The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in South West

A fabulous place to stay nothing to much trouble staff friendly and professional I stayed 2 nights in a upstairs studio looking out to sea I have travelled to many countries but the uniqueness of Bryher and particularly the Hell Bay Hotel is second to none the rooms and furnishings are of a very high standard and all the meals I had were cooked to perfection.

Really nice. The bagels are delicious with lots of different filling. I asked for something not on the board and they happily obliged. We also had cakes which were delicious too. I had a cardamon bun, like a Chelsea bun but nicer.

Great welcome and some amazing fish overlooking the harbour. Some delectable wines and amazing Cornish Gin. The grilled scallops simply the best and the Newlyn Crab quite perfect. Do not forget the desserts-the Fig Tart with Rum Raisins tasted out of this world just beaten into second place by the Pavlova. The staff really cared and with a small number of covers allowed for really effective delivery of fresh and well cooked food delivered to the table with perfect timing. Argoe deserves to star in Penryn.

We had been advised to try out Oz Restaurant by several friends and we were not disappointed. We were made to feel welcome the minute we were through the door and nothing was too much effort. The restaurant itself is modestly furnished - more like a bistro - but that added to the charm. The menu offers a god range of dishes and everything we had was full of flavour and well presented. We chatted to the owner who said they use local food as much as possible and organic where available and in season. Finally, the price was also modest. We will be going back

We visited here when on holiday. Food was fresh, home cooked and excellent value. We returned 3 nights in a row! Portion sizes large, good selection of choice. Good, home cooked, honest food.

Looked delicious. Ordered two pre-made sandwiches and coffee and paid. Although there were only two people seated at a table, all the tables were dirty. We picked up the sheepskins off the floor and sat at the table nearest the counter. We waited, several other people came in and were served. After 15 mins and several passes the waitress said ‘Oh, I’ll clear this up in a minute’ after another 5 minutes we went to the counter and asked for a refund. The waitress said, oh, the order didn’t come through, this has happened before! They were too busy chatting to notice.

This is such a great restaurant. The tapas style format works so well. Every dish is a 'star', I have never ordered anything off the menu (or specials board) in my numerous visits that I wouldn't order again in a flash. You can taste the passion and skill that award winning chef Tim Zekki places into his food. Tim is ably supported by great front of house staff who enhance the dining experience combining fun with an in-depth knowledge of the menu. The restaurant is 20 covers so is intimate, discreet and comfortable, with great (and well priced) wine list. A real treasure!

Very pleasant visit here, service was really great, cheese scone was amazing! And sat outside on the terrace in the sun, perfect!

A quick stop, only bottles ales, draught lager and cider. The food looks great and a fab price, although as per normal, we don't eat out. At the bar, a local lady said the food was fantastic and from what I saw , I cannot disagree. Lovely welcome from the barmaid with the colourful hair!

This place is an incredible local cafe serving excellent homemade food with great friendly service. The Christmas decorations this year surpass anything I have ever seen in a cafe. The food is good quality and reasonably priced. If you are in the Upton area this cafe is a ‘must visit ‘. Mark and his team go the extra mile to make everyone welcome.

Ubicado en un edificio clásico de Bath, el restaurante cuenta con dos mitades a las que se accede al entrar por la parte posterior del restaurante y volver a la parte de atrás para la segunda mitad. Las habitaciones se envuelven alrededor de la puerta de entrada principal y la escalera al edificio (la puerta está separada para los residentes de arriba). Nos encontrábamos con amigos y esperábamos una buena noche. La comida no me decepcionó, sin embargo, nos pareció que el servicio era un poco desdeñoso y excesivamente lento, no había ninguna posibilidad de sentirse apurado. Además de eso, cada vez que se abría la puerta, estábamos sometidos a una ráfaga de viento helado. Have eaten here several times in the last few years and find the Hood Arms consistent in the high standard of their food. Recommended.

We had supper at the recently opened Circa in lovely Totnes last night… brilliant in every way… they encourage you to have sharing plates which works well… the food is superb and save room for the unusual fudge desert… all the staff were great!…I highly recommend this great new addition to Totnes!
