The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in South East

Quick bite to eat before going to the cinema and lucky we got there when we did as queues out the door when we left! Only a small restaurant, but looked like may have had extra seating upstairs. Usual good food of a Nando's, but is quite pricey. Still, happy with the standard of food. Good service, staff were attentive and you're able to order on the app now too so no need to stand in the long queues that were waiting to order.

Dined here on Friday evening (13th September). It was very busy and we were informed of a wait, however we were given menus to browse and there were seats spare to sit on. The wait wasn’t long though. Great front of house, I think her name began with an L, super friendly, kind and helpful. She made us not really mind waiting because she was so nice. Food was good, nice atmosphere and would come back if in the area again.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE IF VEGETARIAN! Ordered vegetarian wrap on two separate occasions, both times they arrived with chicken in. Also, half our order didn't arrive. Disgusting.

Food was alright but the lady who served my wife I and taking our order and serving our food was absolutely fantastic Her smile and helpfulness made a below average meal very good I just wish I could remember her name

Food and service was excellent sadly atmosphere was very noisy due to the number of school kids who were in.

The hotel is an ideal location for a lovely meal in Guildford, right in the heart of the town. The service was friendly (and fast), and we were made to feel very welcome. Food was great - will come back again.

Absolutely love this place . First visit ever .. had two dogs with me .. and felt at ease the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful.. which I haven't seen in ages .. would certainly recommend a visit .. food lovely too

Not the best food and overpriced. Staff (or at least the old guy charging not nice). Food was actually pretty bad, the stout beer was so bad that we didnt drink it although the bitter was nice but still unacceptable. And also minimum on card is 5£ and they dont take amex so basically you cant pay for one pint of bitter with card because its 4£ that is quite sad. Honestly dont recommend probably best to try nearby places. (i went for food only btw)

Nice location, friendly staff. Diet coke and lime cordial served in large wine glasses, no ice! Had to ask twice for a jug of water. I ordered lamb chops, which were nice, but accompanying veg very meagre. My wife had steak but didn't want the chips they came with so asked for extra salad - this didn't seem possible as salad was very small when it arrived. Pitta bread also insufficient. Dessert menu = one option, baklava. All in all, rather disappointing.

If you're craving a kebab in Ashford, Topkapi is a solid choice. They're seriously quick with delivery, and the food always arrives hot. The salad is always fresh and crisp, making the whole thing a real treat. I wouldn't order a kebab from anywhere else!

Whoever the staff member was in the evening of 18/09 with a ponytail was amazing. I don't know if she was a manager but she seemed to be doing about five different jobs at once as if it was easy!

In and out in 45 minutes. Starter main and drinks. That's the order they came out but that's because the staff behind the tills were very busy. We ordered through the app

Spencer and his crew are always fantastic! The food and service are both outstanding! And Spencer does such a great job of supporting local farms, etc. to support our communities to add the freshest ingredients to his regular menu and daily specials. I appreciate everything Cafe Rowan tries to do! In response to a review of Cafe Rowan from a few months ago: The review of the service is completely wrong. This is Portland. We help each other out. We have several “please bus your own dishes” restaurants that are fantastic! A little help from patrons to support local restaurants by bussing your own dishes into a provided bin goes a long way. It helps keep staffing costs lower; not to mention it takes only a few moments of your time, and it provides a little exercise which is a good thing after indulging in all the delicious food you just consumed!
