Fantastic food, generous portions and the four of us ate (and ate well) for under £50. Haven't been here for a long time but still same owners and still great service and food. Lovely!

Great food, good quality, and reasonably priced. Love the fact you can either have rice and salad with your meal, or chips and salad. Don't fancy a meal, then a wrap is just as tasty. Never go anywhere else for my kebabs, eat in or takeaway, it's never a disappointment.

We went around 5 o'clock on weekdays. We waited half an hour for orders. Very slow service. It was a complete disappointment. Although we ordered lamb shish and lahmacun, we did not like either of them at all. Especially the thing sold as lahmacun was too hard and bad to eat. I won't go again when there are better ones.

Love this place, lamb shish is lush - chicken wraps lush. Bit pricey but they us good ingredients, cooked really well with lots of flavour plus it's healthy

Spent 13 quid in Boscombe at a well known kebab shop and it wasn't a patch on what i got at ali baba . For seven pound fifty , large done, rice and salad ,chilli sauce , garlic sauce and curious staff . I will be back to try the rest of there menu 😋

Best Turkish food in Bournemouth. Never fails. Amazing staff.

Large portion of food that was so salty, couldn’t finish the plate, told the waiter and was very rude about it and did not resolve the issue. Half way through speaking to him, he simply walked away from the conversation. Very rude. No card payments and while bringing a friend from the US we were not able to pay. We suggested alternative methods he began getting frustrated that we did not have cash. Maybe worth an audit on their taxes for this reason. When we complained about the salty food, one of their customers was also rude and said the food isn’t salty to the waiter and decided to take sides with another customer instead of staying neutral and apologising thereby invalidating our experience. Very disappointed and ruined our day. Will not return here!

The interior looks like a traditional take away but the food is extraordinarily good, the atmosphere is social and friendly, and the price is dirty cheap!!

Very nice and comes with either rice or chips. Rice was perfect and had a nice flavour to it. Definitely recommend

Food is super tasty as always, friendly staff, plenty of seating. Turkish pizza is my choice always, but they put the price up from £2.50 to £3... inflation 🥲

Charminster has many restaurants, and Ali Baba looks like just another kebab shop. Facade is pretty unremarkable. However, the welcome was superb, the service was friendly and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. Highly recommend the mixed Mezze, which is huge. The kebabs we had (one Lamb Shish, and one Lamb Mezze), were juicy, tender and flavourful with that all-important sweet flavour that only charcoal imparts. Lightly charred to absolute perfection! Salads freshly prepared and appetising. Portions ample and very reasonably priced. We travelled all the way from Pokesdown as we'd heard this is where the locals go. We will be back!

Following my ponder I ordered to find that my choice of dish wasn't available, I ordered again another two times and the dishes were also not available. I ordered a large Adana Kofte, which was pink on the inside. My friend ordered a mix kebab, came on a plate the size of the food. No space for manoeuvrability, was a task to eat having lost most of his rice however careful he tried to be. The food is reasonably priced and quality reflects. I will not be eating there again.

Great charcoal cooked kebabs. Always busy with Turkish diners. Phone ahead to order - makes it more convenient. Cash only though and can be very crowded.

I have been to many places and I have tasted different food, but I have not eaten such good, fresh and visually made food. Grilled chicken Shisha lick your fingers !!!! the rest of the meals are full of freshness. I sincerely recommend eating here 12 times and coming back again because it's worth it.

I called here as I googled kebab houses in charminster. Was told they don’t do delivery even though if you Google it, it clearly states that they do. Man on phone very argumentative and rude.

Amazing, as I live locally me and my friends get a Keto Donner twice a week, just ask for no chips or rice cover it in their home made garlic mayo and pow, instant food of the gods! Great portions for at least £5 😁🤩🤩🤩
