I love Nando’s so much, especially this Nando’s in the whole of Oxford is by far the best. The food is always good. You can never go wrong with the boneless thighs and the mac and cheese is to die for, so is the garlic bread. Oh and the wing platter is literally the best thing to get on the menu, omg the Nando’s wings are so tasty! This Nando’s is the only helal Nando’s in the whole of Oxford and Oxford has 3 Nando restaurants. The service here is amazing, the workers are so kind and well spoken. Cant go wrong with a cheeky Nando’s x

Time was 12.10pm on friday 18/04/2025 Karen served us loaded fries which were pitiful. ..allegedly Nandos policy is 75mg per fries... which he measured out EXACTLY.. and it was barely a small blob of shredded chicken in the middle of a plate of fries...went to complain it's not enough chicken. .and Karen said he measures out 75mg in the morning. .. no customer service.. just was sent back disappointed. . If it is Nando policy.. vv poor..

The service here is amazing. We were served by a lovely kind friendly woman called Sana. The food quality was amazing too came nice and hot.

What you come to expect from Nandos, typically not too busy when I've been as folks are getting it delivered to their homes I suspect, but not disappointed.

Nando's is not particularly the best but I love this restaurant chain and it is very popular in the UK. The chicken has a unique texture, it is halal, the variety of sauces is incredible and the menu is different from anywhere else because of its style. I wish we had some in Spain.

First time at Nando's. Delicous food and very friendly staff! They were also very mindful about allergens! 10/10 recommend

Recently this specific Nandos has been excellent. Very very short waiting times. The food is extremely fresh and hot. Food comes out together at the same time for everyone. Only took about 10-15 mins for everything to arrive.

Worst Nando's that I have visited in over 25 years of frequenting Nandos. Table was dirty, menus were dirty, no cutlery available, couldn't understand the staff (strong foreign acccents) and no salt despite being told they would bring it to the table.

had a great meal with my severely autistic brother luca the other day and the meal was lovely! we had a brilliant time and there was two lovely staff members! one called rhys and the others name i didn’t get! they were both so nice to my brother and the lad was so kind and thoughtful! so thank you nandos we will be coming back!

I had a home delivery and I have to say it was the worst order I have ever experienced. I ordered butterfly chicken the chicken was literally the texture of rubber! Chips cold the only item that seemed edible was the coleslaw. A waste of my money it went in the bin and I had cereal instead. The standard of food I received tonight was appalling and should have NEVER been sent out.

Service was shocking last night and clearly under-staffed. Loaded fries were hardly loaded and only fries. Toilets were in a nasty condition as well. This place needs an audit from HQ. Will definitely not heading back to this Nando’s in Oxford and instead head to Georges Street or Westgate.

I recently visited Oxford for a four-day trip from NYC and was excited to discover a halal Nando's in town. Despite it being a busy night with a full house, we were seated right away without having to wait. The service was exceptional – our host who welcomed us and the server who brought out our food were both incredibly attentive, checking in to ensure we were enjoying our meal and offering to bring anything else we needed. I really appreciated the welcoming atmosphere, which catered to all kinds of groups, whether families, friends, or couples. I’ll definitely return if I find myself in Oxford again!

Nice place to hang out , it would be nice idea to reserve if you are going with 6 or more . Food is just like other Nando’s and no special comments. We went just before Christmas and it was super crowded. Overall great experience.

Huge praise to the manager here ! There was a delay with our order because of a mishap in the kitchen, we didn’t complain and sat and waited. The manager came over to apologise for the delay (even though we didn’t complain) and offered us complimentary items while our order was being made. This is what great management should be like, he was aware of the issue, and before it can turn to a problem, resolved it and exceeded our expectations. Legendary service! Thank you!

Such amazing service the food came super quick and came to celebrate a birthday and the wonderful severs ,especially Sana, were so helpful and served the birthday cake whilst singing happy birthday. Overall the atmosphere is so lovely and food is great!

If it wasn't for the food, I would be giving a 1 star. The food was really good but the service was absolutely terrible. Me and my family went to Nandos for my mum's birthday to have a meal together. We sat down at our table, never got our menus. It was quite busy, so we understood service would be slow, so even though we were hungry, we were patient. We waited 15 minutes before we realised no one gave a damn about table service, so I had to go up and get it. It was like as soon as we sat down, we were forgotten about. No one came to our table except to bring our food. We got our meal but we never got glasses. Since our table was literally being neglected, I also had to get up and go get that. I stood by the till for a stupid amount of time, waiting to ask a member of staff for cups only to be ignored by said staff. Waiters walked past me multiple times, yet not one cared to come up to me. The experience was honestly humiliating. After a while, I finally managed to approach a waiter to ask for a glass we should've been given from the start. I'm so disappointed, I wouldn't come here again, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to as it really ruined our night.

No soy de los que se quejan en viaje, pero nunca he recibido comida de tan mala calidad de un Nando’s, especialmente uno en un lugar tan popular. Pedí algunos platos de entrada, una ensalada y un pollo mariposa. Olvidaron los extras que pagué en mi ensalada, sin mencionar que la ensalada estaba marchita y completamente no comestible. Evidentemente, la comida también estuvo sentada bajo la luz de calefacción durante un buen rato. Pedí la recogida y esperé media hora más de mi tiempo de recogida. Dejé de pie en la puerta y luego mostré un banco en los últimos 3 minutos de mi tiempo de espera. La cereza encima era un pelo en mis papas fritas. No míos ni de mis compañeros, lo cual fue bastante desagradable. Al llamar al restaurante para discutir este asunto, mis llamadas fueron ignoradas y no respondieron.

Cena muy deliciosa y servicio súper rápido. Los muslos de pollo eran muy agradables y frescos. Personal muy servicial - recomendaría.

The service was a complete joke - there were multiple inappropriate comments made by the manager Giovanni. He implied that we were drunk and that we had been drinking before. My friend asked why this comment was necessary and Giovanni said ‘I wasn’t talking to you’. It got to a point where he admitted he had done something wrong and tried to buy us off with free deserts. We felt this was even more inappropriate. We complained again to another worker. Giovanni came back again and offered us free desserts again after completely ruining the mood. The conversation ended with him walking away. Absolutely abysmal service.

First of all it was claimed on the website that all chicken meals where out of stock and then Manager Giovanni was very inconsiderate when making inappropriate comments to us three girls when ordering our food and drinks. ID was asked for and happily provided however this didn’t seem enough for Giovanni. He returned to our table questioning us and apologising for how he reacted and then refused to accept that he made an error. It has ruined the atmosphere of the night and I won’t be returning. Not very customer service focused very company focused

Extremely rude manager - made myself and my friends uncomfortable by speaking to us rudely and questioning if they had been out drinking before, when they hadn’t. The manager was very stand-offish with me when I simply told him that he made us uncomfortable. He also denied statements he had said, when my friends had heard things he had said to me. Completely ruined our mood/food on a Friday night, and we travelled from far.

One of the ladies worker told it’s a 40 min wait.. the guy worker was gna clean the table for us she said no to him can’t sit on the other side they had plenty of free tables and the mash wasn’t even nice

I ordered to collect my food, but it was really busy in there and the food wasn't ready. However, during the wait, the employees were great in constantly updating me on how the food it going, and were generally very kind even if they would've been very tired from a late busy night. My order came 10 minutes late, but an employee called Lola was very apologetic and sincere that I couldn't complain. The atmosphere was great and the food is banging too. Keep it up 👊

Awful experience 8pm 4th nov 2025. Ordered food via the app in restaurant. Orders delivered 15 minutes apart. We asked to speak to the manager who was really unpleasant and pretended to be thick. Kept on asking ‘did you order together’ in unhelpful way. food was pretty cold and tasteless as well.

Was very disappointed with the food it was cold and need some flavour. The service was good, my brother complained that his food was cold and they offer to give him half chicken and it was well hot 😂. The atmosphere was good, will definitely go back once in the area

Soy cliente habitual de nandos Cowley , voy cada semana 2 - 3 veces a comer allí ya sea solo o con mi madre muchas veces , la comida es buena la mayoría de las veces , bonito restaurante siempre ocupado . Pero el problema de la máquina de hielo siempre no funciona que muy decepcionante.

Qué horror. Estaba esperando bebidas durante siglos, así que nos quejamos y todavía no vinieron, así que tuvimos que quejarnos de nuevo! ¡Entonces mi vaso estaba sucio con comida pegada en el interior! La comida eran pequeñas porciones con un pelo en la pitta. No recomiendo en absoluto.

I don’t often go to Nando’s but on occasions I do like it. This location is different though, its run really poorly with frequent arguments between the staff and the manager. The one star review is for the service I received on Friday the 4th October, The manager served us at the counter, he took my order 1/2 chicken with one side dish, he didn’t mention that i can get 2 side dishes for the same price, when i realised immediately after paying, I wanted to add second side to my order to which the manager replied; “it will cost me extra £3”. I challange him saying “shouldn’t I get 2 sides with my order for no extra“ he replied; ‘the order has been placed already and he cant edit it’ 😅 I might be a bit petty here but I also know when I get a terrible customer service, this definitely is one of the worst service I ever got in a “restaurant” Many thanks to this Store, hope you get your game straight soon.

Very delicious food and authentic atmosphere

An hour wait for food and small portions compared to other nandos with extremely slow service, it's getting even worse. Should employ more staff, have more cooking capacity and faster service to address the issues as it's getting extremely bad. Plus rude managers aren't very helpful.

From start to finish, everything runs seamlessly thanks to his attentiveness and friendly touch. Nando's might be a UK staple, but it’s his above-and-beyond service and kindness that keeps the family coming back. A true asset to Nando’s – big thank you to Omesh!

Friendly and efficient staff. The manager in particular was excellent when it came to dealing with a loud mouthed and entitled customer by showing her out the door.

Waiter was rude giving false information about tables being booked. Manager did later come over n apologise Thought id try this place again as it looks like different staff but was still disappointed as waited over an hour to be served Tried again sept 2024 … nothings changed , under staffed and no sense of customers waiting, if your going to make people wait at-least let them have their drinks

Sorry to say I was pretty disappointed after all the hype and recommendations. Tried to get into Nando's Lemington Spa the night before but they stopped taking tables 2 full hours before closing. So I thought it must be amazing. But at this one it was confusing trying to get a seat, then our table was so wobbly we had to move. Our drink glasses were not brought to us (were we supposed to get them ourselves?) They didn't have diet Fanta even though it was listed on the menu, the corn was so overcooked (and dry) I didn't even eat it, and the wings were pretty bland. They were neither dry with a nice crisp skin, nor covered in sauce. The skin was just kind of mushy and they were not even as good as making them at home on the grill. I might try a different location because several people swore we had to eat here. I did appreciate the sink for washing off hands.

Had a really bad experience at this Nandos yesterday and have been many over two decades. This was not on par with their normal standard. In short, we were sat near a fire exit that was being used by customer and staff alike as a passway. The table should never have been put there. Talking to the Manager to remedy this did not help as just got rudeness back and actual aggression. Have never encountered rudeness at any Nandos over numerous visits, let alone this type of manager response. Poor and not child friendly at all. Seemed an inconvenience that we brought children to dine in.

Excellent Nandos. Good service and the food was cooked to perfection. The restaurant was clean and spacious. Toilets were also clean.

Food came very quickly. The food was hot when it arrived. Great tasting too as always from Nando’s. We were visiting from out of town and we weren’t disappointed.

Went to Cowley’s road restaurant. Ordered Mushroom and Halloumi pita and garlic bread as a side. Pita was stale and mushroom was smelly. Garlic bread was burnt. Pathetic food without any exaggeration. Pity that I waited for 30 minutes for this pathetic food.

Continous cancelled orders & when asked for compensation, I was told it wouldn't be possible with no apology. This branch & Nando's customer service do not care about their customers, you express your frustration & they end the call or shift blame to another colleague in the branch. It's disgusting how this branch and company conduct themselves with such carelessness. 6 orders cancelled & I had to go into the store the other week to collect an order as it took so long to arrive & one of the supervisors who was a female with dark hair called "Alex" thought it was a good idea to argue with me.

If you go at peak times, prepare to wait. However, overall amazing service and great food

Best nandos I've had a long time. Chicken was beautiful and really nicely done. Moist and not dry at all. The team made my family feel very welcome with a lively 3 year can often be difficult. Special thanks to kassim who looked after us.

Very good vibe coming from this place. Helpful staff, all very considerate about allergies and so on. The platters were generous, and food was well done. Definitely coming back here when I'm here next.

Unfortunately, this was a BAD experience all round! Tiny portions (the 'regular' hummus was no more than a heaped tablespoon, and the chicken portions were clearly from the runts of the litter ... ! Talking of chicken ... the butterfly breast came in a 'wild herb' marinade ... the ingredients list states that it includes "Herb (including Parsley)" ... I thought I might actually taste something unusual, or herbaceous even!? But NO! It was just heat with no flavour. What kind of wild herbs go into this Trade Descriptions Act-defying sauce Nandos?? Plus, the chicken was undercooked and one of us was sick later that evening. Nasty nasty nasty!! The only saving grace was the lemon and herb thighs, although they cooked have been on the burner for a little longer too ... bery disappointing and we'll not order from here again.

Have been visiting this particular nandos for some time now.. Always great service especially when Umeash is on duty. Hadnt seen him for some time in this restaurant, guessing managers get moved about. It's always a pleasure yo see him and be greeted by him, always a pleasure. He's doing a great job.
