Came here with friends for a roast which was very nice. Great service and hope the roasts continue to be on the menu.

Beautiful restaurant. Lovely atmosphere and modern decor. Staff were attentive, friendly and really looked after us. Wine was delicious and priced fairly. A steady stream of locals and the place was pretty much full throughout. Its hard to find a sunday roast that compares to my wifes cooking - well this is the place. Highly recommend, definitley will visit again. (regualr menu looked delicious as well). Cant fault anything on the menu 10/10

First time at 625 what a gem! Atmosphere was lovely ! Food was delicious….will definitely be going back.

An amazing evening. Fabulous food. Great atmosphere. This was our first time eating here & it was simply superb. Thanks to Charlie, Alex & Zoe, all of whom made the experience special. Pre-dinner drinks to helping us with our dinner choices was first class. We will certainly be back.

I find it embarrassing that people have the time to write a bad review without doing their research. It’s sad actually. People are so quick to write a bad review. Clearly the argument with the husband pushed a few buttons. 625 IS 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ HYGIENE RATING. It’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From start to finish. The restaurant was started for people to enjoy small plates and a different style of dining. Its done that and it will continue doing so. The 1 star’s are highly entertaining. I hope your cat pisses on your pillow.

We’re disturbed having eaten there that they have had a zero hygiene rating! We’ll wait until they get their act in order now.

It’s the first time I have visited 625 and I am really impressed! From start to finish I was always checked on by staff and was never left without an empty glass. Amazing staff and service.

Walked from Thurstaton to West Kirby and was looking for somewhere for lunch. Came across 625 and was very impressed. We ordered the small plates and the food and service were excellent. The staff were really friendly. Will definitely be visiting again.

Had a fantastic meal here, menu was small but the quality of the food was fantastic and the wine menu was excellent. Recommend booking as it is a small venue, but highly recommend. We shared 3 small plates between 2 to start, and a large plate each to follow.

We visited for a birthday and a catch-up with friends, we couldn’t have chose a better restaurant. A lovely informal setting with friendly staff and exceptional food. We chose a selection of different plates to share and on reflection some I just wouldn’t share due to the fact that I could have eaten them all myself quite happily. All in all a very pleasant and relaxed evening with a lovely flow of food at a comfortable pace, delivered with a lovely wine selection and followed by some excellent cheese We all agreed that we will definitely be returning to continue our journey through the menu (and revisit some of it) as soon as possible couldn’t recommend highly enough

Called in for lunch with my partner and his elderly father. We couldn't have been more disappointed with the meal, portions and service. 'We'd ordered 3 coffees whilst waiting for a selection of 'four small plates', a flatbread and side order of chunky chips with a view to all 'dipping in' and sharing. The coffees came one at a time with a significant delay before each of us got our drinks, the young waitress seemingly oblivious to basic customer service, and giving an impression of having all the time in the world. My partner had to ask for sugar, only to be asked how many, the sugar came..then we had to ask for a spoon to stir the drinks.... Did they not have serving trays? As with the drinks, our meals eventually came one at a time, again with enough time elapsing between dishes arriving for it to seem they were not being prepared as an individual table order. I'd finished my tomato and burrata salad before my partner's father"s food l arrived. My partners eventually came out last and very much least. It was was a prawn hotdog which was approx 3 inches long and as dry as the Sahara. We waited a further 20 minutes before the side of chips was brought to the table, and by which time we 'd decided to leave. All in all we were very disappointed to have chosen this venue based on its reviews. As we complained, a fellow customer was nodding his head in agreement, he and his partner and small baby son had arrived around the same time as us and had a similar experience. We asked to see the Manager and to his credit he waived the cost of the meal, his explanation was they'd been unexpectedly busy that they weren't able to deliver on this occasion. I'm sorry but on a Saturday afternoon, in high summer in West Kirby you should expect plenty of custom. One server and one apparent chef does not cut it! We would have preferred to pay for an enjoyable experience, not go away very disappointed that we couldn't enjoy a precious meal with our elderly relative who has been battling serious illness for the past 3 months. We won't be returning here again.

3.5 stars really. Food was excellent; Creative tasty and high quality. My only criticism is the service was just so slow for food. Reasonably priced. Would be good if menu could be extended.

The interior is nice and classic. The menu looks great but I have to say that the dishes were quite difficult to share. We were told 2-3 dishes per person. We ordered 3 off each meat, fish and veg section of the menu. I was confused how you would share a soup? We didn’t order it to find out. The dishes were great but I just wanted more than my mouthful I got. The cod was great, the bbq sweetcorn amazing and the crab I could have eaten a bucket of! I was a bit shocked by the final bill as I didn’t feel like I had eaten that much… but to be fair it did include alcohol. In all glad we went but not sure I’d rush back sorry to say.
