Really good value and for us we think the food is better than the places with a more glitzy interior on that road Portions are generous, it's freshly cooked and staff are friendly. Definitely going again.

I love Ali Baba’s, whether to come in and eat or for takeaway! The food is SO delicious and fresh, the meat is juicy, the rice is buttery and the salad is so tasty. Their home made baklava is a winner too. The staff are always so lovely, and when you go in and eat they give you a Turkish tea to finish off your dinner, it’s is so nice and special 🥰 Bear in mind the place is cash only, but there is a cash machine a short walk at the local Tesco ☺️

Poor quality kebab. The only thing I would recommend from this menu is their bread. The doner especially has a grainy texture and always seems underdone.

Good food large portions and cash only. Excellent chance find in Charminster. Lahmacun excellent as was the Turkish breakfast. No frills or fancies in the restaurant but excellent, courteous and quick service.

For £3 to have such a great lahmacun is a treat especially when it is round the corner. Hummus really tastes so fresh and nice- this is a great place to visit. Great value and a little gem that will and should be around forever.

Came to Bournemouth for the night and was passing through Charmister on way to our hotel and stopped on Charmister Road to get a bite to eat. Chose this place as seemed busy and food looked nice. Definitely wasn't disappointed. It's not a Restaraunt but...

Busy Tuesday evening so service was a little slow. Lamb was wonderful and the chicken very good. Generous amounts of side salad and a decent pitta bread. Nice tomato and cucumber salad with a round of flat bread. Good value, healthy honest food.

We went there expecting a Turkish specialties , there is nothing Turkish in this restaurant , over cooked meat and too much spices on it ( I m a chef ) , No hygiene as two of the staff were smoking outside before we came in , they went straight to the kitchen after and they did not wash their hands . I rather have a ready meal than eating here

Excellent food, excellent value for money, massive portions. They don't sell alcohol here but I think they allow you to take your own with a small corkage charge. All cooked fresh for you

Had some friends over from London , we thought that will go for tack away. as we always we go for petza or KFC, we thought we will change . go to the place shope was full of people, that was a very good sign that food was nice . we place a big order of mixed grilles and kufatta kebab alnog with there Turkish petza or as they say lam u can.plus stares. i would say i was very happy with the service from the staff of Ali Baba . and food was soooooooo tasty. id recommend this place all the way .well done to them.

Very nice place, the food is good and value for money. It has got simple and authentic features. Soups are very good, all food is nice and fresh. Service is very quick, and I would defo recommend the place to everyone.

This is a really good Turkish resturant /cafe .... its basically takeway with small restuarant I had mixed kebab and was really good !!...place was clean, serivce was excellent and really good value for money..will defiantly again.

El lugar es bastante básica sin licencia de alcohol, pero la comida era genial y raciones enormes así que realmente una buena relación calidad-precio. El servicio era rápido, pero un poco secos y parecía que preferimos los lugareños a los visitantes pero quizás estamos lado que.En general una buena comida por menos de 15 libras, una ganga!

Estoy teniendo un buen Doner Kebap cada ahora y entonces de este lugar. Me gustan las raciones y los precios, así como la calidad de la comida. En otras palabras, si eres un barato **** y quieres un Kebap, este es el lugar.

Conocer amigos sobre una base regular aquí. La comida es siempre perfecto, no te dejes engañar por las apariencias. kebabs turcos con una variedad de arroz o ensalada. Es realmente delicioso y baclava genial después de la cena. También hacer uso de la posibilidad que siempre es excelente también. Vale la pena una visita.

Nos recomendaron este lugar por unos amigos y no nos decepcionó. Las porciones son enormes (pero nos gusta esto!) y los sabores son deliciosos. La comida es una excelente relación calidad-precio, hemos ido 3 veces hasta ahora. Yo recomendaría probar el Baklava, es simplemente precioso. El restaurante en sí es bastante simple, sin florituras, pero esto solo se añade al encanto, su enfoque es sobre la comida y el servicio, tanto de las que tienen derecho.

Come at least once a week and dine in for chicken shish with rice and salad followed by Baklava and Turkish tea. Its very basic inside but clean .Recommended

Un amico arabo mi ha portato in questo ristorante e, ad essere sincera, ero un po' sospettosa all'inizio (anche per via dei prezzi bassi) ma è durata veramente poco. Non è il solito "kebabbaro" che possiamo trovare in Italia: c'è un'ampia scelta di piatti tra carne, verdure, piatti vegani, zuppe e il tutto viene servito molto velocemente.

The place is nothing special, the look of the restaurant is just like another kebab shop but despite all the downs of this kind of restaurants (no alcohol, very little choice,...) the place is a good place to eat.

I think that it's really hard to describe this place. It's sort of like a Turkish cafe. There is limited seating, but enough to make for a great atmosphere. It serves the most amazing food and is superb value for money. You will really struggle to spend more than £10 a head for three courses. It's simple Turkish food, but everything is packed with flavour. The service is first class and really friendly. They don't serve alcohol, but there are plenty of places near by to pick up a bottle of wine etc.

I love eating here. Shish kebabs are large and delicious, served with tasty rice, very fresh salad and pitta. Complementary Turkish tea while you wait. Always bustling with local crowd, basic tables but quick and friendly service.

You know its good when the place is filled with local Turkish people. The veggies were fresh and the portions were great considering the cheap prices. They also offer Turkish pizzas which are perfect for small children and only cost a few pounds. My wife and I have been quite a few times.

It's not exactly a restaurant, but the food is amazing here, especially considering how low the prices are. The meze, chicken and lamb shish kebabs, soups and daily specials are always freshly made and so delicious. I also recommend the kuru fasulye (Turkish beans).. if they have any left!

I have been to Ali Babas twice now and every time it's been fantastic. The food is great and really fresh. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would really recommend this place it's a hidden gem. You will be shocked at the cheapness.

Was taken here last year by a friend and thought he was playing a joke on us. It's a take away with a few wooden tables. However.....the food is all freshly cooked, great chicken and salads and the mere if fab value for money. They do various different starters and kebabs and if you like Turkish food it's fab. There are many middle eastern and Turkish people who are regulars here - I think that says a lot in itself as they return regularly...some of them daily to eat. If you just want great value for money and no frills then this place is a gem. It is always busy summer and winter and consistently good.

In a road lined with restaurants with a multitude of cuisines, this one stands out for its good value. When we arrived, all the other customers seemed to be Turkish, eating or drinking Turkish tea, which must be a good sign.
