very good stuff there, much better than it used to be quality wise

Spoke to a lovely chap calledJacob. He was helpful both today and last week when I was shopping for a swivel chair for my seven year old granddaughter. He was able to tell me what chairs were in stock and what colours and printed out form so we could easily access where to pick it up in downstairs warehouse. I purchased an office chair last week and again he was very helpful - unlike three people we asked for help and neither one of them could be bothered to show us where chairs were located. Too busy chatting! Anyways thanks again to Jacob,so pleasant and helpful.

Sold us food that was inedible and wouldn’t allow a return. Such a disappointment from a usually reliable company.

Only go for the food poor quality furniture for extortionate prices

Usual convenience i've come to expect from Ikea. Lots of stock and the food isn't bad either. Expect to be there a while, browsing and buying!

Perfect place to get some good ideas. I am using three beds, two wardrobes and many other furniture bits from Ikea. I would say that the designs are good. Furniture is long lasting only if you make the furniture according to the booklet provided with the furniture. Ikea has good lighting section where I would find good lamps. Indoor plant section is also good but plants are bit expensive. Do try the clearance section which is just next to check out and some time u find good deals.

I saw something strange that I guess you are not aware of what you’re doing. I saw the invaluable Persian handwoven rug were folded improperly under the shelf of one of the tables so dusty although the prices were over 1400£. but the ugly machine made carpets are hanging beautifully from ceiling. Do you know what you’re selling really? So you put away the valuable Persian rug which took a year to be ready so badly and then you hang the machine made carpet? are you serious?

I was not happy with my visit today at IKEA Birmingham. Firstly the food in the restaurant was so cold. fish, chips, French fries, tomato sauce and even the vegetable soup was cold. Secondly, there is no exit sign in both floors and we got lost and we went around about 30 minutes to find a way. There are many fire exit signs, but you can’t find a way to the cashiers. It is so confusing and has lots of maze.

IKEA itself is good with a variety of different products but its restaurant needs looking after and regularly checked as the food they were serving (fish and chips) were rock solid and inedible. There are never any available options to choose from and staff always seem fed up and don't want to be there. They never listen carefully to your order and just want to get you over and done with immediately. I'm not happy with the quality of service here in the restaurant.

Good place to shop for various reasons

Great value and style - but try to avoid the busier times.

We returned doors & drawer front through the buy back scheme today absolutely brilliant. Sharon in living room area was so very helpful, mocking up of the replacement fronts we wanted & not once did we feel rushed when we were changing our minds. Finished off with a cheeky meal of meatballs to complete the visit. Also was nice & quite arrived just after 2pm perfect.

Great IKEA! It has everything you need. Store is clean, tidy, and plenty of parking.

Made the mistake of going here on the weekend car parking is horrendous and traffic is horrendous. I know there’s not much Tall can do quickly but long-term surely they can build a multi story car park on top of the original car park or do something also the restaurant needs to be a lot bigger. A lot of people use it as it’s good quality but needs to be bigger.

Just like any other ikea. It’s ok

Nothing better than sitting at the cafe window, and watching someone cram a fitted wardrobe and three kids into a hatchback.

All items we wanted in stock, good value fish and chips. Quite a maze walking through store.

Nice IKEA shop in the west midlands, large parking area, helpful and friendly staff, food Hall and cafe options are good . The only downside thing once you entered the store, you have to walk all the way to exit kinda maze runner style 🫤

Been here many times - IKEA best for range of furniture and household items. Their restaurant had good food too. Prices have always been good even if it has increased a fair amount since Brexit and Covid which I wouldn’t blame them.

This store is massive. Couldn't find my way out 😃 everything you need. Staff very helpful too

This place is alright. Firstly,they have got lots of furniture which includes sofas,beds,chairs anything you really need! Also, they sell food from chicken strips, meatballs(classic Swedish food), ice cream and a bit more. Would recommend. The only reason it's not 5 stars is when you go into the store to the furniture, you can barely get out.

Always love ikea … but disappointed there was no meatballs at the take away cafe at the end thou please bring them back they’re one of the best parts :)

I would most definitely avoid eating from the takeaway downstairs. My grandson slipped on something in the food shop next to the take away. Yes it was dried up but with a tea towel from the take away section. This was then put on the counter top before then being placed over the handle of the hot ovens. Yes a dirty towel used to clean a spillage from the floor placed on the oven. For your own health and safety avoid. Said towel in pictures attached.

Nightmare. To much to see. I was exhausted . Not for the feint hearted.

Don’t bother if you have any problems. Over an hour queuing to try see someone in customer services. Plenty of people milling around ready to sell you something but two people to do returns, spare parts, and customer services. As ever no interest in customer service.

This is quite a good IKEA but I found the starting point, projected floor arrows, difficult to find in a store I'd never visited before. Well stocked and suitably busy, this is clearly an asset to the Birmingham region... and I bought a nice 2 cup tea pot too!

Local IKEA store the usual frustrating rabbit Warren layout you get at all of this Swedish giants stores. But ample parking and the store is clean and well stocked. The staff are friendly knowledgeable and helpful.

Usual IKEA offering: huge store with a massive range, huge free car park.

Well... after a long time decided to have a meal. Ordered meatballs with chips plus gravy as usual. Gravy was so runny like water, without any taste. Tasteless meatballs. What a shame! Never again!

Well worth a visit, you can spend hours here, they sell furniture for every room, kitchens, bed linen, lighting, plants, rugs, all kitchen utensils, etc. There's a restaurant and a huge carpark.

I generally try to avoid IKEA Birmingham lately , I prefer to go to Manchester Warrington IKEA but I was so happy in IKEA Birmingham today. I got a chair and stool today. There was a lovely lady at the sofa department she was absolutely amazing helpful with a big smile. At the ground floor all guys No 2 desk guy was very helpful. There is a desk for bulky items and another smiling and helpful lady. In the past nobody help me to load my car. I loaded king size mattress alone but someone helped me to load my little arm chair. I love it !!!! Be careful with plant base sausages, they’re tasty but somehow the bill hits the roof, I’m not sure it’s worth but taste is good

Great customer service and good quality with amazing prices

The store is incredibly aesthetic, making it a joy to walk around. Each section feels like a little adventure, with beautifully arranged displays. The items are not only cheap but also stunning, offering a great variety of styles to choose from. I loved how they incorporated lots of greenery throughout the store, adding a refreshing touch to the environment. It felt like I was exploring a mini oasis filled with beautiful home decor.

Went there for lunch. What surprised me were the options. Almost phased out meat from the menu. Veggie meatballs, veggie nuggets and the likes. Other than that good quick and cheap lunch option.

Great place for all your household needs. And a lovely cafe/foodhall with reasonable priced food to enjoy after your shop.

Looks like ikea feels like ikea it is IKEA. Takes a bit of time to get there especially on the weekends from Coventry, time in traffic is mainly into the businesses park where is IKEA. On weekends the car park is completely full so it is hard to find space to park, if you don't have see the furniture buy it online 😂

click and collect, best idea yet

Went yesterday to pick up a few bits - my Lordie-Lord !! Sunday's are busy there & they design the showroom so you're trapped in until the end. Got everything I wanted tho & as always at a good price. 😁

Didn't buy anything stuff seems reasonable priced.

It's all about the food 😋 potato and leek soup daim cake Then a little spend up in the department that sells jars pots knives etc...got new frying pan (didn't need it) got new roasting tin (didn't need it) 2 more spice jars 1 chopping board (you know I didn't need these) oh and a plant...who doesn't need a new plant. Few christmas decs not so good this year Ikea !!! Saw full moon off car park... 😊

It's like a day out.. you can spend hours here nevermind get yourself lost its that big. But it's got everything you need.. cafe has nice fish n mash and the meatballs yum

IKEA. So good. Full of innovations and ideas. Happy to spend three hours looking round. Found what we needed. Had lunch. Salmon and veg and coffee at unbelievable low cost. Wish I lived closer, I would eat there frequently.

My order was meant to be delivered 7/10. I never received any notification. I called on the 12th & I was told MY package was delivered to my neighbour at no.6 . I never selected the option for this & I never got any confirmation that my package was delivered. There are several no 6 houses around me. I asked for the exact address & the agent said it just says no.6 , she couldn’t provide me with any helpful information. Then she asked me to contact DPD. I do not have my package till today. I’ve been going about knocking like a debt collector because I purchased a product from IKEA, it won’t happen again!

Had over 100 items to be delivered. Very very rude delivery driver. Even though we had booked for everything to be delivered as we have vulnerable people in the house the driver said I don't want to deliver to that room on first floor. I would never thought buying from ikea over 20 years I would have such an experience. IKEA has gone down customer care does not exist anymore.

Enjoyed the visit! Only negative was how hard it is to find things. Everything is spread around, couldn't find a specific lightbulb or kitchen scrubber without having to ask. Kitchen pan I wanted was out of stock.

It was sooooooooooo mega packed in here will definitely not be going again on a Saturday afternoon we just got what we wanted and got out of there and car park is terrible as people were moaning there wasn't anywhere to park.

Omg first time here yesterday never again will i come back even tho the ice cream was nice and at 75p core complain 🤣. I felt i was in a art gallery the way you have to walk round and the way the shop is lay out 🤣. Great idea with arrows lit up on the floor . When i got to the rug section and saw the rugs hanging up instant reminder of the helter skelter slide and the matts they gave you to go down 🤣 just my personal opinion on them . Found the car park just to has confusing . Not my kinda shop at all . Gave 3 stars for the ice cream
