Cute shop, nice atmosphere, not crowded, very delicious food. It's the most delicious coffee I've ever had in England.

Relaxed and rustic vibe enhanced by friendly staff who have time to chat. Swift service, wide range of unusual teas, delicious food with a unique twist - dressed with home-made flavoured oils. Returned the same day as we couldn’t find a better câfé in the area.

So glad there was no tables at Moose coffee as this place was better in every aspect. Will definitely be back here again. The mushroom toast was amazing.

Visita al almuerzo. La decoración es genial con motivos japoneses y linternas colgando del techo. Los asientos son de banco comunitario, mesas y estilos de barra. Pedido Huevos Clásicos Benedict con lado de las salchichas del abuelo. Esto fue excelente, las salchichas estaban para morir, muy sabroso. Hija tenía la pila de desayuno de nuevo muy fresco y sabroso. Desayuno El té era fuerte y caliente. El servicio era rápido y el lugar era popular.

Everything about North Star is great, the service was incredible, the food is affordable and made me ascend to heaven, the atmosphere is cozy and cute, perfect brunch spot!

Service was terrible unfortunately. It took 20 minutes after ordering for our waters to arrive, and when the food came they didn’t offer sauces or napkins etc and never came to check on us after. We might as well have been sat down the street

El único punto constructivo es que el aguacate 🥑 smash podría haber sido más fresco, era un poco marrón, tal vez preparado con demasiada antelación. ¡Sin embargo, no afectó el sabor!

We ordered breakfast for 5, and it took 25 minutes to get ready. I liked the eggs and the tea, but the spinach was too soggy and looked frozen.

We went on Saturday before noon and there was still space on the tables, but even so the service was somewhat slow. The wait was worth it because the breakfast of bread, guacamole, bacon and sausage was delicious, as was the green smoothie. The cookie was also full of chocolate, great flavor. The staff is friendly but perhaps they need to work on the process of placing the order and the payments, since it is confusing if you order at the checkout, in the app or at the table.

Update your opening hours as you are closed when google says you’re open. Walked from the station to eat here as it looked lovely. But closed. Whoops, next time 🤣

Ventured here after reading the mostly good reviews, arrived around 10:15am on a Sunday morning to find they’d only just opened and the kitchen wasn’t serving yet so I think your listed hours on here are wrong? Was happy to wait, food arrived quickly and was really tasty. Mushrooms on toast with kimchi butter was something I haven’t seen before but was full of flavour, might need a sharper knife for the sourdough 😬 Inside/out were doggy-friendly with treats and water bowls available.

My sister and I decided to visit this cafe on Monday, the first of April, expecting a pleasant breakfast experience. However, what we encountered was far from satisfactory. Overall, the combination of poor service, tasteless food, and unprofessional behavior ensures that my sister and I will not be returning to this cafe. It's truly disheartening when a potentially enjoyable dining experience is marred by such incompetence. Upon entering, we were the only two customers in the cafe, which initially seemed promising for a quick and attentive service. We ordered smoothies, a full English breakfast, and waffles.The smoothies tasted disappointingly like water. The real trouble began when it came to our food orders. Despite being the only customers, my sister finished her meal before my waffles even arrived. It took two reminders to the staff to finally get them started on my order, and even then, they only began preparing it when my sister was nearly finished eating. To make matters worse, when my waffle finally arrived, it was burned beyond recognition. Instead of acknowledging the mistake and offering a proper solution, the staff member attempted to salvage it by repeatedly poking it with a stick, rendering it inedible. Paying £10 for a burned waffle is not only disappointing but also unacceptable. When I requested a refund for the waffle, the response I received was both unapologetic and rude. The staff member begrudgingly refunded only the cost of the waffle (which I never got!) and then attempted to placate me with a simple egg and toast replacement. I ended in further disappointment as I received nothing but burned toast after an additional 20-minute wait. The lack of accountability and professionalism from the lady at the till was truly appalling. A sincere apology and a full refund should have been offered without hesitation.

Coconut milk matcha latte first class 💚 lovely relaxed environment. They sell various coffees and teas. I would definitely recommend.

We went here for a late breakie / brunch. My boyfriend had the breakfast bun and loved it, I had the club sandwich which took a little longer to arrive but was delicious. The coffee was also really lovely. The café itself is very cute looking with lots of greenery and plants to buy.

Really cute tucked away coffee shop. I loved the vibe as soon as I walked in. They have a lot of living greenery, some of which are also for sale. They have a great selection of coffee and even a few cheeky cocktails. Obviously, the espresso martini is particularly nice! I would also recommend the espresso tonic, if you like iced coffee and you like tonic water, this is a great option.

Got a rock hard panini, which I had to wait over 20 minutes for. Everyone else who was served after me got their food before me. Guess it’s your way of saying ‘don’t come back’ - and I shan’t. Dismal service.

My favourite little place in Manchester for a coffee, cake, or light snacks. Away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. Vicky makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk in to the cafe. And Nigel rustles up the magic in the back. It is a little Oasis of calm.

This breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve ever had! Me and my partner dined her for breakfast on 24th of December 2023,it was amazing. We were greeted by the staff who were jolly and welcoming. The drinks and food within 15 minutes. The atmosphere was beautiful I felt so calm and relaxed in this cafe. Will be returning as soon as we are back in Manchester. Thank you so much!! 🤍

What a great place this is! Warm atmosphere, good coffee, food and service. The plants add a nice touch too. I walked past this cafe yesterday and decided to pay a visit. I'm very glad that I did! I'd recommend this cafe to anyone who wants to experience something different from the coffee chains in the area. Came back for brunch today and certainly not disappointed.

Omg this place is now a little escape sanctuary for me. I'm a huge lover of plants, coffeee and lush food and here you're surrounded by it ❤️❤️❤️the atmosphere is so relaxing and I didn't want to leave. Ordered a full English, a vegetarian sandwich, coffee and a bloody Mary. Drinks were served very fast with the full English. The other dish came after almost 10 minutes. Food was horrible, no seasoning, mushrooms were soggy, beans were bland as hell. Bloody Mary was just tomato juice with a lemon in it. Sandwich (chef called it panini but menu said sandwich) was avocado, tomato and pesto but the bread was completely soaked in residue water from the tomato, wasn't even toasted at all. Definitely not coming back.

A gem in Manchester! My boyfriend and I have been coming to this cafe for nearly two years and every time we visit we never leave disappointed or hungry. The staff are always extremely welcoming and friendly; a lovely atmosphere, amazing coffee, great food and service. Affordable for students and a great cafe for studying too. Would definitely recommend to give this place a visit!

Had some time between trains so came here. As previously mentioned, it’s an oasis of calm, good food and excellent service. Great coffee. Staff noticed my struggle to spread frozen butter so found me a softer portion! Retail is detail. Fabulous.

Had some brunch with my boys earlier. Some issues with the order, 1 of 3 meals not turning up, then after prompting staff the order being wrong, I could get over that if the food was half decent but it’s not. Grandads sausages are look warm and appear to be poor quality. All the bread is from Aldi whether slided or brioche and you only get 1 round of toast with poached eggs. With all the choice in Manchester its just not good enough to get repeat business. Coffee is also poor.

Staff seemed nice enough, no issues there. One of the worst Huevos rancheros I’ve had, came out freezing cold as if it was tinned tomatoes straight from the tin to the bowl. Friends had full English, bacon was definitely cooked the day before (like rock & cold) Shame, cool little place but very poor quality of food.

I find it difficult to understand the negative comments posted in other reviews because I found this cafe a delight to experience. It is non-pretentious, polite and friendly, quick and efficient, and good food at reasonable prices for Manchester. The omelette with spinach was nice and a satisfactory portion size served with tasty avo. My only criticism is that I personally feel the halloumi could be improved as it lacked flavour or the omelette could have included a cheese. The tea with soya milk was nice and the staff were excellent who served us.

Had a great brunch here. The food and coffee were nice, and the Bloody Mary's were excellent. Very friendly service, with a comfortable atmosphere. They were happy to welcome our dog.

We visited today, expensive for a PG Tips £2.50 , it's much cheaper for a better Tea Bag elsewhere. The thing that dusgusted me was the state of the toilet. Dirty and disgusting! Thick dust and dirt on walls, disabled emergency light, toilet even the fan on the wall is disgusting etc .. if they can't Keep a toilet clean I'd hate to see the kitchen, that toilet needs a good hour clean up URGENTLY. People have dust allergies and some people like a lavatory to be clean.

First visit here and would definitely return. Very quaint place, food and service excellent. Will return

First visit. 2.85£ for an Americano is reasonable and very good coffee. Really like the interior. Two large bench tables, plus shelf seating and a couple of outside tables. Breakfasts look good. Flat Eric makes a rare outing.

Stayed over in Manchester for the weekend/pride2022 and went to the North Star Piccadilly cafe for breakfast/brunch every morning. The customer service is fantastic and food was absolutely delightful. I would recommend this endearing cafe in heart beat to anyone who is staying the area. Thank you for the croissant <3

Great food and great coffee! A little hidden gem

Food took half an hour to come out and when it did it was cold (there was hardly anyone in the cafe). We all got eggs and they were all cold which is not an enjoyable experience. The staff didn’t seem to care it was late or about making the food nice. Very disappointed

This was the second time that I visited this cafe whilst in Manchester. I really like the vibe, there must be nearly 100 plants in the place and that makes it feel very welcoming. I especially like their speciality teas and bought some of the green tea with Rose and lemon to enjoy at home one visit, and the chocolate redbush the other visit. I haven't eaten here other than some cake (which was really nice and I ate that on the train on the way home, The cafe is about 5 mins from Piccadilly station.) I noticed the staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to look after me. Thank you I'll come again when I'm next in Manchester!

Looks great outside, looks great inside, then it all falls apart. The signature dish, chicken teriyaki and rice, was not available as they were changing the menu and there was no chicken teriyaki, even though it was on the menu we were given. However, and mysteriously, we were offered waffles with chicken teriyaki and bacon, so it made a sudden and dramatic re-appearance! And WOW, it was awful - a burnt mess of blackened bacon, chicken and grease - most could not be eaten, which is highly unusual for me. So, great concept but terrible execution and they need a much better waitress and a much better chef i.e. a complete staff change. I was with clients (who had chosen the place) so did not wish to complain and cause discomfort, as was justified, but some severe lip biting took place.

Absolutely lovely place coffee was fab & the sour dough waffle with poached eggs and halloumi was delish !! Highly recommend

Very long wait times. Parts of order came out ages before the rest. Food was good - what was on the plate didn’t quite match what was ordered but didn’t question as was hungry and couldn’t stand another long wait. Didn’t seem like anybody really worked together as a team. Asked to move table part way through as a party of six who had booked turned up - but the restaurant wasn’t expecting them.

If you are in manchester and know the look out for a nice place to grab a breakfast, look no further. Loved this place and only wish I had discovered it sooner. Food was great. And I'm a very fussy person to please when it comes to coffee and the guy here makes one of the best I have had. Had one before and after my breakfast. We waited for around 10 minute for our breakfast and they apologised for the wait and gave me a free brownie and a brew (coffee) I couldn't understand why as I didn't think it was much of a wait. I have waited longer in most places. The people are so nice and they deserve all the customer they can handle in my opinion. I will literally be planning my next stay in manchester around being able to visit here again. My names maximus I may not have a trip adviser account but this review is genuinely legit. Very poor wait times for food, had to wait an hour for a simple order. Food was very tasty when it came.

Been there today with my fellow friends and cyclists. Such an inviting and cosy place. Had poached eggs on toast and gorgeous chai latte. We will stop here again.

very busy when we entered but soon quietened down. The place is small but plesant suroundings and nice atmosphere. The young guy who served us was very plesant and helpful. I ordered the full English £10.50. The sausages, Mushrooms and Bacon tasted amazing. Best i have tasted in a long time. The only downside was everything was covered in chopped chives which meant food was getting cold by the time i had scrapped it all off. The beans were left due to the chives. I have never known chopped chives to be included in a full English breakfast. My friend had the breakfast bun which was also covered in chopped chives and had to be scrapped off. The hot chocolate was a dream although could have been hotter. My concern was the young girl who was serving who kept playing with her long hair and rubbing her nose and then handling the cups etc and wiping down the counter without washing her hands. Another concern was the guy who arrived and walked into the kitchen without washing his hands and then cleaned a pan with a piece of kitchen roll. He was obviously staff who had popped in on his day off. On leaving despite us being the only ustomers there was no "how was your meal or thank you" untill we said good bye and were half way out the door. Overall the food tasted good, The best i have tasted but let down by minor things that could have been avoided.
