Brasserie Blanc in Milton Keynes

Had a well cooked ribeye steak and nice bottle of wine. The food was great and the service and atmosphere was very pleasant.

It was a very busy evening with a group of around 30, but that did not affect the service at all. Our waitress Ellie still managed to serve our food quickly and efficiently and still have time for a pleasant chat. Like all the staff she is exceptional. The food as always was excellent.

I have been coming here for a few years now and I just cannot get enough of their food. Absolutely incredible. After seeing lamb shanks back on the menu we were invited out for a meal by our lovely family friend the lamb fell off the bone it was perfect. Honestly if you have not been, get yourself down for a visit ❤️

Really good place - food and atmosphere. Trout gravadlax and specials bone in ribeye top notch - and a wed night FOC bottle of vino with the steaks... not surprised to see the busiest place in the hub mid week...

This is a fabulous dining experience. Food choices were fabulous, and if you have ever heard the old saying, "You get what you pay for well what you pay for is delicious and fabulous value for money. The service was brilliant, the food was stunning, and it was packed out on a Saturday lunchtime. Would highly recommend.

Let's start by being positive... the food's great. And make sure that you have the Tarte au citron meringue (lemon meringue pie) it's gorgeous. It was very busy last night with some large groups in, and I don't know how typical that is, but that led to some very slow service with delays taking orders and between courses. The whole experience was tainted by the fact that they got one of the main course orders wrong. Disappointing. For that visit I'd really only give 3.5 ⭐ but have rounded up.

Great food, lovely atmosphere & superb service. The cheese soufflé & crab Bon bobs were both so tasty & our main courses were delicious too. We had the chicken in mustard sauce and the smoked pork - everything cooked to perfection. The star for me was the pistachio soufflé - absolutely delicious. It looked huge but was light & flavourful ❤️

Went here to celebrate a birthday and it was a thoroughly brilliant meal. The food was amazing and the specials featured that night were delicious. I shared the escargots with my boyfriend and it was my first time trying them so unfortunately, I did not enjoy the textures but that’s just me. They didn’t come in the shells, they instead came in a little dish which was a nice touch. I don’t know if it’s typical to have a special dish for escargots but it was still nice. For the main, I had the pork with dauphinoise potatoes and cabbage which was all cooked well and tasted delicious. The night we went also had a live jazz band playing which was incredible and made the atmosphere lovely and entertaining. Needless to say the band were very talented. The place itself is beautifully decorated and we all really enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning in the future!

Dined at 5pm before the theatre. Excellent value TDH menu. Staff showed true hospitality. Polite, friendly, attentive and relaxed. I regularly dine at Cote and Ivy restaurants the food and service was far superior to them. Well done and thanks tram MK.

11people group:The onion soup was over spiced.The main dishes was not tasty.Probably Chef was off that evening.Service didn’t pay much attention to guest . We had a speech going and it was interrupted rudely by staff,ruined moment. We left with disappointment

We have visited BB on number occasions and always enjoyed the food service and atmosphere. We had lunch on Valentines Day and enjoyed the visit.

This was trully an amazing evening for myself and best friend for our birthdays and our husbands.The food was A maze ing! The service was fantastic and watching the chefs cook which gave us delicious food were so impressive how they could cook plate after plate for a full restaurant amazing plates of delish meals with such high standards.we will definately be back again

Had lunch today with work colleagues. Really good quality, tasted fantastic; pheasant and steaks. Everyone was happy. Loved every meal I have had over the years.

Great atmosphere, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. You can see they take care of their staff and it shows in the quality of customeservice and the quality of the food.

First class 3 course meal with good service. Well presented plates in a nice restaurant. A pity toilets are up a couple of flights of steps. Highly recommended.

Visited for our work team festive dinner. I’ve never been before but it was a nice meal. Decor was lovely! Very festive. I had the poulet a la moutarde (chicken in mustard sauce) it was generally good! It came with mushrooms and green beans although only had a few on my plate and hoped for a few more as french food is quite rich. The chicken was lovely as was the creamy mash. Dessert i went for chocolate fuellentine - very dense dessert. Wasnt overly sweet because it was more on the dark side rather than milk. Generous portion for that it just may have benefitted from a little cream or maybe a few strawberries/raspberries with it to cut through the richness. It did come with cherries but my colleague had those with hers and said they were alcohol infused and im currently pregnant so didnt try them. I have a limited diet as i dont eat red meat/pork so there was really only a few options i could have so not sure options wise if i would return but it was a nice meal! Staff were friendly and polite. Toilets were ok too. Thank you!

Excellent evening celebrating our daughter’s birthday. Great atmosphere, delicious food and as she had signed up we all received a complimentary glass of birthday Prosecco. Definitely recommend!!

Our second visit was every bit as good as our first. An early Christmas visit with a friend brought us a wonderful evening in the busy Brasserie with terrific food, a delicious Beaujolais, outstanding service from an attentive team. What's not to love? Le Manoir is the pinnacle but the Brasserie is a worthy companion. Bravo!

We visit this restaurant every December on our annual visit to MK. We were fortunate to get Eli, our favourite Server. The food is great, and service excellent. Cheese soufflé and Pistachio Soufflé are our favourites. Well with a visit.

We were called the day before to confirm reservation and also to explain that they had a jazz band in, all ok with that Checked that we wanted the seasonal menu - yes. When we arrived, down our table given menus no explanation about items off the menu. Made our choices to be then told 4 items off the seasonal menu only one replacement! And that was meat. Limiting our choices. We were told that the seasonal menu was at an end and the focus was Christmas!!! Food was nice. But this definitely soured our experience, it was a special occasion meal too. We shall think again before visiting.

What a brilliant find for our family! We met up with friends here yesterday and it was the perfect settings. I was a bit weary considering the prices and the type of restaurant it was but it turned out to be so worth it. The staff were wonderful and dealt with our two young kids wonderfully. Our son has a dairy allergy and they were also very attentive to that as well. Very high praises for the staff working yesterday afternoon! When I mentioned I wanted my steak medium well, me and the waitress exchanged a look. We had a laugh at it and obviously it's like I'm killing all the flavour, so she suggested we do medium and I could eat the outer edges of the sharing steak as it's more cooked. She also said if I thought it was undercooked they could cook it a bit more. However I'm so glad I went with her recommendation, as the steak was perfection! I could have eaten the whole plate myself! Beautiful presentation. Wonderful food and service. We'll definitely be back again!

Enjoyed a lovely meal from their set menu as we had a voucher from Virgin Experience for 3 course meal with prosecco. Waitress first said we could order anything off the A la Carte, which we then questioned and were told actually no it's off a special limited set menu. We had crab and sweetcorn bonbons, cheese souffle, followed by pork, then pistachio souffle and apple and blackberry crumble. Souffles were amazing as was the pork and pistachio souffle, however the crumble although delicious had too many pips in for me but I understand some seasons are better than others. We also ordered a carafe of house white which I have to say after just returning from Greece prefer their size of carafe, why is the UK so stingey😅

Well you just burst the brasserie Blanc bubble ,we have been walk ins a dozen times ,today we got rurned away,so the kitchen staff could have a rest, just the two of us ,but got some big party's later so obviously can only do so much work in a day !!! Yes we were told directly your kitchen staff need a break ,so I assumed nothing ,am I missing something, you were open for business !!!

Very good service, especially considering the place was full. I wasn't too keen on the croutons in the hake dish but the fish itself was lovely. The hispi cabbage side dish is delicious. The pistachio souffle was impressive. It's not cheap but it's nice to have this kind of quality food that you don't see everywhere.

We went for a client lunch and we were the only table there so I cant blame the lack of atmosphere because of the time we went. I ordered the prawn and crayfish starter which was absolutely delicious! I'm sorry I didn't take a pic as the presentation was 5* and just so good. A great start to the meal. Unfortunately the mains was disappointing, it was the 8hr slow cooked shoulder of highland venison which sounded delicious, tender and juicy When it arrived, the presentation was 5* .. Unfortunately it was so dry and unappealing I'd rate it a 2. Desert was the pistachio souffle which was light but nothing to be excited about sadly.

Excellent quality of food, outstanding cooking skills. I was in this restaurant August, that was huge improvement.

We went here as a group of 10 a week or so ago, the food was nice but the service was really slow. It took us 45 minutes to get all of our drinks from ordering and the most complicated thing was a vodka and coke! All of our starters arrived apart from 1 of our parties that arrived when everyone else had finished. Also if you have allergies double check as it seems what is on the online menu is not correct in the restaurant.

This is an absolutely gorgeous restaurant and a great find. The customer service is excellent and the food is at a Michelin star/Rosette level but far more relaxed. The cheese souffle is beautiful, and the pork rib eye is to die for, what a dish! 😋😋 I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be returning when I am in the area again. 👍🏿👍🏿

Okay so this is actually a complaint that I am filing against the supervisor Brandon, to which I find highly disappointing, on arrival I entered the building of no understanding of if I have to wait to be seen, I was in need of the toilet and I could see as clear as day the sign on the door on arrival customer use only, I was coming in to book a table for my daughters birthday to which is Wednesday, so I entered to use the toilet because I didn’t know how long it would take to book so I thought I would go first then speak to someone only as I was heading to the toilet a ladie shouted up at the stairs to me so I mentioned I was just going to the toilet I won’t be a moment, as I left the ladies room I was then greeted to Brandon on the stairs case to which lead him to tell me to get out.. i asked him to repeat himself to then he said I told u to get out please.. to which he did not now as I explained that was no way to speak to a customer he said I wasn’t a customer and then went on to say come on off you go:: now at this point I just lost my thought of even wanting to book a table in such an establishment being spoken to in such a rude dismissive way I was defensive because of how he had approached me. It was highly embarrassing leading me out of the restaurant. Very demoralising and to be quite honest with you his role as a supervisor is shocking. He gave me no choice but to leave. I’m not a person to do this thing of reviews but I felt I had to raise this here and to hr because when I mentioned I would be Making a complaint he then went on to say oh please do.. I’ve made this complaint to hr but I feel the way I was greated on the stair case and being lead to the door was unnecessary and again very demoralising he made it clear to the whole restaurant I wasn’t welcome in the establishment without even thinking that I was there to book a table. Absolutely shocking.

Had lunch with my wife. The food was lovely and well presented and the service was excellent. Being non drinkers it is nice to have a choice of nonalcoholic drinks.

The second time we've sampled the Autumn A La Carte menu this year. The food has been great, staff very friendly and knowledgeable, and minor issues raised by my wife and I were handled professionally and satisfactorily. We did have a 50% of mains voucher for our 2nd visit but, even so, the full price of the main courses is, imo, very good. The other good thing is that food that is meant to be hot (temperature wise) is always hot in our experience at this restaurant, something that is important to us. We've normally opted for the prix fixe lunch menu on our lunch time visits in the past, which represents excellent value and I can also thoroughly recommend.

I had lunch in Milton Keynes Brasserie Blanc with a £100 voucher from the Portsmouth branch to compensate me for a totally inedible lunch there. However on returning home I found that a “ discretionary £12.15 “ had been added to my bill without asking me. I find this unacceptable and will not be dining in ANY a BrasserieBlanc again -either for the food, atmosphere or the service.

We visited Brasserie Blanc yesterday for dinner, and it was a good experience. We made a booking and arrived a bit earlier and was seated straight away. The place was quieter than what we've seen previously, so the order was placed quickly. The menu looked good with a lot of options for vegans and non-vegans, with a lot of fresh ingredients being used from family farms, which is good. However, the food and service were a bit disappointing. The starter of tomato salad and snails was perfect, but the mains took a very long time to arrive and left much to be desired. The Bouillabaisse was very much off the mark, missing the rich texture of the broth and had floating oil. The slow cooked pork was good but was missing a bit on taste. We did love the dessert, which was a pistachio and chocolate ice cream, a dream pairing. Overall, it is good value for money with some points for improvement.

It's good but it's expensive in relation to quantity/price. More than 50th for main course, glass and dessert.

This restaurant has always been our favourite since it first opened. Enjoyed a special birthday lunch yesterday. The food was very lovely, the service was perfect, very friendly staff. Always a good menu choice. The Sunday roast is always of very good quality. If you have not been to this restaurant before, give it a try - you may be pleasantly surprised.

Always consistent, brilliant choice menu, we have been visiting here since BB opened too many years ago to remember. Food is faultless as is the service, always with a smile. Easy free parking opposite in Sainsbury’s (remember the time limit). Would love it even more if the Loyalty Card was re-introduced.

We were treated wonderfully by the staff particularly when they heard it was our anniversary, and the food was delicious and good value.

Lovely 2 course birthday dinner for 4 people. We didn't know it was steak night but had 2 of us ordered steak we would get a free bottle of house wine. My daughter is dairy free and there were a few options available. I had the ham hock terrine followed by the king prawns with black rice. It tasted delicious. We had champagne, cocktails and a bottle of white wine. The service was excellent. The same waitress throughout who checked in during our meal. After we asked for the bill she brought a birthday plate for my husband with a candle and chocolate writing so we could sing 'Happy birthday'. It was a nice touch and a lovely surprise. Would recommend for celebrations.

Lovely experience, great service and the food was very tasty. Absolutely happy with our visit. Our server was very young and tall man, great smile and accommodating behaviour. My husband didn’t like the wine but we were offered other drink on the house. We went back the next day as the restaurant was very near to our hotel. Same great experience. Credit to the company

A bit disapointed, considering the price.

I've always liked this restaurant and used it for pre theatre dinners. On this occasion they had live jazz from 7.30 pm onwards and it was à great evening. The ALC menu has good old favorites, and I enjoyed rilletes de porc and confit de canard. I was surprised to receive an email voucher for a free bottle of wine as I left home, which I used but it wasn't one that I would choose again. Having said that, there are plenty of good choices on the list, and gift horses shouldn't have their mouths inspected etc. I'm delighted to know that there is another jazz evening in August and I'm booked in.

Service there and the staff was great. Wasn't happy with an order and got an alternative with no fuss, which made the dinner go smoothly. Lovely and calm atmosphere. Waiting time for food can be slightly longer than I'm used to.

Having arrived back late in Milton Keynes after a day away, we enjoyed an impromptu supper here recently. I was really impressed with the quality of the food. I had soupe de poisson to start (which was unbelievably good) and then had an excellent filet steak for my main course. My wife had a cheese soufflé to start (she said she might have liked a little more cheese sauce) and the prawns and black rice for her main. All the food was absolutely terrific as we both thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. The waiting staff were lovely too. This restaurant is really punching out a great game these days!

Outstanding experience at Brasserie Blanc, Milton Keynes! The food was incredible, the service was attentive, friendly and very informative and the decor was 'Instagrammable'! A special mention to the manager, Kelly, who is so passionate and knowledgeable about the food and whole experience at the venue!

Was pleasantly surprised with food. Had steak and chips, was really good in terms of preparation and cooking. Finished up my meal with pistachio soufflé ! Absolutely divine ! Very light and tasty. Service was bit slow for half empty restaurant. I could see they only had one waitress around But nonetheless would come back again and again for food .

I always love coming here. I highly recommend the trout tartare and the anchovies starter.

Great evening we had at the end of April to celebrate our anniversary. The food was fantastic and incredibly tasty. All in all; an experience we won't forget! We'll be going back at some point.

The waitress was lovely, chatty and attentive (I can't remember her name but she was from Peru). The food was amazing, I had the Boeuf Bourguignon and it was melt in your mouth, and the bacon lardons were sooo scrummy. The Espresso Martini was really good too and the perfect end to a lovely meal!

We came with our friends last night and had a lovely meal . Service is excellent and food delicious. Our friends are vegetarian and often come here as they say choice and flavour are good. Nice pinot grigio and rioja went down very well 🍷I had a beetroot terrine which was light and then trout over crushed potatoes with watercress sauce. Hubby surprised our veggie friends by having pea and mint ravioli and loving it! We didn't have a sweet as it was my birthday celebration and there was a cake waiting at home but they did look good.

Could not find a better restaurant in Milton Keynes. Excellent!

Very tasty french cuisine. Staff always friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere. Good range of drinks and Peroni on tap. Often get sent discount vouchers once signed up to the website. Generally the go to place for myself and my group of friends impromptu reunions.

After a great experience at the Portsmouth branch last year we thought we should give our 'local' a go. Plus there was an offer for money off that we didn't want to miss. We rang in advance, but as not busy, they said to just turn up for a late lunch / early dinner. Tip: park across at the supermarket. Service was just as good in MK and the food of a high standard. We enjoyed everything. Our server also recommended the pistachio souffle and yes, it was delicious. My only comment is that it feels the current trend for all vegetarian dishes everywhere is artichoke or celeriac based. I'm bored of both already, so something else would be nice. Nevertheless, we're already planning a return visit to use another discount offer!

Really disappointed and we usually rely on this restaurant for consistency of food and service. Admittedly my husband booked it for Mothers Day so it was always going to be busy, but the incessant murmuring of restaurant music in the background was unrecognisable as a sound track and was just a constant annoying noise in the background. The Front of House lady did not great us with a smile or any warmth, in fact with the exception of our waitress none of the floor staff really looked like they wanted to be there. The service was slow and quite a few meals were on the pass for longer than they really should have been. Having ordered the Sunday roast on numerous occasions, my husband and I opted for the roast beef. The meat was fantastic but the meal looked like it had been dropped from a great height. The cabbage was excessive in quantity, seriously undercooked and cold (as were the potatoes). Whilst the roasted beetroot, red onion and parsnips were not in my opinion a palatable combo to this dish, they were slimey and oily and are not (I think) usually present on the Sunday roasts. We both left a considerable amount of food on our plates and no questions were raised by the waitress. Sorry Raymond too much time filming TV shows and not enough quality control in your restaurant empire.

Lunch for 8 to celebrate a special birthday. Communication with the staff to pre book our meal choices was excellent and we loved the nicely decorated and cosy private dining area provided. The choice on menu was good and quality of food exceeded our expectations. Service throughout was friendly and on point . Thank to all the staff for assuring a throughly enjoyable celebration for us.

Excellent food, good service but a pity that the Brasserie Blanc chain has followed the herd and plays annoying and irritating background music that makes the clientele have to speak louder to be heard, which in turns makes the evening less enjoyable

Returned to Brassarie Blanc after a long time and was not disappointed. Was last here before COVID and it was great to return to the resturant and find it very lively and with its usual vibe. The host received us well much as we didn’t have a booking. After waiting briefly at the bar, we were ushered to our table and became real comfortable. I ordered a starter of fish soup and a main of sea-bass. They were both to die for. Our waiter was amazing. Kudos to Pawel originally from Poland. He attended to us with a high level of professionalism. Look out for him when U visit the hotel next. This is one resturant I will always come back to while in Milton Keynes. It beats the pack for me. 🙏👌👍👏💪😉

This was our first visit for a birthday celebration and we had a very enjoyable evening. We were seated at the far end in the circular seats which was really comfortable. Excellent food and service. We look forward to our next visit.
