Nice place with delicious food.i will go again and again

I had a really disappointing experience at Nando’s recently. The lady who was front of house greeted me and my family with what felt like attitude and no enthusiasm at all — like she clearly didn’t want to be there. She gave us a dirty table, didn’t seem to care when we pointed it out, and was generally rude throughout. It really affected our experience and made us feel uncomfortable. Customer service should be welcoming, especially for families coming in to enjoy a meal. Definitely not the standard I’d expect from Nando’s.

Seated super fast . Rafael was amazing and attentive, super cheerful and overall made the experience lovely. Food was great as usual . Overall good experience

I’m writing to express my disappointment with the service during my recent visit. We are Nandos regular customers, today we arrived at 6 PM and placed our order at 6:19 PM. Despite this, our food didn’t arrive until 6:55 PM. Considering we were fasting, the long wait was particularly frustrating. After 30 minutes, we asked a team member about the delay. He checked and said online orders were causing longer wait times. However, we noticed a table that arrived 20 minutes after us was served before we were, making it clear something was wrong. When we raised our concerns with another suporvisor, her first words were, “I’m not trying to argue with you guys,”which was both unprofessional and dismissive. She later apologized and said she would check on the food. We then requested to speak with the manager, who simply stated it was a busy time, particularly with many fasting customers—failing to acknowledge that we were fasting too. Our food eventually arrived, but no one came to check if everything was okay. The lack of care and poor management was extremely disappointing. As loyal customers, we were let down by the subpar service and lack of accountability. Sadly, you’ve lost regular customers due to this experience. I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve your service standards.

I went ro eat here with a friend on 14th of February and when we arrived it was late and we were told the kitchen was closing, however a lovely member of staff called Hetanshu told us what was still available for order and found us a nice table. He provided great customer service and was very friendly and helpful.

Rafael gave us a great experience. We are from Spain and he talked to us in spanish and made us laugh all the time!! I would go back, no doubt!

Rafael was a lovely server very attentive and lovely. Broccoli wasn’t nice. Busy atmosphere but not too loud and food came quickly.

I’ve never been to the Westfield Stratford branch before as it’s not in my way … got there today at 11:20am there was a queue of people outside - this particular branch opens at 11:30 so waiting outside 10mins was not bad. People were being seated some to the left some to the right…. The waitress brang us to the right hand where I was not happy and said can we have a booth pointing to where there were other people, she shook her head and said “NO” this section is closed! I said how can these people are allowed to sit there and we are not allowed ? She just brushed us over to the left hand side and said sit here. I was not happy to hear her say that the session was closed and clearly people are sitting there who arrived 5 mins before us. Anyways I said to my Neice … sorry for making things awkward on her birthday ! But this is unfair and she as a young child even felt she were being rude and just bunched us all together in the corner. I went to the till about 11:50 am just about to place my order then I see another group of people sit in the booth that was supposed to be closed. I went straight over to the waitress and said “ hello why is it not closed for these people” she just ignored me so I went over to another member of staff- I asked another lady nicely why is that? She just replied that’s the policy - that section is only open at 12:00 and orders can only take place at 12:00 so cos I came in around 11:35am I have to sit on either side left or right. I said look im just a customer how do I know if that’s the policy when your member of staff should have stated that I can sit in the booth and order from 12:00 ?? Anyways lack of English - lack of communication- what a waste of talking. She then felt sorry for me as I was persistent that this is unacceptable and I kept saying that I am a customer - it is her duty to Inform me of their policy - how am I supposed to know ? She then looked at the time and said it’s past 12:00 do I Wana move tables ??? What was the whole point ??? Anyways it took 30 mins for the food to come out and I was nervous that they were gonna tamper with my food so I just stood next to the kitchen like a hawk watching who is hoovering over my food !! Once the food came out we ate it. About 20 mins into our food the original waitress came over and took our table marker and asked us everything alright? Like it was forced to be asked. To be honest I couldn’t be bothered to answer her I just knodded my head so she could quickly move from my table ! Cos if she breathed heavily over our table that would have upset me and ruin my afternoon !!!! It is what it is- what a horrible experience!!!! I will not return. From all my reviews this is the first 1star I’ve given to a place I’ve gone !!! What a disappointment… reading from the reviews !!! Whoever this Rafael guy is should have served me instead of the lady !!!!

I came today, I had to wait quiet long at the desk since there was no one to host, even after 4 of the staff members saw us and even stood behind the desk they were talking to the delivery guys rather than ask if we are waiting to be seated. I work myself in the hospitality and this is very rude that so many staff members were standing infront of us meanwhile we are waiting and they didn't bother to ask and kept into chit chatting with their colleagues

the food was amazing as well as rafaels excellent service. he was very friendly and helpful. He always had a smile on his face greeting us and making sure we had had a very good time.

I just wanted to show my appreciation for Rafael he made sure we was happy the whole time even brought tissues and sauces for us and even filled our drink up for us, i’ve been to multiple nandos’ but never seen the service Rafael gave u

This place is discriminatory against disabled people and asked my friend with a guide dog to leave multiple times. It wasn't until exact legislation was quoted that they backed down. AVOID!

Amazing food, very friendly staff. And I can't leave without mentioning Rafael's excellent service. Un beso Rafael!

Nando's here is just as good as any. Best atmosphere here, always buzzing. Westfield Stratford wouldn't be the same without it.

Haven't been to Nandos in years and glad it's changed for the better in terms of food. However it's a lot of work getting up and ordering reading off a list on your phone narrating your whole order all at once. Also noticed no one "actually on the floor" Good value and good with allergies!

⭐ 1/5 Had a terrible experience at this Nando’s on January 30. We were dining with our 6-month-old baby, and the service was awful. All the food was served cold, the chicken was overcooked and dry, and the garlic bread side was completely burnt. We wanted to speak to the manager about our experience, but no one was available. Given Nando’s usual standards, this was really disappointing. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this location—there are much better options elsewhere.

What can i say , westfield stratford nandos Waiter called Raphael is so welcoming , he even refilled mine and my daughter's glass of drinks. Hes giving excellent vibes. Love him he is so happy aswell to all the customers.

Rafael was the best server ever! He took care of us by giving us salt and even refilling our drinks! He was very kind and has such a beautiful positive actitud that is priceless! Would definitely come back only because pf him!

Have visiting Nando’s Westfield on Thursday 21st Nov 2024. We will not be returning due to unprofessional / untrained front of house student staff who has no idea dealing with the public and a manager who was no better called Alex.

Went here for dinner this evening as we love nandos. However wasn't happen with the experience at this restaurant. Firstly we ordered exactly the same grilled chicken burger. Yet when it came one of the burgers had cheese on it. There should not have been cheese on either. Also when the guy came to the table he literally just dumped it on table didn't bother to ask who's meal was who they had completely different sides. He barely paused long enough to put the plates down. No one bothered to come back to check if everything was OK and we didn't see any staff on way out. Really poor show. Shame as the food was nice.

PLS STOP GIVING ME LUKEWARM MEALS. ALL THE TIME atp😔😔😔

I am greatly disappointed in the food I received from my takeaway order today. My sweet potato fries were only filled up to half way in the box. I have seen that this nandos seems not to care about takeaway customers. My advice to anyone who is ordering takeaway, make sure you check the order before you leave

Very bad service tried taking away my food because it was “outside food” and when my daughters friends mum pushed her away for it the employee went crying and we got kicked out also when her friends mum was asking why the manger wouldn’t tell us and keep saying “your not eating here today” very bad service and very racist and also when we asked them to take a look at the cameras they said they couldn’t because they know we were right. You call this customer service????!

Always quick time waiting. Good service. Just food sometimes burnt or undercooked. Today I got a great service and help with using my voucher from Mehdee, he showed patience and respect, politeness (even though my voucher didn’t work first), gave good advice. It was really nice experience. Big thanks Mehdee.

On 2 occasions I have ordered from nandos, 1 at the till and another time online. The waiting area for deliveries is so clear but they don’t come, after waiting 25+ minutes I keep having to take the initiative to go ask and then they pull out my order. This is horrible and it has happened twice.

Our server was Andres, he was brilliant, friendly and kind to us. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of. Never had this experience in Nando’s before, he was so fantastic!!

The chicken wasn't as tender as it suggested.

So me and the missus went Nando’s Stratford and safe to say we were satisfied. Our server, Taher, was on the ball like Salah. We gave him a lot of information and he was able to tell the kitchen exactly what we needed and the food came out exquisite. The till staff though, need to wake up fr (it was packed tbf)

Exceptional service by Rafael. He went above and beyond, got us everything we needed without even needing to ask him. Extremely cordial and polite. Rafael was great. The food was great, everything we ordered got to the table quite quickly and well made. Would definitely recommend and would come here again no questions asked.

My family and I decided to go to the shopping centre and then have dinner here. There was a bit of a queue but we didn't have to wait long. The food was very good and the waiter Rafael who served us was super friendly and very attentive, he made our night. We will be back soon and we hope to see Rafael again.

Visited on Friday evening after picking up our son. It was fairly busy but only had a 10 minute wait. We ordered half a chicken chips and sweetcorn, chicken wings and hummus all to come up together. Service was efficient and friendly

Absolutely awful service. Couldn’t wait to close although we were allowed in by the host and had a good 20 mins spare before closing. Very rushed, awful till service and all round not worth the £50 we paid for 2 people to be rushed out of the restaurant. Absolutely gone down hill over the years I’ve been visiting and will NOT be visiting again. For sure.

Just wanted to highlight Babloo’s AMAZING service. He just checked in on how our meal was going and we ended up having a really nice conversation - he not only taught us a lot about London but also introduced us to some must try menu items for our next visit. As for the food it was phenomenal - the chicken thigh with the Fanta sauce was among the best I’ve ever had; crunchy slightly sweet skin with juicy melt in your mouth meat. Also Angel at the register was very kind and helpful !! Also this Nandos was far superior to the one we tried in Vancouver Canada.

The food and service is great. Thanks Hibaq for amazing help and service! We will definitely be visiting again, highly recommend.

Just wanted to leave a review here only for the lovely lady at front desk at Nando Westfield's Stratford..her name is Prazeres, a true asset to the restaurant, she made me feel so welcomed, I wanted to dine in after I spoke to her even though I couldn't eat any meat dishes as it wasn't halal..the side dishes like the creamy mash and garlic bread were a disappointment but nevertheless I would like nandos to recognise her for her skills please. I went around lunchtime with my neice and nephew. It's wasn't as busy. Usually we go at dinner time and we'd have to queue up. There was no one to take orders, I stood there for so long. One of the staff she looked at me a couple of times still didn’t come to service us. After literally 15 minutes, she comes looking annoyed. Other staff were nice, but it was just when placing the order I was disappointed .

It was my daughters 9th birthday and they sang happy birthday for her and made her day. The staff were very accommodating on 12.10.24

First time ever trying nandos so I wanted to see what the hype was all about and it sadly disappointed. Ordered a medium boneless chicken platter and it had no flavour, not sure if I was given the wrong order. The chips and the seasoning were lovely though. Shout out to the (I think he’s Greek.) man who works there as a server, he was super welcoming & friendly, checked my allergies and just made the atmosphere in there great with his cheerful attitude and lovely singing. I would go back here just for him

We came across this place by accident, it was our first visit to this chain. We were really fascinated, the chicken is delicious, as well as the side dishes, which are offered in different options. The staff was very friendly and always kept an eye on our table. The prices are very good and the ordering system is quite efficient. I highly recommend it.

When we arrived at Nando’s the restaurant was very busy but all of the staff were very attentive and organised all of us that were waiting in a queue well. Our waiter Rafael was so accommodating and even bought over our sauces/condiments for us (see picture). Gracias Rafael! You made our dining experience very enjoyable!

The quality of the food was great. It was very busy though and we had to wait a bit to get a table. The table we got was filthy and I suppose understandable due to it being so busy. You need to order your food at the till and then the food is delivered to your table. This was not clearly communicated on entry.

The food here exceeded expectations and was a lot better than most Nandos I've had in South Africa. In terms of service, it's very high traffic and not the cleanest place. Atmosphere is relatively good and I can't fault it too much.

I went Stratford city Westfield mall to watch a movie, before that me and my fried bought chicken wrap from Nando's. I chose medium spicy but there was no spice at all and Tortila was not cooked properly. The overall ambience is good. Shop was super busy at that time.

The chicken was a little raw, I asked a waiter to be able to do it more, who called the Manager and this girl replied that she had been working for the company for 15 years as a Manager and that the only thing she could do is change the chicken portion that We think it is undercooked! Incredible to know that I pay to eat and they charge me for telling me how to eat a chicken! I don't like chicken with the pink middle!!! Incredible

Always love nando's but its cost is now moved into premium dining and sadly it's not that level.

The food here is amazing we need this in Florida the only downfall is it was very smoky I had to leave halfway into my meal, I couldn't breathe I went again at the Gatwick Airport location on my way back to Florida. I had a better experience enjoyed my whole meal. The Food was definitely a 10 at both locations please bring Nandos to Orlando.

We went to Nandos Halal in Startford to celebrate our daughter’s GCSE results.While we were waiting in the queue outside the resturant ,Nandos staff was so rude,couple of guys tried to jump the queue,the red shirt guy from Nandos staff opened the door and told us to wait outside not near the door and told the guy to wait outside. He said to us in such a rude manner like we were there for free food or begging, there was another family who waited in the same place but never been told off. Inside the restaurant the red shirt guy was very rude to other customers as well.While we wait for our order so many items were missing,have to chase them up and staff like don’t care. Everyone looks too exhausted and done with customer service. First time experience really bad won’t go again,food was cold,drinks were warm,really dirty place,drinks were spilled on the floor,Won’t go there again.

I've never been to Westfield before, and the kids were hungry. Went upstairs and saw Nandos. It was busy, but we still walked in as a group of 4 people. Had two wing platters. Food took about 15 minutes. It was hot and tasty, no complaints.

Portions are extremely small not a good value for money.

So easy with the app. Lovely service from Sumaya!
