Topkapi Takeaway in Ashford

If you're craving a kebab in Ashford, Topkapi is a solid choice. They're seriously quick with delivery, and the food always arrives hot. The salad is always fresh and crisp, making the whole thing a real treat. I wouldn't order a kebab from anywhere else!

If I could give it a zero I would. We placed an order online and when I husband rang to check it had gone through and spoke to a young guy in the phone that was very rude and said we haven’t got your order how can I do your order if we don’t have your order. To which my husband told him the website had said it’s gone through I can tell you over the phone the order. The man refused and got argumentative so we said we’d wait for it to come through for them to then cancel the order. I rang to put the order through again to then be charged £6 more. When I questioned it the young man got rude again and said it can’t be more £6 more I said I wanted to know why it cost more as we tried to order online and it hadn’t worked which was a bit rubbish. This seemed to really anger him as he then told me he didn’t like how I was talking to him and that it’s not ru bush and if I don’t like it I should go somewhere else. In full transparency, I didn’t get annoyed at him on the phone I didn’t raise my voice but I still got this exceptional form of customer service. It’s a real shame as we’ve ordered her before but I guess we’ll have to find a new kebab place.

I had previously collected from the shop and always been happy, but this is the first time I have risked a home delivery. I was not disappointed. The lady who took my order was very friendly and helpful. My order arrived fast, fresh and hot. Most importantly it was exactly what I ordered and the same high quality as when I watch it being cooked. Very Nicely Done. Thanks.

The order that was taken , was not the Oder that arrived and when I rang ! The response was “ would you eat it anyway?” So I agreed to keep the order only to find the food was cold and the fries where stale . So I would suggest giving them a miss

This is the best place for kebabs, we have the mixed kebab meal, it’s great plenty of meat, and very very tasty. Love it!

Live local but never tried this one. Very impressed, good portions and fresh tasting. Large chicken shish more a medium, but nice all the same. Would use again

I ordered from these on many occasions, this time I thought I would order through there own website. I can't eat gluten and always request the pitta to be left off and the sauce on the side... Not in the kebab.. well it turned up in a pitta and sauce drowned all over it. I rang the takeaway and the chap who answered the phone said my notes had not gone through, and that I should of rung, and other customers are being able to send notes through ok. I replied well what am I supposed to do with a Kebab I can't eat, he spoke to the Manager and he said unfortunately nothing, you would have to pay for another. I said to him if you look at my order history im very good customer, and you will see my order always states this. He replied, sorry nothing I can do. Now, ok I might spend £20 a week with them, but my opinion on how they dealt with complaint will be voiced all across social media. To appease the situation all they had to do was replace my kebab, as clearly theres an error on the website, but instead they have a very disgruntled vocal ex customer.

Me and my partner always order from here on just eat. Always on time, hot and the best kebab in town.

Really disappointed with the food - the order was incorrect, when I called to explain the person on the phone was rude and put the phone down on us. Please be careful.

3 times now they've left out the chillis I like and in my personal opinion makes the meal. Iv even rang them straight after ordering to confirm I'd like them.

Food took an hour and half to turn up. Went to hot hut instead. Great food and service there. I can't rate topkapi food coz it never turned up.

Most of what we get has been nice except once. We love the pickled green chillis and believe they make the meal so we always ask for them but don't always receive them

Took over an hour to arrive. Food was cold, re-heated to death and just not good in the slightest. Charged extra for delivery despite ordering the minimum needed and living just over a mile away. Didn't listen to additional requirements for the order. Would not order there again.

Ordered for 17.00, arrived at 16.40, there was a reason for choosing the delivery time I did.

Food arrived earlier than expected which was great. The member of staff was friendly. The kebab was quite cold but it tasted great, as always.

Order arrived early then expected but it was Tuesday. Quality of the food was better than in the other chips shops but some of it was a bit burned . I am maybe a bit fussy about food but should I not be when I pay for it?

Fish was sopping in fat... old dark oily donner meat and the bbq sauce smells like someones died... overall. .. disgusting!

Delivery took 1hr 20 mins. When arrived food was cold. Nothing was said by the driver just handed it over and left. Food was really nice but the delivery time put a downer on it. I rang the takeaway to find out where our order was and as I was on the phone it was delivered. I said to the guy on the phone "O it's just been delivered" and he said ok and put the phone down. Not good customer service. I understand these places are busy but a sorry it's taken it time wouldn't go a miss.

took an hour and 20mons to deliver, pizza was completely over done and burnt, food stone cold and portions tiny even tho we had ordered large and extra larges. phoned and complain said they would deliver new food within half an hour. nearly an hour later food arrived and wasn't much better than the first lots. safe to say will not ever be using again!!

Order was wrong ordered coke they gave me pepsi without asking why offer it if you dont have it ordered extra cheese in burgers never got it but payed for it very very poor service will not be eating here again.

Was ordered and due at 7pm one evening. Still not received at half 7. And the app said it had been delivered. Not happy at all.

This is an absolute shambles. Items were missed off my order and the quality of the food was inadequate. I received a frozen cheese cake covered in ice and frost and when I contacted the takeaway, I have had no responses and no attempt to rectify this. Disgusting.

Got half of the order delivered on time, the rest they forgot to get me so when I did turn up the rest of the food was cold. Not very happy with the service, however it's the first time it has been poor previous times I have had no complaints

Sadly, despite a phone call the order was wrong...order a cheeseburger with ketchup and no cabbage...it arrived with cabbage only, no other salad and BBQ sauce...very disappointed, tried to phone but engaged.

Its always hard to rate a kebab shop, but Top Kapi is always first on my list if I fancy a kebab. Delivery always is underwelming if you have chips, I dont think I have ever had decent chips from this place that I didnt pick up myself. I think the chips sweat in the burger tray. However, I do regularly get their House special, its a mixture of all of their meats, its lovely and always gets eaten up. Always turns up nice and hot although a bit stingy on the sauce/pita.

Delivery arrived within 20 minutes of ordering, which would've been good if I didn't order it for 40 minutes after that. Food was good though

Pizza was excellent and tasty. The delivery time was almost to the minute of the suggested time. Only slight annoyance, paid for extra topping but it wasn't added.

I normally order and get good food, today I was very disappointed I ordered and it arrived 1.5hrs later after stating 30 min. We had to call at the hour mark I think to help them remember our order. The food was cold when it arrived and needed to be reheated in the microwave, it wasn't up to the normal standard we have grown accustomed to. My neighbour who eats anything also complained as to the poor standards tonight. I hope they improve next time I order.

Ive been using TopKapi for about 4 years and order at least once every week. Unfortunately I am now suffering food poisoning induced gastroenteritis after my takeaway Saturday evening. Youve lost a valid customer

Really cold outside, so they had the forethought to put the food in an insulated bag, BUT they put the cans of drink in there too. So.... the food was freezing!! Not the first time we have had cold food from here

Asked for the house special kebab with chilli n garlic sauce and 2 extra pitta and a cheeseburger with burger sauce. Got no chilli sauce and the salad consisted a bit of iceberg and chunk of q with tomato. It was smaller than youd get in one kebab. The pittas were slashed half way down with knife so couldn't get anything in them The burger was without its burger sauce. Tasted fine but was annoyed .
