Two portions of most of dishes it's enough for two adults and four little kids. Home made food looks great and taste even better. My little ones just love the place. Friendly atmosphere, good quality meals made with afford and hart. Highly recommend

My husband and I and a friend went to Gophers Station on 8th February 2019 for dinner. We love Polish food and ordered soup of the day which we were told it was asparagus. Unfortunately there were no asparagus in the soup, asked for cod , but they didn’t have any. We ordered stew and potato pancake and dumplings. The dumplings were doughy, no taste. The stew and the pancake were saturated in fat and the salad was dry and tasteless. A health and safety issue is the long and very steep flight of stair which did not have a handrail. This is seriously dangerous for able body and even more so for less agile people. NEVER AGAIN!

Increíbles platos tradicionales recién hechos hechos a pedido y fantásticas cosas útiles. Gran restaurante con una encantadora decoración de montaña, un gran ambiente se siente como estar en un pequeño pueblo en las montañas polacas.

As a self-confessed foodie, I love this place for serving authentic and delicious food. I was lucky enough to experience a catering service from Gopher Station and they made everyone's day by serving traditional Polish cuisine! If you are in Manchester and love trying new things or find out, how Polish food should taste - that is the place to visit.

We went for a quick bit in the cafe on Sunday but were told the restaurant is opened. What a surprise treat. We ordered the chops for 2. The portions are genorus and the meat so tendered that it melt in the mouth. The sauce is lovely. Will visit again.

Food and atmosphere excellent- would recommend. We opted for the a la carte rather than tasting menu, all three dishes and sides were excellent - highlight for me was the steak tartare. We seem to run in to problems not with service per se, there was some issue with food ticket system which meant a delay between starter and main which was considerable, staff were apologetic and a free round of drinks was offered which mitigated the problem. We did wait 30 mins to be seated at our table and had a drink in the bar area whilst we waited, this might not be an issue for some folk but personally I prefer to be seated at my booking time. A few small issues which didn’t detract from the overall experience, and still rated the food and overall experience highly!

Just had lunch here, was a really nice place. The staff were very kind and helpful, the food came quickly and was very nice too. I was a bit gutted as my friend got a mixed grill which trumped my chicken and avocado. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

The owner is a very nice person and so is the staff. I had English breakfast. The best halal hash browns and sausages I have ever had. Turkish tea with delight was very delightful. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

Wow, what an amazing experience. The Sunday roast was out of this world. It was a sunny day, so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sun while we ate. Well worth the money! Thanks, guys.

We come here every time we are in Manchester, every day (though last time we travelled on a Monday and discovered Platzki is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays; that seems to be a new development under new management). I’ve been seeing negative reviews but can’t understand what that’s about. The food is as excellent as ever, with spectacular new dishes (the duck cutlets and the pumpkin gnocchi are to die for). The raspberry vodka is also delicious. The team checked on us often and were friendly. While the team has changed under new management, the lovely lady at the bar still knows how to make the special tea with rum and orange that used to be on the menu but isn’t anymore. The tea is incredible and it’d be a shame if that team member left and no one knew how to make it anymore, so please put it back on the menu, guys! One thing that would make Platzki even better is if they you to offer rye bread with lard/butter for a starter/snack like you used to under old management. But overall Platzki is fantastic, wishing the team the absolute best for the future and hope you guys continue thriving. We will be back in a few weeks when we’re in Manchester again.
