Luis was a great host. The apartment was huge and very stylish and comfy. The rooms were big, and the bathroom too. It felt like home. We traveled with my husband and a friend to play at the International Beatleweek all the way from Argentina, and we needed a place to relax in between the gigs we had. Casa Da Ana was the place! We had a little problem while cooking (set the fire alarm on because of some burgers) and Luis came in 5 minutes to fix everything, he was very worry that we were cold because of the bad weather too but we were fine. He brought us food two days later, and once we really need it, we asked him to explain us how to turn on the heat and he did it through whatsapp video call! He also left food for you to make your own breakfast, and snacks and fruits. We had the best time!!! The apartment also had: Iron, Ironing table, vacuum cleaner and clothes line. Having Netflix was Awesome too and the internet worked really good! ANOTHER VERY IMPORTANT THING: lots of Liverpudlians told us that that was one of the best neighbourhoods in the city. Just check the post code. If we go back, we'll choose Luis for sure! The thing with the firealarm was that the smoke detector is just above the oven, so if something little happens (like some burned oil) and makes a big cloud it triggers easyly. There isn't a huge ventilation for that on the kitchen, but we could handle it after the incident :) Another thing, we didn't have internet until we arrived at the building and checked in, so it became difficult to find Luis get the keys. We went to Cafe Noir, at the opposite corner, order some drinks and use the internet. Luis was in the cafe next to the apartment (top stairs), and came two minutes after i've emailed him. He asked for the people at the cafe to wait for us, and the kindly accepted. Actually that was a shared problem because we didn't arrange where to meet (or maybe I misunderstood something). Inspite of all, these are not actual problems. We loved being there!

¿Volvería a comer aquí? 100% si.

Had an incredible experience at Haute Dolci on Wilmslow Road, and a big part of that was thanks to Navinder! His service was absolutely outstanding—friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right, checking in at the perfect moments and making us feel truly valued as customers. His warm and positive energy made the whole experience even better! The Apple Crumble with custard—WOW. This dessert is sooo good and honestly so underrated! The crumble was buttery and crisp, the apples were perfectly soft and flavorful, and the warm custard just tied it all together beautifully. It’s pure comfort in a bowl and deserves way more recognition! Overall, the combination of amazing service from Navinder and this hidden gem of a dessert made for a fantastic visit. Can’t wait to come back!

I received a Sunday dinner here from my girlfriend as a Christmas present. Wow is all I can say, what a fantastic experience in every regard. Lunch starts with drinks and a peruse of the menu in the bar/lounge area where we were treated to an amuse bouche of a sausage roll and a crispy cheese and mushroom cup. This really set the tone of the meal and let us know they were not messing around. It wasn't a tiny pretentious spoon full of caviar or a wafer of hay. A large sausage roll and a savoury cheese and mushroom cup. Proper stuff. You are then asked what you would like to order (including your dessert) before being led in to the dining room. Whilst I wouldn't say the dining area was the most up-to-date or cleanest (there were still crumbs on the tablecloth presumably from breakfast) I would say it felt very relaxed and not stuffy. No one was awkwardly whispering and the volume of the music felt perfect. It certainly is a nice place to eat. We started with the bread and butter, which includes a cheese bread and a also a sourdough. Both of these were excellent with the former being one of the best breads I have ever tried. I started with the carrot and pesto starter which was perhaps the nicest dish of food I have ever eaten. Massive flavours from a rather dainty looking dish but it really got me excited for the main course. Main was a "roast dinner" of chicken with trimmings and a rather excellent chicken meatball. The chicken was buttery soft and tasted incredible. I cant think of a better chicken dish I have eaten. Buttery mash and veggies really added to the dish too. For dessert a chocolate "bomb" with berries and pebbles of frozen sour cream. It was great, but probably the worst course of the 3. It was slightly one dimensional in taste and the chocolate got slightly lost in the sharp berry flavour, but it was still a very nice way to end the meal. The staff were thoughtful, polite and attentive, without being stuffy, awkward or pretentious. We noted that if anyone had yet to have been lucky enough to try a Michelin star meal then this would be an excellent first place to visit, it wasn't pretentious, it wasn't stuffy and the food was familiar but taken to a very high level. The only complaint I had was that it took about 20 minutes to get the bill, but the staff were busy around this time serving the mains to the next set of customers. A little point but I definitely felt it could've been improved for a Michelin star establishment.
