Our family just love Reeves and we have been loyal customers for decades. I’m leaving this review just to say that for the first time this Xmas we were somewhat disappointed with the mince pies. Although they had a lovely flavour and were nicely full, the pastry appeared underbaked (especially the bottom) and it was impossible to remove the pie from the silver foil base cleanly, as each time, the pie just was too weak and crumbled all over the place. Half the base would just break away be stuck to the foil which was really frustrating as we have never encountered this before with any other mince pies. It real gave the impression that the pies were undercooked which left the pastry weak. Please could someone look at this issue ready for next year! We of course will remain loyal customers as the staff are great.

That's it!! Never again 😒 so disappointed. Purchased 6 crusty rolls, they get them from the back already bagged up ( yesterday's I'm sure). I asked for them from front counter to be told yet again they are all the same?? . Gets them home and I can use them as door stops. So dry around the edge's. Unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened, so that's me done I'm afraid. 😡

We called in for a quick snack. The place had the usual things. The sausage roll was nice although perhaps too much pastry.

Me and my fiancee visited Thursday 11th July 2024. Had 2 sausage rolls, coffee and a bottle of coke came to £17.40. Sausage rolls were £5.15 each so was hoping they were going to be tasty, but I was wrong. Worst sausage rolls weve ever had. Zero flavour , the blandest , plain food I've ever eaten. I didn't want to cause a fuss but at that price I had to ask for a refund. Staff were nice and polite , had no issues there, but the food is terrible and over priced mass produced frozen food. Much better places around. Avoid!!!!!

Worsts bakers I have visited, over priced for what you get. (Cold sausage rolls), only one oven that only fits 2 sandwiches in it, food hygiene is awful no gloves while preparing your food and awful service, take your money then moves on to next customer before finish serving you.

I popped in to Reeves cafe in Ringwood today hoping for a fresh cooked sausage roll and coffee. It was absolutely awful, unfriendly staff, cold coffee and what has to be the most tasteless reheated sausage roll I've ever eaten. They have the audacity to charge £3.25 for it and quite frankly you wouldn't want it for free .. TERRIBLE

I have been buying from and eating in this place for 15+ years and it's consistently good. Doesn't promise a lot but delivers consistently. Their breads and takeaway stuff are excellent, and the cafe upstairs is a bit small but has nice coffee and decent sized portions. The staff are always friendly too - it can get to meltdown if it's really busy. It's part of a small chain based in Salisbury.

We went to Bambridge mainly to see the Christmas displays which were very good. We also had lunch which also was good and tasty served in good time in some nice surroundings despite the staff being very busy and cheerful. Overall a good experience and would visit again.

We got married here first during Covid on 2021 and again for the celebration in 2023. The venue was good, particularly with their flexibility during Covid. Unfortunately the experience was let down by their caterers. We ordered 5 Gluten Free meals which were communicated and acknowledged but on the day were not stocked for it! This proved a bit stressful on the day as these guests were severely celiac. The chef did what he could but was not great. We opted to go for the evening buffet bbq for everyone, which was only just satisfactory. The meats were clearly re-heated and quite frankly the product was not of great quality at all. The chicken looked anemic and I would hedge my bet that it was microwaved. Overall a really poor show from the catering side of things, and I hope the venue takes on this feedback as the food and service was terrible - although I don’t think they will as it’s an immediate family member who is a director of the catering company! Edit: To the venue’s response, I would like to add that it wouldn’t have got to court if they had acted in a professional manner. Unfortunately Exquisite catering ignored my complaint, so the cost of £60, to use a morning of their time to listen to my complaint in court was well worth it.

Cracking meal. I had pretty low expectations but couldn’t have been more wrong. The salmon and squid ink pasta was fantastic. The chicken was lovely. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. They’re obviously trying which is great to see.
