This visit was made in the run up to Christmas. Set up for Christmas, almost any declaration and gifts for most people are available A very good and large garden centre. Outdoor area for garden plants , ornaments and many more items for the garden Inside area for clothes, bird seed and feeders, garden tools also kitchen utensils just to name a few Restaurant serving a selection of meals and snacks.with large inside seating area. There is also outside seating for the brave or better weather. March 2023 Plants have arrived for the Summer etc. Very good selection.

Took my mum today for her birthday and wanted to treat us to lunch rather than just coffee and cake, unfortunately my hot chocolate was not hot which was changed to a hot one, mum’s jacket was ok but nothing special, the toasted ciabatta with ham, cheese and tomato was vile, bread was wet and soggy under the ham , not from the tomato, cheese was tasteless and hardly any , it looked microwaved not toasted , salad undressed, crisps were the best part , think I paid about £9 , waste of money, won’t be returning unfortunately I actually couldn’t eat it , unpleasant, very disappointing, how can you mess up a toasted sandwich !!!

The garden centre it’s self is lovely however the staff my mother and I encountered in both the centre and cafe were extremely rude and not helpful at all, when asking for plan food, just cheese baguette I was told that if it’s not on the menu she won’t do it.. however baguettes very much were on there and went asking if I could have something else minus one item as I couldn’t eat it she refused. The service at the counter was just extremely unpleasant

This morning went for coffee at Brambridge in some trepidation reading some of the very poor reviews. I hadn’t been for many years. It obviously doesn’t compare to Haskins in West End, and the walk you are forced to make in order to get to the restaurant is absolutely ridiculous. However, the food I had was fine. The cakes though did not look at all appetising. The toilets were absolutely spotless and d so the poor reviews on that score clearly have helped. Because of the tedious walk to the restaurant I won’t be in a hurry to return.

Good range of plants. Spacious both inside and out. Dogs still welcome, which is a great help. Check to make sure you get any discounts advertised on the shelves, when you get to the till. On 13/8/2024 we went to have lunch at the restaurant but found no seating in shade, and the orangery was too warm, so we had to go home for lunch. There was plenty of seating but no sun shades available - some of the sun shades looked to be broken.

We visited the garden centre today as a party of 5 adults and a baby. The restaurant staff were very accommodating and as it was a very hot day they found us a cool spot for the baby. The food was excellent and well priced. My husband has a garlic allergy and the supervisor and chef could not have done more to help us unlike many other restaurants we have visited . The shop was well stocked and the plants were well looked after. We had a ride on the train which was also brilliant and the staff very knowledgeable and helpful. The centre and restaurant have 5 new converts and we will all return. Can’t thank you enough

Brambridge had everything a gardener could want. There was plenty of parking, a nice restaurant which we had lunch(although it sounded like the staff in the kitchen were having a competition throwing pots and pans at walls - what a racket!!!) The food was nice, I had a goats cheese salad which was a small portion for £13-. The garden centre itself had a lot of very nice plants with a good selection and all were extremely healthy and well looked after. There is another area of kitchenware which is also very nice, with a lot of luxury items which would be suitable as a present for someone. There is a toy section and a card section, so if you’re looking for a gift, this is the right place to go. I went with friends and we had a nice time ((apart from the pots and pans throwing competition in the kitchen). If you do eat in the restaurant, choose a table that is far away from the kitchen area!

Blue Diamond must make a fortune from this gold mine of a garden centre cum cafe cum department store. It's always busy and you can understand why. Great plant and garden selection. Good cafe. Very varied range of gift items inside, particularly at Christmas. And goats too! Ps. August 2021. All change! The plant sections outside are relatively unchanged, but inside it's now just a series of soulless caverns. Shame.

This is the third time we have been and I thought that the cleanliness would have been better. The cups had marks around the rim and the tea pot was not much better. The cafe needs to check their crockery.

Was hoping for better, but sadly disappointed. Ordered x2 full English breakfasts, husband's was OK but nothing special.. mine well... fried eggs had x2 pieces of shell in, hash browns were under cooked, tomatoe was cooked one side and cold and hard the other, butter pack was put on top of he toast, resulting in a greasy mess when I went to open it. Black pudding was under cooked and gritty. As for my Earl grey tea... oh my!! The tea pot was dirty and badly chipped as was the cup, I had no where to put the squished strainer The table wobbled despite a solid base .... all in all ...not a great breakfast sadly. On a positive the lady that served me was lovely.

False advertising! Don't even bother going here, it's a complete waste of fuel. They said they were open on their Google opening hours but decided to randomly be shut with no notices yesterday. Wasted half an hour driving, £10 getting there and had a VERY upset 2 year old who was excited to see the goats. Very unimpressed, I will never be returning. If you can't even be honest with your opening times what the heck else are you lying about?

We visited the garden centre on Wednesday. After a long trek through several departments we arrived at the cafe. After choosing a table we had to move our chairs due to the rain which was dripping through the roof! The Cappucinno that I ordered wasn't very hot and I think you'd run out of chocolate sprinkles!!!! (It is listed on the receipt) The price was really high because you charge extra for oat milk......haven't come across another cafe that does this for alternative milk!! £3.75 for a cup of coffee!!!! Our first and last visit I'm afraid.

From the moment we stepped foot in Wickham Estate - we knew it would be the most perfect venue for our Wedding. Despite the rain and cold (in August!!), the surroundings were beautiful, the staff were friendly and the venue itself was elegant, charming and full of character. Little did we know that a year on, we would have the most perfect day of our lives with blue skies and bright sunshine! From the outset, the customer service was impeccable. We were guided through every decision with knowledge and expertise from all the wedding co-ordinators and we can't thank Keira, in particular, enough for going above and beyond. She may us feel like the only people who have ever got married there making every moment so special. Hannah and the team at Exquisite Caterers were just as professional, approachable and helpful not to mention some of the most delicious food we've ever had! A huge shout out to the wine as well! We chose the venue because of the amazing location and how picturesque it was and didn't expect to have such incredible wine as well! The whole day ran smoothly and even if something went wrong, we would never have known! The staff worked tirelessly to make it unforgettable. The atmosphere was amazing; the day was full of fun and laughter and nothing was too much or too complicated for the team at Wickham Estate. I have to make a special mention again to Kiera; I have never seen someone work so hard to make every moment one to remember. It felt like we had known us for years! She took the time to listen to us and get to know us and totally understood our vibe and concept, she communicated between suppliers and our family to get everything in place and sorted whilst making the morning of the wedding stress free for the Bride and Groom. If we could get married again, every year at Wickham Estate - we most definitely would! Thank you to the everyone for the most perfect day!
