Excellent food and great customer service. Our tables were cleared promptly after each course and any requests were addressed swiftly.

Good value for money! The pizza was too spicy for us! The meat is very well seasoned and cooked well! Very warm welcome with fast service!

The staff is nice but not all. Everything is not like the photos published on Facebook. We had two Döner and nothing more…

Very warm welcome and excellent dinner. The quantity in the children's menu was the equivalent of the adult menu in France.

Everything looked so good in the photos that we decided to give it a try. The lamb meat from my dish was previously grilled and reheated just before serving. It was dry, tasteless and hard. It came with a side of the cheapest white rice, which was equally bland and flavourless. The food was ridiculously overpriced for such terrible quality.

Tables too close to eachother. Dishes removed as you lifted the last piece from the plate. Main arrived before starter finished. Overpriced. Food tasted good. Hilarious pics on the wall of owner with 'famous' people. A pic of him with Theresa May's husband was deemed worthy of an ornate frame LOL. Pic of him with Boris Johnson looked like he photobombed it.

Food is very quality.but not less it cost roughly the other restaurant price.but always busy customers like this place.they have the food everyone after.

Excellent food. Very good service. Strongly recommend chicken donner wrap. The atmosphere was very good with Turkish music, comfortable chairs and beautiful wall decorations. The glass for the Turkish tea was very authentic.

Would give it a minus for service if possible. Staff were rude, unwelcoming and clearly not suited to work in hospitality. A waiter who barely spoke English had the audacity to complain about the locals (Bangladeshi community) stating how they do not spend enough on mains and how they purposely discriminate against them by not offering complimentary services so they buy more. Honestly have never felt so angry, disgusted and disappointed at a restaurant. Food is bog standard, please avoid at all cost. I recommend travelling to Haringey for amazing and authentic turkish cuisine, which is fairly priced. Any asian, muslim or ethnic people thinking of going here please DON'T.

Amazing food terrible service. For context, me (pregnant), my husband (type 1), a sleeping baby in a pushchair, and a 4 year old walk-in. Visibly very exhausted - we've travelled about 1.5 hours by train and needed food. The waiter saw this and took advantage of the situation because tell me WHY we were not offered the lunch menu? A lunch menu that offered a starter, main and dessert, which was £15 - substantially less than the regular menu. When questioned why we weren't offered the lunch menu, I was given the half arsed answer of "we ran out of lunch time menus - due to a big party of 5." No apology, no nothing. Not until my husband questioned it at the time of paying the bill, and they took off the service charge and drinks. Still ended up paying near £100. AVOID unless you're a regular or local.

Mouthwatering food, fresh ingredients, amazing flavors, eclipsed only by unbelievable service. If you want to feel like royalty, stop in for a meal or drink, everything we tried was wonderful. As a couple with a baby, to be met with such graciously attentive service at every turn we were absolutely spoiled at every turn. Efes puts other establishments to shame and sets the highest bar! Love, love, love! 🖤

I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS RESTAURANT, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I was just so shocked by the humiliation I went through today. As a customer I felt utterly miserable and inferior. Today me and my friends decided to dine in for Iftar and as soon as we came in and sat down we waited 8 minutes and there was still no one to take our order, even after 15 minutes we had to call them up and ask them to take our order. We clearly told them what we wanted however they served the food in the wrong order which made us confused. We had to wait around 40 minutes for our food and it was getting pretty late. They completely forgot to give us the appetizer course and skipped to the main course as if they wanted us out of here as soon as possible. When we tried to ask them for our appetiser it took them another 15-20 minutes to discuss about what to do with us, they were clearly avoiding our table. The tone they used to speak to us was very offensive, they should be enthusiastic not rude. When they gave use the appetiser at the end we were clearly full, yet we tried to eat as much as possible to show manners. However, one of the workers were like "you didn't even eat it so why make us go through the trouble" when we clearly did and it was what we paid for, they don't have to tell us what to do. This isn't even the main reason why I feel so miserable, I just asked for some water okay? WATER a simple request, but the waiter had the audacity to say "no" with a straight face and rude tone infront of another table full of customers, I felt very humiliated and wanted to disappear. Lastly while we were about to leave, my friend accidentally knocked over a plastic menu frame and she picked it up cautiously and put it back on it's place, however one of the workers told her "Yeah break it break it" like hello is he okay? From where did this restaurant pick it's workers from, cuz that's just inhumane behaviour in my opinion. They even wanted us to pay for customer service, like hell I'd do that. Also they can't speak english well, they got mad beacuse we couldn't understand them. IN CONCLUSION, I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS RESTAURANT, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

The food is incredibly freshly made. The service is exceptional friendly and the dishes are phenomenal. 5 stars!

The most delicious lahmacun in London 🤩 (Almost everything is very authentic and delicious).

Food was average but grumpy waiter made it a really poor experience. Later his colleague came around our table who was far more polite and attentive. Won’t go back though !

Came here very last minute for iftaar and the wait was only 25 minutes which is actually amazing considering most wait times at iftaar hours are 1hr+ long! Provided us with dates to break our fast as we wait, lovely customers prioritised our seating first as we hadn’t eaten all day. One staff member was running front of house and seating people - didn’t get his name but this gentleman needs a pay raise! He was so patient and so kind despite the very long busy queue, running around the entire restaurant to ensure all customers are happy. Food was given to us very fast, portion size was big (ate half and took the rest home) and the food was good too. Will definitely be returning here.

The foods are authentic and environmentally friendly,I was disappointed with the service as we started at 6pm and the waitress took my Turkish tea away without asking, came twice asking when we were going to finish when the foods were not done after 40 minutes.

Ordered a mixed lamb and chicken donner. It was average. Portion size was not that great for the price. Cramped seating area. To get out of my seat, customer at another table needed to get up and move. Ordered kunafe too...it was burnt...but just about edible. I was in a business meeting so didn't complain. I visited here 5 years ago and didn't have a great experience then either...based on my original review...I'll give it another 10 years before trying again...

such a rip of i orded a large donenr and rice it came in a small sliver take away box for 16 quid cold and dry also order a mix grill which was even smaller day light robbery it was dry

Absolutely fantastic food. We share the chicken pita and chicken kebab and both were amazing. But the sneaky big winner was the homemade lemonade. If you like lemonade, get it!

Visited with some friends to catch up. Food was tasty however I was disappointed with the portion sizes and costs (the later has gone up and former has decreased) which is probably just the state of cost of living. Nevertheless it was a nice atmosphere and the staff gave us free tea after although I thought he said cake and was disappointed as I couldn’t drink the tea due to being pregnant. Would think hard about coming back as I know some really decent well priced Turkish restaurants in London and this one was mediocre in comparison.

While the food was super excellent, unfortunately, I found the music selection to be not to my liking, and one of the waiters responded in an unpleasant manner when I asked for a napkin.

Everything was very nice, but there are tables with some spoon placement. Also, I expected the Ataturk painting to be at the entrance.

Great shish cooked over hot coals, with fabulous service all round especially from the head waiter. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

We arrived late in the evening and were shown to our table. Food was exactly as expected - not spectacular but certainly very tasty. A worthwhile spot to refuel - and the pint was not too bad either!! :)

This was by far one of the best meals we had while in London. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, warm, welcoming, and clean, and the staff are helpful and friendly. The food was served hot, fresh and flavorful.

Food was very good. We had an iskander and a falalel wrap. We did enjoy it, but the service was very poor and unfriendly. Non smiling staff, not very polite (threw my credit card back on the platter for instance), seem bored or annoyed everytime you would say or ask something. This kinda ruined the food experience, but if you want great taste and great food this is a nice place !

We were there for dinner with my old friend. Food and service was great. However, after the food came on the table there was missing one portion of lahmacun and we did ask to the waiter and then he asked to cashier man was there and he said(pişmeden mi vereyim) its means; “do you want me to give you cook less ?”. That’s took all the main taste of food and company.

Ce n’est pas le tout d’avoir de belles cartes de menu et de beaux tabliers ! Il faut que la cuisine suive et c’est loin d’être le cas!!!!!! Rien n’est bon, rien n’est frais. Les cocktails sont faits à base de sirop, aucun fruit!! Je ne conseille pas du tout!

While visiting London I popped into Efes for a take away. The place had a lovely atmosphere, I placed my order with the staff who were really polite and helpful. I was given a cup.of Turkish tea while I waited. My food arrived quickly and when I got back I was delighted to find the food was delicious the salad was very fresh. I would certainly recommend and shall visit again next time I am in London.

Called up restaurant to ensure its open. Reached on time but was told they are closed. The staff was rude and did not want to help at all. They accepted they closed earlier than usual and the calll attendant didnt know about it. Having taken cab of £12 to come especially to this restaurant. I would not recommend the place

They didn’t have a lot of things for example pide, lahmacun etc. The waiters were unfriendly and the food was not good. Everything was very dry and the sauces extra were really expensive, my soup was also not good, without salt pepper or anything else. Just like water without any spices. I am from Germany and this was nothing in compare.

This food is better than most of the restaurants I visited in Istanbul. It was truly delicious and authentic Turkish food. Not only do they serve the kebabs and rice, they also provide bread on the side with delicious sauces. Everything I had on my plate was delicious. The service, however, was quite stunted when I visited. They had too many tables to take care of.

Wpadliśmy do tureckiej restauracji, gdyż szukaliśmy dobrego, craftowego mięsa; a widzieliśmy z ulicy, że mięso wygląda dość atrakcyjnie. Co trzeba przyznać na plus, na pewno miła obsługa, bardzo dobre pieczywo wypiekane na miejscu i to, że nie trzeba długo czekać za jedzeniem. Samo mięso, średnie, nie było ani wybitnie dobre, ani bardzo złe. Niemniej, na pewno była to baranina, więc za to plus, że nie robili domieszek innych mięs(lub po prostu ich nie wyczuliśmy). Bardzo przeciętne sałatki, zdecydowanie nie polecamy ich dobierać do potraw. Ceny jak na jakość jedzenia raczej wysokie, na pewno w okolicy można zjeść lepiej za mniejsze pieniądze. Jednak jeżeli akurat macie ochotę na turecką kuchnię, od biedy można wybrać to miejsce.

Best turkish place I tried so far. I was pleasantly surprised they had my fav dessert (knaffee). What’s really nice here is the consistency : same great services, same great taste all the time.

Everything about EFES is perfect. The staff are amazing and extremely attentive. The food is absolutely delicious. They always look after us every visit.

Went here for lunch. Had the Ali Nazik. Quality of the meat was good, meat is supposed to be served on a yogurt and smoked aubergine sauce but it was only on an aubergine pure with a dollop of yogurt on top. It was nice but different from Ali Nazik and definitely not smoky. Portion was very small considering the price.

The most authentic Turkish food I have had since my honeymoon in Istanbul. The Iskender Kebab was perfection. I have now bought my wife down to London so I can bring her here. Its THAT GOOD!
