Visit this Garden Centre frequently during the week. Not been at weekends. Lovely place with a good selection of plants, gardening items, gifts and clothes. The downside for me is the Coffee Shop, the lady on the till who takes the orders is extremely rude. Think she could do with a refresher course in politeness. The other staff are far more polite. Also the Ladies Loos could do with updating at least.

This is quite a big centre, very popular with retirees through the week. I was unhappy with the coffee shop, I have not been here before and joined the queue for the restaurant, I was not aware you have to pay before you get your food or coffee, reverse way for a normal place, this may work for the management but as a newbie it did not work for me, I joined a queue and suddenly the person at the till left for the coffee serving leaving me high and dry, the other till eventually took my money and I joined the queue after four other people who had been behind me, please Mr Manager, make this clearer how people queue, it really put me off coming again. Not a good experience, not sure if it is for me to visit again, others obviously like it and maybe had my coffee experience been better my view may be as well. The star rating is diluted purely for the restaurant experience. Customer experience is my main aim in life and it was lacking here.

Visited the local garden centre for a spot of lunch and looking for present inspirations. Brambridge has a wonderful range of items ranging from the home to garden and toys, not the cheapest but some interesting items that you won't commonly find on the high street. Also prices are higher vs your local B&Q/wickes etc but the range and quality surpasses anything you can find there so well worth it if you are after something special. Also visited the on site restaurant, very busy at lunch time so grab a seat where you can, ordered 2 toasted ciabatta, one ham cheese and tomato, the other a ranch chicken, bacon and cheese, both served with salad leaves and crisps. Came out quickly even though it was busy, the lady offered a choice of dressings that was a nice touch if you don't like dressed salad. The salad was fresh and fine enough, crisps were ready salted and nothing special. The ciabatta was a good size, warm and filling is adequate for the price/portion. Couldn't taste the bacon in mine but otherwise was tasty.

The fact that this lovely place is situated in the middle of the countryside where dogs walk & do their business. to then allow it to sit witt it's behind on a seat someone will sit on, is disgusting, unhygienic and appalling!! A nice, if not very distinctive experience. Didn't shop for plants today, but bought gifts for mothers day. A good range of gift items, but the price can vary when it comes to value, i find. It isn't a large building by any means, but they do cram quite a bit in. Had lunch in the restaurant, which was also good, but maybe not worth the 23 pound for one main, an apple juice and a sponge slice. It does however have a better outdoor seating area than other garden centres nearer me.

The garden centre itself was nice, spacious , had plenty of choice & generally a decent one xpwrience, so this could be a 4 out of 5. The cafe however is a 2. We stopped off after a walk. We had 4 hot sandwiches and 2 drinks ( about £52). The sandwiches were really poor, whole panini, not cut, hardly any filling, we also bought a beetroot side salad, which was the worst thing me and my partner had ever tasted, like purple slaw coated in raw curry powder, it was really bad and tiny. We swapped crisps for chips with 2 sandwiches for an. Extra £5, the cops got left as they just weren't that good. The teapot was badly stained, one of the cups had a crack in it. The toilets, omg, for a food outlet and a decent garden centre are an absolute disgrace, like a dodgy pub from the 80's on a good day... They are in need of full revamp. I definitely wouldn't recommend the cafe. On a positive they do a blue diamond loyalty scheme for drinks so if you collect stamps that's a bonus. There are better garden centre coffee shops close by. The garden society is lovely and the one in the way into Fair Oak has just been re-furbed and well worth a try. Give this one a swerve

Given the weather this weekend I visited the garden centre on the recommendation of friends to see the singing reindeer and the decorations. I’m assuming that the staff failed to get the memo on ‘Xmas cheer’ as not a smile could be found on any of them. Having sat to have a bite to eat I can only guess that given Santas age and the fact he’s had his winter fuel allowance cut - he feels it necessary to make his money robbing visitors on ‘upgrades’ to their lunch. For just £2.50 you can add chips instead of crisps to your hot sarnie……..that gets you 10 cold chips to accompany your cold ciabatta!!

We recently visited Brambridge and while the garden centre itself was beautiful we found the restaurant to be an uncomfortable and disappointing experience. While waiting at the till, I noticed that the workers were no longer serving at that station, but I wasn't sure where to go or what to do next. I stood there for a while without being acknowledged. It would have been helpful if someone had explained where I should wait or directed me to another counter. While the food and drinks were good, I felt the lack of attention made the experience less enjoyable. I would recommend that the staff be more proactive in guiding customers, especially when there are changes in where to order or pick up. A little more communication could go a long way in making the experience smoother for everyone.

This morning went for coffee at Brambridge in some trepidation reading some of the very poor reviews. I hadn’t been for many years. It obviously doesn’t compare to Haskins in West End, and the walk you are forced to make in order to get to the restaurant is absolutely ridiculous. However, the food I had was fine. The cakes though did not look at all appetising. The toilets were absolutely spotless and d so the poor reviews on that score clearly have helped. Because of the tedious walk to the restaurant I won’t be in a hurry to return.
