The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in South East

Having read the glowing reviews I went with high expectations but came away deflated and disappointed. Rather than finding an array of different quality breads for sale I found 1 type of loaf for sale with the choice of ‘take it or leave it’. I asked if sourdough bread was available and was told by the unapologetic and matter-of-fact ‘assistant’ that there wasn’t. Did they have any croissants? Yes, on Fridays! Finally, by way of explanation: ‘the baker is on holiday’! You couldn’t make it up.

A traditional old English pub with good food , well worth a visit , nice friendly staff good beer and a minute from the water front and town centre

We have visited this cafe often but they have reduced the size of the cake, put the prices up and charge service charge even on outside coffee and cake. £17 almost for two small cakes and two coffees. Rip-off

Went here for afternoon tea with my family and 7-year old granddaughter. We all loved it and my granddaughter in particular as there was so much pink! The food was excellent as was the service and my granddaughter loved the children's 'loaded hot chocolate'. I would definitely come back again.

Wow what a find!! We were visiting the area and found this gem of a place! Lovely people, great service, very accommodating for my family including our dog (dogs allowed in bar but not restaurant). We have been out for many Sunday roast dinners, but this was one of the best we’ve had! Beautiful food, proper roasties, I had a mix of all meats on offer. It came with lovely swede and carrots, cauliflower cheese, parsnips, and lots of other veg, a big jug of gravy, all the condiments, it really was very good! Highly recommended 5*!! Sorry no pics, the food was just too tasty!! 😃🙏

The hotel 🏨 du vin Henley-on-Thames my personal review upon arrival on Wednesday 25th September my fiance and myself were greeted by a very charming lady Sue with a warm smile and most accommodating to our requirements she kindly showed us to our deluxe suite in the court yard named The Taylor Port WOW the suite was amazing 👏 highly recommended if you should stay We booked directly through the hotel our 1 nights package inclusive of Full English breakfast and Continental came to £239 the breakfast alone would be £40 each Every staff member were most professional with a pleasant demeanour 👏 my fiance and myself have been in the hospitality industry for over 40 years so we know a thing or two myself as British Airways Cabin crew and my partner as a Chef 👨‍🍳 Once again Bravo hotel du vin We will most definitely be back kind regards Sonia Lawson and Darren Spears

Tasty food, very attentive with allergens and really friendly staff

Visited here for one night. Reception staff (especially Michelle) were great. The room we got was huge and that was fun but the décor was a bit shabby chic, 90s colour palate, faux pine wardrobes. Bath was Awesome. Went to the restaurant and the food is FLAWLESS. The service was a bit faulty towers in a comedy way.

We stayed here over our wedding weekend with our friends and family staying in all the rooms and mew houses. It couldn't have been more perfect. Great location and beautiful rooms. The hotel team (Diarna especially) were amazing from the beginning and were incredibly flexible, informative and made our stay memorable for all the right reasons. Breakfasts were delicious too! Thank you to all the team.

Food was good, service was quick and staff were polite and efficient. The restaurant was very busy and noisy though, and they never have enough bottles of XX Hot sauce to go around.
