Having read the glowing reviews I went with high expectations but came away deflated and disappointed. Rather than finding an array of different quality breads for sale I found 1 type of loaf for sale with the choice of âtake it or leave itâ. I asked if sourdough bread was available and was told by the unapologetic and matter-of-fact âassistantâ that there wasnât. Did they have any croissants? Yes, on Fridays! Finally, by way of explanation: âthe baker is on holidayâ! You couldnât make it up.

Great husband and wife combo run this place. Good food, coffee and other drinks. Can recommend the full breakfast and the veggie option. Service is always friendly and accommodating and good but not too loud music thrown in as well.

Great homemade food, with quality ingredients from nearby award winning butcher. Both breakfasts and lunches are very reasonably priced. Whenever I have been staff have been consistently welcoming and attentive.

I often go to the Temptations cafe. I like the community feeling there, how everyone says hello to each other and how kind the owners are towards the clientele. They also have an excellent Portuguese menu which I am exploring every time I visit them. So far the "bacalhau a bras" (cod with chips and eggs) is my favourite and I highly recomend it. They also have pasta, international, English dishes, wines and an extensive menu of juices. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous.

Berwick on Tweed A Lovely little town with a complete Elizabethan town wall and cannonades worth a visit for that alone. It's the only one on the country There is the first purpose built town barack's which was still used until recently Well worth a stop off for a stretch of legs and for the views from the ramparts. Banburgh Castle We visited this attraction as part of a coach trip and was not a long stop to visit rather to have a walk and a photo opportunity. A stop at Banburgh castle is essential if you are in Northumbria as It's very imposing and of course used for many films. We did not visit the castle itself but walked around the village and got photos of the castle. It's essentially a Victorian rebuild in the main but nonetheless imposing. The car park is conveniently located at the bottom of the hill and has a lovely ice cream van there which we of course indulged in!!

my girlfriend and i ordered ruskie pierogi. they were absolutely delicious, freshly prepared in front of us, not to mention the sauce was fantastic! as polish people, this really reminded us of home. the service was good. the staff were quite busy, but were still quite quick to take our order, even spoke to us in polish which was nice. the view was alright looking over the other markets, however, there werenât many seatings and one of the chairs was broken, but that is the public seating area and, in my opinion, it is not the responsibility of the workers to fix that chair. definitely coming back for more!!

The presentation and cooking of the food was very good. The reception and table service were both excellent. It was good value for money. Weâd thoroughly recommend this to anyone who would like to have an enjoyable dining experience in Bristol.

Called here on a ride with friends, great hospitality, great food and drink, really accommodating as we descended, unannounced on our ride from London to Cambridge. Thanks!

Top đ service this morning from the guys at La Ciclista. Puncture on the commute to work at 8am and with no pump and cycle shops open the team at La Ciclista not only provided a pump but even repaired the puncture (along with some helpful biking advise). That was all before the Flat (!) White which was much needed. Staff couldnât have been any more helpful or better. Brilliant

We went there during their opening month in November 2014. It was busy. There were 20 of us and the staff struggled to cope with our orders. Some food was excellent some poor and some never arrived. I had hoped that things would improve but the restaurant is now closed

I was looking forward to Gravadlax and Swedish meatballs The Gravadlax has nothing to do with what you get in sweden - it was cut razor thin too salty served with No dill and did not have much flavour. the mustard sauce was also very disappointing lackijng the Swedish sweet mustard flavour. Meatballs were below average the creamy sauce was watery and the mash potatoes tasted of nothing . we did not have dessert. I will not return to this place - service was friendly and good. The price is reasonable .

While wandering the area, my wife and I decided to stop in for some refreshment. The staff was very friendly and we had pastries and coffee here. Everything was delicious and the people there, customers and staff alike, tried their hardest to make us feel welcome. Prices are good too. The owner even sent us out with a couple of extra free pastries, which were delicious too. Highly recommended

I have managed to try most of their fabulous products. Everything is fresh, tasty & great value. Steak pasty is superb. Chicken gyros on a Wednesday is a treat. Sandwiches & rolls are packed with fresh fillings. Great service & highly recommended.
