Nando's - Kingston Centre in Milton Keynes

We ordered one chicken in pitta and 2x kids meals. The meals were delivered without any drinks and we had to find someone to ask for this. We then started to cut up the food for the kids and eat the pitta wrap and all the chicken was freezing cold. This was rectified pretty quickly, however it put us off the food. We ordered 2nr kids meals which were exactly the same and only one of them came with a corn on the cob. After eating for 25mins of eating a server had come with the drinks we ordered at the start asking us if this had already been dealt with or if we ordered more. Now if we didn’t ask for these at the start these would have taken 25 mins to arrive and we were pretty much finished. Not a very good experience and won’t be coming back. Not worth the 40 min wait to be served cold chicken.

As always the food is enjoyable. On 4th Apr the staff said that they cannot provide the milder sauce , found that a bit strange. One person in our group cannot take and hot or medium sauce, no mild options were available. And the food getting a bit expensive here.

Had extra hot but wasn't that hot, normally gulping the refills but not this time, not sure what happened, maybe I'm immune now!

It took one hour for my food to arrive.

Reasonable selection of chicken dishes, plenty of seating, decor a bit warm, service not great. Plenty of parking.

Indulging in a cheeky Nando's is always a surefire win. With its flavorful peri-peri chicken and inviting atmosphere, you simply can't go wrong. Whether it's a casual meal with friends or a quick solo bite, Nando's consistently delivers delicious satisfaction.

Really decent for Nandos. For was nice, hot and tasty. Service could be a little more friendly but general atmosphere was good and lively.

Typical Nando food, very good. Young server staff, but very welcoming, a good visit.

Trust me when I say this is the BEST Nando’s in the country! Manager Shane runs a very tight ship and every time he’s on shift, everything is perfect. Konrad - one of the waiters - makes the experience even better, super polite, friendly and constantly checking and assuring everything is to your satisfaction. Finally, the MASTER GRILLER Shaheem… every time he’s running the grill the chicken comes out absolutely perfect! Chargrilled on the outside, nice and juicy and moist inside! Even the breast!! Can’t big this place up enough! Go check them out

The food was good, though service much less so, we ordered our food and drinks through the App as recommended, our drinks didn't arrive until the food did 35 minutes later and only after I prompted the server to do so.

From ordering to receiving food it took 50 mins and that’s after I asked to bring at least the kids food out and then a further 10 mins for the adults. Either they forgot about us, prioritised app orders or mix of both. Staff seem to require a little more training but in this climate most establishments are happy to just have a body in their uniform. This Nando’s is a little tired and could do with a deep clean aswell as a frequent tidy during service time. Manager was helpful and earned the extra star for this visit. As there’s another 4 nandos in Mk probably won’t be back here unfortunately as it’s conveniently located. Probably back to Pizza Hut.

Standard Nandos, slightly expensive chicken cooked probably to your request of spice (assuming they have it!). The staff were very almost overly encouraging for you to order in the app, probably because the app told you what was out of stock rather then them having to repeat themselves. Sadly there was no garlic bread on this day!

I loving going to nandos but unfortunately would not recommend this one for eat in. The wait time after ordering the food is more than 30 mins. It’s because the team is more happy to serve the online delivery platform than the eat in orders. I saw orders after orders being processed for delivery platforms and all eat in orders being delayed. The staff is really rude and not helpful. I think they should just close eat in and make this a cloud kitchen to serve delivery platforms. When the food finally came after 45 mins it was undercooked and my wife ended up with food poisoning.

Ordered food through the app, when it arrived there was 2 items missing and the rest of the order was cold. Namdos solution was to reimburse me for the missing food and 25% of the cost of the remaining order. Now have a microwaved Namdos for dinner and waiting another 45 minutes for our reorder to be delivered, oh and we had to pay for the delivery again.

Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience - Severe Food Poisoning!! AVOID THIS PLACE- I regret to say that my recent visit to Nando's was by far the worst dining experience I have ever encountered. If it were possible to give no stars, I would. My family and I suffered severe food poisoning after consuming undercooked chicken, leading to a distressing and challenging time for us all. The undercooked chicken not only ruined our meal but also resulted in serious health repercussions. My entire family, including my 3-year-old son who suffers from diabetes, experienced such severe food poisoning that my children had to miss school. To date, my little boy has not fully recovered, amplifying the distress caused by this unfortunate incident. The lack of proper food preparation and the subsequent health consequences have left a lasting negative impression. I feel compelled to share this experience to caution others and hope that the necessary improvements are made to prevent such incidents in the future. I sincerely urge Nando's management to prioritize food safety and customer well-being. Never had a Nandos before, and I was really impressed with my food. All the staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Normally I do enjoy Nando’s, however my experience at this specific restaurant was below average. I won’t comment on the wait for the food as we were informed at the door that there was a delay, however once the food had arrived, I attempted to get some cutlery in order to eat my food only to find none. I asked a waitress who told me it would be maybe five minutes or so before the cutlery would be ready, which is understandable although that was not the case. The cutlery was not available for another fifteen minutes which left me to eat my food (otherwise it would be cold) with nothing but a fork, and for someone with braces, this is not something convenient. Additionally the waitress at the counter didn’t even say hello, and seemed rather unimpressed that we were trying to order. When I go for a meal I don’t want to feel guilty for inconveniencing young staff members who do not care to give the bare minimum of a smile.

Food was nicely cooked. Been a while since i’ve experienced this food quality in Nando’s. However, the staff seem to be very confused. Something missing from the orders and other requests have been forgotten and had to ask multiple times.

Very good service from their staff, good food. I like their phone app which makes ordering your food and paying for it very straightforward and easy.

Staff requires smile, willing to serve customers when customer needs help, seats needs to be checked and replaced as not comfortable to sit at all and can see visually the tear on leather seat. Need to be correct on ordered items, had error 3 times in just one dinning evening. Food is OK.

Chips cold, staff mot attentative

I really do not enjoy Nandos any more, feels very lifeless being made to order on the app, food is average. Staff are very helpful, we arrived as a group of 8 with no booking on late Saturday afternoon and they managed to find us a table. Only disappointed in the ordering process the company has decided to implement. Interaction with a waiter/waitress is part of the experience of dining out but maybe I am "old fashioned".

Ordered online, selected 7pm to collect. Arrived to find a substantial crowd blocking the entrance and turned out these were all takeaway collections. There is no waiting area except in front of the entrance door? Was kept waiting for 30 mins. Food was cold, item was missing, very angry customer here, and I was not the only one judging by those around me. Do not recommend, best avoided.

Nandos Kingston never disappointed us. The food is always good and very nice atmosphere. Plenty of free parking. Waiting time is high (30-40) minutes on busy days but the food is delicious and worth the wait.

I waited over an hour for some dry chicken... Never going back.

This maybe the UKs worstestestestest nando's? I've been going nando's since it first opened....at one point I think we would go twice a week...maybe more if we were in tour. You couldn't go wrong....until tonight. Table for 1 and I waited 20 minutes for a table. Lad on front desk couldn't speak more than two words to me. Then no WiFi or 4g so couldn't order off app. Me and 3 other customers stood by the tills for 10 minutes and were ignored until someone said "do you want something?" Yes. Order food please. Ordered double chicken burger with cheese and Pineapple, peri chips and drink. Waited 10 mins. Got pitta burger and chips. Reordered. Waited another 10 minutes. Same meal but on burger now ...and I mean THE SAME MEAL....10 minutes later so cold but on burger. Sent back. Finally got right order. Chicken wasn't even flame griddled just some pasty wet watery chicken. I ate it. It's been a long day. Avoid Milton Keynes.

Waited about 2 hours and they forgot to even cook my food

Food was good as always but service was slow even tho restaurant was not full as kitchen had the food ready on there counter but to arrive to the table took more than 15mins.

Usually Nando’s chicken is spot on. For some reason here it was a little dry. Wouldn’t put me off going again though.

Had quite a long wait for food, then they ran out of the frozen yogurt.

I know it's nandos and it is what it is so it feels weird doing a review but Sara was just so lovely today that I felt like I should give her a shout out. I use walking aids (crutches) so getting around in a restaurant can be a bit of a faff but she was so attentive and helped me before ever being asked. With every little thing that is normally an issue that people without walking difficulties don't usually consider she was on it. Just a simple example: she said she'd follow me over to the table instead of going first. Which seems like nothing but when you're slow and in pain people don't realise how much pressure it puts on you to have to match someone else's speed especially when navigating tables etc. And she was just as considerate for the rest of the time I was there. I did not have to get up once. She was a gem.

The food here is what you expect from Nsndos. Reasonable quality for a reasonable price

Staff at this branch try their best while coping with extreme amounts of online orders & in store customers. While not always the fastest there is no denying the staff work very hard to do their best.

I'm a regular at this Nandos with my family.Staff are always friendly.The food is great,my kids love the Nandinos meals.Ive never had to wait very long for a table even when it's been busy..

After returning from our 20 minute wait we were told we had to wait another 10 minutes despite there being at least 5 free tables. This, apparently, was because the kitchen was running behind so they were not wanting to take any orders (probably due to the Uber orders judging by the queue of delivery drivers). Once inside and after queuing to make our order I was told there was no Garlic BBQ glaze so had to return to our table to check what was wanted instead. Trying for a second time I tried to order broccoli as a side, again there was none. I amended the adult side but from the children’s menu I was told I couldn’t change to peas as they weren’t on offer despite my son not liking the other options. Whilst these may seem minor complaints it was the attitude of the manager who made our decision to leave and eat elsewhere. Not only did he make customers wait outside in the cold despite there being free tables but when I questioned the broccoli situation he literally shrugged his shoulders and said ‘coz we ran out’. An order of customer service lessons needs to be added to their Garlic BBQ glaze and broccoli list!! One major positive was Ian, the poor chap on the door who had to relay his managers ridiculous instructions to customers. He remained polite, courteous and kept good humour. Nandos might want to look at a managerial position for the staff who know how to deal with customers!!

This was an ok visit on a busy friday. Two of the meals were cold when we got them while 2 were ok. The team were apologetic and returned it to the kitchen. It came back piping hot.

The restaurant has been going downhill. Despite having lots of staff and the restaurant not being very busy (we got there at 6pm on a Tuesday}, we had to wait 25 minutes for the main course and 20 minutes for the ice cream. I saw them drop an order ticket on the floor, then pick it up, taking it over 2 plates of food and put it back on a plate to be served. Not very hygienic... The burgers are very small.

Frequent visitors, but first dinner experience was busy. Food took a while, better for lunch. Still enjoyed the good food.

Haven't been to Nandos for o er twenty years. Was a bit uncertain when invited out. Shouldn't have been! It was fantastic - great menue, great service and value. The staff were brilliant. Sara and Zane served us and they were wonderful (I'm sure all the staff are super but they were the two staff members serving us). I'm definitely hoing again, soon, and taking my wife there. Thank you.

Always get great food and speedy service

Possibly the worst nandos restaurant i have ever visited. Please note, nandos replied and apologised for the speed issue but that was not really the only problem! We arrived at about 7:55 and waited at the door for a good 5 minutes before i saw any staff. Was eventually asked by a member of staff how many in my party and was shown to a table "Been this branch before mate" i was asked, to which i said yes and we sat down Since we knew what we wanted, i ordered online via the app, which was ordered and paid for at 8:04 At 8:15 i went to the counter to ask if my order had been placed for our table. The same staff member looked confused, asked another member of staff and then told me "yeh". I asked if we were to wait for the drinks or would they come with the food, and again they asked another staff member who told them to give us the glasses which they did. Took the empty glass to our table and went to get sauces and cutlery. There were only two napkins left in the holders which i took. Around 8:35 our food was brought over "it's hot" we were told. That's the last we saw of anyone. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else, nobody came and asked us if everything was ok and eventually at around 9pm we left The food was not bad, but the service was generally the worst i had ever experienced in any nandos restaurant anywhere in the uk 3 stars given quite generously Will not be returning

Food was good and quick as you would expect from Nando’s. The thing that jumped out here was how friendly and helpful all the staff were.

We were seated quickly and the tables were clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and happily accommodated my allergies. The food came quickly and was very tasty, all changes were correct and the allergies were labeled on the plate.

Visited here this evening was quite late but friendly staff welcomed us & freshly cooked our meals even though it meant they went over their time. A lovely man offered a starter too for whilst we waited for the food. Highly recommend based on staff & lovely food. Thanks

Went in, and asked when next table would be available, even though could see lots of empty tables got told 25mins. My sister in law went in with her baby to check 5mins later and straight away got sat down. Once ordered good came with missing items. Asked about getting them back, got told "will bring it now", and had to ask twice more to receive the missinh items. Kids were having frozen yogurt, got to the machine which was empty, made the staff aware anf got told would be shortly filled, after asking 3 more times with kids gettinh frustrated. Got told by a staff member that they had run out. But they woulf send a scoop of icecream to the table for the kids. After waiting for 15mins without icecream for the kids we asked again and got old the were going to grab it now and take it to the table. Another 10mins and no icecream so we left. I think it's a very unorganised restaurant

Standard Nando’s, you know exactly what to expect. Prices are a bit expensive but it’s good quality. Service was very quick. A side note, the Peri Peri Vusa sauce pictured below does not mess about, definitely give it a try!

I used to be under the impression that all Nando’s are pretty much the same but I was wrong! This one is by far the best one we have ever been to. We ordered our usual and it was the best one we have had, the chicken was cooked to perfection and the chicken breast wasn’t dry but most and melted in your mouth, the chicken also had a very good amount of sauce on tip and crispy skin. We will definitely make this our regular Nando’s- very much recommend!

Delicious food and great customer service.

I ordered takeaway from this Nando's, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Despite the restaurant being relatively quiet, I waited nearly an hour in the restaurant. The staff assured me multiple times that they would update me on the wait time, but unfortunately, they did not come back to inform me, clearly because they knew it would be a long while. The lack of communication made the experience even more frustrating. While the food was eventually ready, the long wait and poor communication left me feeling dissatisfied with my experience.

We went for a lunch/dinner for my sons birthday, one of my children has special needs and a disability making his very sensitive to noise and emotional in busy environments, which it is however staff here, especially a man Joe I want to point out was amazing catering to this enabled us to have a quieter area that made him comfortable and he was so helpful and kind to adapt for us I cannot praise the service enough! Amazing! And great food we all had a fantastic time xx

You can expect to wait if you go there during busy times like Saturdays or holidays , but the food is great

Had a 15 minute wait for a table - you get an SMS when it's nearly ready. Not bad as you're near the shops anyway. You can never go wrong with Nandos chicken 😉! Order your food & drinks at the till, grab your cutlery and favourite sauces & condiments, then wait for your food to be delivered to your table. Enjoy! Friendly & helpful staff, but cold atmosphere inside on my last visit.

Only been to nandos twice The food is ok but quite expensive for smaller bites such as a chicken wrap not somewhere I would choose to eat only went as my friend loves the food Wine in a can ! Cost the same as a bottle of wine

Turned up on mother's day, expected it to be incredibly busy, it wasn't as bad as we had expected but unfortunately they weren't prepared either way. Very little staff only 1 server on tills we were told a 25-30 minute wait for the food it was a 50 minute wait lots of items missing of the menu and basic stuff, garlic aoili, pineapple etc. When food turned up it was all on the wrong plates and the server brought over a chicken wrap instead of mushroom had to go back and fetch the right food. When they came to check on the meal the guy apologised saying they should have prepared better for the day and that he was having to do multiple jobs, which concerned me considering all the tables weren't even filled.

Nando’s is always a good dining experience when it comes to food. They were let down by the fact the very front door was an automatic door, and with the amount of people waiting for a table/delivery drivers, it meant it was permanently open, so when you get seated near the front (which we did) it was so cold.

Not the finest of the Nando’s. Not maintained appropriately. The food looks alright. All bottom less drinks are without fizz. Not very enjoyable experience.

Unfortunately, our experience here was very poor. We ordered for click and correct and arrived at a restaurant that was not particularly busy. Despite this, we had to wait 15 minutes past the scheduled collection time for our order. Once home, we realised that 3 items from our order were missing. Given the wait and the missing items, this service was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. I managed to speak to a member of staff and was issued a refund for the 3 items immediately which was good, but the member of staff never once apologised for the situation.

No timely service, burnt food. Bad customer service

Sat down and because of the constant footfall it is absolutely freezing in this restaurant, whoever designed the entrance needs a gun to the head, food has to be eaten super quick in case it gets frost bite Very disappointed

Food and service ok, they desperately need new chairs upholstery non existent felt like I was sat in a toddlers chair it was so low, and they need to ask the deliveroo drivers to wait outside instead of inside the doors which means they stay open all the time meaning anyone seated near the door basically freezes for the duration of the meal

The front of house staff and amongst the slowest, laziest bunch of ****s you’re likely to see in a ‘restaurant’. Always mess something up.

Abdul (the waiter) was really helpful and went above and beyond. All staff friendly and attentive.

Great enjoyed our visit to Kingston Nandos. It wasn't so busy, for that reason It didn't take long for our food to served. Staff was exceptional.

Easy to order using the app, festive special is very tasty, great service, lovely atmosphere. Very busy but it was black Friday weekend. Went with friends, easily found a table for 4.

We actually went to the Turkish /Mediterranean restaurant which has now replaced nandos. At the point of writing this, it had only been open 6 weeks or so and it has yet to be discovered by the locals. If they boost their public profile then they will do really well. Food was excellent and good sized portions, prices were at the top end of reasonable, but worth it. Service was good too and they were friendly. Decor was pleasing on the eye and unusual. We went at lunch time and it was very quiet but we can imagine the atmosphere if it was fuller. We shall return most definitely!

Ordered a takeaway, had friendly service at the desk however kitchen staff was completely incompetent. They messed up our order 3 times in a row!!! We finally got our food after an hour long wait only to receive it stone cold. Will definitely not be returning!!

Food was left waiting for 15/20 minutes before they served it. As soon as they put it down I asked for hot chips. Which I did get. They need more staff... probably won't come back. Food was good though other than being cold.

Updating as I've been to this restaurant several times recently (since moving to the area) and every time the staff's service is simply awesome. Chefs food is always spot on and the manager's running takeaway are always so pleasant and lovely to deal with. I've encountered 3 managers and all are top top top service so someone is nurturing a great team as this location. Don't bother with deliveroo, go pick up and enjoy a much better level of service. One very happy chilli jam loving customer, thank you!!
