without a doubt best shish lamb I've ever had from the takeaway. so tender! beautiful hummus and bread too. loved it!

Unassuming from the outside the food here is incredible. Good choice on the menu and cooked to order. The falalel are served hot and are huge. They do an amazing tomato and onion salad.... very moreish. Tip do not eat the salad whilst waiting for your main. So good I came back on another occasion.

Everything was so delicious, hot and fresh tasting, plenty of meat in the kebabs. Houmous and even the garlic sauce tasted homemade. Arrived earlier than stated despite us not living close. Will be ordering again!

Good food as usual but the driver was rude to my girlfriend and lied that he had been knocking for five minutes. Luckily for him we have a camera showing him knock less than 30 seconds before she answered the door. Best not to take your attitude out on customers.

First time ordering from this place and the food was great, super fresh and good portion size!

No complaints with the food or the service. Kebab priced at £10 approx. Red cabbage in the salad is always a bonus. The place was a little unkempt as compared to several of the other more fanciful eateries along the road, and the walk to the toilet could do with a little tidy up, as could the toilet. This is more like a takeaway with seats rather than a restaurant.

My experience with ALIF was great, the diverse menu offered a range of flavorful dishes, from fresh salads to savory grilled meats. The ambiance was inviting, creating a relaxed atmosphere for dining. The attentive service added to the positive experience. While the food was delicious. I would gladly return for another satisfying meal.

Great host, it was a group of us 19 people about 15 minutes before closing time. They catered for us to eat in and stayed open until we were all comfortably finished eating. Clean, friendly and nice affordable food in great location.

I had a cheese burger there..it was one of the best I've had, but waiting was long, hence the 4 star.

The owner is an example of disrespect when I came to buy food he told me he only accepts cash I said with innocents intentions “why?” then he shouted at me like if he was a child “WE JUST DONT!!” over and over he shouted in the middle of the restaurant what a weird rude owner terrible atmosphere even the staff are afraid of him I will never ever come back to that “syco”

Main guy was pretty rude on last visit. He needs to change attitude if he wants people to revisit. Food was OK at best. But initial interaction just put me right off.

First time ordering at food arrived so quickly! Mixed platter was delicious with all the meat hot and juicy, lamb was banging tbh. Lovely rice and fresh salad. Moved here 3 years ago and this is the best I’ve eaten and definitely will be the regular place going forward!

I was scared of food initially as i am not fond of turkish style. But after first morsel all doubts flew away. Super food at economical rates. All of my family enjoyed one of the best grill food around .

Save your money people. Over priced, over salted- tasteless days old food. Can't believe this place is still going! What a waste of shop space. Arrogant staff also.

No frilles, cafe style seating and service. You order at the till and food is served to your chosen table. You pay at the till after your meal. We went for the mixed platter for 2 with salad and rice. Fresh food, great taste and fast service. Prices are reasonable. Meal for two set us back £30 ish including a soft drink each.

Nice food, have visited twice recently. Authentic med food and the staff are friendly. If you're looking for good authentic food at a decent price, without all the frills of a posh venue, I'd recommend a visit. Try the Sea Bass and Sweet Potato Fries. Parking at side on street. Can get very messy though. Beware for broken glass.

I went in early April during evening meal time and upon first review of the premises one has to remind ones self not to judge a book by its cover. Once inside we were met by friendly staff whose service was really excellent. I ordered the mix kebab and the meat taste is very good, but the sides are processed from Asda level of quality in that rice, chips and nan are not to same standard. However, likely I will return one day I am think.

Have often used takeway service but 1st time have eaten in. Not too busy, food good and interesting clientelle.

Their kofta kebabs are delicious, served with fresh salads and spiced fries. Big plate for £7.5 - You won't get anything better than that 🔥🔥🔥

Decided to order their food after contemplating it for months. I was disappointed and won’t be ordering again. I was forced to order extras as they wouldn’t amend order even though we ordered at shop and the extras went even worth it. The Lamb and chicken kebab was dry, Rice was tasteless, chips weren’t fresh. The portions were very poor esp after paying more for extra sides. Salad however was nicely seasoned. It was a hit and miss for me on this occasion. I will be trying other places.

Situado a tiro de piedra del centro de la ciudad, este Grill House es uno de los favoritos. El lugar pequeño pero acogedor siempre te hace sentir muy bienvenido. El servicio es amable y la comida fabulosa. Desde los entrantes de chuletas de cordero que siempre son suculentos hasta los platos principales, mi favorito es el pollo con arroz y una gran ensalada fresca. El pollo siempre está tierno, sabroso y el arroz tiene un sabor agradable y con un toque de salsa picante las comidas aquí siempre valen la pena. El pollo es mucho mejor que los de Nandos y otros especialistas locales en pollo. Definitivamente vale la pena una visita si está de paso hacia o desde la ciudad.

Called in after visiting the mother in law in hospital and got the mixed grill for 2. There was plenty of it and all the meats were really tender and tasty.Staff are very pleasant and welcoming.They wrapped up what we had left for us to take home.A really nice place and well worth the money .Will definitely be going back.

Among the best food I've had. Have eaten here roughly once a month for several years, and they never disappoint! Perfect food for both me, a vegetarian, and my partner who eats meat. Fantastic food great service and exceptional value

The service was exceptional .I had a party of 12 people and they organised a table .food was excellent and had the right flavours.

Alif is such good value and delicious! The falafel is the best I've had and the rice is so good. I recommend getting a selection of dishes and sharing with friends because there is so much to choose from.

Been eating at Alif Grill for a few years. The food is excellent. Friendly staff. No parking problems. Love the Salad, Spicy halumi cheese naan, mix shish and lamb chops. Would recommend to anyone wanting to eat in a relaxed environment. Work local usually go there for dinner with my colleagues. Very satisfied! :)

We came here on a Saturday afternoon. The food tasted good (although it's not authentic Turkish food at all) but hygiene is lacking in this place. The trays the bread came in were filthy, you could see the dirt collected inside the straw material. Also the bottle opener given to us to open the drinks was filthy. It was a shame that due to the hygiene we couldn't really enjoy the food. We started to question whether the rice was fresh and if the sauce bottles were clean.

The restaurant itself could use some TLC, but the food is always top drawer. Never had a bad meal there. The staff are a mixed bag, there's one or two who are a bit moody but the majority, including the main guys, are always super friendly and helpful. You can tell it's a traditional restaurant and they take real pride in what they do. Love this place and the food it offers!

Que pedimos desde aquí 3 veces y ha sido realmente un mezcla de todo. Las dos primeras veces que pedimos la mitad de pollo y kebabs de carne con arroz y era agradable - pero sin duda no es super deliciosa de buena calidad para llevar comida.

A través de Casa pedí el hambre y tan pronto como me había pedido que me llamó el lugar para pedir requisitos especiales con mi pedido de entrega. Fueron muy amables y sabían mi orden. Cuando llegó rápidamente a tiempo yo estaba más impresionado con la calidad de la carne y la relación calidad-precio con guarniciones. Vivir en Manchester, hay muchos mal kebab comprada en Manchester. Sin duda recomendaría este. Gracias por un gran servicio!

Una vez más nunca me han decepcionado por Alif. Tienen muchos llevar desde aquí entregado. Los pinchos son de lo mejor que he tenido en mucho tiempo. Un montón de carne en todas sus kebabs, así las raciones son abundantes y llenan perfectamente (o a veces más allá de la capacidad).

Estaba buscando a través de comer solo para oriente medio, y encontré este pequeño gran descubrimiento. La comida llegó en unos 40 minutos (que para comer solo es estupenda distribución). La comida era estupenda. Tuve houmous, arroz, pollo y cordero kebab y patatas fritas con ensalada. Fue muy sabroso y sin duda pedir de nuevo.

The restaurant is actually closer to Manchester City Centre than to Cheetham Hill as it is known.We have ordered the odd take away from this place and as we were at the Fort and Nandos had a 20 minute wait, we thought we'd try to eat int.It is actually a very discreet place - because I have only known it as a takeway - it is actually quite a nice restaurant and very pleasant to be in.The service was very nice, the level of hygiene seemed high and the food was, well what can I say.... very tasty and healthy.I am really glad that I visited their restaurant because it gives me a very good option to eat out at more often.

Once again another great place on Cheetham Hill Road for takeaway. You definitely have to try their garlic naan chicken kebab and chips!

The Alif Grill has to be one of the best takeaways in Manchester. It is just superb. I had the veg Kebab with 2 sides (chips, salad). How can I describe it. It had mushrooms and courgette and halloumi cheese chargrilled and so tasty. Mikey had mix kebab (lamb and chicken) with one side (rice with chick peas). The food was there in 22 minutes and the whole thing was gorgeous. Tasty, hot, spicy and well presented. Lots of sauces - didn't order them - and complimentary Turkish bread. It was so good. Had food from there twice now. It is just beautiful. And the delivery... Both times now we've been still in the pub!!! Our favourite take-away by a mile. I know of no better establishment.

Went to this place thinking it would have top food and service. Went in and no one asking for my order. No menu visible. Everyone just chatting behind the counter and some staff preparing food orders. Asked where the menu is and got given a flyer that you get through your letter box. How unprofessional. The food is a bit expensive and I wouldn't say it's top quality. Much better options available elsewhere. Will not be coming back.

I'm a very picky eater and no a lot of things would make my mouth water but the grilled chicken that they make is to die for, also the grilled hallomy is very good, I have also tried there burger and I would say that it had great flavour, so basically what I'm trying to say is that they have really good food and great service, and if you don't want to go there don't worry they make deliveries.

The place to go for good clean burgers. I know, I know, you're thinking how is that possible? But with hand made burgers and freshly marinated meat, this is the place to go! It's up till 11pm with super speedy service!

I come here regularly I'm sat here now writing this we as a family love the food always fresh and tasty. Healthy and delicious food every time. Friendly staff and good choice of food. Everybody is always welcome a shame it's a Lil too far for them to deliver but It's not too far to come in so I can't complain. Cheers guys

We have been visiting manchester for the last two days. We was looking for somewhere to eat the first day and found Alif on here. The food and service was faultless. The food was to a high standard and plenty of it. The second day we didn't want to try somewhere and get a bad meal so we went again. Yet again is was excellent. I can say it is the best tasting kebabs I've had. When leaving one of the staff came and shouted I had left my iPhone 6+ in the restaurant. I was very thankful and this wouldn't of happened in many places. So very good food, good service, clean and very honest. Will be going again when we are next around.

I read a couple of reviews about this place and cannot understand because I have ordered twice from this place withing two weeks (today being latest) - Their kebabs are the best anywhere along Cheetham Hill. The salad is actually fresh - from other places like Star and Sanam and Santos you do not get as fresh salad. Teh lamb curry is also really nice as is the chicken tikka. The Turkish bread they give with the curry is the nicest bread in the area - nicer than the chappatis and pitta. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I have had the nicest kebabs and curry recently and it was from Alif Grill. We did order from Just Eat so I am not sure if that makes a difference to calling over the phone or not....maybe the folks who have had bad experiences whould try ordering off Just Eat...

I live in the local area and been going to Alif grill for the last few years.Generally the experience is ok.However on Friday evening I ordered food to takeout for me and friend, and I ordered what I generally get.I sent my friend inside to collect the food, and they charged him an extra £2.50 for 2 pickles something that is generally free!!I was fuming as they've clearly taken advantage that he didn't know better.After complaining to the management, they still didn't apologise or try to rectify the situation. The service in this place is shocking and they need to seriously sort there customer service skills out.I'm not bothered at the fact they charged £2.50 my disappointment is at the fact they've taken advantage of a new person, and I regret to think of the other people who are getting ripped off every day when eating or ordering there. It truly is disgraceful and they should be ashamed. I would recommend everyone to avoid this place as the prices are extortionate and are a rip off! Not worth it at all!If I could I would give them a score in the minus!

The service is ridiculous and the management are unreasonable. We always have to make a phone call to chase our order after an a hour, they have never delivered on time but the food was OK so we put up with it…Once I called to cancel an order within 20mins and they started interrogating me LOL. We've probably ordered from their a dozen times and we live 3.8miles away. A few days later we tried to order (giver them business back) they told the manager and he said he refuses to deliver to our address! I asked why and he said "because of last time" to which I replied "the cancelled order?" He then said "yes you have to pay for it or somebody has to pay..."It's like they are willing to loose and refuse customers! I try to reason with him and tell him he knows this number and me and that we have ordered from you plenty of times and we put up with your poor delivery AND you often forget to give us the humus we paid for! But we still ordered again because we like you. And your food.But this geeza was clueless, rude, shouting at me, up his own bum basically saying to us we are stupid and he doesn't want to give a good service to us and he doesn't value repeat business and loyal customers.STUPID guys like this are the type to drop your meat on the floor and cook it rather than keep everything clean for you.

This is a great little place, I don't think I would call it a takeaway or a restaurant, as it's too casual for a restaurant and the food quality is too good for a takeaway. All cooked fresh in front of you with with a great choice of food. Love the hummous, Halloumi cheese, steamed chicken are all spot on.... It's basically a better version of nandos. The interior is a bit dull and cold that's my only criticism, but really clean so that's all that counts.
