I wanted to leave a review just to say how wonderful the team at Shabna are. Always polite and courteous when they drop off the food. An item was accidentally missed off my order (which I immediately forgave because they are always so spot on with my order) and the lovely staff took it upon themselves to bring me some bits and pieces the day after to make up for it. What an absolutely brilliant restaurant. The food is also delicious and made with love. Thank you Shabna :)

So we visited last night (Tuesday 4 March), there was nine in our party, as we were celebrating a birthday. I haven’t ate at The Thin White Duke for a long time, no particular reason, but I was so pleased I went last night. All the food looked amazing, I ordered the vegetable masala but added the chicken, it came with a popadom and two little naan’s, very cute. It was really tasty! In fact I’ve thought about it all day and can’t wait to go back and order another! If anything could be added to improve this, maybe be a little bit of mango chutney for the popadom - but only a suggestion not a necessity! Overall I was very impressed!

Visited Yea Rah Liverpool one on Sunday 1st. Firstly walked in to a not very smiling staff. ordered our food me and my stepson ordered full rack of ribs to which they didn’t have so had to settle in n half a rack each. When it arrived presentation was good but av seen more meat on a butchers pencil I was spitting out bone and fat disgusting. My wife ordered chicken jalfrezi which was very dry and served on a hot plate very unusual. My other stepson ordered chicken melt which was cold and had Edam cheese not even melted and wouldn’t feed a pigeon never mind a growing 6’4 Lad so he wasn’t impressed.. my stepdaughter ordered peri peri chicken and it come as a whole chicken cut in half she wasn’t impressed either. I visited the toilets and looked like it hadn’t been checked for a while maybe 3 hours disgusting 🤮… so over all we will not be visiting this place ever again oh and a price tag of £105

Went for tea and cake. Had to return dirty cup. Teapot lid cracked and would not shut as waiter pointed out! Poppyseed and lemon cake was inedible being very dry and felt old. Staff busy chatting to each other and not worried about bad service. Expensive- just counting on mane. Go elsewhere.
