Outstanding food and service. Most generous portions of tasty delectables. Yes we took some home. Very pleasant atmosphere in great location. Suitable for solo dining and for families.

Came here for dinner one evening. The restaurant is nice and clean, service was good, food was very nice and the prices were reasonable. I would like to return

Birthday week, visited with family of 4 (3 adults & 1 baby in a highchair). Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Ordered a mixture of vegan and meat dishes to suit. For starters we had the Dolma, olives, bread & hummus and the Kofte meatballs. For the mains, a child's set meal with doner, a vegetable tagine, then two 2 combo mains, one with chicken wings and doner, the other with lamb sausages and lamb ribs accompaniedby haloumi fries, chips & bulgar. For me, the lamb ribs stole the show, all the food was excellent but they were the stand out. A good drinks menu provided a few cocktails also, overall a perfect place for dinner in Bromley.

No donër on a Sunday at 4.30pm, very disappointed as that’s what we came for. Decided to stay anyway. The starter, kofte meatballs, took ages to come and wasn’t hot, probably been ready and waiting for a while before the waiting staff brought it over. Lamb shish not great, no seasoning or much flavour. Şeftali was lovely. Chicken iskender was disappointing, crammed onto a plate that was too small, too much sauce and half the plate was plain yoghurt, it was just uninspiring. Iskender can be a real “wow” dish usually. Service was good, staff were really nice, we will give it another try as we really want to try the döner.

I went there to order food for takeaway. I've been into a few restaurants in the area and I think this is one of the best. The food quantity left me full and satisfied and it tasted good.

Fresh products well treated on the classical way of Mediterranean cuisine. Variety and freshness! Good attention and ideal for groups!

Awful - so inflexible to dietary requirements/restrictions. Restricted menu on weekends - won't be back.

We are regular visitors to Havet. The food was great as always but unfortunately, on this occasion I felt the service was poor. It wasn’t busy but felt like we were being rushed. We’re told at 10:30 we could not have coffee or drinks other than bottled beer. No end of service choc/drink, not that they have to do this! Did not feel like valued customers. We will be going elsewhere in future!

The food (as per usual) was unreal and the quality was fantastic. We ordered the chicken shish, chicken thigh shish, two adana koftes, plus rice and chips. The meat was cooked to perfection and very succulent -- chargrilled and full of flavour. The portion size for everything was fairly decent and they were generous with the free bread. Chilli and garlic sauce were lovely too. The prices have gone up since I visited a few months back, however, the quality of the food is still very high. Was roughly about £38 each for 3 of us, so near enough £115 in total. Great restaurant and would highly recommend!

Normally good but today was slow and rude. Had to ask for service. Then where our mains were. Then we were told it was because we hadn’t said we we going to the theatre. We had been waiting 70 mins at this point when we’re told we could only have the table for 2 hours anyway. We didn’t get the chance to have dessert: I had to ask for the bill so we didn’t miss the show. They were rude and unhelpful. It’s put me off when I’ve always like this place.

Managers Decision was unfortunate. A local to this restaurant as very pleased with the food and drinks and the entire experience. Unfortunately we have just finished our meal feeling just disappointed. Our waitress was lovely, but we had an issue with the Restaurant not being able to accept a pin for a £5 off when using my app As there were IT issues their end they told me I had to use it another time. I did say it was unfortunate and my request for 2 complimentary drinks of a couple of shots were rejected by the Manager. The £5 discount was not the issue here it was the final Managements decision to decline this has made me as a Loyal Customer not to go back. I have deleted my account with them and will go elsewhere as I do not feel a valued Customer at all.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Staff are very knowledgeable and professional and the food is out off this world. The only negative point I have is that the portions are definitely getting smaller. On the whole I couldn't recommend this buzzy restaurant enough. My go to Turkish.

Disappointing visit! Ordered doner but was told (after ordering) that it wasn’t available. Waited a while for any food to come out only to be told the order wasn’t put through…was told 20% will be taken off the final bill as an apology but this wasn’t done either?! Poor service when the restaurant was quiet. Food was nice, but service really let it down

Just reading the comments it's clearly a place that polarises. We liked the ambiance just after 4pm as it was quiet, the music down low. Others prefer it noisy, and with the lack of soft furnishing it really rattles when busy. Havet has a clean austere vibe, and its especial strength is the quality of the food. Of course it is very well presented too, with generous portions on the a la carte menu anyway. We had lamb cutlets and shish with coban and green salads, and amazing sweet potatoes. Dont go for the chunky chips, the waitress advised and she was so right. A main with two sides each and drinks came to less than £60 - great value as these portions were generous.

Got my food via Uber Eats.. absolutely amazing. Stunningly delicious food, cooked and prepared to perfection. Had the patlican Soslu as a starter, which I highly recommend! And kleftico (lamb shank) as my main with rice-which was amazing! Uber eats can be a bit hit and miss, but I’ve found a true gem in this place. Amazing food. Highly recommend

24-May-22: Visited for dinner with fiends on a Tuesday night. It's always busy, buzzy, and noisy (chatter and the birthday song!) and this was no exception. Lots of families with kids. Food was great, as always, and service was with a smile. Cocktails are weak and wine options are low end, but it does the job for a girls night out on a budget.

Very inflexible for dietary requirements! Will not allow swaps on their menus eg. bulgar wheat instead of rice - not a huge ask, but apparently not allowed!

Title says much of what is needed. The food is great, the restaurant smart and clean; and the staff friendly, helpful and attentive without intruding. 3 adults and a child ate every scrap of their food, portion sizes of the excellently cooked sides, mains and desserts perfect. Good value. Pleased they sell Pepsi, not Coke, disappointed that it’s from syrup not bottled restaurants need to understand unless they get the dilution exact it’s always inferior and not worth the risk of buying.

We had been here many years ago (probably 2014) and it was decent then. This time though, wow! Great food, ambience etc. but the service was exemplary. Thank you again, Ivan. We shall be back soon!

We’ve been to Havet many times but this time we were very disappointed. We were taken to our table but after waiting 20 mins we called the waiter over to order our drinks and food. Before the food arrived we ordered appetisers of carrots and cucumber but it arrived with no dip. Again we had to ask for the dip. When the food arrived all the rices were lukewarm and the food was not up to its usual standard. My son asked for ketchup and again we had to ask a second time. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. Definitely won’t be returning

As a family we all really enjoy our visits to restaurant. For one it’s the kind of food that very difficult to replicate well home, which is a big reason for us to visit. Also the staff a very friendly and humorous and with good knowledge of the foods available and how best to put your meal together to suit all ages and tastes. Me and my Mum visited for the first time today before we went to see Venom at the cinema.We had the sharing platter and all of the food was amazing! We were so stuffed and took the rest home for dinner. But what really made it a truly wonderful experience was Ivan! He was so attentive, humorous and couldn't do enough for us or any of his tables. And this was at peak time on a very busy Saturday! He's an absolute credit to the restaurant. We can't wait to visit again in the future!

My friend and I have been coming to Havet for about a month.the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Ivan in particular is attentive and good humoured whenever we go. There is a good selection of food on the menu. We really like the grilled food and the salads, but all the dishes on the menu are good. We like the friendly atmosphere and will continue to eat and drink at Havet.

I never managed to get through to them on the phone even once. They don’t seem to like takeaway orders.

Had a fantastic birthday celebration, first time in the restaurant. It has a great vibe, background music, everyone is friendly and attentive without being invasive or ignored. Today I met 3 ex colleagues/ friends whom I haven't seen since before the pandemic .We enjoyed a delicious lunch with ample portions at( understandably) higher prices but we didn't mind as we chatted for over 3 hours. The staff were helpful, professional and courteous; thank you all for giving us a great time.

worst turkish restaurant ever , You can't compare it to any other turkish restaurants any where else They serve food with not even a lettuce or piece of lemon and them prices are very hight The service was cold and poor as well and I believe its not a turkish restaurant they just pretending to attract customers. In the end I advice anyone to dont go there and waste them money for a greedy poor food.

The chefs in this place are let down massively by the front house staff. They NEVER pick up the phone for take away orders, so you can never order in advance and pick things up. The app that they have is poorly designed and doesn’t have the basic menu items like Turkish pizza. I have mentioned this to front staff many times but they just don’t care. It’s visible that they don’t care about customer experience. I have stopped going there although I really liked the food. There are plenty of other Turkish restaurants in the area with serving staff that knows how to provide service.

Just like everywhere else due to the pandemic the price of eating out has increased. I do feel however that prices at Havet (and other Turkish restaurants) have gone up disproportionately compared to say going out for a curry. They used to be the best value for money meals out you could get.Having said all that the food was excellent. 3 of us ate out and had different main courses and all had different side dishes. Couldn't fault any of the dishes. I particularly recommend the chicken thigh shish and also the sweet potato fries. The Turkish white wine was also excellent.Lots of staff there but a minor criticism would be they could be a little more attentive. We'd quite clearly finished our main courses and quite a few staff walked past us without clearing our table.It's quite a noisy restaurant if that's something that would bother you but I will be going back.

I had the best Turkish cuisine experience, i am so happy with the quality of the food and the service. I had the mixed adana iskender which was recommended by our waiter, the mixed adana iskender was very delicious and the portion was large. I will definitely be visiting again! And i would like to thank the members of staff, specially Bert for explaining the menu clearly and recommending from the menu and serving us. And big thanks to george for being a gentleman and providing a good service as well.

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation from the best places to eat in Bromley website. The restaurant looked inviting it had a good rating of hygiene so it looking promising. We made our order the food was a disappointment to say the least. For example the monkfish I ordered came on a skewer it was mostly onion and peppers. Three pieces of monkfish for the price £19.85 . I felt cheated to pay that much for so little. We also had chicken wings and at £10.45 for some wings and lettuce was v overpriced too. I appreciate that restaurant’s are fighting for survival and many have not survived. Due to what the world have endured over the last two years. I can’t complain about the service nor the ambiance. The price of the dishes are not worth what you receive. We left feeling hungry!

Visited Havet Bromley today for the first time since they reopened after the lockdown and we were very disappointed. The portions of the food have got a lot smaller, you no longer get any salad with your dish. We paid 23 pounds for a 4 pieces of chicken shish, skewer of lamb and small side of chips. I wouldn't mind paying for it but I don't think the quality is worth it and the service is always hit and miss (especially when the restaurant it busy with large groups). One positive about the dining experience was that the tables had clear screens between them making it Covid safe.

We had a great evening at Havet. We were made very welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant. The place was full with a great atmosphere. We ordered a selection from the menu and everything arrived promptly, hot and was full of flavour. All the meats were freshly cooked and very succulent. Thank you for a lovely family meal.

This is £42 pounds worth of food, without the delivery charge. How am I meant to feed three grown men with this paltry quantity? Hate being ripped off, especially during lockdown. Very unhappy customer.

Delivery scheduled for 6-630pm. Valentine’s Day special. After waiting over an hour for pre-ordered delivery, order was cancelled with absolutely no explanation. Appalling service! Do not rely on their delivery - recognise this is third party but unacceptable.

All staff are lovely and friendly. The food and drinks are of high quality and delicious. It is affordable in my opinion, to give an idea for pricing for me and my partner it came to £50, this includes one starter, two mains with sides each and four drinks (two of which were cocktails).

We visited Havet today and ordered a 3 course meal and the service was slow!We waited over an hour for our starters and then over an hour between the other courses. They also were slow cleaning the tables between course. The whole meal took over 4 hours... 5 out of 5 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED during Tier 2

Visited as I normally do with friends and this was first time since Covid. Felt very safe as they had screen between tables. Food was lovely cooked to perfection.

I’m sure the food is lovely but it didn’t arrive. Not the restaurant’s fault - apart from they choose to use a third party delivery option which means this is going to happen. Probably quite a lot I’d imagine. Phone the restaurant and there’s ‘nothing they can do’. £50 order. Customer service in the year 2020 :((

we ordered Iskender with lamb doner, and the bread under it was really soggy, and the tomato sauce they put on the iskender was gross and it had really disgusting smell, won`t be coming here again.

Havet is really serving good quality meat and staff is friendly. We have been here 3 times and food was always good and the only 2 negative thing I can say it looks like staff does not have sections so sometimes you may have 3 different waiters coming to take your orders in the same 5 minutes and as a suggestion as it is a Turkish place and Turkey is famous with its hospitality they can offer a small starter for free while you waiting for your food maybe piece of warm pita and a small tzatziki to dip. But i have to mention that was the best adana & chicken shish we had for a long time. Desserts are not great and they need better original raki glasses

Fui a almorzar hoy, absolutamente de primera clase. Compartimos dos platos del menú, un kebab de cordero shashlik y un plato de pollo picante, ambos excelentes. Visité Havat para una comida de celebración con amigos. El personal no fue particularmente amable y pasamos mucho tiempo esperando que nos atendieran. El personal tenía máscaras, pero la mayoría del tiempo estaban en la barbilla, lo que no es muy bueno. La comida siempre es increíble aquí, solíamos ir mucho antes de COVID. Comí aquí la semana pasada el lunes por 1 vez en la calle en meses. Fuimos a primera hora de la tarde porque no queríamos que estuviera demasiado lleno. Estaba realmente sorprendido de lo lleno que estaba. First meal eating out following lock down.Was anxious but wanted some sort of normalcy and so had heard of the plastic shields / barriers being put into place.These clear plastic shields make the atmosphere very slightly different~ but do make it feel a little safer. To be honest,I'd be happy to keep the shieldsforever and make then frosted, so I don't have to see other people eatineating. My antisocial self liked my little cubicle :) Staff: great! Helpful, accommodating and although very busy seemed to get to everybody within a reasonable time and seemed quite happy.Food: Delicious ~ as good as I'd remembered! I'd gone with some family and we'd missed it. We went around midday and managed to eat and leave just as it started to get super busy.Food, lamb doner, lamb shish, chicken shish, spicy rice, chunky chips and sarma salad.Thanks for a deelicous lunch!

We visited here recently during the heatwave but it was WAY too hot! Just insane. We ordered and took a large amount to take away as was simply too hot in the restaurant. We were wiping ourselves constantly with the napkin from the table. The tables around us were also the same.I also asked the waiter that delivered our food for garlic sauce but none arrived. We waited around 10 minutes until we saw someone else.I feel that whilst lots of restaurants have done well during this time Havet is struggling. Certainly won’t be back for a couple of months.Certainly avoid in the heat.

It was way too hot in there. Asked if the air con was on and the waiter told us they couldn’t due to COVID. I knew this was mentioned way back when the restaurants and bars first opened but every place id been to had the air con on during the heatwave / hot weather. It was unbearably hot inside and way too noisy too. Food was okay I guess but it isn’t my type of food. Only went because I didn’t choose it. I’ll probably go back but not till winter when the heat has died down. Air con is on in shops but why not here? Especially as it’s 30 degrees plus outside. Not really impressed.
