I don’t usually review food but feel like I didn’t get my moneys worth. I ordered 2 x large hoagie wraps and they were perfect, two boys are stuffed and happy however I ordered a chicken kebab and the chicken was so thin I actually had mistaken it for Donner meat. It was lukewarm when it came which put me off as chicken has to be heated to at least 75-95 degrees to be safe to eat. Not sure if it was a busy day in kitchen or I just got the end of the kebab so it was thin but don’t think it’s fair to spend nearly 30 pounds on an order and my food isn’t hot enough and it’s barely chunks of chicken Requested a refund for the tikka.

Had a lovely evening walk into town and grabbed some chippies to have on the bench with our dog! Chips were fresh, fat and full of flavour... just like our dog haha! These are the first chip shop chips that I've been able to eat in years and not felt ill or felt a vile aftertaste in my mouth. Thank you so much for doing fabulous chippies, it was such a lovely treat for me (And the dog - your new mascot) Highly recommended Staff were lovely too

One of the best birthday lunches I’ve had! The food is delicious and beautifully presented! The menu is reassuringly small, but there is something for everyone! As a coeliac it was great to know everything on the menu is gluten free so no concerns about mistakes or cross contamination! The team in both the restaurant and the bar, where they serve the best cocktails, are welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere is delightfully informal, but at the same time feels very special. We will definitely be returning and I look forward to trying the treacle tart which was sadly not available this time.

I have lived near Perranporth (GOONHAVERN) all my life and I adore the wateringhole but £7.50 for a pint of rattler is ATROCIOUS, considering Healey's is legitimately less than 3 miles away. Gylly beach cafe charges £5 for a pint of Rattler and they're nearly 10 miles away, It's sad. Get on Pard card cause you're killing the local business off, it's a shame because I've got very vivid memories of getting hot chocolate for cheap and seeing plenty of people I knew but now it's different. I understand times change and people move and catering to different people but in this economy it'd be nice if you looked after us locals a bit more.

I had the misfortune to have a so called meal at Tides, 5.30pm. After a long wait in sweltering heat the ciabatta garlic bread arrived which was good. Then after a long wait in sweltering heat the chicken gougons arrived and they looked awful long strips of chicken encased in impenetrable coating as hard as the road with the garlic fries rock hard!! I can’t believe how bad this was as I have eaten here before. Awful , DO NOT EXPECT ME AGAIN! I didn’t want to complain at the time as it was a meal to entertain some Australian visitors. I should have! My husbands meal wasn’t much better it was supposed to be Thermidor but tasted far from it! I would like to speak to the manager!
