Piri Piri Express in Sefton

Was not impressed this time, wraps were very very dry with no flavour on chicken (ordered one very hot and one medium) and no salad. Spicy rice had a weird cheesy smell. Piri Piri chips were the only decent thing in the order unfortunately

Wrap was so soggy, falling to bits, the burger was bland and tasteless, garlic mushrooms and sweet potato fries, we’re nice tho, but really disappointing, especially the burger, used to be a lot nicer, quality has really gone now sadly.

Burgers were terrible, think they were cooked in a kettle. Bacon was also missing and extra sauce.

Staff need some lessons in customer service and how to speak to people, ordered for take out and got a friend to pick it up. I put simple instructions on the comments which did not get followed and told the person picking it up ‘it was confusing so I made the food that was on the receipt’ phone numbers are provided for a reason if it’s confusing RING. proceeds to have a go at the person picking it up because it had to re-made because they can’t understand simple instructions. Ordered chocolate fudge cake an Oreo cheesecake and got a banoffee cheesecake and a chocolate brownie. Paid over £60 between four people and the food was the bare minimum, chips freezing because of their mistake. Learn how to speak to people properly and next time, if an order is ‘confusing’ call up to confirm.

Not being funny but a rat ran across my foot. I saw the man cut his hand and continue to make food without him washing his hands, I instantly put my food down and left didn’t even bother asking for a refund. I would never ever suggest to anyone to eat here after my experience I have reported it to food hygiene standards agency honestly needs to be closed down instantly.

NEVER EVER AGAIN! TWICE I PLACED AN ORDER AND NOT ONE PHONE CALLED RECEIVED. Lied too every single time to say they were outside. Receptionist at the hotel confirmed no delivery driver! The worst service I’ve ever received. I feel sorry for those that actually live in the area and grateful I’m only visiting!

Genuinely freshest tasting chicken. When you eat from here you feel like it’s a healthy meal, and at a pretty fair price. Is it sometimes hit or miss, sure. And it’s disappointing because you know how good the food can be. Sometimes the chicken isn’t heavenly like usual. When it’s good, it’s the best, when it’s not, it’s still better than most. Staff here are all nice, friendly and accommodating to your order and changes you’d like to make. - Chips are also good. - Supremely, for England the halloumi is pretty good. - Meals are filling. The lemon and herb sauce really is the signature here in our opinion. You can use the left over sauce for chips or rice. Parking can be quite frustrating, but if you know the area you can almost always find parking opposite by the chippy and walk over to piri piri. Conveniently placed next to Tesco express, Cash machine outside Tesco, 30 second walk. Piri Piri is genuinely worth your money.

I understand when a food business it's bussy might be delays, I worked myself in the field, but to have a missing item and not able to report it through the app, I don't find it right. The food was good, I appreciate that they sent later my missing desert after calling them, but I'm sorry for the restaurant as the desert I ordered it's way too expensive for what it is. I thought it will be a desert to have and share with my son after dinner, but it proved to be something really small (72g) that my son will have 2 bites from it and that would be all of it. None left to share. I'm really sorry.

Really disappointed. Have had food from here many times over the years but unfortunately the last couple of times the chicken has been cold and tough and the rice was mushy. The delivery was early than expected so I would have thought the food would be hot.

Three of us ordered not a lot of food; came to over £35! £6.95 for 3 pieces of halloumi served without spicy sauce. Will never waste my money again.

My partner has just ordered us a meal and only his turned up. The girl who delivered it, ran ad fast as she could! When we tried to phone, there was no answer and was asked to leave a message. Extremely disappointing and will never get food from there again.

Spice rice like mush, cannot eat.

We ordered food at 6.30 and was given a delivery time of between 7.15-7.35 we then got a message saying there has been a delay until 7.45. The food eventually arrived at 8.05 and it was at best warm. 1 plus was it was really nice but wouldn’t rush to order again due to the wait and it being lukewarm.

I never leave bad reviews but I was so disappointed with this take away especially because the one in maghull is fabulous, the delivery time was quicker than expected but I think this is due to my food not being freshly cooked, the chicken in my wrap was so dry and tasted stale I couldn’t eat it in the end, the chips also tasted stale and had hardly any peri salt on them, for £9+ for a wrap and chips with no drink it’s not exactly cheap either so at least expected fresh food

Really wanted to like this place but took two hours to deliver, forgot halloumi on veggie burger, the chicken tasted gamey and chips were like cardboard. The only good thing was the customer service. Guy on phone was really nice and threw in a freebie for the wait. But unfortunately don’t think we’ll be ordering again :(

I use to order the "rack" of ribs and it would be that. A rack of ribs you cut up yourself. Just received a deliver and it was individual ribs. That where not the usual ones, these where the ones iv had myself from ICELAND. VERY POOR. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE AS THEY WILL USE CHEAP PRODUCT TO REPLACE ITEMS WHEN THEY RUN OUT. CUSTOMER COMES LAST.

I have eaten from this place several times and each time I do it continues to impress me. For several reasons I would recommend Peri express *good service and I have ordered online and by telephone (always polite and helpful) *fast delivery even during busy times *food quality is excellent and the food portions are perfect. If I had to recommend anything the sky scraper meal, half chicken meal and the banoffee pie are all fantastic. Thanks!!

This place is either great or poor. A couple of years ago the food was always lovely but over the last few months it's been disappointing. Tonight the chicken wrap was not what I ordered, no sauce, which has happened before. The peri salted chips tasted like warm-ups only slightly saved by the seasoning. The overpriced "Malteser Cheesecake" was like mush and tasted awful. All in all £16 wasted.

I just wanted to say thank you for some of the best take away food I have ever had. The order came so quickly, everything was correct. I felt like it was restaurant quality. The cheesy garlic bread was on ciabatta bread, great side portions, loved the olives. The chicken was absolutely amazing, crispy, flavoured skin, succulent meat & cut up in easy to manage portions. The delivery lady was really nice & smiley too! Thank you for a very satisfying & delicious experience! I will be coming to you guys rather than Spit Roast (who messed up my last two orders) from now on! Have a lovely night! You helped make mine boss! :)
