey in day time as the walk to the bus stop is very long and on a busy highway.

Ikea is very important shopping place for you family you can find here sometimes something you would not expect

The stuffs great but my god it takes forever to get round , make sure you take a pack lunch for the trip , I think your done and there's another part to look at them another then another then another and you start losing your mind !
