We held a wake for our lovely Mum here. The staff were amazing, handled our booking in a sensitive way. On the day they really went out of their way to look after us and make sure we had everything we needed. They gave us our own area and the buffet food was amazing, all home made and reasonable cost. I am so thankful they made us feel so welcomed at what has been a very difficult time for our family. I would highly recommend them and will most definitely be returning in future for a meal.

Went here today with a friend from Orpington, which is just a short drive away Big car park so easy parking Lovely old pub with a nice relaxed vibe. Not snotty at all, a nice mixed crowd We went for lunch on Thursday and plenty of seats available Had a lovely table right in front of the open fire. Quite limited menu but I’m pretty sure everyone would have found something they liked. A few normal sisters such as fish and chips in beer batter, ham egg and chips etc but also some nice slightly different dishes. I had the sausage and mash in a large Yorkshire pudding. The gravy was so good I think it made things the best sausage and mash I’ve ever had. The sausages were very tasty and you could tell the quality. We also had desserts and there were several choices…syrup pudding, cheese cake etc For two meals, two desserts, two drinks and including voluntary service fee, it cost £60 In my opinion, for this good quality grub, it was a fair price I particularly liked that they add the 10% service charge on , in open, but ask at the table if you are happy with that. Finally and most importantly, the staff were excellent. Very friendly and welcoming.

A genuinely lovely quaint old country pub, with a open fireplace, cosy, snug places to sit & eat or drink & talk. There was ample parking in their large car park too. Despite being a very old building there was access through a door at the back, although I had to fold my wheelchair & stand using sticks to get inside. Another drawback for disabled customers is the step inside down to the dining level & toilets, so I needed help. The staff were very helpful & the service was great.

Lovely cosy pub, with excellent service and great food. Went for the whitebait, roast turkey, and Bailey's crème brûlée. The fish was great, larger than some whitebait and a nice breadcrumb. The turkey was moist with plenty of gravy, and all the trimmings (except Yorkshire puddings, boo). Then the dessert, the taste of Bailey's came through delightfully, and I loved how dark they dared to burn the sugar - also gave a lovely smell to the pub, accompanying the open fire. Choice of drinks was good, with a decent range of spirits, and three cask beers. And as mentioned before excellent, friendly service. We will return!

Horrendous Sunday Lunch Experience Pressure to order as running out of roasts. Service from bar was sarcastic and poor. Roast was what you would expect from meals on wheels to the over 70s. Sad looking peas, carrots and broccoli to accompany the rock hard roast potatoes. Chicken was okay. Suddenly all friendly when the bill came over and to add on service and expect it.

Cauliflower cheese ordered as an extra.,was a large enough portion for 2. Beef was very nice although a tad too well cooked for my liking( I prefer medium rare) but no choice given. Nice selection of veg that wasn’t overcooked. Plenty of lovely hot gravy and a decent Yorkshire. Too stuffed for pudding! Will definitely go again .

Visited with family and friends for a reunion lunch. The Bo Peep is a historic tile-hung pub that draws you in with its rustic charm. Wherever you choose to sit feels so cosy that you never want to leave. The bar staff are welcoming, attentive and genuinely care about their customers. The food has that quality homemade feel and is complimented by a well stocked bar, including a selection of fine ales. The pub looks small fromn the outside but there was plenty of space in our reserved area for our guests. It is set in a beautiful part of the Kent countryside but is only minutes from the A21/M25 junction 4. Would wholeheartedly recommend a visit and am looking forward to my next visit.

Disgustingly rude and unfriendly ‘service’ it was actually awkward to experience. Kitchen shuts at 8.30. We had a super family meal here. I would especially recommend their sole fillets with spinach and baby potatoes, beautifully cooked and dripping with butter, generous with the sole. The service was friendly, the wine was nice and the beer was good. Finally, this isn’t in Bromley - it’s in Chelsfield Village, with lovely views of fields all around. It dates from around 1580, so expect low ceilings, beams and an original inglenook fireplace. It’s super cosy.

We’d been here many years ago so whilst looking for somewhere just off the M25, the Bo Peep was suggested. Met by 2 super friendly and helpful ladies who found us a table in the corner which was needed as the 4 of us had much to discuss. Specials board was tempting but we chose Steak & Ale Pudding, Sausage & Mash in Yorkshire Pudding and Ham, Egg & Chips. Plates returned completely empty. I can’t convey how disappointed I am. I’ve wanted to try this place for some time & really expected good things. It was a let down on every level! Baked Brie was baked flat & sizzling! Fish cakes couldn’t rival Iceland's own! Haddock special took me back to the 80’s boil in a bag! Trifle - hideous- one of the worst concoctions I have ever had the displeasure to taste! Sponge & custard was ok - school dinners classic at best. Nearly £10 service charge added to the bill (handwritten)… Spend your time & money elsewhere, the Bo peep doesn’t deserve it.. my advice to them is, go & see how others are doing it better.

An old pub with a cute, inorthentic name. Pub Grub at Gourmet prices. Service OK, only just OK. The beaf is Milk Cow & stringy, full of tendons or grissol, which means it's an old milk beast, not a corn fed meat. Their prices call for better meat. On the coldest day of the year, they made no attempt to adjust the auto-door closer, which meant extreme drafts every time someond came in or out; indicative of lack of professionalism, as if amateurs "flushed with hubris," had taken over. Arrogance greater than their competency. Small improvements in best practice & it could be a Gourmet Pub.

It’s a real shame, however our experience at the Bo Peep was really poor. The staff were friendly enough but not apologetic or courteous to bring us a free drink/ snack even after waiting for over an hour for our lunch. After the food came, i was shocked to find my ploughman’s baguette as advertised with Brie and a fresh baguette was cold and stale and nothing was in the baguette just placed outside - just all laid out on a plate like it was poured out of a tin / jar. Massive pickled onions , no Brie , slabs of cheese. I complained to say is this really the state / preparation of the food after an hour? I was told it just comes like that! It was a shame as I had heard good things.

The Bo Peep is definitely worthy of nothing less than five stars. We visited for lunch and left with beams on our faces ( partially because of the low ceilings.) Everything about the place was perfect, the homey interior, to the picturesque setting, during our visit the fire had been lit creating a wonderful atmosphere. The menu was small but done well done. I chose the the fried halloumi and it did not disappoint in any way, the halloumi was so delicately fried and the salad and garnish was so well done just recalling it makes my mouth water. Our waitress was a lovely, friendly woman who made us feel so welcome and comfortable. main was the beer battered cod which was immaculate and could not be improved. I regard myself a bit of a chip connoisseur and I can honestly say that the chips here are top notch. All in all I would definitely recommend the Bo Peep to anyone anyone, a meal worth every penny.

Had my 30th birthday brunch here and it was the best day, we was a party of 12 and the food was lovely. The staff was very attentive with filling up our bottomless prosecco, I also had a birthday cake slice shots and a bottle of prosecco as a present, which made the day and was very kind.
