Delicious coffee and really really friendly staff! Absolutely lovely place! Cheaper and better than giving your money to a chain!!

My favourite place to visit for brunch in Manchester. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.

Great little cafe providing a lovely selection of food and drinks. They do breakfast here all day which is nice as not many places have that option! There is an upstairs seating area too which u didn’t realise as first so will sit there next time.

Brunch not too bad Just a shame to still be serving 50cl plastic water bottles in 2025...

The food was very low and cheap quality and price was very expensive for English breakfast £14 I wouldn’t go again

Very nice cafe. With a lovely view of the art gallery. My partner gave her French Toast an 8.5 out of ten. She rarely scores more than 7. My pastrami sandwich was also good.

This is a very nice place for a coffee and has a decent menu.the coffee was a little bitter but very nice.the shop is well located close to St Peters Square.it has easy access for the disabled.there is plenty of public transport nearby.

I very much enjoyed a Fruit Burst tea from here- served steaming hot. There were several exciting-sounding hot chocolates on the menu that I need to go back and try!

Friendly atmosphere and excellent service, however, one of the coffees was too diluted, lacked a thick texture, and the other smelled like burnt hay. The shop might not have good quality coffee. The dessert was exceptional, the best we had in Manchester.

The man serving us was extremely friendly and happy to go through the options of what was available. The pistachio french toast was amazing, and really good value for money! The drinks were delicious and presented in a gorgeous way, absolutely would go back and recommend to friends!

Great cafe in the heart of Piccadilly. I went there to treat myself to a nice cup of coffee and Oreo vegan cake and was really happy. The waitress took time to answer my questions before placing my order and my meal came right on time. The atmosphere was lovely and cozy and they have sitting area close to the windows for people watching while enjoying a meal.

A convenient brunch spot, located right next to St. Peter’s Square—perfect if you’re short on time. The restaurant doesn’t particularly stand out in terms of design or atmosphere, but the staff were very friendly and kind. The food was decent and enjoyable; we ordered the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and the English Breakfast.

Really recommend Vienna Coffee House. Walk ins welcome, service always attentive and on point. Had no issues seating my group of 12. The quality of the drinks was superb. A big fan of a Fiaker!

Wanted a morning coffe and a quick bite to eat. Got coffees, cake and a panini to take away. Emily was absolutley lovely and made us feel very welcome. Great atmosphere. I would defientley come back.

Staff are very welcoming and kind. They have all day breakfast 😍 and many Halal options 😘❤️. It is a quite, spacious, and lovely place to have a break or go with a friend.

Situated next to St Peter’s square, opposite the Art Gallery, Vienna Cafe is the perfect location for a nice brunch. Food and drinks were nice, we had potato and leek soup, full English breakfast and Biscoff pancakes; we got orange juice freshly squeezed which ended up being the star of the brunch. The cappuccino was also good. Overall the food didn’t particularly stand out but it wasn’t bad at all. They offer a very good range, would recommend paying a visit to this spot

Very loud and rowdy inside. The design of the restaurant increases the sounds within. Very busy at lunchtime. Ordered a 5 berry smoothie - was disappointed at the small size of the smoothie. Watery thin textured smoothie. Located centrally.

Stumbled upon this cafe by complete suprise and a hint of curiosity; this time it served well. The cafe offers a selection of Austrian style coffee's, with a nice welcoming atmosphere to drink in or take away. I had the Fiaker, a very nice double shot mocha with whipped cream and glacier cherries 🍒 Will be coming back again to try different coffee ☕.

Slowest service in the world. 25+ minutes for two coffees and a scone! It didn't respect the order of arrival to take the orders, which meant that 3 bigger tables ordered their brunches and drinks before us... really disappointed!

I love the food in this place but on someday, they don't open on time. I was stood outside til 8.05am this morning and needed to get off to work. Would've been nice to have got breakfast and a drink to take with me but I ended up going elsewhere. If you say you open at 8am, then open at 8am!

Visit here whenever in Manchester on an overnight stay - they do lovely coffee I have to say! I had poached eggs on sourdough with sausage and mushrooms and it was very nice

Really nice place, been before and everything was awesome. Only complaint if any was that it was really warm upstairs, like Really warm. Maybe an air con unit needs to be installed as it was a tad uncomfortable, but everything else was amazing.

Now that my usual cafe near the Town Hall has become inconsistent I was delighted when a colleague introduced me to Vienna Coffee House. Breakfast this morning was an excellent ham, cheese and mushroom omelette with a lovely crisp salad (admittedly salad at breakfast time is a bit odd!). And a really good blue berry smoothie. The ambience is very relaxing (compared to commuters rushing past outside and full trams heading into St Peter's Sq). Gentle music, attentive staff and Neil Roland photos on the wall all add to the effect. Highly recommended.

We took coffee and sweets...their coffee is delicious and their sweets are perfect

I went there today for breakfast and it was horrible. I ordered the waffle with Nutella and berries. It was the most disgusting waffles I have ever had. They were cold, doughy and just not edible. They were definitely not fresh either. So I just ate the fruits over it. The staff didn’t seem to care much. Highly NOT recommended.

Prelude: After a visit to the art gallery opposite, decided to pop in for a pick-me-up. Contrary to popular perceptions about eateries in the direct proximity to museums etc., this place is far from a tourist trap! Staff: Warmly welcoming and offered to talk me through recommend options for coffee. Chose the eponymous Venetian coffee with a cheery twist, absolutely delicious! Bit like a cross between vintage milkshake and espresso, but not so creamy that it reduces the caffeine punch. Greatly encouraged by the quality of my drink, I ordered a chicken salad, which was freshly prepared with appetising sauce on side. Portion was HUGE! The chicken was lovely roasted, with tomatoes and peppers properly sorted. Not a fan of ‘raw’ looking salads so it was definitely 100% for me. Atmosphere: Modern pastiches of artworks on the wall,nothing special to look at but suits the vibe from the gallery just fine. Conclusion: Would come back next time in town, count on that! PS No filters on the food; would spoil the originality amazing look otherwise 😋

Wonderful, central coffee shop with lots more to offer too- we had beautiful , fresh smoothies, tea, iced latte and all were amazing. lots of cakes, we had the vegan lemon cake which was nice :)

It is an early time to reach Manchester. As we are after the arrival at the airport, we just want to find something to eat. By the way, it is also the first time we visit Manchester. This is a good place to rest and chill. The food is good and the drinks are also very nice. Omelett tastes good, and the Benedict egg is excellent, too. My Cuppucino is the best one I have ever tasted before. Of course, the Earl Grey tea and the chocolate milk shake also fit my family taste, too. It is my suggestion to recommend any of you to come and enjoy the time here.

Every time we go to Manchester we have breakfast at this place. They have a wide variety of dishes but we love their Full English Breakfast and their Scones. This time we also ordered the Porridge and we also liked it a lot. In addition, the service is attentive and the price is correct.

Very solid breakfast place. I had a ham & cheese panini and a smoothie. The food was good. Price aint the worst either. £13.50 ish for that.

Not the same old cosy coffee shop it used to be. Food was okay, a little bland, nice drink, plenty of staff but could be more attentive, rather then gossiping about boys they only like as friends

Had a cup of tea and a Pistachio Hazelnut slice. The white chocolate button on top was a nice addition, and it looked great, although didn’t get a lot of hazelnut flavour. Really friendly service and a warm glow of an atmosphere for a Sunday morning.

Good location, opposite the museum. Food was okay, nothing to shout about and the cutlery was dirty so had to get up and change, then I realised another set was dirty too, which kind of gave me the ick

Went in for the first time today with my daughter, we had the cappuccinos with chocolate flakes , and a breakfast sandwich each, the cafe was very busy, we were seated straight away, and our order taken within 10 minutes, our drinks & food arrived very promptly, the staff were amazing, and very polite, the food was excellent, we will be returning very soon.

Accidentally ordered my girlfriend the chai tea instead of chai latte and now she won't even look at me. To be fair the tea was not very good, although my coffee was better.

Charged me 2.50£ for two pieces of halloumi without telling me taking the eggs of my halloumi toast will make it vegan toast where halloumi is extra ¿ then the girl in the till argued with the nice waiter who tried to get us a refund 👎🏻

Went here after an overnight in Manchester city centre and the food and service is excellent. There's a wide range of food and cater for dietary requirements too. The atmosphere is weird though. There's no music and if you're not looking out at the street all you will see and hear is the staff walking back and forth to the kitchen. Shame really.

I had the full English and tea. The food was delicious, the sausages were amazing (would highly recommend) the beans were the perfect thickness and not a runny mess, the eggs were perfect and were not runny. Basically everything tasted great. Aside from the food, the whole place has a relaxing vibe. I apologise as I forgot to take a picture of my plate when it arrived as I tucked in straight away but I can tell everyone reading this review that nothing went to waste.

Went there to take out cakes - which were all pretty great. The pistachio and chocolate coated cake was the highlight, but the chocolate biscoff cake and the lemon drizzle one were also quite good. Big slices too

Actually siting in here as I’m writing this, as this place is incredible. The fresh oranges juice was just what I needed and the food was delicious. The sausages on the full English is something out of this world and the smashed avocado (they give you halloumi, bacon and poached eggs) was delicious too. If ever in Manchester again, we will defo be returning

Lovely cafe, delicious food specially breakfast.

I had high hopes for this place after looking on their website. Never again! Excellent service but my drink came cold and tasted awful and was not the drink i ordered that you have a picture of on your offical page, ( i have had a better drink at my local starbucks) my food came slapped on the plate and didn't go together well. They need to take the salad off the plate and put the potato on a smaller plate with less beans and coleslaw on the side, not sommit that looks like prison food. I will not be bringing the girls here for a meal as planned!

Outstanding independent coffee shop. So good, we had breakfast and returned for lunch. We loved the 'all day menu' concept and enjoyed the French toast with fresh berries. Perfect...and lovely presentation. Food and drinks arrived super quick, staff were efficient and very polite. The prices were reasonable, £4 for a mocca with cream and biscuits seems great value compared to some of the soulless chain coffee shop prices.
