Greated by friendly staff, the hot breakfast is served by a staff member. Plenty to chose from. The continental is a help yourself. They also bring tea and coffee to your table. I've had nicer coffee, its rather weak tasting. Can't fault the staff very friendly and kept everything clean

Was here for breakfast over the weekend. service not great, coffee is terrible the rest of the breakfast was ok, was not very happy with people handling the buffet style breakfast, and the fact that everyone was touching the items and prefoured fruit juices etc..had breakfast on the terrace as the restaurant was quite busy but the terrace was not very clean

Firstly temperature check and details taken by friendly recetionists and then up to The Pitchside Bar and Restaurant. Helpfully assisted by Scott , drinks ordered and menus to choose from. A perfect table overlooking the pitch much to the delight of our grandsons. We felt like VIP's. Delicious food and thoughtful service. We would definitely return

We stayed overnight at the hotel .... if you stay here be sure to book breakfast. this was without doubt the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel

Located in the Double Tree by Hilton at the MK stadium this is a good restaurant offering a varied menu. Service is good and can also see a match if playing

Food was fine, but silly size portions which were far too big? Why? No wonder we have an obesity problem? Look around most plates finished but not cleared, lots of food wasted.

We visited the restaurant in order to celebrate a birthday and wedding anniversary with friends visiting from Australia. We have eaten there several times before and thought that they would enjoy the experience. We were wrong! The head waiter was off hand to the point of rudeness, there was clearly a problem in the kitchen. He said we would have to wait because they had two large tables to serve - we only saw two tables of 6, a restaurant of this size can surely cope with that! We had booked well in advance and nothing was mentioned. One of our group asked for a simple variation on the menu, simply a substitute pasta which was on the menu with another dish. He refused to even consider this request even though this has been done willingly in the past. The meal wasnt bad but we were made to feel very unwanted and we shall not be back. What should have been a special evening was spoiled.

Great night had by four of us .very well presented by a really nice manager and great staff , who was nice and friendly hats off young man.with really good personality which goes a very long way.plus food which was exerlent,a starter and a main for all four was enough,very good portion in size.and drinks which in my eyes come to a really cheap price. So very well done to all.

I read other reviews and wonder whether people write negative comments because they are just miserable people with nothing better to do. I stayed in the Hotel for three night on business and visited the Pitchside restaurant each evening, one evening was on a match day. My experience was excellent every evening. The food was very good and reasonably priced, the atmosphere was a little lacking but the staff were all amazing. it does get busy, any decent restaurant gets busy, but the waiting time for food was also advised and always turned up on time, hot and delicious even on Football night.

The food was very average. Menu was ok but food little bland and small portions. Waited a long time for food to arrive.

We ate here during our stay in the hotel for our JW convention. The food for dinner was just as bad a last year. Similar to school dinners. All the staff were excellent though. Such a shame the food doesn't reflet the price we paid. Breakfast was very good. Please improve the quality of the dinners

Dined here when staying at the hotel. Although it was later in the evening (after 9:30) it was still quite busy with many guests watching the Lionesses play in the World Cup competition, limited staff to serve. I ate the pumpkin ravioli, which was too greasy for me.

This restaurant was the location for the pre-match hospitality to the recent Rod Stewart Concert in Stadium MK. Good table overlooking the venue with comfortable seating just outside the restaurant. Very warm welcome, great service throughout and the buffet was of a high quality. One of the better pre-event hospitality experiences if you want to make an event a bit special.

We ate here while staying at the hotel, both food and service were very good, my berger meal was one of the best I have had.

During my stay at the hotel, I had my breakfasts and a dinner here. Even if was in the mood for a good steak, I saw this restaurant had a lot more to offer. The portion had a good size, and had a really good flavour. I also had a good conversation with one of the waiters.

Only had breakfast here but found the selection excellent as were the staff. We would highly recommend the restaurant

Had breakfast after staying overnight. There is a good range of choices from full-English to continental, fruit, cereals - the whole gamut. Service was OK although they forgot to put tea bags in our tea pot. Staff friendly and pleasant.

the pitch side restaurant is a very nice place to eat out in. the staff are all very helpful and could not do enough for you. the food is brilliant and very well price. Can be very bissy if a match is on but all had to the atompher.

Great food, wonderful staff & a pitchside view - what more could you ask for? The food was beautifully presented & tasted as good as it looked. Very reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive & the restaurant had a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Loved the view of the pitch and MK DONS written out. As to the breakfast, I dislike intensely having to make my own toast so didn't and that meant my breakfast was not as enjoyable as it could have been.

Visited the Pitchside restaurant whilst staying at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel at THE MK DONS stadium during last weekend of October 2018. Great food and service for both evening dinner and biggest breakfast I've had for years!

We had breakfast in the restaurant. there was plenty of choice and the staff were very helpful. food was good and kept us going for most of the day afterwards.

Fairly busy evening in the bar, but quickly served with wine & order taken for a "light bite" of Nachos, which unfortunately took 45 minutes to arrive and when they did they were less than warm and had the dried out appearance of having been sat on the pass for half an hour. Still quite tasty & I guess really good when fresh, but I really could not be bothered to wait another 45 mins!

nothing is too much trouble - we asked if we could possibly have prunes included on the breakfast buffet - there they were the very next day - thank you

Had buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Breakfast was lovely had a wide range to choose from and for all appetites. It has meats and cheeses, pastries, uncooked breakfast and much more. Equally lunch and dinner were delicious. They had hot and cold choices.

Being in hotel this proved a simple option for the first night, but no menu on show & had to ask. Very good service & excellent Curry; Mushroom starter was not what I was expecting too much pastery.

Booked table for 8,30 as we had 5 hour journey after work so wanted to ensure we had table so we could retire early as had 12 year old child with us . First impressions good sat had to wait a bit to order but not a major proble ,placed order 1 hour later no food despite 2 tables ordering after us having there meals told there had been problem with printer food had not gone through to the kitchen so was being prepared and be a few minutes !so other tables receive there puddings still no food ,really not impressed by this time anyway food finally arrives they’ve forgotten a meal !!after all that wait really with a child so ended up sharing meals between us all as my daughter needed to go to bed manager not really bothered sorted in end but honestly not good enough to all and no apology’s can fix it surely if food has been forgotten bad enough there’s 4 of us on table and 3 meals really really not good enough have to say such a shame as food we had was lovely and was really hoping to have dessert but it was far to late by this point

Pitchside Restaurant; Really poor evening meal and felt very much out of a packet. Unable to adapt meals which made it feel all pre made dishes and just reheated.

Family dinner. Restaurant very quiet for 8pm on a Saturday. Starters fine.Took ages for main courses to arrive. One of these was supposed to be cod but haddock arrived so had to be changed which meant ambience and flow of the meal was spoiled. Quality of food was mediocre and not in keeping with the prices. The wine was poor for the price. To give the restaurant manager full credit though he vastly reduced the overall cost of the meal because of the fish error. Our waiter was excellent.

We went on a Friday evening and although had booked in advance, the restaurant was quiet. A great view of the inside of the stadium as we ate was a bonus. Food was a high standard and 3 courses with drinks costs less than I would have expected. Service was great and parking easy. This is certainly a place I am going to go to again and would recommend.

We enjoyed two evening meals during our stay. My starters were prawns and garlic mushrooms and mains were liver and blade of beef. All lovely and I was too full for a dessert. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Visited the hotel on Friday evening and enjoyed a couple of drinks in the bar. Decided to have dinner at The Pitchside Restaurant and had a seat overlooking the stadium. You can order from the Bar Menu or the Main Menu for flexibility.

Busy breakfast but nothing was too much trouble. Yummy food and Faye the lady who cooked eggs to order was pleasant. Simon ensured we got sat down quickly.

I hardly ever give a one star rating to any place. We had booked a table for 5 at this restaurant on the day when MK Dons was playing Northampton. We reached on time and were showed to a table and were told that Ricardo would be looking after us. After being served our first bottle of wine which didn't serve 4 full glasses, he didn't bother getting a second bottle. The food that we ordered didn't get delivered for about 45 minutes. On enquiring we were told that there has been some mixup and the food is not ready. We walked out having been told that the drinks are complimentary which is the least that we would have expected. All this after the restaurant not even being half full. Ricardo seemed disinterested in serving us and made no attempt to be attentive. Pathetic service from a brand like Hilton. Never again at this restaurant.

The value of this option is accessibility within the core of the Doubletree Hotel. The availability of both Bar and Restaurant menu options make for a good selection at fair prices and each offering can be taken in the fully serviced restaurant part if desired. The waiter is exceptionally attentive and friendly.

We had our evening meal and breakfast in here. Great service and the food was delicious. Really good quality and plenty of it.

Our sons booked this restaurant for us having just spent the weekend celebrating our 25th anniversary. We know they both love football so were not surprised with the venue. However even if you do not like football, the service, venue and food were AMAZING.

Excellent dinner - lovely food enhanced by the waiter Liam who was helpful, friendly and efficient. Restaurant overlooks the MK Dons football pitch which is illuminated at night.

I have had the standard DoubleTree Hotel breakfast here many a time and it is OK. Can't say it's great, can't say it's bad. There is a decent-ish array of choice and the quality is mostly good. there are some really good things - the choice of fresh fruit etc. is excellent, but that is offset by the fact that there is very little choice in some other areas (every single yoghurt is red fruit). The service is OK but as it is a self-service buffet for the most part the staff are not overly attentive so getting a second coffee or whatever can be a bit like pulling teeth sometimes.I can't speak for the price or value because as Hilton guest I get the breakfast free of charge.

Latest of many visits to the Pitchside and have never been disappointed. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday and were greeted with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. Food as usual top quality and staff friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Couldn't ask for more. Lovely view of the Dons pitch which is an added plus as a season ticket holder and look forward to more meals at the Pitchside including a visit as part of a Don's celebration day next February to celebrate my 75th.

The food here is spectacular and the view is amazing. It is perfect for just toddling back upstairs to the hotel if you're staying at the doubletree and it accepts tastecard so your meal is even cheaper! Highly recommend the blade of beef as this was extremely tender!

Excellent and interesting menu, with something to suit everybody. We were looked after very well, nothing was too much trouble. Great location and views with a very friendly atmosphere.

I only had breakfast as we had a private dinner which was very good. Opens at 6am for breakfast which is so welcome when you want an early start. Friendly welcome and good selection of food but nothing exceptional

Great selection but it's a shame that most of the items were pretty dried up so obviously been prepared early morning. Not sure why you can have a breakfast after 9 if it's only going to be dried up!

Always found to be great food, never too busy, the football Grounds are amazing to look at from above. wow what a view.The staff are always welcoming and the chairs are comfortable for your bottom or back. The toilets are clean and it's a great place to entertain. Would definitely recommend. They have plenty of parking that's for sure. Lifts to all floors, wide corridors for disabled people.

Great hot and cold buffet breakfast selection. Staff very pleasant. View if you like football is stunning, looking into the middle of the MK Dons stadium. A lower league club but with a nigh premier league standard stadium. Good option of main meal options. Friendly comfortable venue.

We had the buffet breakfast! Food was amazing and loved the view on to the pitch! My dad was also able to eat something as he is not allowed gluten. The pitch side Restaurant is truly amazing!

We booked in late to an early slot.The food was great and really good value, we had one starter and two mains, two drinks, and all for under forty pounds in nice surroundings overlooking the pitch, obviously, but that should not put anyone off, this is a nice place on its own merit. One niggle, the tips only go to the staff if you pay cash - a gratuity paid by card goes to the company. You can mix and match, card and a cash tip, but shame on you, Hilton, your chef and staff represented you really well, our overall experience in your hotel (Pitchside restaurant is within the complex) far exceeded expectations. We will definitely come again but hope they will review this policy.

We stayed at the hotel and had breakfast included. The restaurant was smart, modern and clean. The buffet breakfast was plentiful even though it was quite busy. They can provide gluten free bread but sadly no sausages (as they are more expensive). I think for this quality hotel they should be able to provide gluten free sausages! We even had the MK Don's eating next to us (not that we knew anything about football!)

Breakfast was good but limited cooked items. The quality of the sausages could have been better. There was fresh fruit, cereals, tea and coffee and juices and you could eat and drink as much as you wanted. There was also a continental selection with some pastry items. Toast you could make yourself and fried and poached eggs were cooked as you wanted them.

Great food, good value for money, staff very nice. Had Christmas 3 course meal there which was super. Have had lots of meals there throughout the years and can't fault it.

All you would expect from a hotel breakfast. I can highly recommend their porridge but I was a bit disappointed to struggle to find marmalade for my toast!

Have eaten breakfast here before when we stayed last year & was so good, we said we would be back. The breakfast has something for everyone & a very good variety of choice, & the staff are so very efficient & friendly nothing is too much trouble, I particularly liked that I could have a proper cappuccino/latte with my breakfast, nice touch. Have to say this morning was quite busy & a little chaotic when we came in at 7.30am much of the cooked section wanted replenishing as there was only 2 hash browns, bacon plenty of, no sausages to be seen & I think some problem with the egg station. But I think that was down to staff illness & it was very busy. But plenty of other choices, I was still very happy & would choose to eat at this establishment anytime & reccomend, maybe just bad timing on our part.

Usually a great breakfast here.Fay cooks excellent eggs and it is always great to hear her singing ;) However - no salmon in the mornings. Apparently it is now in the new restaurant only :( Please bring it back.....

My usual breakfast place during my stay at the hotel Though pricey, it was the most convenient and I always enjoyed my breakfast, specially the variety of Danish pastries in the breakfast buffet.

As a football fan there is something quite special about dining with a view of a football pitch. The only shame is that there was no football being played - but that didn't spoil the experience or enjoyment. This place has quite a varied menu and a good selection of beers, wines etc available. I opted for some comfort food - the steak burger. It was fabulous - really tasty and very well presented. Price wise I think the place is good value - definitely on a par with other similar quality restaurants that I've dined at in MK. If you are staying in this hotel you should definitely give it a try!

I choose this restaurant on recommendation, it also provided gluten free dishes.The restaurant is very well designed and stylish. Overlooking the pitch at MK Dons stadium. We found two items that were gluten free, the menu symbols were confusing and inaccurate. Service was very slow, both waitresses struggled understanding English.

The food here was really varied and very tasty and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice atmosphere.

Had an excellent afternoon at the pitchside restaurant on the Father's Day event. Our group of 12 were looked after in an attentive and professional manner throughout our visit. The food was fantastic with a choice of starter and dessert. The main was a carvery with ALL the trimmings. Delicious!Particular special mention for Simon and the chef who was carving for some excellent service provided. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

This place has a great buffet with all manner of dishes. It's easy to find something to your taste and the service is fast and friendly. The buffet is £24.95 for 3 courses, so not bad for a 4 star hotel.

The buffet at GBP 24.95 for three courses was a steal - excellent and varied main courses (especially Indian curries) and desserts. Well worth that price. Attentive and personal service. Good bar, nice wines (try the Malbec). Looks out over the MK Dons pitch.

Stayed for a business conference, breakfast wasn't bad but whatever you do don't ask for a cup or warm coffee or you may just get a scowl

An excellent location and view, overlooking the pitch. We enjoyed a very hearty breakfast following a ball at the hotel. Staff quickly took us to a table, we were served coffee. The buffet breakfast was vast. So much to choose from, and it was of very good quality. Lots of staff to assist if required. Excellent, thank you.

Great breakfast during a stay at the hotel, views over the MK Dons pitch and inside of stadium. Food very good and plentiful, staff superb.

On check-in we were advised of a special offer the Pitchside Restaurant was offering, which was a three course meal and a bottle of wine for two for £39.95!! We made the booking for a table there and then as we thought the restaurant would be busy with ther e being a football match on in the stadium as well. The menu was quite nice offering a good choice. All the food was very well cooked and presented very nicely. Even the wine was lovely!!

First visit. Warm welcome and excellent service throughout our evening. Pleasant modern restaurant, candles on tables, linen napkins. Food was very good and well presented. Delivery of all courses well timed. Maitre d' and all his staff made our evening most enjoyable. This visit followed a trip to the nearby IMax/ Odeon cinema. Ideal restaurant to round off our evening. Looking forward to a return visit.

staff are fantastic, helpful., happy and friendly. food is excellent and cooked to a high standard. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who like a good standard. or even a business trip as clients would be impressed with the view over the pitch.

Visited with two friends to celebrate an anniversary, the meal was very good and the restaurant presented us with a bottle of wine and a decorated dessert, which was a nice surprise

Mother's day lunch with my wife, son and mother in law. Carvery food great, at last a Carvery restaurant that understands that lamb should be pink through the middle, but they are willing to cook it through if thats what you are after, good selection on menu even for a set meal, simple but great tasting. Staff were excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. Great value for money and great service. Nice atmosphere with views into the stadium. Worth a visit.

The restaurant food, whilst there was very good selection on the menu it was lacking in the delivery. Everyone in the group ordered something different and all said their meal was tasteless. One persons potatoes were burnt.Service was delivered in an efficient manner but I felt like I was treated like a room number not a real person.There was no omelette option for breakfast otherwise the selection was good with a wide range of hot and cold breakfast items. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly.

Clearly states on their taste card terms that there is no requirement to confirm we are planning on using taste card either at time of booking or before ordering food. We booked days in advance which thought would meet their 2 hour minimum booking policy. But no they refused my taste card and when we checked out of the Hilton double tree and expressed out dissatisfaction they too did nothing.Also they advertise 'pitch side' restaurant but don't expect to see anything if you have an evening booking because they don't even have the lights on so its 'pitch black' out the window and you can't even see the pitch.Very disappointed customer!

We stayed at the hotel and had the valentines dinner in the Pitchside restaurant, firstly there was heart balloons and small packets of love heart sweets, made for a lovely atmosphere, the customer service was amazing and the food was fab, best beef i think we have ever had! Shout out to Mo who is head of the restaurant, what a lovely helpful guy :) same again at breakfast this morning, amazing choice of buffet hot a and cold food, lots of fresh juice and the coffee was fresh, was very much needed, once again Mo was on hand to help, lovely experience and all the staff are pleasant and helpful but Mo's level of customer service is deffinately second to none! We will be back........
