Darren served us for afternoon for my mother’s birthday and he was fabulous. Darren was extremely polite, tentative and helpful. We had the most lovely time, the experience was made even better by Darren’s service

This is a great traditional pub near to Southport's main attractions, the drinks are reasonably priced, it's a large pub with plenty of seating inside and also a nice seating area outside the front, on fair weather days on a Saturday afternoon they usually have an artist on outside which is great for a good atmosphere, on Sunday's they have Bill.I.Am doing Karaoke in the afternoon, again outside if the weather is fine, we really enjoy singing so this was great fun and Bill is a real character that does his utmost to get everyone up singing when it's busy, recommended from us , we've really enjoyed going here and it's close to our favourite hotel so it's perfect, we'll be returning soon. I booked the room at Alderley Edge to host my 30th and my partners 40th. The staff there were incredible and helped make the day/night run so smoothly. I had so much help from Lucy to organise the night. It was the perfect party! Lots of parking space for guests. Food could accommodate all. Friendly staff working the bar. 5 star and would definitely recommend!

Average. Ok for lunchtime. I had the jackfruit and black bean chillie which had the heat but not the depth of flavour. Not much more I can say about the place. It was ok.

£7..75 for a single Bacardi & coke, just came back from town and this was the dearest drink of the night!!! Nice bar but way to expensive for what it is.

¡Qué bonita sorpresa encontrar este pequeño sabor de Portugal en un centro comercial de Manchester! En primer lugar, fue una agradable sorpresa descubrir un mercado de comida anticuada en el primer piso de un moderno centro comercial. ¡De qué se trata! Luego, para encontrar este encantador pequeño puesto de venta de pastel de natas - las tradicionales tartas de natillas portuguesas - bueno, eso fue aún mejor. Estos pasteles, con su cremoso centro de natillas y pastelería crujiente en escamas, son increíblemente deliciosos, tan buenos como los que disfruté en Lisboa. Creadas originalmente por monjes portugueses en el siglo XVIII para aprovechar las yemas que sobraban de la almidonadura de sus túnicas con claras de huevo, estas deliciosas creaciones se han convertido en un placer popular en ese país ibérico. Espero que los residentes de Manchester se den cuenta del tesoro que tienen en este pequeño mercado escondido en el centro comercial Arndale. En serio, deje lo que está haciendo y vaya allí ahora para tener uno. O tres.

Called a order for ..Cheeseburger & chips & 9 inch Meat Feast Pizza..Delivery came no cheeseburger/ cheesy chips instead..Pizza was stone cold..my partner foned to complain & asked what's happened to be told you can pay for a cheeseburger to be delivered..What a joke ..will never use them again ..Attitude was horrendous when my partner complained..Bye Bye Munchies

Bursa kebab served on a platter which skated across the table making it difficult to cut the stale pitta bread. Sub standard meat drenched in a tomato sauce.

Entró a una cervecería medio vacía un sábado a la hora de comer, eventualmente se sentó cuando el equipo podría molestarse en sentarnos. Pedimos algunas bebidas mientras esperamos a nuestros amigos. Las bebidas llegaron y eran excelentes, tan buenas que pedimos otra ronda, esta fue rechazada ya que se habían quedado sin ingredientes para hacer un Bloody Mary! ¡Salgan después de hacer 3! Pedimos otra cosa y no sabían cómo hacerlas.

On arrival I asked if a table was available for two people, “ have you booked ?” I replied I would not be asking if you had a table available if I had booked. After the receptionist spent a considerable time searching through various screens on her desktop we were eventually shown to our table. Drinks orders duly taken and arrived shortly. We waited for our meal order to be taken and waited and waited eventually a young lady arrived and took our meal order and again this was delivered after a wait. The food was very tasty well presented and the staff very pleasant and polite but painfully slow, why ? During our meal there must have been at least 40 tables vacant during the time we were there so what was all the looking and searching for an available table for. No offer to see if more drinks were required and no offer of a sweet menu ( management due to lack of training are missing out here). On paying my bill a staff tip ie service charge of 7.5% was added and due to the poor service I declined. I assume the Bears Paw tip everyone who delivers to them or collects refuse or dray men I think not.
