I have been going to Kamrans for years now. They are always very welcoming and give exceptional service. Food is always top tier along with more than reasonable prices.

Lovely place very busy for Sunday lunches and this meant the kitchen were under pressure as our meal took to long to arrive and lacked flavour and meat over cooked, otherwise this would have been a 5☆ rating

Were able to alter ingredients on the dish to meet my dietary requirements, which not every restaurant is willing to. Food was delicious, lovely presentation, really friendly stuff and just a very pleasant atmosphere.

We had a lovely curry I had chicken madras other half had chicken korma. Thoroughly enjoyed it. a great chat with the owner and had a good old reminiscences about old Indian restaurants in notts .poppadoms with Terry and bash great lads. Hymalaya and koh i noor think spelt that wrong. Will be back when go back nottingham visit .was about 6 months ago when we last went

Highly recommend The Honest Lawyer for casual beers, food & and entertaining weekend vibes. Always greeted well here. Positive atmosphere, great choice of quality drinks available. On top of that the food served is top notch. Highly recommended

Popped into Mevali for lunch on a whim. Greeted like old friends, and quick service. Halloumi Salad, Houmous, and Cakak. Fresh, tasty and a served with an authentic Efe Beer brewed in Turkey. The accompanying flat bread was hot and tasty. All this for £23. Very impressed. Well recommended!!

Such a lovely find! Service was amazing and everyone was really friendly, portions were massive and served hot, and tasted so good! Really well priced considering the standard of the food, and the venue itself is beautiful ❤️

We booked The Harrow Inn for my Dad’s wake, and we couldn’t have wished for a lovelier place to celebrate our Dad’s life. The function room is beautiful and spacious, with places to hang photos if needed, lovely fairy lights hanging from the wooden beams, which is so pretty and perfect for any occasion. From start to finish, the service was excellent. Alison and Dave are wonderful, hardworking and impeccable hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. We wanted a specific menu in honour of our Dad, which Alison was more than happy to accommodate. The food was abundant, with vegetarian, vegans and coeliacs catered for, no one went hungry and the food was enjoyed by all. It was outstanding. So lovely to have the stress of the day taken away, and we were free to chat to family and friends without having to worry about our guests having enough to eat and drink. I would highly recommend booking your function here or just popping in to have a drink and a chat with the lovely staff. A homely, dog friendly pub in the beautiful village of Knockholt. Thank you again to Alison and Dave. We will definitely be back to see you soon.

Group of 9 of us for Sunday lunch. Everyone’s meals were lovely - love the side veg! There was a bit of a mix up initially with the order but the owner and staff were incredibly professional and gave us a free bottle of Prosecco on the house! Great local independent pub - our favourite!

Un amigo mío reservó una mesa para una cena previa al partido (RM vs Ars) anoche. Tuve la mini parmigiana melanzane como entrada que se preparó maravillosamente con la berenjena suave y untuosa con una salsa de tomate muy bien saborizada y un montón de mozzarella derretida. Para el plato principal tuve tagliatelle carbonara. Ahora antes de decir nada más debo decir que tengo excelentes credenciales cuando se trata de carbonara. Mi padre vivió en Italia más de 55 años y se casó con una italiana cuya única característica redentora era que podía hacer una carbonara mezquina. En muchas ocasiones, los restaurantes italianos en el Reino Unido se sienten obligados a agregar crema al plato cuando no se requiere absolutamente nada, y la mayoría de las veces usan jamón en lugar de buena panceta. La carbonara que comí anoche en Lisa’s fue con mucho la mejor carbonara que he probado en el Reino Unido; la panceta era auténtica, la consistencia de la salsa era sublime y la pasta no estaba demasiado cocida. Carbonara se sirve principalmente como plato de espagueti, pero el tagliatelle fresco era una alternativa distintiva y deliciosa. Lisa voló las puertas con una cena inesperadamente fabulosa justo antes de que el Arsenal venciera al Real Madrid.

I wanted to try their lamb doner but with big disappointment I couldn’t eat. It was very greasy and tasteless other than grease. For the price they ask, i at least expected something edible. We also ordered chicken shish, which was also average. The waiter was friendly and asked why we didn’t eat it.
