We love coming to The Orpington! We moved to the area this year and happened to discover this little cafe within a couple weeks of moving. We were so happy to find such a cosy and welcoming place with such delicious food. There’s a great selection on the menu and we’ve since come back to enjoy several breakfasts, lunches, coffees and dinners here! We recently visited for a Christmas meal and had their Christmas set menu. We had such a lovely evening and both the food and service were brilliant! The food and service were excellent and all of the attention to detail they put into our meal made for a really special evening. Thank you very much!

Our server was Jason who was absolutely lovely! Really made sure our visit was special. Didn’t know what to order and he gave me a great recommendation. Really lovely chap. Food was great too!

Lots of options for breakfast and lunch, including for veggies, not so much for vegans. I had the healthy breakfast which was tasty and very well presented. Really friendly staff. Food was tasty, cappuccino large and hot. Clean and comfy seating. Would definitely return if passing.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Hisar and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and the lovely scent of freshly cooked food greeted us. The staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel like part of the family. The menu offered a variety of traditional Turkish dishes, and every bite was a delightful adventure. The mixed grill was perfectly seasoned and tender, while the meze platter was a vibrant explosion of flavors – I couldn't get enough of the hummus and calamari. The attention to detail in both the food and the service really stood out. Every dish was beautifully presented, and you could tell a lot of love went into creating each plate. I highly recommend Hisar to anyone craving authentic Turkish cuisine. It’s a hidden gem that I’ll definitely be returning to soon!

A really lovely restaurant. Interesting food, lovely service, decor was pleasing to the eye. I am mystified why the place isn't packed, but maybe it's hard to get to. The set menu seemed a bit short on Ukrainian options, which was my main reason for going (not for the Greek salad). I had mushroom benderyky to start, salmon deruny with sour cream for main and apple crepe for desert. The mykulynetse beer was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed a Varenuha cherry liquer to finish. My vegetarian friend enjoyed her food and Ukrainian wine too. It was worth the treck to get there.

Delicious, and reasonably priced bakery. Definitely worth dropping in if you're hankering for a treat!

Had my 30th birthday brunch here and it was the best day, we was a party of 12 and the food was lovely. The staff was very attentive with filling up our bottomless prosecco, I also had a birthday cake slice shots and a bottle of prosecco as a present, which made the day and was very kind. Would recommend this brunch as it’s good value for money and also it’s not too noisy like some brunches with really loud music. 10/10. Thank you making our day!

Was ok, the food was nice however the atmosphere was very loud and couldn’t enjoy your food there because of the noise. Food was nice

We had an excellent lunch here! My dad gave his full English breakfast a 9.5/10, the American breakfast was great too, the maple syrup was flavourful and the pancakes were light and fluffy The cookie master waffle was a fun treat but definitely needed 4 people minimum to finish off

Had a delivery today I spent 30 pounds on two boxes of doner meat it was the driest meat I have ever tasted. I was recommended this place. Do not eat it
