Holly Bush in Coventry

This place has one of the best taste of Indian food in Coventry. Friendly staff, fast service, good rates. Place is suitable for friends, family or parties.

We were looking forward to End of term school meal with friends on the Thursday as I haven't been here for years. In the restaurant we were the only ones and the place looked empty even at 7:30. When we got to the restaurant we were not told about this new rule of putting our number plates in and then to find out most of us got a £100 fine which was ridiculous as this should also be sign posted. I spoke to the guy and showed him my letter and he said he would sort it but I had a letter today saying they stl want £20 I understand the restaurant is not doing well but this is no way of making money from Customers so people please be aware of this place, absolutely disgusting.

Went with family to our favourite curry house in Coventry. Once again the staff were welcoming, the food was fantastic and the service was excellent! Can’t recommend this place enough. You won’t be disappointed!

Attentive staff, clean and well decorated dining area. Food extremely well priced, and fresh. Stuffed naan bread is a must try, will be returning. Great place to get some Asian food.

Excellent food and service, generous portions at very reasonable prices, staff are always welcoming and friendly, we go there regularly and never disappointed, just one small gripe,warm plates before bringing out.

Excellent meal as always and at an easily affordable price. The four of us all had different meals and they were all delicious. The service is second to none. The staff were professional, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We’ve never had a bad experience or meal and go back regularly.

Just been to the holybush for my son’s birthday. Waited over an hour for food, to come out cold and inedible. Food was appalling we ordered a mixture of dishes, none looked how they would usually look! Thick sloppy and tasteless! Told the waitress my food was cold… to be taken away and whacked in the microwave! No apology and never to return again to ask how everyone’s meal was… we were all sat there clearly not eating anything!!! I shall not be returning again! If anyone of my family members are ill this evening from this, I shall be reporting this to health and safety!

I used to dine here 20+ years ago, and decided to return. Very pleasantly surprised. The curries were excellent and very well priced, considering to rich, bread and accompaniments too. There were 4 of us curry aficionados present and each of us gave the food top marks. The chilli cheese naan was noteworthy. The chef is Nepalese… another surprise! The sauces are rich and not watery or oily. Thank you Mr Singh( owner) for welcoming us back! See you again soon

Humble service, was very pleased with the staff greeting, felt very welcomed, ordered the mixed grill, Chicken Curry, Lamb chops and a side of Chips. Food was very tasty and the owner was very polite to throw in a free round of drinks upto £10 for the special occasion of my daughters birthday!

This Chicken tikka masala was unlike any we’ve had before. It was nice but wasn’t made with any creamy coconut milk so was quite spicy, we was given some natural yogurt to cool it down. The nan bread was amazing. Our table was left half cleared. They had added another tables drinks to our bill. Service could be greatly improved.

Ordered jelfrezi. Madras hot. Came with one chunk of onion and two pieces of pepper. Was also charged 50p to have it madras hot!

Been here tonight for the first time in approx 5 years... Food was delicious, the chilli cheese naan was amazing!! The mixed grill was plentiful and the curry was thick and tasty! The front of house staff were also friendly and very welcoming will definitely be back for a return visit very soon.
